Great meeting place 😀

Rooms have adequate room, with a desk, but no old fashioned pad and pen. Location exceptional. Overall good value, and an assured quality.

The Hilton, is opposite the tram station, basically in Adelaide CBD, great cafe, dining and shopping. The Hilton staff are friendly, rooms are very clean, highly recommend

Service was excellent and the room was spot on. The executive lounge is a quiet place with pleasant atmosphere. The canapes and breakfast had a good selection of food and was a perfect way to end and start the day. Will definitely be back to do it again.

My 5th floor room wad like going back to the 90s! Certainly not up to what you expect from a Hilton in the century!

Less than expected. Concierge not in attendance. Higher end costs built on reputation only.

Perfect for a business trip

Yui checked us out, we wanted to leave our bags, she said just leave them at the counter I'll get them later. We were not really happy with leaving our possessions in the foyer with people around so we said could they not be put away now. Yui did put them away but was not happy doing it and was very annoyed with a lot of sighing and eye rolling. Yash on the other hand who checked us in could not have been nicer. I recall having pay for three nights which was about $800 but had to pay an extra 300 as a deposit which surprised me. We had trouble with my card as we did not plan for that. Yash was very patient and I had been travelling all day it was 11pm at night and my card didn't work. Wanted some almond milk so I could get a cup of tea and he said just to ring room service for it when I got to my room. Rang and they said they would bring it up to room 820, never came. I had to go to sleep no drink of tea, could not even have one in the morning when I woke up. The room was average nothing like I expected for the price. Melbourne and Sydney Hilton much better hotel, and service. It was cleaned well everyday and Yash was lovely but that was the extent of it. Would not stay there again. Yui was after I just payed 1200 for a three night stay and didn't get my milk. Would never happen in the other Hilton Hotels. PS. Could not adjust air conditioning either. Was just jammed on one thing.

Staff are very friendly and the place was very clean. Only issue was there was a hole in the ceiling in the shower which oddly suspicious

Lovely, inviting stay and beautiful rooms. Swim in the pool in the afternoon was a real treat. Great location, walking distance to everything we needed. Will stay again.

Was very nice, had a pool..soo that's nice. I was kind of expensive but $7 for room service tray pick up and $10 for a small can of coke from the mini bar is excessive. Buffet breakfast was amazing.

Standard Hinton hotel but let down by the noise of the new markets being constructed right next door.

24/1/24 - stayed 5 nights at the Adelaide Hilton. It’s our 3rd year in a row. Special thanks to ‘Yash’ for his wonderful service. He provided both requested room change (to experience a different hotel view), as well as an emergency sewing kit. We love kthe Adelaide Hilton, it has everything we need, the location is perfect and it has so much character✨ We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Adelaide. Special thanks to Tony and Simon at the front desk for their kindness and going the extra mile to make our stay so enjoyable. A shout out also to Pranav in the Executive Lounge for his terrific service. It was nice to see all staff talking up the services provided at the Hilton Adelaide, it indicates their pride in working for a great establishment.

It was marvellous my partner he surprise me , we were celebrating 2 month together finally ❤️😊

Great place to visit the city

Good for stay

Great location and friendly staff

I expected more because of the name and price

Wanted to order food and was forced to view all hotel information via a QR code on my phone. Tiny screen. Not 5 star , 3 star QR. Didn't order food .

So not Hilton

Sir There is NO way the vehicle was parked there for 3 hours... My husband was admitting me to hospital at 3.15pm and returned to hotel by 3.30pm The ticket for fine is marked 4.18pm My husband returned the keys to your concierge at around 4.45pm and wasn't advised at that time a fine had been issued Surely a check of the registration would have told you we were guests and our contact details revealed Please give your guests the benefit of the doubt next time and give them a call to rectify any issues The Hilton Adelaide called the Council yesterday to have our vehicle booked while parked outside the front entry We were guests there and I was in the Calvary hospital having surgery My husband was trying to sort times out to collect me before requesting the vehicle be returned to parking by valet parking

Very old bathroom and air-conditioning. Some Cutlery at the breakfast was dirty. Not Hilton quality.

