It’s more of a pub/clubhouse with pokies vibe. Well known pub food favourites can be spotted on the menu. The chicken scallopini was ok and heavy on the cream. Chicken Parma was alright, just dry. The bar is managed by a lovely bar tender who makes excellent recommendations.

Always a warm atmosphere and pleasant service for occasional family gatherings 👏

I visited Glasshouse pre-COVID and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another try due to the kids' playground in the restaurant. Unfortunately, my friends and I were shocked by the staff’s rudeness when taking orders and serving food. One waiter even spilled tomato sauce on my husband and me, without apologizing or assisting with clean-up. On a positive note, Ashleigh, a waitress who started midway through our dinner, was lovely. She checked in frequently and was very friendly. I wish I could give a better score based on her service alone. The food was very basic and overpriced.

We dined for lunch Fri 17th Jan in restaurant. We normally just eat in the sports bar, which is always good value. Ordered from the Summer Lamb Specials" menu. The Rogan Josh was superb & the Seniors Crumbed Cutlets was also extremely tasty. Service was excellent. Restaurant was about a third full. Highly recommended."

We tried here for the first time in October, with the kids' play area being our main attraction. The food was okay. However, the service times left a lot to be desired. That night, we ordered a dessert at 5:45 pm (young kids, anyone?) And went at 6:30 when the dessert hadn't even turned up. We decided to try again tonight, a quiet Tuesday night in December. Only four tables were seated when we arrived, and we promptly ordered at 5:40 pm. Our meals did not arrive until 6:25 pm. I appreciate this is not a fast-food restaurant, and it may be fine if you are a couple on a date talking over a bottle of wine. However, For young kids, when time is at a premium, the time to receive the meals is too long. The kids' meals did come out within 10 minutes, but ours being 35 minutes later is not helpful. We have tried four other bistros in the surrounding area, all with kids' play centres, and all had the meals out to the table well within 20 minutes. All of them had substantially more customers than the Glasshouse as well.

Had the wagyu burger here that was a lot larger than expected. It tasted great too.

We had our work Christmas party there in a private function room. The place was clean and spacious, my workmates and I had a great dinning experience here. The deep fried calamari was tender and fresh, the salad added some freshness to the dish. The grill chicken was slightly dry, but the sauce and the grilled vegetables were fantastic, I also loved the creamy smashed potatoes. Their service was excellent, the staffs there were friendly and attentive.

Food and service quite nice

Came here with some friends from overseas, and 3 of us ordered porterhouse steaks. It seems that unfortunately all three of the steaks where very chewy/tough.. and my steak in particular almost was barely lukewarm too, it almost felt like the steak had been put aside for a while before it got to us. The staff checked on us to see if everything was ok, and we provided our honest feedback. We'd already eaten too much of our steaks and didn't want to trouble the kitchen for new ones, however based on our experience we wouldn't eat steak here again.

Attended a small private function of approximately 30 people of 65+ years. Food was very good and of consistent quality. Service was excellent.

Just visited them during my meeting. Had couple of drinks and finger food which I thought was a tad pricy because of the location. Otherwise, it's a nice place for the locals and pokies lovers I reckon.

Very disappointing have been coming there for 7 years Yesterday lunch our meals took 1 hour and half the table received there meals and had finished with the remaining meals coming out much much later Waitress basically said issues in the kitchen Coffee soft drink and dessert was then ordered and again drinks came out and were finished before dessert made it to the table Lastly we decided to order more coffee and this was not even bought as requested mugs were ordered and they came out in glasses Very disappointing,the meals I must say were not the best we have had Lastly we were asked to leave for the dinner change over not even having the option to move to continue our long distance catch up with friends Very very dissatisfied

Had a lovely dinner here with the family. Glasshouse burger was delicious, chips were yum! Arancini balls were very tasty and the Nasi Goreng was wonderful. Food was great quality for the price. My husband and I with a friend of ours we were there last Sunday for lunch to have Christmas in July but unfortunately ran out of roasts. So we all had lamb shanks and plum pudding we all enjoyed our meals. The service and staff were great.

