Amazing deals and excellent prices! The store offers a wide range of choices, making it easy to find exactly what you need. The customer service is fantastic—staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is that when the store gets busy, it can be a bit difficult to find assistance. However, the overall shopping experience is great, with quality products and competitive pricing. Definitely a 5/5! Highly recommended!

Friendly people and good service

It has been a struggle to deal with this store. I bought several appliances and two were put on order. I was advised that I would receive notification upon their arrival. This was not the case. I had to follow up as tracking information was not changing. I collected one item. When I queried about the other item, they said it was still coming in from the warehouse. I phoned 5 days later to follow up and was informed that this item was End-of-line and it was never coming in the first instance. The last shop assistants were lovely and helpful, but clearly there is an issue with processes here.

Zip zero Nada customer service. Not even an acknowledgement of being in store.

Great service

I recently ordered a washing machine and fridge online from The Good Guys Ipswich during their Boxing Day Sale, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Both items were delivered on time, exactly as promised. The washing machine had a minor issue, but Jasmin, one of their staff members, went above and beyond to help me resolve it quickly. Her professionalism and willingness to assist made all the difference. I highly recommend The Good Guys – they truly live up to their name!

Still waiting for refund 6 weeks later. I accidental double paid for an item, they acknowledged it. 4 phones calls and 3 emails later they are still stuffing me around and not providing refund. They were very happy to take my money but not return what is not theirs.

The service was amazing and the knowledge Michael had was awesome, we got a great deal on all together. Would highly recommend this store for customer service and knowledge of items. Great variety of goods, staff are very helpful

Absolute rubbish to deal with needed a delivery yesterday was a no show was told it will be delivered by 1.15pm today and still no Show 😡 now its taking me 20 mins to try and get a hold from someone at the Ipswich store im not happy

Ordered a 55 inch TV online and went to pick it up at 7:30pm only to be rudely told that our warehouse is closed and warehouse timings are 9am-6pm. If that’s the case, then it should be written clearly on the email which says order is ready to collect. Very disappointed!

Well today I went into good guys Booval to buy a fridge and carpet cleaner no one came over so I could ask about the fridge after waiting for 15 minutes I walked out than went to Harvey Norman brought fridge carpet cleaner .Bad service good guy my sale went to Harvey Norman not impressed

Disgraceful service. People just standing around chatting doing nothing. I literally am standing Infront of the machines I want to purchase and have been for a good 20 minutes at least. I've even been for a walk to find the one I want on a shelf to just take it myself... I'm sure still no one would notice. Unbelievable

After purchasing a faulty new Samsung TV, Samsung were unwilling to assist even though it was covered by warranty. However, The Good Guys Ipswich arranged for it to be repaired under warranty through The Video Factory. Excellent service! Thank you!

Just tried to buy a new Motorola mobile phone since my mobile [supposedly 4G & 5G capable] no longer works due to the 3G shutdown. However The Good Guys were not prepared to state that the new one will definitely work considering the network changes, making a suggestion that I could always make a warranty claim or try changing to a new sim card if it didn't work??? Duh! ----- If I buy a new phone I expect to be able to walk out knowing that I can make phone calls

Very disappointed with my interaction today with the good guys booval. Went to purchase a portable aircon. Purchased after talking to a staff member and paying for the item. Go to loading dock to pick up the portable air con and was told that they won't load into my car if it isn't up right. Having two bulging discs I cannot lift. Returned to counter for refund. Waste of my time Now purchasing for a different retailer and staff their happy to help.

I purchased a freestanding dishwasher and picked it up today. Unfortunately, I discovered that the staff no longer assist customers with loading goods into their vehicles due to product handling policies. If this is indeed the case, this information should be clearly stated on the website so that customers can prepare accordingly. I had to load the dishwasher myself, and I am very disappointed with the service.

Lucas was amazing and gave great customer service. His knowledge on products was exceptional and he went above and beyond to help organise collection.

Unfortunately we visited on a Saturday morning and there seemed to be a shortage of staff. We finally were served and obtained our new coffee machine at an excellent price.

The staff that helped were great though unfortunately I had to search for people in every department and every time I needed help. Why is a place as big as Bunnings so crazily under-manned. In the end I gave up waiting.

We purchased a new Samsung Dishwasher from Good Guys Ipswich in August 2023. The dishwasher stopped working in May 2024 and we logged a service call and warranty claim. It is now 5 months later. 5 months of countless emails, broken promises and being given the general run around - and we still do not have a dishwasher. Terrible customer service. Terrible product. Would never shop here again.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the warranty procedure for my Samsung dishwasher purchased from Good Guys Ipswich. My initial claim was submitted on May 15, 2024. Despite Samsung attempting to find three different companies to repair the dishwasher, they failed to secure a suitable technician. Following this, they ceased all communication and closed the case. On July 27, I was assured by Teigan from Good Guys Ipswich that we would receive a store credit and arrangements would be made for the removal of the current dishwasher. Since then, I have called three times and sent three emails without any response. It has now been three months without a functioning dishwasher, which is unacceptable. I need this issue resolved immediately. We are now at the end of September and our dishwasher is still not working and no cooperation from Good Guys Ipswich.

