Great staff. Atmosphere is really great.

Took 30 people there tonight for my wife’s birthday, waited over two hours for food, chicken was tough, steaks were over cooked sauces were watery, massively understaffed. Horrible experience unfortunately won’t be back

Really poor service here. Very, very long wait times for food (upwards of over 80 minutes). Witnessed orders being lost. Staff clearly not up to the challenge of the hospitality industry. If you have a choice avoid, avoid, avoid…

We visited the Karalee Tavern for the first time in years last night and WOW finally Karalee has Tavern that we can all be proud of, The Service and Food were second to none and the portions huge and the new layout was perfect and clean so well done to the whole team for a wonderful night and can't wait for our next visit

I won $682 on the major feature, but there’s no popcorn so only one star because I really want popcorn

Love going to this pub, the food is great, the staff are great. We've been coming here for years, the renovations are definitely and improvement but it is way too loud in the dining area.

Lucky to have this as my local. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. Upgrade is nearly complete, front and rear bars fully revamped. Gaming room upgraded and awaiting a few new additions to come shortly.

Nice place, but food menu is not as good as it was before Star came in. Please, please, please bring back the old Mexican Parma. It was amazing, but the new ones are very ordinary.

Danielle is truly an asset to the venue. Her customer service is exceptional the best I’ve experienced in a long time and a big reason why my husband and I keep coming back. The recent renovations have also made a great difference, and we’re excited to see them once fully completed. My only suggestion would be to bring back the previous mushroom sauce, as the current version isn’t quite as good.

Foods always yum! We always get a really good feed. Staff are lovely. Only gripe is since the Reno, you just feel like you are eating in a hall. There's no coseyness to it any more as it's just one big open space, which has also made it alot louder experience.

Ordered the Parmi 1 Buffalo style - sauce was too thick, sour & spicy, could only eat 1/4 of it.Parmi 2 Hangover - again sauce was over done, way to much that it had to be scraped off of both to be able to eat only 1/4 again.Chicken wings were Chinese Bbq, sauce again was so thick it had to be wiped off, no extra napkins provided or available for finger food?!?,had to go to bar to ask several times for extra serviettes?! The only good part of the meal was the fried cauliflower.Looked for Beef nacho’s advertised on the website menu but none on the paper/online menu??Probably wont return anytime soon. Staff patting patrons dog on the veranda was off putting, let’s hope they washed their hands before service!

The duck special should be added to the main menu! Sooooooo good!!! We came in late just before the kitchen shut and totally shocked at the quality of the food. Crumbed steak was delicious! Great service from Cooper. He’d just cleaned the place before we walked in.. massive thanks to the chefs and copper! .. no pics cause we ate every last bit.

Great new building and still renovating. Food was delicious 😋 Pork Belly just a little less cooking for the crackle. Just a bit dry. Dirtie Bird Schnitzel delicious but bacon and prawns cooked a little longer. Overall was very delicious 😋 Well done 👏 ✔️

We had a great lunch yesterday, best steak sandwich and mixed grill we have tasted for a long time . Great range of wines , both red and white , really nice selection. Friendly and helpful staff .

Went there with my mate the other week for lunch and ordered 2 meals. The meals were reasonably priced and presented well. Would recommend this place 👌

Renos still going on but Tavern is operating well. Wednesday lunch visit with hubby. I ordered the Barra special with cauliflower puree and citrus salad, apparently the first to order this, hubby ordered Ham/Pineapple pizza. Fish nicely cooked and salad delish. Cauli puree beautifully smooth and creamy but a little bland. If you roast cauli first you will get gorgeous flavours. Pizza tasty, but needed a super hot oven to add char and browning. Minor issues, we will be back.

Lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. Catered to the little one with colouring pages and pencils. The ladies working here had big smiles and great attitudes, extremely welcoming environment. The serving sizes were great and worth the money.

The food and the service here has been excellent. My husband is vegan, so we were disappointed that two vegan meals, the Vegan Parmy and the Vegan Burger, have not been included in the new menu. We put down our menus and went home without ordering any food. It means we won't be coming back, unfortunately, which is a shame because it's a nice pub and the staff are lovely.

Food was better than expected, steak and the pork belly was great. (I enjoyed the wife's leftovers) staff are friendly and fun. Was keen to check it out before the renovations start.

Husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the Karalee Tavern. I ordered the eye fillet and it was perfectly cooked. The service was prompt and staff attentive and friendly. We will be back.

