My favourite restaurant in surfers paradise!! Im from Melbourne and always come to this restaurant for a delicious meal. Customer service is amazing. Definitely recommend for some authentic Italian food!! 10/10

The food was fine, but we had to wait 45 minutes for it. I was very unhappy about that. Looks like they are overcrowded and the service quality has gone down.

We sat down to Order some drinks and ordered a beer, margarita and mocktail. When it came out it was a margarita pizza not a drink. Then sent it back and asked for the drink then got forced to take it and that it would only be 5$. And after seeing the reviews there is clearly a pattern to you guys not taking responsibility for your actions I would not recommend this place for the Service. Beautiful food terrible service put a dampen on the whole experience

My second home, been coming since the dinosaurs roamed. It's somewhere me and my furry overlord come and feel relaxed as we sip great coffee and eat tasty things. Best pizza in the galaxy and don't get me started on their Ragu. Love everyone there, we always get a warm welcome and it feels like coming home. Also great cocktails too. For breakfast, the Baritalia roll is glorious.

Came looking for an aesthetically pleasing location to have a good breakfast and it would have been great, until o felt rushed by the young girl. Because I was so inquisitive about a few things on the menu it seems I was taking up her time and she repeatly kept telling me as I was hoping she would give me feedback while I was trying to figure out things I seemed confused about. I didn’t enjoy my experience as servers should focus on but after speaking to the manager, she seemed to make it slightly better hearing me out. Not sure she corrected the girl as if she continues it, she can never be aware of what she is doing wrong. I asked for another server because I didn’t want to force her to waist time on me as she made me feel she had other things to do. She was at my table all of 2 mins. She didn’t even bother to get my water she told me to get it myself. Although she didn’t say it rude she just didn’t seem to have time for me from the start. As a retired server myself it’s important to give the customer a welcoming experience through out the whole time. It wasn’t even that busy. The best thing for her to gain is self awareness. And her staff leaders would give alternative ways to help her deal with it if they want to see her grow. Just slow down.

Myself and my cousin came here for lunch today the food was very disappointing my cousins pasta was undercooked and the feeling was also not cooked properly and it made us feel very sick.

The staff were super friendly and attentive. They always made sure we were doing okay. We had the burrata special with peaches & prosciutto with garlic panini. It was so delicious, I wish we had more. I got the Rigatoni (a pink sauce with tiger prawns). The sauce was so good, my friend was dipping her pizza crust in it. I was beyond full but I couldn’t stop, I had to finish it and not let it go to waste! Highly recommend this place!

Really great service. It was close to closing time and the waiter took our order without questions. Very friendly. Delicious pizza would definitely recommend.

Delicious breakfast, tasty coffee and cosy atmosphere!

Lactose free ice coffee is 8.5 bucks. They asked for my name to order coffee, then left the coffee on the table without calling me and asked me again what I wanted. It was a bit strange.

Don't let the looks deceive you as this pizza was terrible. Most of the dough was undercooked and made it impossible to pick up a slice without it falling apart. The supposedly san marzano tomato base was flavourless. Very disappointed after reading a few reviews and definitely not worth the $30.

Random pick for dinner whilst we were wandering aimlessly thru surfers paradise. Very quick found a seat for us!! Service was really spot on. We shared a broken burrata and the gnocchi special which was pork and fennel sausage. Both were amazing. The burrata was different- in a good way- to any we had previously tried. It was worth going back for on its own. We tried an Italian rose which also very good. All in all a really nice experience

One of the best restaurants i’ve been too in Gold coast. They had amazing customer service, they were nice the entire time checked up on us and brought out our food in 10 mins

very cute atmosphere and food was delicious! the crust of the pizza was so soft and tasted amazing and the bread on the panini was very crunchy and the sea salt on top added great flavour

Customer Service super friendly, Even if it is right next to a busy street, the restaurant has a nice and cute Atmosphere with all the plants/ lights/ etc.. The food and cocktails are amazing. Love the pizza crust.

The garlic panini is too delicious... we waited a bit too long for our mains maybe there was short of chef. but the way it was handled by the staff/manager is so respectful. we had to leave so he gave us complimentary pizza which is naples style very delicious pizza. good customer service n good food

We have eaten here twice during our stay in Sufers. Dine in for breakfast which was fantastic, and then takeaway pizza and pasta. This has EASILY been the best meal of our trip The Tubetti, and the All'Amatriciana are two of the best pastas we have ever had and the Margherita pizza is divine. We come from Melbourne, so lots of Italian and good food but this by far up the top with some of the best Italian we've had.

Bar Italia was a really pleasant surprise to find in Surfers Paradise. Everyone in our group was so happy with their meals and every single dish was delicious. The prices were very reasonable for such good quality food. One of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time.

We had the best food ever at this restaurant. We spent 7 nights in surfers sampling different food on offer and they had the best food hands down.