A good mix of food (Pub Meals) has plenty of options. The kids' play area is good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent Fish and Chips with Salad coupled with excellent apple crumble with icecream. The wait staff were very polite and helpful. Great comfortable seats and ambience. Made my day.Will be back

Was a very nice place, was there around 6pm till about 8pm, a bit noisy with kids running around, but that's all good.

Great smaller, quieter pub with play space for kids. Nice selection of meals at reasonable prices and fast delivery to tables. Exceptionally kind and skilled staff who tolerated an excited and over-tired 2yo and even brought over crayons and paper when they kept running over to encourage other staff who were cleaning tables. We had a standard parma, a vegan pesto pasta, the best hot chips I've had in years and a couple lemon lime bitters. We'll be back.

Good food, and a great place for the family. With a play room for the kids, and directly across the road is the Glasshouse car park.

Shane was great, the head waiter at the Glasshouse Caulfield was very obliging. David the other waiter was also very helpful. We returned for a very nice meal after many years of absence. Will be returning again for a good meal & drink.

Very disappointed Mother's Day, food below average. Ordered lamb shanks just presentation turned me off, food had no flavour and was cold meat wasn't falling off the bone. Definitely won't be back or recommend this place.

Got the Mexican Parma, it was like it had been sitting out for ages, understaffed I felt bad for the one girl who was behind the bar by herself, is good for kids as it has a playground.

Disappointed to say that the service was poor. We had to go back to the counter to ask for our meals and then again for the kids icecream. The seniors steak was dry and tough. The peppercorn sauce tasted fruity. The staff were lovely but we felt ripped off. I thought senior's was meant to be cheap, not old!

Dined here as 2 adults and 3 kids. Overall, meals were nice, but my Calamari was awful. I told them and they were happy to replace with something else. Kids loved it, other meals were good. Good kids play area but really needs to be cleaned! Unfortunately thats the same every pub playground. Staff were nice.

Beautiful place. Came on Easter Friday. We were really surprised it's open. Big space and very welcoming. The meals are huge and tasty. Highly recommend Dip starter. Indoor Kids area also well set.

Gone from good to terrible, ordered a 'large' Parma and received average parma with no salad or veg, just a side of chips, what the hell?

My mothers senior roast had meat that was so tough she couldnt cut it. We advised the wait staff we they collected the plates, and the respnse was indefferent. She did say she would tell the chef, after waiting a while we left. The other meals we had were edible and tasty, atmosphere was nice too.

I had a great seafood linguine. The seafood was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was well-balanced. It came with garlic bread, which was the right side dish.

After a day at the races, I loved it. Good food and great atmosphere.

I had the ravioli which was quite underwhelming. I never add salt and had too to try and give it some flavour. My partner had the flathead tails which he enjoyed, my friend the linguine with seafood, although nice she was disappointed in the small amount of mussels.

I was quite surprised. Hardly anyone in the place, but I ended up with a lovely dinner. The food was really nice.

Great meals, including a wide selection of senior meals. They offer a better range of choices than most pubs/clubs do. I really enjoyed the meals I've had here and look forward to returning. They are located on Caulfield Racecourse, so if you're not interested in horses, come on a quiet non race day.

We came for lunch while scouting the place as we were looking for a kids birthday venue. The place is definitely spacious with options of private rooms for special events. There is a small indoor playground but it was not well maintained as it looks old and kind of dusty. We tried a number of different dishes and they all are a little disappointing. The spaghetti sauce tasted like ketchup, the cheese pizza had a thick and tough dough. The Croquettes had little fillings and the burger was just okay. The portion was big though and the service was friendly. Food - 3 Service - 7 Vibe - 5 Price - $$

Not surprised there was hardly anyone here sent my meal back they replaced it you can tell a hotel by their schnitzel and it was very average won’t be back

The schnitzel was so hard that my friend couldn’t cut it let alone eat it. It was sent back and the next one was dry and just as bad. The service was slow and we had to remind the staff to bring out all of our order. The place was empty at 7.30 on a Thursday night. It always used to be full or nearly full. It’s just not the same place as it used to be
