We had a disappointing experience at Officeworks due to the rude behaviour of a staff member named Daniel. We were waiting for assistance and called out to him politely twice, saying, “Excuse me, excuse me.” Instead of responding kindly, Daniel replied in a very rude manner, saying, “I am serving another customer; you have to wait.” What made this even more frustrating was that there didn’t seem to be anyone else he was assisting at the time. If he was genuinely busy, he could have simply acknowledged us and let us know in a polite way that he would assist us shortly. This lack of basic courtesy was very unprofessional and left us feeling unvalued as customers. We hope Officeworks can address this issue to ensure better customer service in the future.

Corey was an awesome team member that came up and offered to help me when I was having trouble using self service printing for the first time. Nothing was too much trouble and he personally printed the multiple documents I was there for, also with the help of other friendly and knowledgeable staff members when needed. He really turned my day around with his positive energy and willingness to go above and beyond, I seriously appreciate it and hope he sees this. Thank you!

Such a weird store, with strange team members who did nothing but follow my daughters and I around the store. My older daughter had to push her little sister around the store in a pram because she was crying and 2 team members were lurking behind her as if they needed to watch and monitor her. Such weird behaviour. one guy came to monitor me in the isle so I asked him for help (since he wants to help me shop) and he could not have been more disinterested in my enquiry; he started yawning. You can’t just assume the worst in people all the time. Please do better and act more professionally with all your customers. Weirdos.

So, I walked into Officeworks on a mission to find clipboards. Went to the counter, asked the girl there, and, well... let’s just say she had no idea where they were. But no worries, because the legend standing next to her—Jaydn, I think his name was—stepped in like a true hero. He knew exactly where they were, aisle and all. Honestly, he probably should be running the place. Then came the real challenge: printing. Look, I had no idea what I was doing, but thankfully, Reilly came to the rescue. This guy was *on it*. He explained everything, made it easy, and looked like he actually enjoyed his job (which is rare these days). Honestly, someone give him a raise—he's earned it. Now, there was a bit of a moment where another customer (who was hard to understand) needed help, and Reilly stepped in. But hey, credit where it’s due, he got the job done when I couldn’t even figure out what she was saying. Kudos to him for that one. All in all, 5-star service from Jaydn and Reilly—absolute champions. If you’re at Officeworks and need help, find these two. They’ll sort you out (and give you a good laugh along the way).

Very Unhelpful Staff.

Corey was an amazing person who greeted me in store today he was approachable and lovely. He then served my husband and I. While we were at the checkout he spoke to other staff and asked them to help with customers who needed help. The other staff members were rude they just kept doing what looked like nothing and ignored Corey. He was very professional when I acknowledged how rude his fellow work mates were. He asked politely a couple of times and he was ignored. If it wasn’t for the other staff members being rude I would have left a five star rating because that is what he deserves. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ these are for Corey.

Having just had to print photos and emails and not tec savvy at 65, Jeshua was so helpful and encouraging. I felt confident enough to try to print on my own after his help. While doing so I noticed he went out of his way to help anyone that looked perplexed. This is a great team

So, I can no longer ring a store to get information on a product.

I went into this shop today 25/10 to have some photos printed for a friend for Christmas, the two male assistants that helped me and my husband were absolutely great nothing was to much trouble, so pleased with my photos of my friends’s two beautiful dogs. Thank you to you both.

I am always so stressed trying to print my own copies or photos while in store but Kat went above and beyond with her product knowledge, customer care and just down right amazing to talk to! I'm sure the whole team are great too but definitely recommend this store if you are a bit unsure with technology as they will talk you through it without making you feel dumb as well which is always a plus 😁 major 20/10 kat! Keep up the amazing work and just being you 👏 🥰

Good service helpful staff

Very big and has a lot of appliances and materials. I love testing out the pens; a fun time for all (or as fun as a stationery store can get)

I visited today for passport size photo copy. One man helped me but I wanted digital copy and I didn’t get it for an hour. I was anxious over phone but that man helped me. Thank you so much. I don’t know his name but he is amazing person. Sorry if I was rude. Thank you a lot.

Strange store, some team members are fantastic and an asset others are their for a pay check and refuse to do their job. We have some cards printed on a type of paper, looks great. Went back for more and told that they simply have no way to do such a thing as that paper isn't usable for printing. So we have magic cards that they can't make from them. Strange place.

15 minutes before the store closed one man worker come to us (after we 15 min try self-service for printing) and said we have 5-10 min for print our photos. After 1 min other woman worker came and said the printer closed now and we can't to print today, come tomorrow. She didn't try to help us, just said come tomorrow. In shop still was many people, but we left it. My child Is very disappointed.

Absolute fantastic service today by Corey, helped my daughter & I with questions. But overall his customer service was 100% 👍👍 there should be more like him around

Worst printing quality and service in Australia! Consistently have to get things reprinted here which is a huge waste of time and resources. If reprinting their errors isn’t bad enough Kat brings attitude to the table making it a horrible experience as well

I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop from the Parafield Gardens store for my son's high school needs and paid $1400, The laptop touchpad stopped working and I went to the store today spoke with Matt requested a loan device while the current one was for repair and the request was rejected said they don't do the loan anymore. My son all term assignments due this Friday and he is so stressed out about how will be he will do all his classwork. The school does not support and allow Bluetooth device mouse. It's easy to say no without any human consideration. I read the return policy if any major faults they should be refunded or returned.

