Melton Country Club

Service was average apprantely the bloke was new but no one was training him on the till putting the meals through he had to keep going and asking staff questions took about 15 - 20 minutes for him to serve 3 people and they were only small orders nothing over $50. Took a couple of minutes to get noticed at the bar as well. No other customers standing there when I first got there a lady came up to bar about 2 minutes later and said I was there first. Then she got served and spilt her drink all over the floor took them about 20 minutes to clean it up. Now the kitchen no problem there got meals in about 15 minutes. Got battered flathead fish and chips it was good and got a garlic bread which was average. The pricing was alright $12.50 for the fish $9 for garlic bread and $3.70 for softdrink all without a member card. Toilets were clean and the restaurant.

Pretty good lunch - freshly cooked and substantial enough- reasonable drink prices

This is the most awesome place for a great meal. Amazing staff. I eat here every week. A nice cold beer, awesome meals, and pokies for a bit of fun. Keep up the great work 👍

We ordered chips n wedges and cheesy garlic bread and didn't take long for our order,once our buzzer went off we went and picked up our order and to discover our cheesy bread wasn't done as they forgot it. I asked since you forgot it could you please bring it out to our table. The reply we got was if you don't come get it, you miss out. Not very nice serve at all 😡

Spent my last outing there with my late Mother in October. Lunch. We both enjoyed the big serving of chips, fish fillets and salad. Some garlic bread. Sharing a schooner size of lemon, lime and bitters. They accommodate the elderly well re food choice& wheelchair accessibility inside the Bistro. Mum was happy with everything so, that certainly made me happy. Enjoying a meal together. 🥰

We had a great experience. The lounge area is perfect for meeting up to have pre - and post drinks after the bistro closes. The meals were great and good prices

I went to the country club with my mate and my mum. We were playing the pokies, having a beer. We did nothing wrong except talk maybe a little bit loud and never got asked to please talk a bit lower which would have been fine but they cut us off and then asked us to leave the premises so as a result I have cut up my membership card and will never step foot back into that place ever again

Went to the counter to order the MCC Mixed Grill on members night and when I requested that the Steak portion of the grill be cooked Well Done I was informed by the lady serving me that it is cooked to Medium only and that if I don’t like my steak medium then I should order something else. Never in my 60 years on this planet have I ever been told how my steak will be cooked. Completely mind boggling but maybe they’re still upset that Essendon didn’t make the finals this year. Bread rolls used to be 50 cents and they tripled the price to $1.50 . Apart from that the staff are usually very nice and friendly.

Good space for conference, seating is comfortable, tea and instant coffee station is good, enough parking on site, toilets ok, food has large serves but quite meat heavy. Staff are very helpful 💚

This is their “Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni”. It taste like something you’d buy for half price due to unpopularity. The chips taste like the oil in the fryer hasn’t been changed in a month. Truly disappointing.

Tonight’s serving of the butterfly chicken would have had maybe 150 g chicken, it was ridiculously small. The serving had zero veggies which I ordered and a tiny amount of mash. Usually you don’t miss the mark by this much but tonight you did.

Went for tea at Melton County Club.Had a Forty two dollar T bone Steak.Ive been eating here for 22 years and this is the worst meal I’ve ever had here.The Steak was full of gristle.The Vegetables were raw and stunk.They tasted like starch and were un eatable.The Chefs should be Ashamed of themselves to dish that up.

My first time to Melton Country Club and it was very nice. Comfortable and clean and good food and bar at good prices. Alfi solo provided the excellent entertainment and I will return when Alfi is on again.

Recently had dinner here and ordered the beef ribs, the best advice I can give is don't bother. The garnish was unnecessary, the meat was like chewing old boot leather. I fought with the dish to pull the first rib out and the other two wouldn't budge. the most enjoyable part of my meal was the beer. My wife had the Chicken Kiev and found that dish very enjoyable.

Food is average and now expensive, $1.50 for a small bread roll that used to come with you're meal so disappointed the place has gone down hill fast but the staff are fantastic

Great chefs but what has happened. No free roll and butter with booking any more. $1.50 to buy ine. Roast of the day was chicken.....omg cheapest... every 90 year old was asked to produce seniors card. Wow how insulting. Cashier waited with a que while I had to run around getting seniors cards. What has happened is there a new manager that has lost sight for the seniors and our vets. Pathetic.

In the past 2 years this place is so deteriorated that I will not be renewing my membership on June the 1st. YOU GET ABSOLUTE NOTHING as a member any more. You used to have a special drae every Friday night for members, which was stopped. They used to bring round a trolley for patrons playing the porkies, they now don't. Then to top it off, we went to the club tonight and you now have to pay $1.59 for a small dinner roll, which was previously free. ABSOLUTE PATHETIC for the money members have spent here over the past If you are after a meal, go elsewhere

Parma night is a hit or miss , staff are friendly but sometimes the parma tastes funky but as I've had more hits then misses I'll keep going

Bin going to the club on Friday night for years and enjoyed it but lately they have turned the smoking area into a party area drinking and yelling all night will be going some where else from now on

Didn't listen to our concern ,manager didn't come back , we asked for a desert due to not able to eat our meal , still waiting for an answer

What a disappoint dinner was the pork ribs were dry, full of fat and the manager was rude

Lovely place for seniors meals

Pinot noir was like drinking weak tea mixed with water. Moroccan chicken wrap was nice but had no spices near it. The presentation could have been a little more appealing.

Good location for our monthly Melton Motor Sport Car club meeting, food selection is good, service is quick and meal tasty.

Delicious food, great service, friendly staff. Cost for seniors meals is not expensive and if a soup or dessert is included, only $1 extra. Excellent price and value. Decent sized meals.

Meals were exceptional 😋 👌 Service was excellent as always the staff work very hard to ensure everything is OK. Atmosphere was good early got really noisy later.

Monday night is steak night at MCC. I had the best Rump Steak ever.So very tasty and tender,like cutting a slice of bread. Well done to the chef!!!!!!!!! Many thanks to the helpful staff. I’ll definitely be back for one of those steaks.
