Zak and his team (Shaye) were absolutely ace. As nervous first-purchasers, Zak was helpful, generous with his time, and gave us the space to make a decision for which we felt no ultimate pressure. His team had the machine ready to be picked up ahead of the schedule and kept us informed and included details about other things to consider. A really good experience.

My experience with Zax Amusements has been absolutely phenomenal. I went in last week to purchase a Sega Keymaster for my business and am over the moon. Shaye has been my point of contact their from my inception and from the get go she has been extremely professional, attentive and responsive to any queries i have had surrounding the keymaster, its respective accessories, the logistics and aftercare of the machine; would highly recommend dealing with her. I would also like to highlight how insightful, knowledgable and helpful zax from zax amusemnt was. Prior to purchasing this machine zax spent half an hour with me running through the mechanics, functions and providing me tips for my machine; This insight was quite invaluable and really goes to show how this company has been in business for over 30 years. Last but not least a massive thank you to Dennis, Justin & Oleg. After purchasing this machine Dennis spent over an hour with me running me through every function and setting within the machine. He was extremely helpful, friendly and skilled; Dennis even went the extra mile by sticking instructions on the inside of my machine with steps on how to calibrate it and check its calibration. Justin was excellent over the phone clarifying my last few questions and even providing me a direct email into the service team if i have any further questions. Also, a massive thank you to Oleg who was in charge of the delivery of my machine. Oleg was punctual, friendly and professional, executing a swift and safe drop off. Overall, i am extremely happy with my keymaster and is safe to say that zax amusements made a dream of mine come true. Again thank you to Shaye and the team down at zax for making this happen. Have bought two cranes and a couple of parts from them, which went smoothly each time. The E-CLAWS especially that they sell are phenomenal, and am very happy with mine, will definitely be back for more in the future. Extremely responsive and fast when it comes to technical support too, which is greatly appreciated.

I used Zax for the first time to fix my very rare Chase HQ upright. I am super proud of the way the fixed my problem, they professionalism they showed and the quick turnaround time. Just got my Jurassic Park pinball machine love it already. Although I had to wait almost 2 years for it and with a price increase (which is on everything at the moment and I was sort of expecting it) they contacted me and gave me the option to keep my order if I was happy or cancel it with a full refund. Very happy with their service and they are very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. Also asked about a topper for it and they told me to go to the competition because they had it in stock. I’m sure I’ll be back for another soon enough 😘

Paid a deposit with these guys. After a 12 month wait they jacked the price up 40% on arrival. Just a heads up to anyone else considering placing an order with them.

Zax service is exceptional. I was just a parent making a query (I am unfortunately not nor ever could be a big client) but I was treated like a VIP customer. They went over and above to help me. Their staff were knowledgeable and showed great care. Given how well I was treated as a “little guy” it shows that they would treat all customers with respect and with a strong desire to help them and their business.

My partner and I picked up foo fighters yesterday and the service was magnificent! Thank you to all at Zax amusements.

If you're considering buying a pinball machine, you can't go wrong with Zax. Great service and attention to detail. I'm not here to offer financial advice, but most pins hold their value well.. and you get to play it and own it and get your money back at the end of the day. Buy your first machine and you will get addicted. If you live in Melbourne, Zax is your local dealer. Highly recommended.

Great people to purchase arcade and pinball machines from

Bought a brand new Buck Hunter game for my kids for 12k!!! Kids used for a short period (used for about 6-8hrs) Broke down and was told “it was out of warranty” They Fixed it and then got a bill to go with it High prices, but poor quality machine and even worse after care service This game Looks like an expensive piece of artwork, not a usable game

Google listing said zax is open until 6. Drove 90 mins and the place was shut at 5.

Steep prices, but I have to say they are easily the best place, and most times the only place, to get arcade parts in australia. They have always been able to source parts for us over the years, and i'm sure will continue to help keep my old clapped out games running as long as they can get the parts... The industry is in big trouble when you guys decide to hang up the boots, thanks for doing what you do

Arrived at Zax Amuesment with my son to check out the latest Stern Avengers IQ. Was met with friendly staff who went out of there way to show us their demo model, and allowed us to play a few games. Was so impressed, that we ordered one there and then. I had bought a Stern Kiss pinball machine from Zax a few years ago, and like then, the friendly staff including Zax himself, have always been good to me. Couldn't rate them any higher . Job well done. Keep it up.

If you read Hana's review, you'll be prepared, because I had a v. similar experience. Must be new owners, because the customer service is TERRIBLE! I went here years ago, and the technicians couldn't have been more helpful - answering all my questions, selling me the required parts RIGHT THERE in store, and even showing me around the workshop out back where they had all the machines awaiting repair. Today's experience was similar to Hana's where all I got from the woman at the FRONT DESK, not even in the store, was a lot of deflection and refusal to provide customer service or answer questions in any way. There must be a dozen other games operators in Melbourne alone, so go to any one of those instead, because your visit to Zax's will be memorable for all the wrong reasons. But they are hiring staff, and I think it's pretty easy to see why. Like a ship without a rudder. -In response to their response; No, nothing was explained to me at the front desk. Terrible customer service.

Person answering the phones is the worst first impression of the company possible. We needed some tokens in a pinch and she could not have made it more difficult. I screwed up and bought the wrong size, so I called back to ask if they have any others in stock and all she wanted to do was rant about how she told me i would need to reprogram my machines and wouldn't even listen to what I was saying. Deadset, I've never had worse service from a B2B interaction.

Best place to get parts for your games, they stock parts for old games like stacker and the delivery is extremely quick. I will definitely be buying again!

Purchased a Japanese coin pusher (medal game) from Zax late last year. Zax made sure the machine had everything it needed and was in full working condition, as well as arranged international shipping for me (I’m located in the US). The machine arrived packed well and in beautiful condition as promised. Zax has been extremely responsive when I’ve had questions or concerns about the machine, taking the time to walk me through any problems that have popped up. Zax has some games that are hard to find in the US so I will likely purchase from them again!

Be very careful. Sucks you in and then doesn’t want to know you when there is a problem

Have sent some tricky pcb repairs to Zax and they have always been returned in a timely manner, and for a reasonable cost(under estimate in one case). All repairs have been stable, ie still working 5 years on. When I'm sending gear from NZ I don't have time for flakey workmanship(freight gets expensive). I ask these guys to do something once and it's just done.

Been there twice over the past month. Great service and the guys there really look after you. Will be back for sure.

Most friendly guy you could hope to meet. I bought an arcade monitor to build a mame machine and he went above and beyond to help me. Showed me around the workshop, asked if there was anything i needed help with and told me to come in anytime just to have a play with the machines on demo. A credit to the business!!!
