The location couldn’t be more convenient—easy access to the city center, airport, car rentals, and public transport. Stayed there friday and saturday night feb 2025,in our balcony garden bed were cigarette butts and disgustingly a used syringe,i have photos (for anyone wanting proof)and on showing reception the photos we were told they would remove it the next day,we were expecting some urgency and obviously an apology, none forthcoming!

The place was clean, well-designed, and had a good amount of space. I also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen—it made the stay really convenient. However, despite staying for four days and requesting room service, no one came to clean the room. Overall, I liked everything except the lack of housekeeping during our stay.

Rude customer service

I wound up choosing this hotel based upon its rating and the proximity to the event that I was attending. Didn't hurt that it was right across from Flemington race course, but sadly there was no race meeting while I was there.||Speaking of which, I ended up with a room that faced the race course which was a nice view to have in the mornings. Having stayed at an apartment hotel while in Vienna I kinda knew what to expect, but it was nice that this hotel had both a washer and a dryer, as well as a proper air conditioner as it was nice to return to the room after a hot Australian summer day. ||Speaking of which, I didn't actually end up partaking in the pool. Unlike the apartment hotel in Vienna, the building is split with actual residents of the building, so when I went up there there were residents using the facilities. Since I imagined that some resident would be using the pool, I just wrote off using it during my time there. I'm sure other travelers won't find it a problem, but this is more for letting potential travelers know. ||Back to the room I really didn't use any of the other amenities like the fancy coffee machine, the microwave/stove, or the dishwasher, but they all seemed really nice. ||The TV (at least the one in my room) can in theory be casted to by your personal device as long as you connect the TV to the building WiFi. Do note though that if you do this trying to locate the actual TV will be difficult if not impossible as other rooms' TVs will be connected as well. Apparently people bring their own devices so this doesn't become an issue. So again, this is just a little note.||The bed seemed comfortable enough but might have been a bit too soft for me. Either that or the pillows were a bit too stiff. Might be the latter.||The rainfall shower was really nice though do note the handle controlling the temperature can be a bit finicky so just make sure to use small movements to adjust the temperature. And perhaps it's more because of the amount of showers I took, but the towels did feel a bit on the rougher side.||As for its location access to the CBD (which I realized meant Central Business District) is pretty simple. Either take the 57 tram direct or head to Newmarket station and take the train in. Do note that at least in returning from the CBD the 57 can be a bit crowded as it's a single car tram.||Overall though it was a wonderful stay. Stanley who helped me on check-in was very helpful during my time there and I wouldn't mind staying there again (pool notwithstanding).

This is not really a hotel - more serviced apartments. Not in great condition- dirty when we were there. Location isn’t great, and there are no views. We checked out after the first night (were booked for two nights) to find another hotel - didn’t get a refund. Would rate 0 if Google allowed it.

Motel room door was broken to the balcony went to use the dryer and it was disgusting. Does not like it has been cleaned for a long time and making people pay $20 for a car space and if you have a four-wheel-drive, the car space is too small

Attending events at Flemington Racecourse this was a great choice for us. We enjoyed being able to walk in and avoid the traffic. We found it lovely to walk to Kensington for coffee and try out the cafe's and restaurants in that village.

It’s within 1km of Flemington Racecourse which is convenient as you need to walk 2kms to get to an area where you can catch an Uber after a race day.

If you are after a basic apartment hotel experience then this will be ok but for the price was really surprising. Rooms weren’t that clean - rubbish under the bed, cupboards containing previous guests stuff. Street noise really noticeable particularly early morning. Check in and out experience bare minimum. Staff were friendly and allowed a late check out no problem. Fascinating response from the property to my review - others have made the same complaints and got a response saying they are sorry and would talk to housekeeping and that other rooms are less noisy… telling me that the rooms are doubled glazed and their housekeeping keep the rooms perfectly clean when clearly I found otherwise says a lot about the way they deal with guest issues. The rooms are noisy even though double glazed - the noise comes through the sliding door to a balcony. Other guests also report dirty rooms. Will not stay there again especially now I’ve read the property managers response to my review

The windows are not sound-proof and my apartment was facing the Ascot Vale Road which had traffic throughout the night. Had problems sleeping throughout the stay. The wifi connectivity was very bad and unfortunately in my apartment the mobile reception was also bad, so had to sit out in the balcony to take Teams calls.||The layout of the apartment is terrible. A lot of wasted space. For example - the TV is less than 1m from the sofa so it's quite unwatchable. The Aircon is located so that no air goes into the bedroom. In my case the Aircon was not working properly and only let out normal air.

