Nice little club with cheap drinks

A nice modern club which is just the right size, not too small or too big. Goldilocks would be impressed. Gets a bit noisy on a Saturday afternoon when the local lads get into the beers and so can seem a bit clicky. Staff are really friendly and welcoming so not a bad place for visitors.

Sunday roast is well priced, all staff are friendly and competent, and they take cash.

Don’t even try to book if you have an upcoming event onto this place. Unreliable and unprofessional to deal with staff!

A great local place to eat, drink and enjoy local music and sports. I visit there once a month. Special food every day, would recommend lical people and nearby suburban people to atleast try once.

Great location and busy atmosphere. Food was definitely lackluster though, a little worse than your regular pub food. The have a large menu but don't really deliver on a lot of the dishes.

It’s been a while since I’ve been inside a bowling club, but I ventured here for a work function. I have mixed feelings about our visit. Pros: - the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the young woman supporting our bowling activity - the food, whilst average, was inexpensive and servings were big - drinks were cheap due to a member being in the group - toilets were very clean, spacious and pretty good Cons: - the overt racism of some clientele. I was absolutely taken aback on my arrival to hear “dirty w*g” being thrown around so casually. - the lack of shaded seating outside - having our table reserved as booked

The food is ok, and atmosphere are mostly ok however some but not all of the things staff are very rude, aregent and impatient and in the experience I had did not give adequate time when an elderly person was ordering and the order took a long time to arrive.

I got here at 6:45pm and ordered our food at 7:00pm and 7:50pm asked we’re where our food is and the said 10-15 finally slowly coming at 8:20pm (kids meal) so slow

Small ocal bowls club with reasonably priced eats. Asked for chips and salad but got veggies instead. Lots of tables get reserved early for the members draws. Daily specials come with drink vouchers

vewy slay food my gyatt got very full from this nice meal because im a big person they very much equated for my size and if there was a all you can eat they would have to shut down cause of my big tummy (i cant see my toes)

Would NOT recommend at all, music is extremely loud and repetitive with the songs being a drag and not being able to hear conversation due to the excessive sound. Crazy long wait time for BELOW average food, VERY disappointed with the food that took WAY too long. The taste was nothing special and service not being very good at all was very unfortunate to say the least. The food took significantly OVER an hour to arrive at the table and arrived one at a time taking several minutes within each of them. Price point is CRAZY given the food was... BAD. Plates remained on the table for copious amounts of time as staff took their sweet time doing not very much. Save money time and effort by going somewhere else. Deeply disgusted and saddened. will NEVER come again.

Firstly I came in at 6:30pm ordered my food at 6:50pm and the food didn't come until 8pm. We were right infrony of the kid play room with little kids running everywhere and screaming then the music people came and they were so loud everyone was talking extremely loud to so that the person next to you can hear. When the food came out they gave it all to one table so we had to get up and get it ourselves mind you there was only 2 tables that my family was occuping. The chicken was very oily.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had my mother in laws wake here and paid a small fortune for terrible food that didn't feed everyone when we booked the place they exaggerated the portion sizes and on the day they just slapped the food together. The food platters were so small the food was poorly cooked and the $60 fruit platter was disgraceful. I will NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Our family are appalled at the disgusting, disgraceful service, we tried to give a special send off to a family member who meant so much, she did not get the send off she deserved.we all ended up more upset, because this shouldn't have been this way. Absolutely disgusting austral bowling club.

Far too cold aircon needs to be put up to warmer and very noisy inside gives you a headache

The austral bowlo will always be known as one of the greatest and friendliest places to go. Last night we had a going away party for my partner and were able host 40 people. The booking process was easy and staff were welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend.

The bistro food was average, with inconsistent serve sizes. The food was too expensive for the quality and amount you get, and actually getting our food took well over an hour after we ordered.

Was denied entry for work clothes on a rainy day clothes were clean as a whistle I didn’t even work due to the rain came here many times before but someone must have had a bad day today (ignore the signs tradies are not welcome)😂

Good place for Sunday evening

We have been here twice now as we are moving to Austral later in the year. The first time we went we were extremely impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful and some even cracked a good joke with us. The food was excellent and very well priced. My daughter was very happy to have a place to play before and after eating. I would definitely recommend this club as we have had a fantastic experience both times.

I love going to Club Austral. It’s got a great bistro, affordable drinks and the staff are fantastic. Even with so much development happening around, the club has managed to maintain its small town appeal whilst still offering quality entertainment, karaoke and food!!! Well done everyone!!! Will keep going back!!!
