Absolutely love the Altona Jbhifi. We were served by Bry and she was amazing! She was very friendly, genuinely searched for the product we needed, called other stores and she went above and beyond to help us. The best jbhifi store we’ve visited for sure!

We had a fridge breakdown that was still under warranty and the team at JB Hi-Fi Altona were super helpful in resolving the issue throughout the process. Once we recieved the return authority from the manufacturer the sales team were able to process a replacement fridge and have it delivered the next business day!

It's JB. Lots of stuff. Staff can be a bit hard to find at times.

What a great example of customer service - firstly it was amazing to ring a store direct and be put through to a person and within 30 minutes Quentin had escalated my situation had it resolved - I was incredibly impressed from Cash the salesperson through to the delivery process Quentin was able to resolve / manage / resolve and reconfirm - amazing !!! 👍 Customer service here is next level. I unfortunately couldn't receive a product I'd ordered last year but the team where incredible and went beyond my expectations to try and make the best out of an unfortunate situation. Shout out to Jeremy, who is fantastic and was with me through the whole journey.

Well stocked and staffed

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with this salesperson named Alex. I was genuinely disappointed when he didn't even attempt to explain himself and seemed to be in need of a nap. His response to my question was rather abrupt. However, I must say that I never experienced such a situation at JB Hifi, as everyone is genuinely cordial. Finally, I had the privilege of having a pleasant salesperson assist me, which I greatly appreciated.

Huge thanks to Troy, Bella, and their manager for incredible patience during my Black Friday order request. Despite a busy day and a complicated system, they spent over two hours helping me. Even though I didn't complete my purchase, their kindness and professionalism were truly impressive. Customer service at its best!

Great, plan your pickup during holidays and major sale times

Disappointing experience. Trying to get someone to help was impossible. Staff walking passed even after I got their attention, then they walked up to others saying can I help you. And no the other customers were not there first.

Good service customer. Fast and efficient

Staff are lovely, pricing is good. Highly recommend.

Don’t ever click and collect. The queue is longer to be served and they can’t find the orders. Then there’re is paperwork to be filled in and that’s after you’ve shown photo id. When they did find the order the boxes were taped together with sticky taped together and the boxes were ripped. Not gift giving condition which these are. Better to shop yourself in store.

I had a fantastic experience with Juan at JB Hi-Fi Altona North. He offered me a great deal on a microwave and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Juan’s personable and friendly approach made the whole shopping experience much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend his service!

was put on hold stuck listening to JB robot that repeated itself every 14 seconds. I will now leave 1 star review on all of my 21 gmail accounts. I am not the one. spoke to alana twice who didnt have a sollution forward. on hold for 11 minutes. HIRE MORE TEENAGERS if you have too. wasting customers time.

Went in just to have a look, and wound up buying all of the appliances for our new home here. We were helped by Steve who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience 5/5

Average jb experience and store. The guy manager on today was very helpful to me and I was in and out without any fuss. It was pretty busy but he was happy to help.

Unfortunately very cold, unhelpful, disinterested customers service received here a few days ago. I went in with receipt for an item which was told a week earlier in store was in warranty and to come in with the item to process the claim. Unfortunately, when I came in the store the second time with the item I was passed around from one staff member to another who were quick to tell me the damage would not be covered under warranty and then quick again to tell me it was out of warranty. I called the company Logitech from my car while outside the store and they were most helpful!! Although it was just out of warranty they opened a claim, emailed through the details for me to complete. Thank you Logitech. Disappointing JB Hi!!

Friendly staff, wide range of stock and really close to a bunch of other great places.

What a joke of service. Went to the store to buy a Sodastream, and was waiting for over 15 minutes for not one salesperson to speak to me. When I was leaving the person at the door made no efforts to understand what I wanted. In such a tough market specially retail environment losing customers is not a great outcome.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Anthony. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was extremely helpful when it came to us purchasing an LG washer. In addition, he was happy to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience, and as much savings as he could do. I generally always prefer to purchase everything online and get it delivered, but with the experience that Anthony gave, I would easily come back in-store to deal with him. Even if things cost a little more, he's definitely got my loyalty as a customer. All JBhifi stores (and other retails stores) could really learn from Anthony. Absolutely amazing!

Very poor service, the warranty they offer is a fraud, never buying anything from JB agai.

Been coming here since I can remember, the staff are amazing. There’s this one guy here who is super high energy (might be a manager?) and always a blast to chat to. Came in for a toasty maker this time (usually in for games) and they were equally as helpful as ever!

A good JB store to come to so that your car is really near the door for putting large equipment in the boot. Unfortunately none of the microwaves we wanted were in stock.

Due to the process of waiting for a drone, I had waited quite a while.

odered products since 2 weeks ago when it shows preorder on website. after 2 weeks my order still no updates even the product already available at website and my friends picked same products on other store 3 days ago. Is this shop locate at a isolated island in the middle of ocean? worst preorder experience ever

I always go to JB Hi-Fi if ever I need to pick up any electronics or white goods. The staff at JB in Altona are professional, friendly and always welcoming without being pushy! Anthony from the team at Altona is great to deal with. I value his expertise in electronics and TV's. He's friendly and always willing to help. This is one of the many reasons that I prefer buying from JB Hi-Fi rather than going somewhere else.

The person at entry was genuine and friendly and pointed me to where I needed to be. Then the product specialist topped it off with great advice. Old fashioned service. Nice change.

Previously have had amazing service at this store and always came back to shop. I purchased a Dyson 11 stick vacuum a few months ago after my one of 8 years ran out of battery. The vacuum keeps getting blocked and stopped working. I was served by Anthony. The Dyson is still under warranty. I regularly empty the vacuum and cartridge. Basically I was told there was nothing they could do and it was a ‘user’ issue. Really unimpressed with this level of service. Especially with a high end product under warranty. A shame as previous dealings with this store have been great.

Replaced a faulty DualSense PS5 controller today. Customer service was outstanding - friendly, efficient and done with a smile. Complements to the store manager and staff. JB....YOU ROCK!

Tegan has been helpful with return, generally staff is really good here. Hoppers crossing is 1 star in comparison!

Great service.

Returned a microwave that some how wouldn't work anymore after one year of gentle use, couldn't find receipt but no problem, sent away for repair, just have to wait and see now.

What more could I say, I've been looking to purchase an electric scooter for close to 6 months to assist on cutting costs down on the car. Today I happened to be served by Justin. Very down to watch and way to deal with. Explained the F2 pro in detail and simply for anyone to understand. Couldn't have had a better sales rep. I'd offer 6 stars if I could. I will be back.
