I recently visited Westmead Tavern and spent over three hours playing the pokies, losing $700. While waiting for a friend to bring additional funds, a cleaning staff member approached me, acting as if she were in a position of authority. Without any justification, she rudely demanded that I leave, despite the venue being nearly empty. To make matters worse, she dramatically called security over the radio, which I found to be both unprofessional and disrespectful. This experience left me feeling mistreated and unwelcome. I strongly advise others to avoid this venue due to their staff’s inappropriate behaviour.

Amazing food, amazing service, friendly staff, just really hot sitting inside. Would definitely return.

OMG! Went for dinner. I had the Chicken burger and my husband had the beef burger. Both were the best pub burgers we have ever had. The aoli sauce that came with the chips was amazing. Everything was so fresh. When we ordered, we were told it would be about 25 mins . Which was fine. Gave us a buzzer to pick up our meal, but the chef brought it out himself. 10/10. Can not fault them. Will be back!

Centrally located to Westmead area within close proximity to public transport and walking distance to hospital. Was a bit quiet when I was there but seems to get a constant trade from locals. Staff were friendly.

Westmead food court is so good to enjoy with the family & friends but tab is very disgusting one of the staff & security kick me off: for asking? why the board is placed more than ten minutes. My personal experience never to enter the entertainment zone. see me receipts one day prior how much I spent in there. I never enter in my life. So insane to see this message from westmead tavern because of westmead tavern staff & working security people they are all together. I called two times gamble responsible? But fortune to see the response is negative, I have Been living westmead for 10 years after living my home country. Hope you understand……. Thanks Happy Monday

Great customer service and very welcoming and respectful staff on bar. Especially Sujju on bar. She is very professional, welcoming, respectful to customers. Food next to bar is amazingly. Met a megalomaniac joker bartender who has a giant size ego...no wonder the place was empty on Friday evening! He told us to leave because we ordered something which was meant for takeaway! If u don't like to work, stay at home...most of the positive feedbacks appear to be wrtten by nepalese working here !

I used to love going to westmead Tavern.. It's a little bit scruffy now. Just not the same. The bottle shop is closed. A little expensive. Over all I did like the out side drinking garden. Not much atmosphere.

The licensing agreements must have changed, I've been refused entry, for reasons I don't know, the security guards are generally okay, but it must be hard to get good staff, because this bouncer had a issue with me, and had me ejected from the premises, and bard from the pub for a week, why I don't know.. reasons unknown Great, was good without having any problems with anyone 🥴 drunk or under the influence of meth, and good amounts of card machines available. 😉

Worst service, expensive prices, terrible atmosphere, food is mediocre and the serving size is dismal. Should be knocked down with the owners still in it. Never go here.

Bit empty most of the time but set next to the train station. Needs outside music or karaoke nights. Dinners are nice also. Staff are great. Nice local pub. Shame there aren't ANY other open late cafes in the area.

This is a great place when you just want some chill out and further a few dollars in the poking machine or play a game of pool or just hang out and have a good bit of food or go and sit in the beer garden out the front and drink a few points or you know or you know with that special person and you can just have that nice intimate time as well. They kick all boxes there. Give them a well, they're worth it. And they definitely cater for family as well

I just wanted to use their ATM when a lady tried to stop me from entering because I was in posession of an E scooter, when I politely told her she was making the situation more difficult than it needed to be she called the security guard !! Even the security guard was not impressed , If I want to visit a pub I will just go to Parramatta from now on where I will be treated like a human being :)

There's not much in the area so it gets 2 stars. The outdoor space is ok and even though all their tap beer is Japanese owned at least they have Coopers Red available in the bottle. So you can still support the local economy. 2 stars at best

Everything is great besides the guy who works there as a manager. He doesn’t know how to talk to their customer. His name is Amit Basnet , if he’s working there you shouldn't go with your family/friends and i hope the higher authorities take note regarding this guy. He can’t even speak fluently with the customers and when you ask any question he gets offended and behaves like a proper gronk.

Its ok for the usual beer . Has some good outside space , located upstairs . The complex has great heart & employees.

Great vibe. Okay prices for serving portions. I got a parmy with mash. Wasn’t charged extra for swapping which is great. However the mash was clearly deb powdered potatoes :( big let down. Schnitzel was decent size, excellently sauced and cheese was great. Salad was great. Just let down by the mash. Would probably come back to try it with chips. Thanks for the service! 🌻

best chicken schnitzel and Parmigiana we have had in a long long time. Service was great. Came back for night 2 and T-Bone was awesome. Cooked exactly how I asked for it. Prices are really good as well. Definitely will come back.

It is Westmead Tav... The beer selection is alright. The food has become really good with a change of kitchen. There is a standard pub menu but the Nepalese curries are next level for a pub! They serve kids meals to adult so a beer and lunch is really reasonable at about $15

There's not a lot going on in the vicinity. Inside is relatively warm, food was roughly average of a cheap lunch steak and chips. Thin minute steak, which is a little unfortunate but it was well seasoned and cooked. The diane sauce was out of a packet, I suspect because it lacked the foundation of Diane sauce. Not the worst in the world if you need a cheap, affordable meal on the go. The staff were lively, friendly and approachable, so great service.

Good beer 🍺 and food

The bar staff are amazing, I was there with my little boy today for a few hours and we had a ball with the teddy and candy machine. I haven’t had service this good in Sydney ever. Definitely be back next time I’m in Westmead. Cheers guy’s

Just ordered medium rump steak from them on uber and received unchewable rubber that's way over cooked, now I have to order something else for lunch, thanks a bunch, fire the chef!