Very grateful got free upgrade to King Hilton Deluxe, but the shower and air-conditioning wasn’t good enough.

Always stay here when in Adelaide, very central and i love that it is near the Adelaide Central Market, China Town and tram line out the front door. Short stroll to the city Rundle Mall.

On Christmas morn called in for a ground floor bar drink and heat escape.|No table service, no atmosphere, no reasonable service standard.|Thank heaven we were not paying for lunch.|This used to be a famous dining hotel with a famous chef that we enjoyed.

Went to the Hilton for an event on New Year’s Eve and it was amazing! Food was outstanding, service was spectacular (shout out to Mario and all the wonderful waiters who made our time memorable). Couldn’t have recommended a better place!

I have booked two double rooms for 8 nights stay for our Christmas family holiday but turn out is very disappointing stay here. Firstly, Walking into the room is very old smell room , need keep window open gets fresh air in. Bar fridge is very old make noise can’t sleep at night time. When you have a shower the water drainage is very bad, can see the shower bubble come from the other drain on the floor. Secondly, one Asia looking lady short hair wear glasses , don’t know her name at front reception is very rude and no respect to the guests. No hello and no smile. When I ask her for water and she said to me that we only have two bottles of water a day if you like more water she will charge me money for that. We done lots of travel and stay in Hilton in different cities no one said need charge money for water. When I ask her about umbrella for go out and she said needs write down my room number and make sure is returned. On the other days when I ask water and umbrella no one says anything and just give to us. Finally, the good thing about this hotel is location, it’s very central near the market and tram stops at cross roads easy to travel. From our experience not suggest any Asia looking stay this hotel in case get discrimination from the front reception lady. Not happy stay.

Let down on many features offered.

We stayed in a connected family room, and considering the Christmas period, it was well priced. Both rooms were clean and included either valet or self parking. All staff were very friendly and buffett breakfast included requests taken by chefs. Will return, thank you

We have stayed at the Hilton Adelaide many times before and have enjoyed our stay. We booked a night in January but unfortunately had a sudden death in the family, so were hoping to move our booking date by two days. We booked through Qantas and so they contacted the Hilton to see if they would move the booking without penalties under these special circumstances. The hotel declined. Very disappointed that they would decline this request and take our money at such a difficult time.

Room was pretty basic for 5 star.No need of big study desk for family in room, better would be having couch/sofa.Pool was nice but couldn't find any changing room. The views were good of Victoria square and the lighted Christmas tree and hills.Breakfast was great with lot of options.Parking was non existent and even on $25 per night the option was 350 m away and can only go inside one time.Better park nearby to Care epark or Wilson.

Good location, but they don’t have own parking which is inconvenient and the amenities are bit old.

Just checked in… Room is ok.. lots of scuffs and bumps.. concierge desk was not friendly

Overall a good stay. The hotel is a bit dated. The pool area was dirty.

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Adelaide. The hotel offers excellent amenities, comfortable rooms, and a fantastic location in the heart of the city. What truly made my experience memorable was the outstanding service from Yash, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. His professionalism and friendliness made a significant impact, and I’m grateful for his exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Stayed at this hotel for a night while heading to Kangaroo Island. It was mediocre. Front desk service was good but rooms need renovation. Grabbed coffee in the morning which was not good at all. Overall, not up to Hilton standards in my opinion.

Iconic building, a one-of-a-kind outdoor pool, a relaxed lounge vibe, and an excellent breakfast. I’ll give it that! However, the quality of Hilton rooms can vary significantly depending on the location. Unfortunately, this was the case for us in Adelaide. Our first night was a bit of a letdown as we discovered the rooms were quite outdated—something I wish I had known beforehand. Had I been aware, I might have reconsidered booking. That said, we had a good stay overall. A special shoutout to Yash at the reception for his exceptional service—it made all the difference!

