Friendly service and a wide range of electronic products

Worse customer service. Took a product back for refund and they totally stuffed up my refund. So annoyed as I told the girl how the refund should go back…..The store has gone down hill since Vince & Rene left. I seriously hate this store and will now always go to Marion where the staff know exactly what they are doing.

The washing machine they provided has been leaking and needs to be replaced. The staff then scheduled the appointment for Tuesday morning, which was incorrect as I wasn’t home at that time. When I called to follow up, I waited for 15 minutes with no answer, and the call was disconnected. Very disappointing service and poor communication.

Absolute pain to deal about a faulty appliance. All they do is, raise complaints with brand. A washing machine that makes industrial noise and has been repaired once within 2 months of purchase and still not fixed. I need a refund and all they can do is raise a complaint with brand.

It hard to get discounts in here, the delivery need to pay, and when my dryer and washer have been sent to my home ,they ask me for extra money,but nobody tells me this thing before.

Walked in thinking i am going to have an argument about returning a faulty microwave that stopped working in under 9 months. Instead i was met with a smile, great service and understanding staff. I was amazed with the friendly service and quick solution for the problem. Because of how this situation was handled, i came back after couple of months to buy a robot mop and vac, i was met and looked after even more than the first time. Thank you to the team, because of you and the service i got, you have secured a repeat customer and especially for this location. Well done and i hope you keep it up.

I had great customer service by Raj. He patiently explained the various types of portable air conditioners for rentals, he was very kind, professional and full of product knowledge! He also assisted in transporting my purchase to my car.

Found what I wanted at another good guys. I was impressed by the time and effort they took to track it down.

The lady behind the counter ‘Ariana’ was extremely rude and offers no customer service or just politeness in general.

Worst shopping experience of my life worse then getting scammed online at least if you get scammed online the product was cheap, $1800 dollars wasnt enough for this company and the scammer installers to show the common decency to communicate installer's have wasted my time and now I'm about to get a refund I've waited over a month good guys have sent 2 different installer's one never showed the other demanded more money this is completely unacceptable

Ordered a Garmin watch for my wife , for click and collect, Great price , great item , was a nice easy transaction . Great service.

Recently bought a dishwasher from them and had a fault come up while installing it into the kitchen, called up support and within a minute they figured out the issue. Very satisfied with the purchase and the support over the phone

In my experience, this location always has amazing customer service and great selection. Alex in particular is very knowledgeable about tv’s and will take care of you. Two thumbs up!

Excellent customer service, returns/exchange service. I had a dryer become faulty, I bought it 19 months ago. They found the receipt, raised a service job, service worked out they couldn't fix it, got back to good guys, they asked me what I wanted to do, I chose to upgrade, the new dryer was delivered and old one picked up. The whole process took a week from reporting the fault to replacement, with Christmas in between! I cannot fault the service and not once did I feel dismissed or that I was a burden. Everyone involved just wanted me to be satisfied. It's rare these days to be made to feel like a valued customer by such a large organisation. GoodGuys Mile End. Bloody brilliant.

My husband and I have not purchased a TV for 10 years or more. We find the whole process very confronting. The staff were very very helpful and friendly. After patiently explaining all the pros and cons of various TVs we feel very confident that we have purchased the right TV for us.

Good advice and a Black Friday price well in advance. Wonderful. Very happy with the purchase.

Alex V has been helping us for four years, and he is always honest and very nice. Two staff who did a delivery were also very nice. Would absolutely recommend.

The manager at the good guys Mile End ruined my day. I know someone that went to get a steamer, paid for the product, and left with nothing but anger, when the manager sold the item behind his back. He is very unprofessional, and didn’t care either.

Support staff were great. I remember no mistake that guy's name was Thang. It's amazing.

October 2024 - Update on this review from September. I finally got my promised $200 voucher from AGL for Good Guys 5 months later!! It took multiple phone calls and so many emails with back and forth for 5 months. They keep making excuses and asking me to wait and hoping I’d go away. In the end the only thing that worked (and almost immediately) was to threaten to contact to EWOSA, ACCC and contact Consumer and Business Services - which I will still be doing. The promise of this voucher is misleading and deceptive conduct on behalf of AGL promoted by The Good Guys who hand them out. Do not be tempted. AGL will be removed as my gas and electricity provider and I will no longer shop at The Good Guys September 2024 I had Steven and he was pretty good and very happy to facilitate me purchasing a handful of items worth $$$$ I was handed a promotion saying if I joined AGL gas and electricity I would receive a $200 voucher at The Good Guys. Well, I have been chasing this voucher for 3 months now and being given the total run around by AGL. It’s a serious scam.

I wouldn't buy anything from these good guys. My friend bought a Samsung fridge 3 weeks ago which apparently has a known fault and she is getting the run around from the Good Guys. Meanwhile she has been without a working fridge for 3 weeks.

Yesterday we went to see some TVs, and spoke to the Good Guy Thang, we had an amazing chat with him, and today we went there again to buy the TV. Great customer service. Thank you, Thang.

Some sales people are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Others could use some improvement.

Disgusting costumer service

Horrible service, two months following up repair for dishwasher, even after having concierge services.

Walked in to pick up a hair appliance. I was also interested in a smart TV. At least 8 staff standing around chatting to each other ignored me. One person asked if I wanted some help but was then so disinterested and patronising he lost them a sale and I still don’t have a new TV.