Knowledgeable friendly staff,great stock selection and good deals to be had. It's been our go to for appliances for years and they've always beaten the opposition.

I needed a vacuum cleaner and would usually go to Godfreys but as they have now closed all stores, I decided to shop around and found The Good guys to be cheapest and they price match so was able to get a great deal, as I'm a cleaner its vital to have a store I can shop at which is convenient location, excellent customer service and great range of so many other products. I bought a Miele cat and dog bagless and it's so good works well and will be good for work. I would definitely recommend The good guys to anyone needing household item

My partner and I went in both Friday afternoon and Saturday morning last week, no service at all, they looked at us and walked past. One guy we waved at looked at us, walked right past and served a couple of girls instead. We left. Then yesterday my partner went in again to buy the JBL 310 speaker, same thing happened, no service at all. He needed up going to the Oxley store where the sales staff couldn’t be more helpful and got the sale. We will not be going to booval ever again due to this.

Went into the store today, was there about 20 odd minutes looking at vacuums and other items. Not one staff member came to give us a hand with anything. Would've spent close to 700 bucks there if they had. Got completely ignored and store wasn't that busy. Harvey Norman it is from now on

We once again had a great shopping experience at the Good Guys Booval store on 11/8/24. We were served by Michael, our go to salesman there. We have had Michael serve us on several occasions, and it doesn't matter what we are looking for, he can tell us everything we need to know. He is very well versed, and it is a pleasure to have him to deal with.

The sales rep gave us his undivided attention and gave us a quick rundown of all ovens in the price bracket we were looking at. He answered all our questions and helped us get just what we were after quickly and efficiently. It was a very good experience.

We stopped into a few retailers to get prices on a new washing machine and deep freeze , the service from David stood out to us compared to the other retailers , his knowledge of his products and his customer service was absolutely fantastic, hence we returned and purchased the goods. Rikki was amazing from good guy, she went above and beyond to get me a stove delivered next day because we were without. I cannot thank her enough. She didn't have to do that for us but she did. She needs a raise because you don't find many staff anymore with her amazing dedication and commitment to customers. Again thank you Rikki, I owe you big time.

Very rude staff they wouldn't stop starring at me

My fridge that I purchased 2 years ago is still going well, and also had a very good experience with buying that fridge so no issues here

Last Thursday we were in Toowoomba doing the rounds of appliance stores, trying to get the best price on a gas/gas stove/oven. It got extremely frustrating and I was starting to loose hope of finding the stove I wanted. Sales people were either not interested in getting out of their chair to help, or just weren't helpful. As a last resort I rang The Good Guys in Booval. The phone was answered by a lovely woman by the name of Kylie. I told Kylie what I was after, in the quickest response, Kylie had answered my prayers and said yes she had the exact oven I was after, and when she told me the price, you could imagine my excitement. I told her we lived about 3 hours away, but would come immediately to pick it up. I had paid for it on line, and the transaction was hassel free, and I was so over the moon. We could not believe that with Kylie's help my dream was forfilled. I cannot speak highly enough of Kylie and her amazing customer service and knowledge of products. I only wish I could of thanked her personally when we picked it up. Whenever I need something again, I will certainly be going straight to The Good Guys Booval, and will see Kylie. Thank you so much. 😊

Myself and my partner went there to buy a fridge we were standing at the service counter waiting to be served for quite some time. 3x customer service ladies behind the counter were to busy talking to each other felt like myself and my partner wasn’t even there we felt like walking out

They take your money but don't bother arranging to get the spare vacuum cleaner battery to me. It's been a month and they only need to get the item from another store. Multiple phone calls to them, false promises to phone me back, post the item to me, no action. Poor customer service. I just should have shopped at a different store. Still waiting.

Purchased a new iPhone and plan. Adam was fantastic. He was professional, friendly and efficient. He even rang us later that day to make sure we hadn’t had any issues transferring all the data from the old phone to the new phone. Thank you, Adam!

They don't do what they said. Never call me back or never email me. Took a month to organise a new washing machine through Concierge and still haven't got one yet..we will never shop here again.

It’s a good store and has most of the stock advertised, trying to engage with staff can be hard, there’s not many of them and they are always busy. On a number of occasions, I have purchased items here, the staff at the counter asked me who served me, I’ve said on 3 occasions, no one, I haven’t been able to talk to anyone.

