Jake at Harvey Norman is the man to talk to if you have issues with anything. I went through proper channels by emailing the store. It also helps if you read up on ACL as well (Australian Consumer Law) Long story short, they let me choose an all new TV after my SONY Bravia stopped working. Best result! Have to put some positive feedback out there and give them recognition when someone does the right thing. Thanks!

Rude old bloke there.

I came to Harvey Norman today not expecting to have what ended up being one of the most seamless, natural and enjoyable shopping experiences. Jowan helped me and my parents tick every box whilst buying a new MacBook. He was professional, helpful and genuinely friendly. Thank you for turning what started as stressful day for me, into a fabulous opportunity. These kinds of interactions with strangers don't get forgotten, and are appreciated more than imagined. He deserves the highest regard and recognition. Thank you so much for your kindness Jowan!

Very disappointing experience at Harvey Norman Burleigh Heads. I approached three staff members for help, but they were unwilling to assist or even listen to my issue. Their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, making me feel completely disregarded as a customer. I expected at least an effort to help, but instead, I was met with poor customer service. It's definitely not the experience I was hoping for. I regretted my decision to buy here.

Waited for 30 minutes for click and collect order they were no help from anyone staff and just waste of time don’t buy anything from here if you have discount or sale waste of time.We have placed the order in December month and still we not received our order still we are waiting ???

Don’t buy anything that might needs custom care from this shop. Extremely extremely bad warranty policies and very rude staff. I bought a device from there and it’s faulty but they don’t refund or replace , they took the device in for 3 weeks and no answer. When i asked the man in the tv section that can we refund or exchange because we already paid , he was so rude and angry answering: it’s not working like that you have to wait and snapping. Not nice at all . I m recommending anyone in my family, friends and people who i work with that don’t buy from this store and they are nice when u buy something but extremely rude when it’s faulty and has to bring it back .

Spent 25 mins at the pick up area unattended despite following the instructions on email filling the required information and kept photo ID handy not waste the staff time but the management has zero concern towards their customers. I have to park my car again in the front of the shop, walk to customer desk to collect the item but what's the purpose of click n collect from the vehicle ?

We came into store today (Black Friday weekend!) after our fridge broke the evening before. We were quickly helped by Tanya, she was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We took away a lovely new fridge freezer and felt much relief from all of her help, especially on such a busy weekend for all retail staff. Thank you Tanya. Warren and Candie

STAFF WON'T LEAVE ALONE TO BROWSE

Store is basically empty but everyone too busy to help..

We have just purchased an Oracle Jet coffee appliance. It is simply amazing. The staff here were so helpful. A special mention for Josh who supervised the purchase of this amazing quite expensive product. As always we paid the extra for the product care so 5 years of no worries. Its a must! If you do not believe how good they say the Oracle Jet is just buy it. You will be amazed at the quality and the delicious coffee it makes with very easy steps. Its not complicated at all. We loved our Jura S8 but the Oracle Jet defies belief and a step ahead. Thank you Breville. Thank you Harvey Norman Burleigh Waters and Thank You Josh.

Went into store and stood at the area I want to be served at, and there were 8 staff members talking and not one person offered to help. I went to the front desk to ask for services and she told me to go to the area I needed help in. You guys need to pick up on meet and greeting the customer and helping. Here are 4 looking at the computer and the other 4 are just to the side. Most just stood with there hands behind there back

Great store with huge variety. Friendly and helpful staff . Offer to beat opposition prices. Great parking . Knowledgeable staff.

Help was not great on phone. I was confused @ how prompts worked or didn't work. Talk about negative information.......all about a footstool. Still searching after 24 hours.....suppose its online organise results or disorganised results?"

Harvey norman Burleigh is amazing the staff are so helpful there I got myself a watch and it broke twice went in and they got me a new one straight away...

Absolutely no help with after sales support for a faulty Hisense TV under warranty. Management did not appear concerned when escalated either.

I found Rachel Dench very professional sale ,helped us for replacing a robot vacuum cleaner .She was absolutely amazing .

Marcus from HN Burleigh is the most helpful salesperson ever! He was so knowledgeable and really helped us out with our new appliances for our new home renovation. He is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Some of the bigger items we needed delivered at a later date and he kept us in the loop the entire time.. communication absolutely incredible.. thanks for taking the stress out of buying, Marcus! We will be back for the next lot of stuff we need and will recommend all our friends and fam!

Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this store!

Just bought a Brother printer and a security camera from Ethan who assisted us, he was very helpful and very polite. Highly recommend this store for its wonderful customer service!

I've bought Fridges and white goods from here in the past, but not any more. Thanks for NOTHING, this time around. I can't complain about the service today because I GOT NONE. Walked in at about 1.30pm and went to the TV section to buy a large TV. NO ONE THERE. Went to the Fridge section to look at a Samsung fridge. No one there either. Wandered around the store and I was not approached or greeted by a single sales person (They're easily spotted as they wear blue shirts and are busy ignoring people). After 15+ minutes of being IGNORED, I left. From there, I went to The Good Guys and got great service. After that I went to JB and got served in under 2 minutes. Gerry Harvey would not be pleased. Time to have a word with the franchisee at Burleigh Waters, Mr Harvey. If you want service, go elsewhere. If you want to be treated like a customer, go elsewhere. If you have time to stand around and be ignored, this is the place for you.