Clearly understaffed and lacking experience. Kids cheese burger was under cooked, replacement burger was also undercooked. Give this place a few months to sort themselves out. Felt sorry for the staff though. Poor experience

Service was extremely helpful and friendly and a great welcoming hello and how you going" with a friendly smile. I had a 250g rump with a big salad and BBQ chicken wings to go. It was fantastic. Tara and Jason made you feel welcome as you walked in . I definitely recommend KT . I nice drive from Brisbane and gives you a feel you in the country . I will be back!👍💪"

We had an issue with my drink, and staff followed up very quickly and rectified everything. We were a large party and most of our meals came out quickly

Plenty of parking, lots of beer on tap options and the usual fridge variety. Seating on a deck outside and plenty inside. Beef burger was ok could have had more flavour. Will try a steak next time.

Love it, great local pub. Never disappoints for a good pub meal, good portions, specials, the staff always friendly. An updated kids area/family night options would be greatly utilised in the area.

There is a large outdoor dining area that looks lovely but unfortunately the owner is not interested in accommodating people with their pets. The Bellbowrie Tav, 15mins toward Brisbane, super friendly and will even bring your furrier family members water in a dog bowl.

I’ve been here multiple times - lovely environment & the service is good. One time I went, I was refused to buy food due to not having an ID, but buying alcohol without ID is no issue every other time.

22 attended for a birthday dinner. 20 received meals. Myself and daughter waited 1.5hrs. When everyone was nearly finished their meal, we enquired about our entree and meal. 15min later we got an excuse that docket was lost and it won’t be long. No thanks, can we have a refund! 10 min later the owner wanted to argue the point. Won’t be back for a meal anytime soon. The effort from owner was downright lazy!

Just enjoyed a wonderful Birthday lunch at the KT. Food was delicious, service was sensational, atmosphere in the air-conditioned room was relaxing and quiet.

A beautiful log cabin tavern to socialise, catch up with friends, eat and not be rushed. Your typical tavern but not squished in with other shops so lots of free parking space, good accessible parking with a ramp, and is has a Cheers Liquor Store underneath. The tavern is consistently being improved and has a huge grid of solar, is a log cabin outer face, and has constant upgrades to the inside, and the menu it offers (they have an outdoor clay-fired pizza oven also). A very nice establishment. Only upgrade I would recommend is central air so that the toilets are not burning hot when you go into that room, which is a modern, large open space.

No kids playground! Are you serious. Another tone deaf pub in an area that's surrounded with families that have young kids. Get rid of your bogan smoking area full of Grubs and think about being more suitable for the area. Any one looking for a decent pub, head to the Bellbowie Tavern.

Five of us had lunch at the Karalee Tavern. I had the Plant based Schnitzel, salad, chips & Pepper gravy on the side, DELISH !!! Having two Coopers varieties on tap makes this a 5 star venue. Nice building with good outdoor seating and good food. Staff were helpful and friendly

Love the pub but it holds an unwelcomed record of the top 3 worst steaks I have eaten In the last 10 years (only ordered steaks from there 3 times now). The rib fillet was the worst cut of beef I have seen served colder then room Temperature. It was served as medium rare as ordered but had basically zero grill time out of the water bath so was basically a big ball of unrendered cold fat. The salad consisted of baged leafy greens wit 1 slice of onion separated, 2 slices of cucumber and 2 pieces of diced tomatoes. Chips were nice.

Nice quiet Tavern Live music sometimes which was great

The young man at the drive-through was very nice and helpful.

Ordered eye fillet, it looked more like rib fillet. It was dry and tasteless. My partner had a burger which was also dry but at least tasty. I did complain and got a sorry... Not good enough when the meal cost over $80. Shame when 3/4 of a $42 steak ended up takeaway for my dog. We dine out once a week and thought we would support local, we won't be back. No complaints with the staff, cheers.

The KT has always had a checkered past. I go back every now and then, hoping to experience a positive change. This time, however. It appears that the new management might be moving in the right direction. They finally even moved the Fisho sign!! Has only taken 5 years... I'll be going back again soon. Which is not something I've said in the last 16 years.

The overall look of the pub is fantastic. Beautiful wooden decks out front and back. Ample amount of tables for big or small groups. Can order food from the QR code on the table. Staff were great. Plenty of parking and a drive through bottlo. Food was ok. Nothing that I would rave about though. Would return for a cold beverage if I’m ever in the area again

Attended a second time, and got food poisoning from their pasta. Contacted them about it, was told he'd investigate and get back to me. Never contacted me back. Pasta was extremely oily and not very nice at all. I won't be recommending them to anyone going forward. Update: I was informed that the food poisoning can't have been caused by their meal (the only thing I had to eat that day).