$250 x 4 for a very average xmas lunch. First entrees good, desert jist ok, but the Pork and Steak were terrible, made my son and I feel sick and we couldnt finish either. Limited service too, the servers just deliver food, didn't seem to be interested in taking drinks orders or anything else. Feeling very ripped off. Look forward to my review response from David Wain General Manager, saying he's sorry about that and hoping we come again, but not actually doing anything about it.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Adelaide and had a pleasant experience overall. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, felt a little dated and could use a refresh to match the Hilton standard. However, the highlight was discovering the on-site tennis court—a great feature that added a fun and unique touch to the stay!Overall, it’s a solid choice for a visit to Adelaide, and I’d happily stay again, especially if the rooms get a little modern update in the future.

I always stay at the Hilton when visiting Adelaide, seems to be right of passage for me. But this time it seemed to have lost it a little. Check in was fine and the gentleman was polite and warm. Room was comfortable, but I thought they may have upgraded to having a USB charging point in the room, which seemed odd in this day and age not to have one especially staying in a Hilton. The complimentary water was a nice touch. Breakfast was a lack luster event, tables were dirty and not made up (lots of them), there was not enough staff and the ones that were working there seemed to be at the least unenthusiastic. Choices were good though and the quality of the food was also good. On check out was where I had the issue to be honest. Nothing I mean nothing, like how was your stay, did you enjoy your time in Adelaide. Just was please pay this bill and basically bugger off. I didn't say anything as that would not be polite, but it did annoy me somewhat. I suppose the checkout experience was my biggest issue overall.

Beautiful meal. Excellent location

Recently visited Adelaide for the Test Cricket with some friends. We found the Hilton very convenient to stay at - costs very reasonable, breakfast daily a real treat, and the hotel conveniently beside the tram line through the city.| Only a short stroll to the mall for shopping and also very close to the SACA ground if you decided to walk down each day.| All things being equal, we will come back and stay here again next year at the same time.

I stayed at the Hilton Adelaide for two nights. I was happy not to stay any longer in this hotel. It’s just not what you’d expect of a five star (Hilton) Hotel and it was my worst experience in this category of the brand. ||At arrival the reception was not staffed and you could only hear laughter from the backroom. So I had to wait several minutes to check in - maybe a bell would help ya. ||I already read the hotel has old rooms, but these comments were from 2023 so maybe the renovation thing was finished. So I booked a room in the app, which showed new room. Finally I was „upgraded“ to a King Size room. I have never ever seen such an old fashioned room in a Hilton hotel. The minibar had the oldest fridge I’ve ever seen. No, it was no cool retro fridge, just freakin old. |The room was tidy and clean though. Shout outs to carpenter: the old furniture is rock solid! ||Besides this the hotel has a decent gym, which is great for a hotel gym. ||As a Hilton gold member you get a free breakfast. Interestingly you need to pay an extra fee to order eggs. What a joke.. |As many others complained, there is only one coffee machine in the busy restaurant. It either requires maintenance or has a long queue. You can see how less the management cares about these reviews. So many people complain about thjs and it’s still not solved. Guys, you are running a five star hotel! ||I am used to be asked if everything was fine during checkout, which was not the case in this hotel. |Would never ever stay in this hotel again

Great location, but that is as good as it gets. Food - Chicken Club Sandwich, the breast was reheated overcooked chicken that was cold in places hot in others. I can’t believe Hilton would go to that level of desperation and there are far better ways of eliminating expenses. Service - Entitled staff/DM who have no interpersonal skills and speak to you like a dog. So pathetic that when I checked out I had a 30 min wait for ride, DM asked me put a shoe back on which I obliged. Then they must have thought I was sleeping as I could see they were talking about me which isn’t a great feeling. Then I was approached and told I can’t lie down to which I said I wasn’t and he then said half laying down. If it’s that much of an issue people lying back into the back pillow of lounge get rid of the sofa. Far bigger problems this Hotel should be focussing, not berating clients. I had been so polite my whole stay and besides 3 staff members in Club Lounge and Concierge are were great. Room - Junior Suite Level 13. Spacious cleanliness was sub-optimal. I don’t complain about that as I’m fussy but with the whole experience. The bathroom was poor example long black hair which isn’t going to kill me but people staying in Suite you need to go that next level! Overall the place is ageing so please keep in mind if you expect the equivalent of other 4 stars. Overall - I would not recommend this Hotel, it’s a blight on the Hilton brand. Rude staff really destroy an experience. The Sofitel Suites are superior and greater for money with staff going above and beyond. I really hope they fix it for the Hilton brand as it is and guests conversation in the lift were complaining about service etc so it’s obviously not a one off event. Very poor service and take back your faux Club Sandwich back to the Chef to go back it and reheat. It🤣

