Sales staff were excellent and informative and were very knowledgeable and did not try to oversell a better product than what we reuired

Absolutely useless! Called them up and told them about a faulty monitor. All she asked was when it was purchased and to come into store and see what they could do. Half hour drive later to the store, there were more staff in store than customers but somehow everyone was INCREDIBLY busy 🤦‍♂️ After waiting a while, ended up talking to the same girl and she went through the system only to realise my $400 monitor is out of warranty by 4 months so I would either have to pay an indeterminate amount to fix it or buy another one (which she seemed very excited about 🤑). Thanks for completely wasting my time. We will no longer be doing business together and I will consider whether I should consult Australian Consumer Law in this situation 🤔

Extremely bad customer service. Rang to enquire about replacement battery for vacuum cleaner which said on line they stocked. Spent 10mins waiting on line to speak to some one after the 3rd person could not help. After ringing back got a really rude sales girl. Tried to tell her my query. She simply said. We don't sell them and hung up on me.. Bad guys not Good guys.

Book iPad Air on Boxing Day sale ,after long wait but no one care in store, no one provide any solution just said still waiting for stock No time frame

This is a large store in the Gepps Cross Homemaker centre, selling whatever appliance you need. The service is good, as best as can be expected for a high volume store. Bulk collection is at the offsite warehouse in St Clair. At the warehouse parking area. Park facing outwards towards the kerb.

I almost had a terrible day at The Good Guys Gepps Cross, but fortunately, everything turned out well in the end, thanks to the great help from one of their best salespeople, Pratik. There was an issue at the cashier's desk where one of the cashiers refused to accept our Gold Service Vouchers because we didn't have their membership program installed in my digital wallet, even though they could see that the vouchers were still active and ready to use on my profile. We already tried to download the Store Cash app as recommended but the system never sends me the sms to install the app. We were about to give up on the vouchers that we earned from previous purchases since we didn't want to deal with the hassle. However, Pratik, the gentleman who had been assisting us in selecting our products, returned to the cashier's desk, escalated the issue to the store manager, and everything was resolved in the end. Overall, this store has always been our favorite place to shop for our home, and we will definitely return in the future. However, it would be helpful if the cashier staff we encountered today could be a bit more supportive and focus on finding solutions rather than blaming customers for not having the membership in their digital wallets and stopping the service. In the end, we are all human, and while we may have bad days, let's help each other make life easier. Many thanks.

Wanted to buy an item. Was told you can buy it now and you can get the item later when we get a fresh batch. Good guys would notify us. We check in periodically. Not in stock. After a”more than a month we visit the store again. We were told in store that the item would not come back in stock. Essentially fooled into buying an item the store had no intention of restocking and was never notified that item would not be restocked. Feels like very shady sales/ marketing tactics.

Customer service was amazing! Bought a dishwasher from Jamshed who was very helpful and happy to explain through any questions I had . Staff at the counter were all lovely which can be difficult after dealing with so many people especially during the busy Christmas/boxing day period, but they were all still super friendly and smiley! I called back today with a question and spoke with a sales rep named Jin who was also just super helpful and after looking at my order went a step further and saw that the installation for my order hadn't been booked so he called me back and organised it all for me and it will now arrive even quicker than anticipated. Nothing entices me more to come back to a store and become a repeat customer as much as good customer service and so far, Good Guys Gepps Cross has certainly ticked that box!

I recently purchased a Dyson V15 vacuum from your Gepps Cross store. After using it on the same day, we immediately noticed that the battery was depleting very quickly. We had to recharge it every 10 minutes, which is highly inconvenient and not what we expected for an $800 vacuum. When we brought the issue to the attention of the store manager, he checked the vacuum for only five minutes and concluded that there was no fault.How can you decided in 5 minutes.He then refused to offer an exchange or any solution. Additionally, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive, which was both shocking and frustrating. As a loyal customer since 2015, this is the first time I’ve had such a negative experience with your store. I expected better service and support for a significant purchase like this.

Absolute ridiculous customer service. Sold me appliances with $6,000 and said it will be delivered in 2 weeks. It's been more than a month and now excuses after excuses, saying some of the appliances will come next year. You guys already have my money, lied to me, just to sell the products, now making me wait forever to get them.

Called to enquire about our warranty on a vacuum, still under warranty, was told to bring it in. Brought it in (obviously clean and emptied) to then be told that we are not entitled to a new one as we bought the more expensive vacuum (if you buy a vacuum under $500 you are entitled to a replacement) and to clean the head and scrub the inside of the ball then they can send it off for repairs. Waste of time and they should train their staff answering the phones properly and to give out all information.

Some workers need to go back to customer service school as some really sink with their manners each customer is a customer no matter how busy you get

Advertised freezer not in stock and they don’t know when it will be available. Poor customer service. You lost a sale, I bought the freezer from Harvey Norman

Thank you to the angel team member who saw an 8 month old pregnant lady with 3 yr old twins in the worlds longest line on Saturday, and checked out my soda stream from her hand held machine. I was so grateful ☺️

Fantastic experience. I had got the TV that I wanted in a matter of 10 minutes. Thanks for the fantastic customer service from Hunain who knew so much about the TV and was very helpful and honest. Much better than JB's I was waiting there for an hour and 15 minutes for somebody to talk to me poor service down there way to realaxed staff that laughed once I complained .

