Four of us had dinner in the restaurant before the Troy Harrison show. Excellent food & the service from Dominic was special.

I went to the Arkaba with my 12 year old son to watch the indigenous all starts vs freo game. Whilst watching the footy at half time we decided to play Shufl this game required a deposit. The staff member asked for my bank card as a deposit. I did think it was odd. I gave him my card and played with my son. When I went to return the shufl pucks the staff member handed me a card that was purple and beyond bank. My card was yellow and commonwealth bank. I handed back the card and the staff member looked for mine and couldn’t find it. He then disappeared out the back. When he returned the manger came out and spoke to me and said they had switched the cards up by mistake and gave my card away. The manager rang the police because he said he only had the other card holders name and not a number and couldn’t ring her. I also rang the police the police have rang the woman and left a message and that’s all that can be done. The Arkaba needs to find a better way for deposits for a game. This is not acceptable as now I have to pause my card and possibly cancel it and then go though all subscriptions and services that’s my cards attached to. The manager has just rang and the manager had my card as the woman who had it did return to get hers. This completely ruined my first night out at a pub watching footy with my son. I hope the pub finds a better way to get a deposit or even yet don’t charge one. I will be dropping in to see if and when this system is changing. My son would like to go back I’m not so sure

Stayed for a couple of nights, nicest of the hotels I've ever been to. Everything is nice and tidy except the dirt on corners of the room.

When I think of the Arkaba, I think of sad, beige, divorced 50-something men with gambling problems. Good on you guys for profiting on the misery of others. I bet you sleep like a baby at night in your Scrooge McDuck-style waterbed filled with the tears of the bankrupt working class, with dollar sign print on the doona.

Stayed here with my partner for 3 nights as we were attending an event here. Great place to stay. Spacious rooms criendly staff and the restaurant and bar was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

Lunch at the refurbished Arkaba was fabulous. Great choice on the menu, fabulous food, friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend a visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made all the difference after a series of frustrating travel delays. Helen at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She could sense how tired and stressed we were, and without us even mentioning that it was our 10-year wedding anniversary, she went above and beyond to make our stay special. She kindly upgraded us to a luxurious spa suite, which was such a thoughtful and welcome surprise. The suite was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the comforts we could ask for. It was the perfect way to unwind after our long journey. The room service was nothing short of incredible. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was clear that the chefs take pride in their work, as every dish was a delight. We were especially impressed with the attention to detail, from the perfectly cooked meals to the impeccable presentation. All in all, this hotel turned a stressful situation into a memorable one. Thanks to Helen’s kindness, the beautiful accommodations, and the amazing food, our anniversary turned out to be a truly special occasion. We’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable stay.

We just ordered 2 chicken Snitzel’s for takeaway and they were honestly the best snitzels I’ve ever had. Actually incredible. The salad and dressing was amazing too. The girl who greeted and got the dinner was lovely!

Staff at bar are very reluctant to serve even when there's not many people at the bar I guess it depends on staff that are on and how they're trained

Hi I be comming to the arkabar long time I been having my birthday last two years i want to have my birthday there was a booking fee up front I had 30 people to come after I went to another hotel didn't charge me I was disappointed I want to come there because of the surcharge I won't be having my birthday any more.

We stayed for 8 nights and every morning we woken up either by cleaners or neighbours. In both cases the cupboard doors were slammed or beds were hitting the walls. I am on holiday and would appreciate to be able to wake up at my own time not when someone next door making a bed or screaming because they can't talk normally. Rooms are dated, clean but I am not sure they were vacuumed daily. In the bathroom vent wasn't working and some lights were taken out. We were also getting different number of teaspoons every day? Sometimes we had 2, sometimes 4 or 3. I am also puzzled why we would get 2 Tim tams or chips if it was 4 of us, but at least it was consistent. Food in the restaurant was ok but certainly not something to write home about. Seafood platter was overpriced for what it was, lamb was good. Staff was friendly and service was good except noise in the early mornings. Location is great with easy parking.