Home away from home but with upmarket facilities and excellent service from all staff. Thank you Quest you made our transition after our move to Melbourne easy and comfortable. Perfect located with public transportation right on your doorstep.

Super convenient if you are at the racecourse. Décor is on another spectrum, but if you can over look that, the smell of smoke in the room, and the hair I found in my bed it wasn’t too bad.

4.5 Stars. The location is great - especially if you have a car. It's barely a 10 minute drive into the CBD. The apartments are unique. Most of the building is actually privately occupied. The rooftop gym and pool offer some of the best views in Melbourne. The parking situation underground is average but you'll generally get a spot (for an extra fee).

I really enjoyed my stay at the Quest Flemington Central. It is for an affordable price. The rooms are very nice. Free parking is at a very reasonable and affordable price of $20 a night. The apartment had everything I needed, from a washing machine to a dishwasher, dryer, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee maker and more. A very important feature is the climate control heating and air conditioning, which calls / heats the entire apartment according to what you desire, which I was very happy with. The bed and bedding are also very comfortable. There are plenty of power outlets in the apartment at good locations. And there is free Wi-Fi. Something that is very important to me as well is the lighting in the apartment is very good and bright enough👍(compared to some other hotels that have been to where the lighting has been very dim and yellow, which I find disturbing) Check in and check out his also very easy. I would love to write this hotel 5 stars, however there is an issue regarding the swimming pool. Since it's on the roof outdoors, it is cold and there is no heating in the swimming pool. But more importantly is that there is not adequate lighting by the pool at night, which does pose a safety risk.

This place took my $250 cash deposit because they accused me of smoking in the room. Which wasnt true. There's a sign in all rooms & elevators stating not to smoke in the rooms but you are allowed on the balcony but have to take your cigarette butts with you. Just saying! As im a clean person I leave a place I stay in clean & tidy, & never had a complaint like this. One thing I recommend noone do is leaving the balcony door open to air out the room before i handed the keys in. So i was denied my $250 cash deposit because i was accused of smoking inside my room. They stated that the room couldnt be booked for a night. LoL what a joke. I did nothing as what they stated, maybe someone smoking outside at the time ther smoke was entering the room from the balcony door I left open. (Don't make that mistake guys). But to me it seemed that they wanted the cash money I gave them. Im assuming like they have. So it was very disappointing considering I've been ther 3-4 times. But wont go there again..

The room was good and had two giant windows, but right across from the bedroom there is a walk way and it felt uncomfortable having the windows open when people could easily see in. When booking the room there was an option to write any requests you had, I wrote ‘please add some cute little touches’, which unfortunately they didn’t do. The pool is good, although a bit too cold for this time of year (even though it’s heated ?). Nice views from the roof top.

2024: The pool on the 19th floor is jaw-droppingly photogenic, and the reason you should consider a stay. There's no other opportunity to view the city skyline or Flemington Racecourse, while bathing on a rooftop. The rooms themselves aren't without faults, but sufficient enough to settle most comforts.

We had an amazing stay at Quest Flemington Central.Our room was clean, comfortable and well presented.The kitchen was packed with a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all plates, bowls, cups or cutlery we could need.Washer and dryer as well as a balcony, it really was a lovely room, we were very happy!The pool was heated and the roof top view was gorgeous, it was very relaxing and great for a morning or late night dip. Staff were very respectful and accommodating.

Do not buy or rent in this building. Parcels often go missing, and cars in the parking lot are frequently stolen or vandalized. Don't expect to be able to access the CCTV footage, even if you own a property here. The building management will ignore you, hoping the issue will go away on its own. The maintenance here is terrible, with a constant stench of garbage and an infestation of flies and bugs. Theft is also a common issue, indicating a lack of proper care and attention.