Outstanding customer support by John in electrical. Seamlessly organised the removal and replacement of a faulty cooktop under warranty!! John goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction.

I purchased a Dyson V15 Detect today and was assisted by Alison G. She was so informative and helpful. I have had Dysons for years and she still was able to give me new tips on the use and care of the device. Thanks

Suggest do not buy from this store, unless you don't care about after sales warranty support. 1 week old LG TV with a fault in it's digital tuner. Had to lodge the warranty with LG directly, as sales person at HN claimed he lodged (LG said he did not), and has not followed up or called me back. Unfortunately they are keen for the sale; but that's where the good service ends. This is not my first bad experience there either, so I'll learn from my mistakes this time and not shop there again.

Staff exceptional knowledge, patience.

Went to buy a mobile phone at 4.15pm on 23/10/23. Stood around being ignored by staff for 15 minutes. Obviously staff in phone section must finish at 4pm. Decided to take business elsewhere.

Lowest customer service ever. Waiting for a keyboard and mouse that I took there for replacement (after being advised that they had it in stock) and left with nothing, I could not take my damaged back and they advised me that the combo was in back order without an ETA. 😩

Has everything you need like all Harvey Norman stores but lady at customer service desk at front door was very rude and needs to work on being polite to everyone. Disappointing we spent quite alot too

Wow ! Went in to buy and research a printer , Safrina was fantastic , friendly , knowledgeable , informative , bubbly , very help , she recently moved from NZ where she was working with HN . Very rare to get someone so enthusiastic you could see she loved her job . Look after her she’s an asset ! And yes I’m back today to buy the printer she recommended for my needs , even went onto you tube to show me how to set it up !

I purchased a product over the phone very helpful gentleman then went in to collect it and unfortunately the lady at front counter was quite rude. She needs to learn how to smile and interact with customers I think her name was Julie.

Got a good Denon sound bar for a great price. Don't have to use my AV receiver all the time.

I have been wanting to thank Rachel at the Burleigh Store for selling me one of the best Dysons I have ever owned, I bought a V12 from her, great salesperson, very honest and the transaction was quick and easy. I have also bought a Smeg coffee machine and Smeg toaster from her, have been very happy with all transactions. Thank you for being a great salesperson.

We purchased a new fridge from this store and it was faulty from day one & asked for a refund or a replacement but was refused. So Electrolux sent a service technician & he advised the fridge system was faulty & not worth repairing & also confirmed the fridge was over 4 years old so we confronted the floor manager Daniel Orr about sold old stock without disclosure of age, he still refused to refund or replace the fridge but eventually Electrolux issued a store credit. So after approximately 5 weeks we got another fridge no thanks to him. We have spent thousands with this store over the years but because of his appalling attitude of customer service for us we will never deal with this store again.

Not a big review writer but when someone stands out I believe they should get the prasie they deserve. The sales guy Arif at Harvey Norman Burleigh Water was fantastic and very helpful in our purchase, if needing anything else I would be sure to look out for Arif Mills

Went in store yesterday to be ignored by two overweight staff members literally playing on their phones. One watching videos loudly who knew to turn it down when I walked over but not ask if I needed help. The other just looked at me and kept scrolling. Where do you find these people, get rid of them. Eventually a young red head girl helped me find the vacuum bags I was after. She was great.

Bought a SMEG toaster that stopped working within the warranty period; the return process was an absolute Breeze to get my proof of receipt and organize a replacement at another store. Friendly easy and great price.

Guy in fridge area let us walk out without beating the price we quoted. He wanted to match it. We asked why we would bother buying through him for a price match. He took an attitude. We bought elsewhere

Quick and easy, went in looking for a microwave today... Was in and out in 15 minutes with a price match and assistance loading to my car. EASY! Thanks to the team, they saved me having to run down to a competitor, and everyone was pleasant. Much appreciated!

Worst experience. We purchased a TV for a unit at the Gold Coast with an immediate fault. We were promised replacement and installation. This did not occur and resulted in the faulty TV being removed from the unit with TV cables, foxtel cables and anti tip straps still attached. The process of complaint management and refund for the taken anti tip strap has been extremely frustrating. We will never shop at the store again and it has lost a large unit complex as well.

It was a lovely shopping centre with so much specials on offer and friendly customer service ..

Have lately had some concerns that this place is understaffed and not really always on the ball. Generally very friendly in store, but if you have a warranty concern the communication lines break down. Have also noticed that pricing is not as competitive any more. Used to be our go to electics store.

The sales in store was overall pleasant to deal with- although the service quality dropped after payment had been made. The delivery aspect was terrible. First they tried to deliver the goods at nearly 7pm...with HALF the order not on the truck, after it was originally scheduled to be delivered at 4pm. Rescheduled for another day at 4pm , was not delivered until nearly 6pm, and then refused installation even though we had paid it. He only agreed to install the goods after we told him to call and check with his boss.