This is a place I will be returning too. The atmosphere of staff was excellent same with service. Staff were so kind and genuinely happy to be at work. The food was also delicious and exactly what I ordered. The lasagna exceeded expectations and was delicious. They are very inclusive as well when it comes to dietary requirements. The gluten free pasta wasn’t starchy at all and paired beautifully with the rest of the meal. It is also very family friendly and I recommend it to everyone who is thinking of going. If you are looking good good service and a great time I recommend going here.

I was ordered 3 flat white this morning. But I got just a latte. I told the barista. I ordered a flat white. The barista said it was the same thing... Is he professional??? Barista?? Even the latte is the worst in this area... Re. Thanks for the recommendation.! I read your previous reviews and most of them are about your response... I get it. I totally get it lol. I like the shop coffee normally so I walk to buy coffee far a way there while i am working in Surfers Paradise as I am busy always however today the service not good as they didn’t say sorry when they was wrong. My coffee was first order than the other but they changed the order and I complained and then it's important they won't think fix for the future as don't say sorry. They took my time so I feel too bad now as I hate it is changed orders.

5 STAR! The burrata with pesto oil, with lamb stuffed olives, the mussels, the seafood spaghetti! WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT without the insane price tag. Service is amazing for lunch and dinner, and they are dog friendly!

Extremely over priced food, $45 for this tiny piece of fish. You have to order sides separately this is for all the mains on the menu. Absolutely ridiculous $45 for a tiny piece of fish with an extra $10-$12 per side. Ordered chips and salad with my fish the salad didn’t come asked again, finished my $57 fish and chips and still didn’t have the salad. In the end we had to cancel the salad as everyone had finished their meals. They don’t bring bills to the table wanting you to pay at the counter but there is no table numbers. Like previous comments have said they mix up tables so make sure you check through your bill before paying. Very disappointing experience with this restaurant defiantly won’t be back.

Best breakfast I’ve had anywhere on the Gold Coast. Lived here for years and first time here - great food, great coffee and great service. So many places on the Gold Coast are either super old fashioned or too trendy for their own good - this place strikes the right balance, a modern feel with modern dishes but all the classics too. Love it! Shout out to the friendly wait staff (Weds morning 1015am) as they were also some of the friendliest I’ve encountered on the coast.

Money hungry. If they make a mistake on your order they will make you pay for it, and overcharge you.

We stayed nearby and had dinner and breakfast here 3 days in a row because it was that good!

Service was amazing, food was great. We went here for dinner and then breakfast the next day and all meals were delicious and not things you can order everywhere! We sat outside and even in the rain the atmosphere was great- would recommend as a convenient breakfast location for sure

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Baritalia. The ambience was superb with low lighting, warmth (in winter) and a cosy feel. I chose a pasta dish (Rigatoni with prawns) and it was delicately delicious. The wine selection was good and the service was 5 star. I don't think you'd be disappointed when dining at Baritalia.

I was there the other day and everything it was amazing. We got the pleasure to be attending by a girl with short hair. We gonna repeat for sure 10/10

The Pizza we ordered was soggy and the cheese and topping fell off when picking it up. We were told it was family size and big enough to share, yet it was less than large, and didn’t fill the plate - it was $30 and it was also the wrong Pizza. With Pizza, garlic bread and 3 shakes was $64, we all had to eat something else afterwards, in my opinion it’s not worth the price… Besides being offered water when the Pizza came, we couldn’t see a staff member to complain about the Pizza, Staff wore casual clothes, so was hard to find them. As we were in a rush, the kids had some yet mainly cheese as the toppings were mushroom and olives, and non-soggy parts of base. On exit I tried to complain to a staff member behind the bar, yet they shrugged it off. Not going back.

Bar Italia is one of my most favourite restaurants on the GC, the food is absolutely incredible, the wine is delicious and the staff are always attentive. I took a group of 17 in for a work dinner last night and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone had such a great time and enjoyed all of our yummy dishes. Thank you team! We will be back 🙌🏼

A golfing tour party of 28 - nothing was a problem for Simon and his staff! We were extremely well looked after, the food was sooooo yummy, with very generous portions, and service was A+. Voted by the team as the best 'end of tour' dinner yet! Thanks for having us, was a night to remember!!!

The worst restaurant ever. Rude staff, the slowest service. We left after an hour without our food and rather than owning it and, the waiter there thought it would be a good idea to give me a mouthful of abuse and attitude for leaving. These guys should not be in business.

Completely unfaultable. I eat A LOT of pizza, and this was by an absolute mile the best I have ever had. As someone who also has a lot of difficult allergies (gluten, onion, garlic), the staff were incredibly helpful and went through all the ingredients with me! The gluten free pizza bases were incredible, you wouldn't even know they were gluten free, the staff we so lovely and helpful. Please open a branch in Christchurch? 😂

Absolutely amazing experience eating here , so good we came twice in one day . For the breakfast menu the freshly squeezed juice was absolutely delicious and the dinner menus pastas did not disappoint at all . Staff were very accommodating of my nut allergy which was really impressive . Have not had better Italian food since in Italy ! Compliments to the chef , the manager and the owner , will definitely be visiting again!