Got told we would receive a 250$ instore cash with the purchase of a fridge, never received it. Contacted store who said they would get someone to call us, never got a call back and now it's expired. I was going to help a close family friend using that store cash. Maybe your sales people shouldn't tell customers things if you can't deliver on them. Won't be back.

I've been to this store so many times and have come to the realisation that the reason they always have 'in stock' is because they don't serve customers

Amazing customer service and expertise from Adam. I came in under a lot of stress from an Optus outage and terrible Optus customer service. Adam switched me to Telstra, gave me a great deal, shared heaps of knowledge and got me sorted within 30mins. He was so great that I came back and bought more products from him later in the week. 1000% will be coming back to see him when we need more appliances.

Disaster of a store. Wasted so much of my time this week that once I'm finally refunded, I'll never set foot in there again. Avoid them wherever possible, even if it means purchasing from Harvey Norman.

Huge shoutout to Ebony and the sales manager at the Ipswich Good Guys. Ebony greeted me immediately as I entered the store and assisted with my purchase of an iMac. She went above an beyond while making me feel comfortable in store. The sales manager offered the best prices and quality for the goods I purchased and both staff members even brought the stuff out to my car. Legit the best service I’ve ever received 🙏

We happily dealt with this business for many years but recently service has become beyond terrible. We purchased a new Haier washing machine and 'gold service' extra warranty. We purchased this particular machine because it was the only one available in store on the day. Within a week we had a fault with the heating pump. Was told we need to bring the machine back in and that there were no replacements available so we'd have to wait indefinitely or purchase something else. After paying for a much more expensive bosch model and the upgrade cost on the warranty the old machine was picked up but the new one was nowhere to be seen days later. A phone call revealed that the Bosch we'd just been sold was not in stock either. After some chasing we were offered the floor stock model which we were advised was in great condition. We received it and it was obviously marked and damaged and the hoses with rusted fittings looked like they belonged to a 20 year old machine. After finally agreeing to a price reduction we requested the invoice to be able to claim the rebate currently offered by the government and pushed in store for the sale. It took almost 6 weeks to get a copy of the invoice which resulted in us missing the 30 day turn timeline to make a claim. When called to discuss the operations manager of the Ipswich store (Dion) was as unhelpful and unconcerned as the rest of his staff. Absolutely painful experience that cost us far far more than we bargained for. Would give 0/5 if I could - I hate to support Harvey Norman but anyone is better than these clowns.

Great service friendly service BUT was so hot and stuffy in there didn’t want to hang around prompt service meant we did buy what we came for but a cooler store would have kept us there longer and probably spent more

We purchased a new split system airconditioner using Interest free. The strore clerk has made an error when doing the transaction in-store. We have has the machine for 5 weeks before we received an interest payment on our Credit account. After contacting the store manager he has bluntly refused to assist as it is outside of 30 day period to return and therfor is not his problem. When i said that this isn't good enough he simply said to me well I am hanging up the phone and continued to do so. We are now expected to pay interest of $47 a month on a $1600 purchase. No help, no care , no craps given.

Have had to take an item back for repair 3 times under the gold extras banner, what a joke the item is faulty they will not swap it out for a new one as they claim there is nothing wrong with the item. It keeps tripping my power and burning out our safety switch. Have had an electrician out 3 times at $800 a pop to fix my switch board not to mention the inconvenience of driving there each time (30 min drive each way) could have purchased a whole new machine with the amount I've spent on an electrician. what a bloody joke. Will never shop here again

My Chromebook I got there in April is the biggest piece of rubbish going tried to turn it off and all it's doing is showing me a white screen and not turning off I'll be taking you to small claims court unless a replacement is delivered to my house tomorrow. Last month on the I brought JBL earbuds there they are rubbish don't shop here unless you want to be ripped off. Tried to call them to leave a message and they are to lazy to have that option available. Don't shop here they are lazy and close before their17:30 closing time. I'll be taking them to small claims court over this because they messed me around with some nonsense about the serial number for the bluetooth headphones. I'll be contacting the office of fair trade tomorrow. Brought an Asus laptop there don't bother with these clowns the laptop isn't that old and the keyboard is stuffed already. I'll be taking them to small claims court over this nonsense.

2 day delivery. What a joke. Still waiting 6 days after purchase and I live 20 minutes from the Ipswich store (that had the fridge in stock) Harvey Norman is only 1 minute around the corner. Save yourself a bad experience! Update now Wednesday (2 days later) - received a text saying delivered, rate your experience. No delivery. Rang the 1300 number, they are chasing it up.. that was an hour ago. My guess is someone got a new fridge. What an absolute nightmare. I will never buy from them again!