Customer service there isn't any, delivery mishap 2 different dates sent. On hold for half an hour, passed to one person to another., then because they couldn't solve problem they hung up.

Has to be the worst customer service you can possibly imagine. Order something online and pay. Once it's ready you go to the location they tell you to go to pick it up you are then sent to 4 other locations and no one seems to have any idea what you are talking about. Would recommend one of the other retailers not these guys

I had a great experience with staff member Paul B. Assisted to purchase washing machine and fridge. Helped us to go through good details of different brands. He showed interest and put effort to keep the customers. Excellent customer service.

Waited 3.5hrs for new fridge delivery. Called them to ask since the delivery is very late. Lady said she would call me back soon after checking on ETA. 1hr later, she still didnt call me back. So, I called them back, they told me to wait more for a text message. Told them to reschedule as I've already had lots of my time wasted. No apology was given.

My family went to Goodguys Jepps cross to buy at TV today. Unbelievable we could not get service. Waited 40 mins for a salesman who was to busy with a couple from Sydney who could not purchase. Bad joke couldn't get served unheard of and ended up leaving driving to another store Not good guys.

This company gave the worst customer service ever ,my 91 year old mother purchased a TV over the phone with help ,and the payment had not gone through, she was not notified or contacted ,so after she waited a week for the TV to turn up ,she called them to be told they couldn't find the order ,eventually found and she was distressed by this .so she paid for the product and $200 for installation and had to wait another week to receive it . Once installed it was not tested by installation personnel and when they left it would not work via the remote. She contacted to company only to be told to bring it into the store, and the installationpeopleonly install, they do t care if it works or not. Again she is 91 and not able to drive ,so she had find someone to bring it in to get a replacement, absolutely disgusting behaviour by the staff and manager ,no one was willing to come and help her at all . She or i will never be using this or any other good guys again Disgraceful

Great customer service from Kelly W yesterday. I ran out of carpet Bissell wash for my carpet to use in my Bissell machine. Kelly knew exactly which ones were dedicated for it and knew the product specs very well. Please pass on my thanks directly to her and her manager - keep up the great work Kelly.

Bought a dryer and paid for their installation services on top because my father is elderly and I am disabled. Two drivers come and refused to put the dryer on top of a small freezer ( which was the same height as the our washing machine), or the stackable washing machine. It was odd in the beginning I thought because they never bothered even getting the new one out and the second guy never got out of the truck until the first guy went back to him. Instead of leaving our new dryer with us they took off without so much as a word WITH our new dryer. I was waiting for a racist card being flung back because they were a pair of Indians. This is THEFT btw. Under the theft act a person is guilty of theft if they dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it. I won't ever buy from The so called good guys ever again. Plus you lot were done in court recently by the ACCC. Better start sacking people doing illegal things. Still haven't received my money back either.

I'm appalled with the lack of customer service by the Goodguys at Gepps Cross. I got stared and looked down at before being rudely asked if I needed assistance. Even after that; what I thought was assistance, was just a brush off saying assistance is coming. After waiting minutes, I looked around the floor and saw 6 consultants were standing and just staring at me just meters away. I decided to walk out the store and gave my feedback to front desk on exit. Thanks Harvey Norman Gepps Cross for the $2k worth of security CCTV camera i purchased off you. Goodguys missed on a sale because they were too busy judging rather than assisting everyone or anyone. I won't be shopping at the Goodguys ever!

I really had a good shopping experience in Hectorville last time. However, I purchased in Gepps cross today, I just want to know more about the after sell promotion and discount with the cashier staff, the staff in cashier is so rude and she just called me to check by myself through their apps. I asked her can she teach me how to do it and she was rude and called me check myself in the app again. She had no patient with the customer and she was not helpful! I won’t go that shop again! A bad shopping experience!

I purchased a television that is on back order. They told me that it would take 2-3 weeks before the TV would arrive, but it has been almost a month now. I have called them a couple of times to follow up, but they still do not know when they will receive their stock.

I'm baffled by all the reviews saying they couldn't get any assistance in this store. We had the opposite problem. The staff (too many staff) were so overbearing it was freaky. Constantly pestering us asking if they could help while we looked at various appliances. After saying no thanks, we're just browsing, they would continue to stand near us and interject into our conversations. I noticed one staff member following us around the store watching us, presumably to try and jump in and land himself a sale at the very second we might decide we were ready. It honestly was like we were being hunted. Do yourself a favour and go to jb hifi, good guys prices were good but jb will price match them for you, and they won't stalk you for a sale.