Good location and service ,but the hotel and rooms is old and outdated

Rooms were relatively large, clean, and had good workspace. My room luckily had a good view out over the square in front of the hotel. Room service was lovely, efficient, and not overly expensive. I found the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant to be very helpful and accommodating. While the hotel's lobby did have 1970s/80s vibes, this didn't impact the quality of the stay at all.

Stayed at the Hilton Adelaide many times. Always fantastic & consistent customer service, especially Peter & Charles in the executive lounge and Hugh at the concierge desk. The gym is large and modern and never too busy. A great stay and a great hotel team, thank you!

Great location situated about a 15-20 min walk from|All the Adelaide stores and shopping. The checkin staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very spacious too. ||The executive lounge (for Hilton Diamond members) was well maintained and had lots of options for breakfast and evening canopes. ||I will stay here again the next time I’m in Adelaide.

When we stay here, we usually book with business lounge access. The evening drinks & canapes are good & the service is excellent. Breakfast in the lounge is not so good, food slow being topped up & looking very jaded. Our room on the c 16th floor was clean & we had a bath. Reception staff were excellent & we had an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated

My family and I spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel for the Adelaide Christmas pageant weekend and we were not disappointed. Our ‘check in’ was seamless with the wonderful Emma who went above and beyond to ensure everything was in place including our spacious Victoria Square facing room. The buffet selection was amazing, as were the hotel facilities. We watched the pageant from the pool deck on level 2 and it was perfect. The hotel location is neatly adjacent to the tram stop and the central market which was thriving on Saturday. Our ‘check out’ on Sunday with the lovely Indriya was just as seamless as the ‘check in’ We honestly couldn’t fault our stay at the Hilton Adelaide, 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been staying at the Hilton Adelaide for work for a couple of years now. During my most recent stay, the bathroom flooded from water coming up from the drain. The hotel staff were unhelpful and did not even clean the bathroom. They would not entertain offering a change of room or any assistance other than someone plunging the drain. Despite trying to get some one to come clean the bathroom, no one was willing to do so. It’s the worst service that I’ve ever experienced at a hotel

Great location. Easy accessibility to the Tram. Wonderful staff especially Oscar Hong the guest service agent.

The room smelt like second hand cigarettes.

Breakfast was superb. Very convenient location. Recommend to stay.

Brilliant. Minutes from airport, CBD location, great staff, rooms and dining.

Worst function experience I've had in Adelaide. The makeshift bar couldn't keep up, even with less than 100 attendees, and then someone made the genius decision to limit people to one drink per person to make the situation worse. No taps in the room itself meant beers and mixers were just sitting there in jugs all night getting warm and flat. Table service was nonexistent. Food was awful. I hate wasting meat but I couldn't get through more than a third of that overcooked steak.

Really good location 👌 the rooms just need demolishing. They are ancient and our toilet was leaking. We reported the problem and it didn't get fixed twice. Shout out to Shen for doing nothing about it and sorry for inconveniencing her with the toilet. Emma was amazing with it completely different experience and sorted us out. Was jealous of our friends who stayed up at the marriot. Please renovate the place as it's in a great spot or let someone else build something nice there for people to stay in.

Older rooms but very convenient to town and Victoria square. Friendly staff and very quiet.

This place is starting to show its age. Clearly there's a refurbishment going on.

Great location!

Great location. Ticks all the boxes and will be our accommodation of choice for any future Adelaide visits. Tried so many looking for our go to place. Finally found it 😃

Is a old hotel but great location and all staffs were friendly

location location location

Rooms are old, especially washrooms, service not good for Hilton as other hotels much better, staff not very friendly and no smile always, the lounge was awful and miserable, disappointed this is Hilton hotel, I’m staying again here tonight but things never improved, always disappointed!!! They seems not belong to Hilton, staff never smile 😓

It is also close to my school

I have been coming here for years now and notice a decline in the quality of service and the experience. Construction noise next door has been ongoing and continues.. bring ear plugs. Under staffed resulting with poor in room services and dining experiences, with exception at dinner time. Warm/hot water is cool at best. Best part is location.