Staff unwilling to help with the most rudimentary of request from the general public... didn't even get the chance to stay. Do not recommend

I'm deeply distressed by my recent stay at Quest Flemington Central. As a mother facing homelessness, I was directed to this establishment by Unison for temporary accommodation from January 2nd of 2024 until further notice. However, my experience quickly turned sour. On January 16th, I attempted to contribute money towards my stay as instructed by Unison as I did the week prior, but Peter told me no contribution was necessary. Confused by this sudden change, I reached out to Peter for clarification, but received no response. To my dismay, shortly afterward, Oscar from Unison informed me that I was not allowed to continue my stay, providing no explanation for this decision. Instead interrogating me as if I did something wrong. It’s particularly distressing that Peter ignored my calls until I reached out from my brother’s number, only to then inform me that I could not continue my stay because a baseball team had booked the hotel. This sudden eviction only exacerbated my sense of injustice and betrayal. Peter initially claimed my belongings were already packed and ready at reception, despite my explicit instruction to go back and pack them myself. However, his subsequent backtrack and attempt to shift blame onto me during our phone call two days later only deepened my sense of betrayal. Upon retrieving my belongings, I discovered they had been packed without my consent, leaving me feeling violated and disrespected. Numerous items were missing from my belongings, and despite reporting the theft to both Peter and Sophia at reception, I received no meaningful assistance or acknowledgment of the situation Not only did they fail to communicate effectively and provide adequate assistance, but they also violated my trust by handling my belongings without my consent. The theft of my personal items, coupled with the lack of accountability and restitution, only adds insult to injury. Peter's offer of a mere $20 voucher as compensation for the stolen items is woefully inadequate and fails to address the severity of the issue. The disregard for my dignity and the lack of accountability demonstrated by the management of Quest Flemington Central is deeply troubling. I urge them to take immediate action to rectify this situation, provide appropriate compensation for the theft, and ensure that future guests are treated with the respect and care they deserve. Quest Flemington Central has not only deprived me of my dignity but also of the few possessions I had left. Their callous actions have left a lasting impact, and I implore them to rectify this injustice promptly. This is my reply back to Quest - Let’s get one thing straight. I was never given a check out date. I was never told that I would be expected to leave on that day. Actually I contacted Peter to pay him for that week, as requested by Unison, but all he replied was no contribution from you. Nothing less, nothing more. Actually I was the one who was trying to contact him as I was confused. Is that what you call, being told your checkout date and time? I would like to know the time I was contacted. Because not one person from Quest contacted me, including Peter. After writing my number on a paper for Sophia at reception, she did not even bother to give a me a call back. It’s not only food items that have been stolen. I have not been given both chargers one orange and one white, that were placed in the outlet in the kitchen area. I have a list of everything missing. And I’m sorry, but being told I can give you a $20 voucher is absolutely disgusting and degrading to someone whose belongings were stolen. I have a list of everything that was stolen. $20 does not even cover it. And the fact that you’re now trying to save face by saying you contacted me, yeah you definitely did not. And I’ve got all the proof and evidence. Packing my things without asking for permission is absolutely disrespectful and disgusting. Stealing it is on another level. Do better!

Most disgusting treatment by staff taken advantage of a mentally unwell person who is actually leaving an abusive situation whom they’ve taken cash extra payment on card not shown receipts and threatened multiple times to call the police because I wouldn’t let them speak to me and offend me Also don’t wear a bikini in the reception area even for two minutes to pick up food apparently it’s not allowed. Yet they have a pool and random people who don’t stay here use it because their friends lives here. The staff are the most disgusting people I’ve ever dealt with bullying and gaslighting to get money out of someone that hasn’t even been here the majority of the time there’s no help line I payed 630 plus 200 cash today plus 300 cash today plus 340 on card since Tuesday and it’s been a week and they are only offering me 155 back I payed them an extra 50$ to leave me alone and they are pretending i never gave them the money Don’t stay here is you are disabled they will abuse you

Great apartment hotel. Very nice infinity pool. Front desk open till late, however closes at 8pm Public Holidays. However, don't stay on the 1st floor near the carpark entrance , the noise from cars driving over the drain covers is annoying. Otherwise a great stay.

Misleading information in several travel agency sites of hotel offering free parking , but actually being charged with $20 per day in a very tight car park. If we knew the parking was not free we would have chosen CBD location and now we had to pay extra for both hotel and CBD parking. Staff is polite and friendly but it’s quite confusing with the room cleaning service without providing clear information. Room cleaning is not provided everyday and there’s designated schedule for that. When we called the reception they said room cleaning will be provided by Friday but no one showed up for cleaning at the end of night. We had to go down to reception and take the essentials. There is no ventilation in the room so good luck if you are taking a number two, shower is quite weak too. Good side is the room is cozy and there’s a heated pool with nice view.

Need to emphasize that the service at reception was amazing, and the room was pretty however a little dated. The Cafe they use for breakfasts is walking distance and lovely. My main and only grievance is with the parking garage, it's shared with the residential part of the building and a nightmare. It was the worst I've ever experienced while on a business trip to Melbourne.