We bought a Westinhouse upright Oven from here , It is barely a year old and the oven has stopped working , still under warranty . We contacted the Good Guys and they were not at all helpful and bumped us off to electrolux who they said handle warranty matters . Electrolux said they could not help us for weeks and they were booked up. We are a large family and now we have no working oven for an extended period of time . If i had known that the products and their warranties from the Good Guys were of this poor quality then i would have not purchased with them. Buyer beware is my advise people ! . Buying a major household appliance should be backed by quality service as well as the goods being high quality , this is certainly not the case with The Good Guys.... Maybe they should rebrand the business to The Bad Guys " .... NOT HAPPY CUSTOMERS !!"

We went instore today just to browse. We were served by a lovely lady with long red hair, Caitie, who was so helpful, quick and didn’t hover around us just to make a sale! Kind of wanted to buy more stuff just because her service was amazing. I called the store to let them know aswell but needed to leave this review for everyone else. Thanks Caitie!!

understaffed and unhelpful

We went it to store this morning to buy a chest freezer but no one wanted to help us there were staff everywhere but they ignored us so we went up the main counter and asked the lady for some help she tried to get us some assistance but no one came we were the only ones in the store apart from another family after waiting for a while the lady at the counter apologised and said it shouldn’t be much longer but no one came so we went down the road to Harvey Norman and brought a 300lt chest freezer there

Unfortunately the worst customer service experience ever, they dont greet or acknowledge you, and when you stand at the front counter for a few moments and get ignored by multiple staff member's who are far too busy talking to each other, your then treated like a hassle and interruption to their conversation. Would never ever attempt to shop in this store again. Clearly everyone here needs basic sales and customer service training or perhaps a serious attitude realignment.

I have had ups and downs with my experiences here in the past, mostly good though.The staff they have as of 2023 are really good and very knowledgeable, though they don't do as big a discount for cash as what they used to. But all in all, you can't deny they are still one of the top three, for price, amongst stores that still have an open showroom. I know I like to go and see what I am buying in person.

Always has good prices and good range of products

Went in for a vacuum where Daniel assisted me fantastically with great product knowledge and helped me find the right vacuum at a great price. We then went on to buying a new TV where Daniel again helped us tremendously. Fantastic customer service could have hoped for better. Thank you.

Poor customers service

Bought online for next day delivery a week later only have half of order in-store is no help but to give web store contact number... absolutely hopeless will probobally never shop there again..

My MIL purchased us a brand new washing machine for us from here as she had never had issues and valued their gold class concierge coverage and customer service over the years. We collected the said washing machine that same day and took it home, things weren’t coming out as clean or fresh as we would’ve liked them but brushed it off as it might need some wearing in. Took us a couple weeks to come to the conclusion that it was a dud, clothes would come out still smelling or soiled no matter the detergent or wash cycle that we used, we contacted them immediately to be met with hostility and no remorse for not being able to do the basic need of doing our washing. They informed us we needed to have a technician come out and look at the machine, which we understood and agreed to. Technician comes out and assess’s the machine for 5mins if that and says there’s nothing wrong, we said otherwise and the manufacturer agrees to give us a change of mind and credit back to the good guys to choose another. Comes to the day we go in to choose our new washing machine, the one we chose is not in stock of course and they said it would be a 1-2 month wait not even offering to find us one at another store nearby. We asked to get our money back so we could go elsewhere and purchase the machine and pick it up straight away and they refused because we purchased the gold service. After knowing this I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to purchase this as it’s no better than a scam and gold service was not what we experienced. After us pushing for it the lady agreed to check and found one nearby and said she would schedule it for delivery, we go home and await confirmation to be told it would take another week to arrive - not ideal but we understood. The day comes for delivery we tell them what time we will be home, comes to 30mins before the window of 3 hours ends and it has been cancelled. I contacted the store and they said it’s not in their control and it’s a third party delivery, we asked for the delivery to be rescheduled for the next day in the morning as I had to work in the afternoon and would not be able to receive it. Then I get a message saying the delivery estimate would be for the late afternoon WHEN WE ARENT HOME. I call them again and all she can offer me is a redelivery for 4 days later on the weekend and said it wasn’t their fault, asked to speak to a manager and she was less than helpful just kept saying ‘there’s nothing she can do’ and that I was ‘going around in circles’ and when I asked for my money back again she refused. 3 months now without a working washing machine and still waiting for our replacement. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had a rather pleasant trip to the Booval store today. I had made a click and collect order for some headphones. Only noticed after I'd paid that there was discount code for the item. About $40 difference. The counter staff were only to happy to apply the code and save me some $. Definitely The Good Guys.
