If I could I would give it 0 stars, Ive been coming to this venue for a while now with no issues ,Until NOW ,I have never been treated so arrogantly and rude by a staff member, who's name is CHETAN !!!! I came with a friend here and had a bit of a play in the pokies to try our luck , when we finished we asked for a complimentary coffee ,but was denied off one. I have never had this issue before , exceptionally when we put money in a pokie machine and then don't receive a complimentary coffee when you ask , which is in there policy. I have never felt so disgusted and disappointed with this venue and I suggest to also beware of the new workers that are employed here , I can't believe they still have there jobs if I was manager would fire him immediately, I will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN and will take my business elsewhere MANY PUBS OUT THERE TO GO TO SO PLEASE BEWARE DON'T GO HERE 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This quiet and very dignified hidden gem I found to be relaxing with real Aussie , vibe the staff were polite & respectful even the manager come out of his way just have conversation with me for a good 10 minutes while still achieving his duties .MATT was his name decent hard worker . So glad I found avenues cafe&bar in more ways than one.!!!

Worst place to spend your time and money, absolute waste. You get smoked on, the staff are horrible and the food is disgraceful. Go woke go broke

Used to be regular. They refuse to put air curtain from the smoking area , so every time a smoker goes outside it stinks out the whole joint. Might as well be smoking again. As a ex smoker it was extremely difficult to quit. I don't want to be breathing in that poison air. I'm not sure how the health department isn't onto of this.

Decided on a quick meal on the way home from watching the grand final with friends. What a treasure to find! Staff were 10 out of 10, friendly, helpful and efficient! Our meals were delivered promptly, allergy problem resolved and were delicious and well presented. The bonus of a seniors discount very much appreciated. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the restrooms. They could definitely be improved!

My friend and I ended up here at 3pm on a Friday as very little is opened in Adelaide between 2-5pm. The staff were INCREDIBLY friendly, helpful and personable. All we are was calamari and hot chips, but they were fresh and really nicely prepared. Average wine list. Parking was amazing. I think the 3 stars is simply for the atmosphere. It was CLEAN, just has an old school, 'nana/pokies' feel. For this reason, not my first choice for lunch or dinner, but for a later afternoon snack, it's a decent spot. The staff really made up for the feel of the place, too ☺️

I love my weekly visit to the Avenues Bar &Café. I get there before lunch so I start with a must, a steaming hot mug of coffee. The beans they use have a nice roast, not at all bitter and very smooth. The staff are very friendly and not at all formal and stiff. The menu is well thought out with of variety. It's not excessive with too many choices, thankfully!

We were at the tavern last night celebrating my wife's birthday. We enjoyed great customer service from the two staff members on duty the steaks were one of the best we ever had. Many thanks to Bruce's meats for the meat raffle their leg ham and other meats are legendary. Thanks to all involved appreciated.

It's ok . Has a lot of people fooled. Some over described fancy foods on the menu . But hectic at times , can be a bit loud and uncomfortable .. but it's pretty popular . For some crowds who like fancy tags on their food and coffee . Basic food done fairly well moderate pricing . Some staff great . Some arrogant . Depends who you get . Overall it's ok

Had dinner here tonight 22/03/2022 and was so happy and surprised to see a new fresh menu change. ordered the chicken parmy and the lemon and garlic chicken and the taste was amazing For me my chicken snitty had nice crunchy yet soft crumbs sizing was amazing am going to post photos to the snitty appreciation page For my partner her lemon and garlic chicken was beautiful prepared with nice juicy chicken breasts covered in plenty of garlic lemon sauce I also had the pleasure of meeting Chef corey tonight and was able to tell him that I'm loving the food that his pushing out and that I'll be recommending this establishment to my friends

Never again. Ordered coffee and cake. Received coffee in a few minutes....10 minutes later asked where our cake was, to be told it's on its way.....half hr after receiving coffee we asked 2nd time for our cake...to be told they were very busy and it's coming. there were only 3 tables with 2 People at each. Not impressed...😑

Beer was not refreshing. The Pirate Life and Coopers Pacific Pale Ale had a sour taste. The 3 of us agreed that they did not taste like they normally do.

The food was amazing. The staff are very friendly. I recommend the Avenues Cafe and Bar.

My family and I have eaten here many times since moving into the area 5 years ago. Every meal has been excellent and the staff are professional, polite and very helpful. The prices are very competitive.

Avenues-:Coles store. Is a good size store. Friendly staff. Parking 3hours. Read all signs when Parking as there are different signage.

Decently large gaming room open late with relaxed service.

Very disappointed. My steak was overcooked and the salads and sidelines not up to scratch for the cost.

Me and my friends first time in this cafe. We were looking to have a lunch before going to the next shop to check wedding dress. Our first option was the Shushi Train but there was a line up. We ended up going to this Cafe. Glad we had our lunch there. I love the outdoor seating with garden type ambience. I ordered Haloumi Salad and my 2 friends ordered Salt and Pepper Squid both had big servings we thought we could not finish but they were so delicious ended up empty plates. I also enjoyed the big mug coffee, it was taste beautiful. We are very lucky, we have so many local stand alone restaurants that serving good food and drinks.

We were incorrectly charged $75 for a beer and glass of wine. Very unhelpful trying to figure out how to get a refund, promises of a manager calling us back with nothing. Definitely won't go back.

A bit disappointed I couldn't have avocado on a toasted sandwich when I was there earlier. Only because they use avocado in main dishes. They couldn't put avocado on a sandwich.

Best tiramisu I have ever had! Great service and friendly staff.

A great location for our little family catch ups. Small and quiet, it's comfortable for our older members. An easy menu to navigate, food is sensational and well priced, service is excellent.