The customer service is terrible. I have just been discharged from the hospital and am unable to drive. Have tried to contact them via chat as well as calling the store. I was put on hold for more than 10 mins. I purchased a Vax Pet Pro which is the worse vacuum cleaner on earth - the barrel keeps falling away from the machine - I wanted to try to exchange it for a Shark Navigator and pay the price difference and see if they are able to help me with using Uber delivery and return as I am unable to drive at the moment. Online chat didn’t even consider my question and told me to call. I called and was put on hold. This is not the first time I have encountered terrible service from them.

Customer service is terrible. Why are the people that work here so miserable? They are hostile to the customers. I think it's time to bring in the Green, Amber and Red button system to keep them in check.

I purchased the dishwasher at the Mile End shop on the 26th of February and found out that one of the rail end caps was broken, fell off, and was laying on the bottom of the dishwasher before our first use. I reported the issue multiple times, but received no response. It is almost April. Very disappointed.

I attended the Mile end store last week. I would like to thank Tony in the Oven dept and Thaing in the TV department for their great service. They took their time and covered all questions I had. It has been a while since I have received such good customer service.

We went in to buy an aircon (obviously) and ran into perhaps the nicest salesperson ever. Andrew was so helpful, truly made me realise that I could never work retail because I could never be that friendly and upbeat to every customer I saw. (Writing this review from a room that isn’t the temperature of an oven thanks to the aircon we got) All around what is normally an irritable experience was quite lovely

Huge respect for Helen who helped me buy a washing machine over the phone in super quick time. She was efficient, friendly and informative. She rang back twice very promptly and made sure I understood what was happening. This girl needs a bonus.

Online order so simply had to collect, staff were efficient enough.

I bought a fridge + premium delivery in store on a Sunday, advised I had stairs and was charged for delivery but told I would need to send photos, measurements & my # of stairs before delivery was confirmed. Did this, and the store confirmed the delivery for Wed. I was never given a delivery window, just a text that said they were 2 mins away. I was frantically emptying out the old fridge when the showed up. Delivery staff immediately hostile, said they hadn't been told about my stairs by the Good Guys. They unboxed the fridge in the truck and then smashed into the stair handrail a few times and said they had to take it back as it was damaged - and told me to tell the store it was damaged coming out of the box. Organised delivery for the next day (Thurs), was asked to take the handrails off the stairs, no worries did that and was given a delivery window so had the fridge emptied and moved out of place this time. Delivery team arrives late (outside of the window) and immediately says they didn't know I had stairs or a fridge to be removed (communication between the store and delivery is non existent). The say they will take it back, I say no it's mine it's not going anywhere. Eventually their manager shows up to help, they get it up the stairs and in okay but refuse to take the old unit as it is too heavy. Manager says they will be back tomorrow (Fri) to pick it up. I never hear from the store, when I called them they thought the old fridge had been removed, they say no worries will get it removed today. Get another call from them an hour later, apparently the delivery team said they didn't remove it because it was too big (it's smaller than the new fridge) and can I please take the doors off. Told them yesterday the story was it was too heavy but sure I will take the doors off. Do this, then get another phone call later saying pick up will actually be tomorrow (Sat). I ended up speaking to the store manager who apologised and agreed that the service I had received was terrible. However, he refused to do anything about it, when I confirmed that and said no worries I'll make a complaint instead he said 'okay' and hung up on me. The fridge was eventually picked up Sat. However, between the missed hours at work to deal with the inability of the Good Guys to communicate with their own delivery team, food tossed out from being in and out of the fridge all week and the fact our carpets now need a steam clean as the delivery guys wouldn't wipe their boots, I have paid essentially double the original cost of the fridge. This has been one of the most frustrating and stressful interactions I have ever had with a company. Save yourself some money and stress and go ANYWHERE else. Also, I am still getting texts from them with other customers delivery details and windows. So customer privacy isn't high on their list of priorities either.

I had the most wonderful service yesterday by Thuan. He has a very professional and sincere demeanour and wonderful technical knowledge. I was enquiring about Head Silencer Headphones and came to seek comparisons of the various brands. The list of questions that I had was long and in each case he knew all the products, data and specifications. I have occasionally been underwhelmed by the Good Guys service so Thuan’s approach stood high above the rest. I couldn’t help but feel that the Good Guys should be utilising his skills to create opportunities for someone like Thuan in their Corporate structure.

Today we came to pre order a S24. Highly recommend their customer service and assistance. Meet P. you are an excellent person to have in this store. Keep shining 🌟

Ordered a dishwasher for delivery, installation and removal of old broken dishwasher. Service was absolutely above and beyond. The guys who installed it while I was at work even started the first wash so that when I came home it was ready to be used!

cannot speak highly enough about service today. rang to get historical information about the LG dishwasher which was not working and spoke to Vince. He gave me the information i wanted (purchase date) and then asked what the problem was. I told him and he told me simply how to fix it myself rather than call out a technician. Took me all of 5 minutes. thanks a million Vince.

Don’t order from good guys the postal service they use is a nightmare and will cause more problems then it’s worth.

My review is for the online aspect of Good Guys. I purchased a microwave over 10 weeks ago. Numerous delays have abounded and long story short, I couldn't wait any longer and bought a second hand microwave. The process to cancel the order that is hanging in the balance of no man's land has been atrocious. Firstly, it's suggested that a cancellation can be made via the live chat system. So hey I've done this, the following day I get a text saying they need more information.. Wondering if they need the deed to my house after the info I've already provided. So anyway, I call. The telephone tree states that they are very busy, with massive delays. But never fear, we can sms you with a link to live chat. Wow that's convenient I think. So, along comes the link and I follow it. PAGE NOT FOUND. So Good Guys, I'll wait two days for your refund, and then I'm issuing a Consumer and Business Services notice to you giving you 7 days to pay or have CBS investigate your practices around refunds. Never buying from Good Guys again.
