One of my favorite budget-nice meal! Portion is big, and taste is great.

Nice steaks at fair prices, but having to walk through an indoor smoking section to get to the restaurant is unappealing

Very bad experience with the communication with the bar girl upstairs having huge attitude and being unresponsive at 7:30 pm today.Shocked to see such customer skill on this reputative hotel.

I thought smoking indoors was illegal? I had one drink and had to leave. The smoke was so bad.

The short manager with the beard is extremely rude and unprofessional. Has no idea what he is doing. Terribly customer service. All his colleagues are working and he stands doing nothing

I'm giving 1 star some how they allow smoking indoors it's horrid

We went there at around midnight to have a drink and 3 of us order an pint each that cost us around $30 and one of my friend to wash face in washroom and as he was washing his face, the security thought he was too toxic which doesn’t even make sense, and we were kick out of this pub, we didn’t even have a sip of drink, and the security was claiming that our glass was empty, event thought we just been there, and we asked for refund or either take away of that beer, they refused to give us and when we were talking to the security owner came and the owner took to support pf security without even listening to our point, such a disgrace, they are judging that you are drunk without even having a sip of drink. I am a regular customer of this pub, but i ain’t coming back again. If they think we were drunk why would they let us in and serve us a drink, I am not coming back again to this pub again ever.

Cheap feed $20 for T-Bone steak, we all got under cooked steak but you get what you pay for

Good food, big portions. You'll have a big plate with steak and sides under $20 (Try their lamb chomps, T-Bone, mushroom gravy, and boscaiola pasta) Fast service. Cozy environment and close to public transport, great place to meet with peers if you're in a budget. Place has a lift to use. If you go with a car, you can park at westfield and walk to the Avondale.

I felt like I needed a shower after visiting this venue.... it was impossible to get a drink..

Popped in here for a quick drink and Wedges around 3pm. There was very few people watching the Sports. It was a nice and quiet place and staff were friendly. It seems people come here for the giant meals. I had Wedges, they were not bad, I prefer alot of crunch. Not a bad place for a quick drop in or their lunch menu if you are into big portions. The Wedges are not a large portion.

Fairly small pub, bistro. Food was served quickly, tasty, reasonably priced and good sized portions. If you like trains, there are a several seats where you can sit and see the train line at around track level - not much noise from the trains.

The garlic prawn spaghetti tastes normal,too much ground garlic! It's better to cook with garlic oil.

Nasty experience. The person who served me was extremely rude and aggressive. He actually refused to serve me and when I why he said I sounded funny. I asked to speak to the manager and Lo and behold he stated that he was the licensee! What a horrible experience!
