Great service from Donna, beautiful meals and cery quick service

We have just dinned with the fair way for the second time. Friendly staff, Delicious food, We had a main and entree both time totalling 8 meal all very high quality with delicious flavor. Great value for money. We will be going back again A Local recommended the fairway bistro to us and I recommend it to you too.

Pleasant golf club venue with pokies. Staff were very friendly. Nice country atmosphere. Food was good and quiet atmosphere.

Fairways Bistro at Mildura Visited on 2/6/2019 After a long day travelling from Melbourne, it's time to have a nice dinner. We are a group of 13 Melbournians. We are not sure where we can find a restaurant nearby, so we settle for having pur dinner hete. My wife has heard about my having a Beef Cheek dish before, but has not eaten it before. When she sees it on the menu, she jumps onto it. She loves in. The dish may not been the most appealing, because of its bery dark brown colour, but it is divine in taste and tender texture. The other travelling also enjoy their meals. Servicewise is a bit slow. I suppose we cannot really complain because the surge of 13 meals wanted at the same time is a bit daunting.

The fish and chips was less than average. The side salad old and inedible.

Expensive, food looked of poor quality, didn't even get a chance to be disappointed (or rather pleasantly surprised) as there was noone there to take our order! Couple of guests sitting down and eating, but we stood there for 10 minutes looking like idiots till we decided to leave. Currently searching for other options on foot. Because that's how much we wanted to stay there.

We took some visiting relatives to the Mildura Golf Club Bistro for what we thought would be a pleasant Saturday lunch. Specials on the board were considered to be the order of the day, so two parmigiana's and two prawn dumplings (main) a fish of the day and a child serve parmigiana were ordered. When the parmigiana's arrived, it was obvious that the serving size was tiny. There was absolutely no difference in the child serve or the supposedly adult serve. The dumpling dish was not much better. There were four small dumplings which suited my 9 year old daughter, but were hardly sufficient for a main course for the adult diner. In summary, I would not recommend this Bistro.