Ordered a fridge waited a month extra then I was told to recieve it. Once i received the fridge it was damaged so I currently have my food in esky and over the bench top with my old fridge in another room and no new fridge as theyve taken it back to store. I call up to bring this to their attention. There's no offer of rectifying this issue besides another morning wasted waiting for another fridge. I was literally about to buy a laptop for daughter's schooling. After these 2 incidences and no offer of rectifying with any store credit after all my food is currently out unrefrigerated is disgusting. This is time consuming 2 mornings for a fridge and we just have to wait around again for delivery. Cheers good guys

Just wanted to be heard and listened to and you did just that. You were very professional and acknowledged my frustrations so thank you for reaching out.

The instore service is great however delivery service is abysmal. Twice they have taken my things away. The last time they took the products away quoting 10cm gap between the walkway and driveway. They were even ready to leave a fridge, tv, washing machine and drier on the road. It is high time they change their delivery service. God knows when they will deliver.

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Claudio during my visit, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service I received. From the moment I approached Claudio for help he greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and was happy to be of assistance. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products, patiently answering all my questions and offering insightful suggestions and helped me pick the perfect coffee machine. I had friends over and they all complimented the coffee, thanks Claudio!

Bought a Bosch dishwasher to be installed today 14th August, no aftersales customer service passed the buck attitude. I have requested my installation fee to be refunded as I've wasted a days leave chasing the issue. Happy to take your $ but after that point no care in customer service or time wasted. After numerous calls it's being installed today, but attitude stinks and no resolution skills. In future my purchases will be with another competitor.

Very disappointing with the after Sales service after purchasing a Bosch Dishwasher and having it booked it to have installed on Wednesday and having to arrange to time off from work to be home. With no one turning up or any follow up with us having to chase up with Good Guys basically passing the buck that its not their problem but their contractors. With after number of phone calls being told installation would be Friday. Not Happy at all !!!

I have been introduced to this store by a client who goes regularly. Each time we have been it is extremely difficult to get any kind of customer service. Staff at the front counter call for someone over their obnoxiously loud speaker (which triggers my client's sensory issues and mine also). We came in yesterday to return a faulty radio. We were waiting 15 minutes for someone to help us while there were multiple staff at the front counter not serving customers. We were told to wait in a particular area and then told to move away from that area from another staff member. My client was getting anxiously nervous which brought on her IBS issues. We went to the toilet and came back to only be told to wait longer. Once finally seen, the gentlemen confirmed the refund so we headed back to the front desk, only to be told that my client wouldn't recieve a refund for the 'extended warranty' which they advised is not an extended warranty and is active from the date of purchase and refund for this can only be done within 30 days of purchase. Not only was my client not advised of this when purchasing the radio, they could not tell me WHERE in the brochure given to my client this was stated. Staff Member CLAUDIO decided to put his two sense in and discuss with me why there is no refund but still couldn't show me where this is stated. We asked to speak to the manager and surprisingly enough CLAUDIO is a manager. This person can definitely work on their customer service skills (which I thought a manager would already be trained in) as he continuously cut me off during our conversation and had the most unpleasant tone with me (slightly raising your voice does not get your point across better) The lady processing the refund advised she was having computer issues and the refund could not be processed until her IT team contacted her (she had been on the phone to them for 7 minutes) We left and got a call back 15 minutes later to be told the refund could now be processed so we had to make our way back , wasting more time and my petrol. My client was absolutely beside herself when we left the store. I will also be requesting a 30 minute payment for my client's booked shift with me for completely wasting our time. There was a huge line up of customers awaiting service during our time there with a number of staff apparently unavailable. My client has spent a lot of money at this store and you have lost a valuable customer. I strongly suggest ALL staff at this store are trained in customer service importance. I will not be returning to this store ever again and neither will my client.

The level of customer service is abysmal, to the point where giving it a single star seems generous. Certain staff members display consistent rudeness, wearing perpetual grimaces as though they despise their work. I have no intention of returning to that store ever again.

Worst service ever Sunday 28/4/24, you expect to wait on a Sunday but 9 girls at check out and time to put lip gloss on really! Mean while the one man in electrical is trying to help everyone. Pathetic won’t be back

I have to say the in-store customer service is amazing. However trying to phone them about your order is a nightmare. You get told that all their remarkable staff are too busy or you've phoned out of hours. Very frustrating especially when it's definitely not out of hours

Ordered a product through click and collect. Recieved confirmation that it was ready to collect. Went to the store to pick it up and spent 45 minutes waiting, only to be told the product wasn't in stock and was refused an immediate refund (was told the refund would take multiple days). As a customer, I've had my money taken and recieved nothing, and then am told that if I want my money back, there'll be a wait? Absolutely unacceptable practice from a company like this. I will never be shopping with, or recommending anyone ever shop with The Good Guys, again. This experience has made me all the more glad that international companies like Amazon will continue to put Australian retailers like this out of business. Such a shame we have to go overseas for even half decent service. You reap what you sow.

Terrible service at Cashier Desk by staff name Anisa( I don’t know if I pronounce it correctly) .I came there 2 weeks ago to buy a Dyson Vacuum and She was so rude and having very bad manners. She was chewing the gum in her mouth, and one’s arms folded . She didn’t even say hello or thank you to me as a customer spending thousands at the Good guys. She shouldn’t be there seriously. 👎👎👎👎