Dont bother ordering anything online, they give you one date for arrival in store then it's 2 weeks later.

This place is so amazing. First of all - it's huge. The range is awesome and they can print basically anything. But mainly, the guy working in printing is the coolest and nicest person ever. I wish I knew his name but he is the tall guy with some tattoos on his arms and he has a pin with Tails the Hedgehog. Someone there needs to tell him how awesome he is, always so helpful and so friendly! I first spent a hundred dollars or so printing some posters but have been back repeatedly since then because the experience is just so good. Thanks all - especially the friendly tall guy!

I went to take a passport size photograph, when inquired at the front desk team member felecia informed me that their camera was broken and asked me to travel to Elizabeth officeworks, while i went in and inquired from another team member, she helped me take picture in the same place and printed it out for me. This is a negligence of duties by certain team members which brings down poor customer service quality.

worst customer service ever

Absolute rubbish down there I purchased a Acer 3 aspire 5 core laptop from them it cost me over $1,100 They offer a 30-day exchange or change of mind policy. Whilst I thought that 30-day policy was great I knew I had that protection if the unlikely event I didn't like the laptop and it was too slow etc. As it has been very very many years since I have purchased a computer or a laptop The last computer system I have ever used is Google software like Chromebook and Windows 8. I actually have intellectual learning difficulties I find it hard to operate this new Windows 11 Microsoft software stuff and can't get my head around it I've had the laptop for 1 week which is well in that 30 day time frame and the blokesdown there because of one little tiny scuff mark small and thinner than my pube he won't refund it law an absolute flog of a move

I rang with a technical problem on a computer still under warranty. Nam the assistant was great and very patient with my technical skills to solve the problem. He offered some great advice and eventually the problem was solved. Great customer service. Thanks Nam!

Just been to Parafield,an staff pleasant an helpful..but I have t say,having birthday cards on low shelf ,right where you pay,is not at all helpful or easy to access!,due to traffic coming through..would have probably bought more cards,but felt I was in the way of other customers

A big shout out to Kirby in the printing section! She went above and beyond helping me and other customers around me! She deserves a raise and a bonus.. she was awesome 👌

I went here yesterday to buy tablets for my grandkids, I found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful as I don’t have a great deal of technical knowledge. All in all I was happy with the experience and my grandkids were extremely happy with their tablets. I would recommend this place to my friends.

We love the size of the Officeworks at Parafield and always seem to come out with more than we intend to buy. They have such a wide range of useful and unique things. The kids range of toys and games is good and the prices reasonable. It’s a great places to find unique presents also with different kits of things to do and games etc.

Closed before actual time, I could do a lot in 10min.

Extremely disappinted with what the store manager did on 27.11.2023. Wanted to buy Galaxy S23 FE which was sold by some other store cheaper. He was excited to help is until then but when we asked him price match him he started drama. He had hell lot of excuses not to price match. Such a incompetent person. Doesnot care about customer. He said no one in Officework will price match. We later went to officework Prospect and the very supportive staff there easily price matched us (no drama at all). I dont know what made him manager. Bery poor fellow.

I would like to thank Amanda who gave me 5 star customer service today. Helping me with something I knew nothing about. She definitely made up for the young guy who first approached me, and just said...oh, they are over there ! No help at all.

Gaby was a great help. I come in for some urgent booklets printing. It was a busy night with very limited staff. Gaby ensures I have all my questions answered and organised my booklets to be printed and collected. Couldn't be happier with her services.

Came to this place to copy driving licence The people who work here asked me to scan and refuse to scan it for me. I tried multiple time to use the printer and spent first 3 $ without getting job done and wasted 10 papers then asked for help and the worker came and couldn't do it after trying 4 times and finally did it after spending another 3 $ from my card a d 6 papers. Never in officework again

Thank you so much Madi, for the help you gave us when we ordered 80 booklets. You went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble for you. I also spoke with someone else over the phone who was equally as helpful but unfortunately didn't grab her name. Definately recommend

I would much rather be served at a front counter like I have always had done… For prints that normally take a minute. When the employee has no customers to deal with, standing there twiddling thumbs and your still to be sent to the self serve to print off a handful of resumes! What it takes to put money over to a usb/card takes longer than to print at front counter! What’s the point of even employing staff in the first place 🤬😡

Great service at Parafield Gardens today! The day had gotten away from me and I realised I hadn’t yet called into Office Works to print some images I needed. At the printing station I had received an error message. It was 4:30pm and as I am technically challenged, I requested assistance at the service desk. I was super relieved to be promptly served by Renee who was so friendly and helpful. Instead of referring me back to the station with instructions, she did not hesitate to go above and beyond to assist me and took only a couple of minutes to print and process payment for me. I’m sure Renee would have had other duties to complete before close, so I’d appreciate it greatly if you could pass on my feedback to the store manager and my thanks again to Renee for her assistance.

Plenty of stock with everything you need office wise. Printing service is fast and staff are experienced!

Disrespectful customer service

Just don't get why taking out a print out needs to be such a hard task. I am relatively young and found taking some printouts from here to be such a cumbersome process. Can't imagine how your elderly customers manage through it. I am buying a printer to avoid coming here for print outs again.

Fantastic service at Officeworks Parafield today. Madi was so helpful and patient helping us with the photo kiosk. Madi is definitely a great asset to Officeworks!
