Nakia & the team at The Joiners were fantastic! I had my 60th there & nothing was too much trouble, Nakia went out of her way to ensure it was a great nite! The food was hot & very tasty & the drinks cold! The beer garden was a fantastic venue to have a party & a band! Would highly recommend them!!!

Great pub, good menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff.

Even on a busy night it should not have taken almost 1 1/2 hours for food to be served. The burger not only looked unappetising, but was under cooked (they offered to make another one but we didn’t have time after the initial long wait, and opted for a refund). Requested no onion jam on the steak sandwich, and it came with it (whilst i appreciate it was a a busy night, if the kitchen doesn’t accept special orders we should have been told up front). We won’t return.

Concert and soccer night so busy BUt they would know that so how do you run out of fish? Generally food is good but tonight it was dry and tasteless. Bar service good but food service shit! Sorry but just being honest.

Don’t order the chicken burger look at the photos. This pub does too many walk ins due to the closeness of soccer and entertainment centre. But the food is low quality but passively. Low star review to flag to people

We came on a Sunday night. We ordered the dips, chicken schnitzel, beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce and a pork belly salad. The pita bread was stale, the guacamole was hard and not mashed The beef schnitzel was raw and the sauce was in the smallest jug. The pork belly came with two big pieces and they were all chewy fat the little meat I could find was so chewy I had to spit it back out. We complained and sent the beef schnitzel and pork belly back, they offered to make it again but serving raw inedible food we did not want anything else.

Came here because the Gov was closed. Unfortunately, blandest burrito bowl of my life for $27… Used unseasoned white rice. Staff were sweet though.

Some staff we nice, Some were just a bit rude. Had the chicken schnitzel, it was pretty good and fairly priced. Alcohol selection was pretty choice though. Music playing was bang on, and at a great volume that was audible but didn't overbear conversation. Decent location just let down slightly by hit and miss staff.

Shame the staff are so rude here. It’s a good spot to stop in before going to entertainment centre. But never again. Same person who spoke to us twice was really hating life. Rude about wanting change for pokies from bar as their machine wasn’t working then rude when we entered the bar from pokies side which apparently was roped off for a private function but no signage to show this until you get to the other side and see a small sign taped to the bar. Just unnecessary. Yep we were in wrong spot but a bit of tact wouldn’t go a stray.

Went to an 80th - it was great, efficient friendly staff & the band was excellent

Excellent service, great atmosphere and highly recommend the delicious Caesar Salad and salt and pepper squid salads.

Whilst staff member was very polite, and the beer and other drink selection was good, the food was well below par…schnitty’s appeared to be re-heated as the crumbed coating was rock hard, and chicken very dry (portion size below average for price), and it wasn’t like it was packed, we were the only patrons so they could have taken a bit of time to prep fresh meals…as they say you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression..

Great place to grab a drink and bite to eat before heading to the Adelaide entertainment center for a show or event

Wouldn't recommend this place for functions. A friend had a medical condition (which they died from) and the venue wasn't very flexible and kept the deposit. Their staff said originally that they would honor it for a new date. The owner changed his mind and he did not give af. My friend spent $400 with nothing to show for it. Walkers Arms hotel was excellent and very accommodating, booked there instead.

Was there for a birthday function. Staff brilliant, service impeccable and everybody enjoyed the food provided.

4 of us had quick dinner before netball Grand final. They started dinner service from 4.30pm to accommodate.... Meals are good, quick service. No fuss ..

Unless you were part of the function you had a choice of two tables or the pokies which are way out of date

PLUGGERS PUB WAS GOOD. NICE

Had my son’s first birthday here and we were very much impressed by the venue and service. We hired soft toys and other stuff which were already set up by the time we got there. Parking is also right next to the venue which was very convenient for everyone. Everything went smoothly and the food was excellent as well. Really glad we found this place!

I am unsure if this is a regular thing as the one other time we have eaten here the meals have been great and service was pretty good. However last night we went before watching family performed for CANDANCE for a cure and we were left frustrated and disappointed. When we arrived we saw that it was packed, fair enough there was a function at the joiners and also at the entertainment centre and sport at the oval. Busy night. However, when we ordered we were told it would be a 45 minute wait for food, we should have not worried. Because over an hour later we still did not have any food. This caused a significant amount of stress as we had a function to get to. We ended up having to get takeaway. Yes we were apologised to which was lovely, however, some sort of compensation would have been nice. We were lucky that the entertainment centre allowed us to take our food in. And because of the nature of the food being now takeaway betime we ate it was cold and mediocre. If you have a function and a sold out dinner service. Either cap your numbers or hire more staff for the night. Very disappointed. And we were not the only ones having to get takeaway because the wait was unbearable.

Worst food in Adelaide.

Food was nice, the onion gravy was alittle over the top but that's okay. The cashier was very softly spoken to the point. Noone could here her.

I don’t know if something bad had happened tonight - but every staff member was in a horrible mood. Genuinely got an eye roll trying to order a drink at 8pm. Need to do a bit better, worst experience I have had at a pub.

Hi,I went to your pub last night before the basketball for tea,I had the fish n chips the chips were nice but the fish was over cooked and it only came crumbed.My friend had the beef snitzel which was grissley and asked for a steak knife to cut it,so overall not a good experience. Carolyn

Went before a concert at Coopers Stadium. Even though it was very busy the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Good pub food & great atmosphere. Getting a drink & something to eat was easy.

I love this pub, I always have a meal there when I’m back in Adelaide. Just a nice, quiet place for lunch and perfect place to catch up with friends. I highly recommend the salt & pepper Calamari.

Absolutely love the Joiners Arms. Great venue. We had my 40th birthday function here recently and it could not have suited better. The food and hospitality was perfect for the occasion. Staff so friendly, great location, excellent set up. Highly recommend and thank you for having us 😁

Great old pub, first time there for a retirement show in the function area, great food, beers are cold and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others for sure

I had my 30th birthday here. The staff were wonderful throughout the process from the planning through to the big night. The food and drinks supplied by The Joiners was a big hit. The beer garden is a wonderful spot to hold any special occasion with everything you could need. A special thanks to Courtney, Tayla and all the staff on the night for all there help.

Food was great, atmosphere was average but it was at 1pm. Barstaff not very friendly and felt like I had asked for them to donate a kidney when I only asked for a drink.