Went there for my Mums birthday. And the guy, Dominic, was a lovely server and friendly and just lovely. One of us left a mob ph behind and they had already picked it up to give back to us. Prices were good for these days. Definitely would go back. Thank you 😊

Friendly, helpful staff and good service from phone booking at short notice through to the dining room and the bar afterwards. Excellent food at standard prices and great live music. One glitch - our main course arrived before we had finished our shared entree and our server did not know what to do.

We had our Christmas party in one of the private rooms… hands down Eddie who was a complete legend !! I had the prawn cocktail and the eye fillet and they were fabulous. Thanks to the Arkaba for a great send off to 2024.

Easy Parking, Excellent efficient staff, wine list excellent and reasonably priced. Menu good. Fillet steak unbeatable.

Very poor choice of food items on the menu My meal was very small and not worth the money. I was also astonished to know they no longer give you a bread roll with your meal😩 My friend was not impressed at all with our meals. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

At 61 I can say I have been to alot of hotels in my time but this one is by far the best I have been in, the staff are all so professional and polite it is a credit to the managers and owners, please move or open something in Perth so we can have this sort of quality.

Food was great, service from Dominic was even better!!! Felt very silly tossing up between two gravy’s, but he didn’t make a problem of it and made sure I had a great meal😊😊

Food and service for Sunday lunch was excellent. Staff on cue,responsive and respectful. Our table adjacent to cutlery drawer, cupboard and restuarant reception desk. This was a busy staff traffic and chatter area throughout our time.

Very underwhelming considering the restaurant has just been renovated and re opened recently. $27 for a cheeseburger and fries. Burger was cold. 2 glasses of flat soft drink.

I stayed here for work and appreciated the thoughtful touches that made a difference—daily free Tim Tams, crisps, and bottled water, which you rarely see!||The room was spacious, clean, and came with a large desk perfect for working. The staff were genuinely friendly, and dining options include classic pub fare with a good range of beers. There's also a huge sportsman bar and pokies, providing entertainment options for those interested. Free parking is available (though I didn’t use it), and there are two supermarkets nearby for essentials.||The location is in the suburbs, which makes it peaceful but means limited dining options outside the hotel. The decor is dated, and the air conditioning was average. Additionally, the bathroom lighting could be improved. However, the rooms were very well cleaned, and the area offers plenty of walking and running paths since there’s no gym on-site. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with thoughtful perks close to the city but not in the thick of it, this place is a solid choice.

A great venue for events!

Our go-to accommodation in Adelaide. We've stayed in various room types over the past couple of years and have always had positive experiences. The family room with the loft is particularly impressive with the space available. Room service is prompt and staff are very polite and endeavour to meet any requests in order to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. I particularly love that Frewville Foodland is conveniently straight across the road. Meals are very well presented, substantial and affordable. All in all, the Arkaba Hotel feels like home away from home ☺️

We recently held an event at the Arkaba Hotel in the Top Room, and the experience was excellent. A huge thank you to Taylor Skinner for her outstanding service and professionalism in managing our function. The venue looked amazing and there was plenty of positive feedback from our guests. We couldn’t have asked for better support, and we are very grateful to Taylor and the entire Arkaba team for helping make our event a success. Highly recommended!

Awesome place after an incredible function.

Very bad customer service, nil confirmation email sent, took $200 from our account before we even arrived, no parks available, overpriced, no interest in providing customers with an apology or interest in owning their mistakes, Will never stay there again. Disgusting service for a vision impaired person, would give no stars if possible.

Watched The NRL Grand Final, great food, and the service was excellent as it was very busy.

So many TVs to watch your favourite sport. I can count 6 TVs in my immediate view. We watched a Socceroos match and the ambience was fun. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and snacks of pizza cheese and garlic, well cooked and full of flavour and wedges. I tried the dessert - chocolate lava cake with strawberry ice-cream. Simply awful . Microwaved, no lava, no texture taste or substance. Ice cream was nice. The venue is huge neat and welcoming.