Went for a drink in the hotel bar. Disgusting. Dirty tables, no staff cleaning, dirty plates from previous customers just left there, was a quiet time too. Shameful for a so called 5* hotel. Pay attention guys

The building of both Hilton and Marriot Adelaide are actually a little old, so there are not many tech equipments. For example, you can hardly find any charging port besides the bed or in the bar. The rooms are clean and spacious, but sounds isolation is an issue for some rooms. Services are great. Both Hilton and Marriot Adelaide are located in the centre of Adelaide CBD. So if you are here for business, these hotels are great because many companies like PwC and Commonwealth are nearby. But if you are here for vacation, it is a little far from Rundle Mall, the main shopping street of Adelaide. For that case, Ibis Adelaide would be better - right behind Rundle Mall, cheaper, and their building is much newer (but most of their rooms are smaller).

We stayed for one night. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and updated, with a great view of the city. Close to the tram service, buses and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The service from the staff was great- no problem too big, polite, friendly and professional. The bonus was our complimentary wine and brownie. Thankyou - that was appreciated. Valet service was great and the Breakfast service was good.

The Hilton Adelaide is an excellent choice for a short stay, offering a blend of quality and convenience. The interiors are of high quality, featuring elegant decor and a meticulous attention to detail that creates a comfortable and inviting ambiance. The design elements are clearly well thought out, with carefully chosen touches that enhance the overall experience—from the tasteful furnishings to the cohesive color palette that brings a sense of calm and refinement. While the overall atmosphere did not entirely align with my personal preferences, it is important to note that this is a matter of individual taste. The hotel has a particular style that may resonate well with many guests, though it may not be to everyone's liking. During our stay, we experienced a few service-related issues, but I must commend the staff for their professionalism and responsiveness. Each concern was handled promptly and effectively, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. The genuine effort to resolve these issues contributed significantly to the positive nature of our stay. In summary, this is a remarkable hotel, notable for its high-quality interiors, attentive staff, and unique character. It possesses the distinctive charm and cool factor of a boutique establishment, making it a memorable choice for those who appreciate a stylish and well-crafted stay.

Very good food, drink, service accommodation and facilities.

Does Hilton Adeliade not accommodate breastfeeding mothers? My wife and I checked in at the reception carrying a bag of breastmilk for our baby back home. As a Hilton Diamond member, we asked for a room with a freezer to properly freeze the breastmilk and were told that the rooms may not come with a freezer and the receptionist was not keen to check which room has a freezer. We asked for help to freeze the breast milk and the reception refused to keep breastmilk frozen on our behalf. It's outrageous that Hilton Adelaide has this attitude towards breastfeeding mothers.

Hotel is in a desperate need of a refresh as the rooms are dated for its price point. At check-in the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned, with what appeared to be talcum powder on the toilet and toilet paper roll. The shower couldn’t switch from rain shower head to the hose, and the carpet was old with marks on it. 5-10 years ago, I used to travel to Adelaide each month on business and almost exclusively stayed at the Hilton, but I feel that they may be lost their touch. On a positive note, it’s a great location and it was nice to see some familiar faces at the concierge.

Fase check in veloce, bravi i concierge, posizione centrale in città e camere pulite e spaziose. Noi lo abbiamo usato per una notte come appoggio per un volo da Adelaide..il servizio prendi e riconsegna la macchina per il parcheggio è ottimo, preciso e puntuale.

The hotel is greatly located in the center of downtown close to the tram, bus and Federal Market. The restaurant, is connected, has too fancy and limited menu with overprice, but the bar has simple menu for food and drinks. Their website gallery shows a pic of laundromat, but found out there is no laundry room in the hotel.

good!

Nice place to stay. Drinks were expensive A glass of champagne ( on special) was $ 25.00 I fined that excessive. Room was clean.
