This is a very good buffet place for us. Price per person is very affordable. It gives variety of international cuisine and seafood. Ambiance is family friendly.

Came here on a weeknight, with a large family group, to celebrate a birthday. First time visit to WG Hotel and glad we chose this place. We were seated right in front of the playground which was handy. Good assortment of fresh and tasty food, even had something for our picky eaters! All our group complimented the food. Super friendly staff and good/comfortable atmosphere.

No acknowledgement or smile by the staff .Bar male staff was full of attitude ,like he don't want us their. The seating arrangement was not good either ,too many seats and hard to walk thru.Staff was not clearing tables on time . These shouldn't be the standards of a hotel ,Eating at the restaurant is much better compare to this place.

Great food. Staff are very hard working and attentive to customers. Cleaning was carried out to a very high standard. I saw the waitress cleaning every part of every chair. Good to see. Well done.

It’s okay if you want a quick and easy meal with kids, as they have a nice little playground. When we visited the soda machine was broken and they were charging nearly a $6 for a glass bottle of coke. The variety is pretty good. The noodle station is a great addition and tasty. Everything else needed more salt. The desserts were a let down. The sticky date is 1/10, they 100% need to find a new recipe. The rest of the cakes looked dry so I didn’t bother trying. The chocolate mousse was also not very nice. Like I said it is average and they would not want to increase the price too much more because for $40 there are a lot of nicer places to go.

This is my preferred dining place, always clean and tidy, excellent food variety, highly recommend :):):):):)

He is approachable, caring and keeps the area very safe. I have notice the public that come to the vicinity feel safe and they all like him. He is good at managing any issues that takes place and dissolves conflicts. He is a very friendly staff He also helps out with disable people that come to the gaming area. Well done to Fardi. Staff require training and understanding around the . A foreign passport is an acceptable form of ID under the Tobacco Act 1987 (VIC). This has not changed for 3 decades.

The food was amazing the The waiters were good but in the end of the night I go with my friends to have drink in gaming room and because they are Japanese with Japanese licenses they do not accept the license because Japanese that is not right. I think that is very bad. we are all the same. My friend was an adult just because ID is Japanese. No good. That is not right. I am very unhappy with how they were treated. I will not be returning because of the way they were treated, I cannot believe that.

I advice people don't go to this place. The staff is very raciest. I win there and the staff start following me and asking me for some money .when i refuse the staff to give them money then the security guard start saying you are ban from this place. Then i politely ask him what is your name sir then he refused to provide me his name and start provoking me to come out and fight . I never face this type of behavior in any another place.

I've dined at the WH buffet a couple of times including their Christmas eve dinner. The variety and quality of food is great. The spicy crab served on the Christmas eve is fantastic! Professional and friendly staff. Nice ambience and ample parking.

$42 per person (boxing day public holiday) is reasonable when the food is good, but the food was terrible. $252 for 6 people is a lot for sub- standard food. Been many times before and there was much more variety. Not this time. Would think twice before going again. Extremely disappointed.

Dont do Christmas day only have regular buffet. No roast potatoes no cracking no duck very disappointed

I have eaten here before the food was fifty-fifty. I was hopeful that the Christmas Eve buffet will be much better, but No. It was disappointing again. It said seafood buffet but they limited the seafood on display and some were not fresh. Not coming again even for any occasion. Just sad.

Came here for christmas day . What an unpleasant experience . Absolute chaos it was . Just ate anything because the lines were that long. Food was average too . Never again. Money making scam today

I've been coming here with friends, family and staff from work for about 6 years. It's still one of my favorite buffet restaurants to visit.

We ate at the buffet, great selection, meals were hot, lots of variety, food was lovely! Staff very friendly, & helpful. We have had the pleasure of eating there a few times in the last month, each week they have a different variety so it’s never the same, lots of choices!

The gaming room is freezing cold. The foyer and dining room is a nice temperature but the gaming room was such a huge difference in temperature, is like walking into a cool room. This was on a cool evening outside too. Don’t go if you have breathing difficulties in the cold. I told staff but they didn’t care and said they were working hard and it’s fine for them. Just not comfortable when it’s so cold.

The best buffet in the Western suburbs. Watergardens hotel always offer delicious food and fantastic customer service. Their consistency is second to none!

Amazing experience here! Service was beautiful and the food was delicious. (My fav is the Chicken Black Bean) We didn’t have a booking and it was crazy busy but Som - our gorgeous Manager was still able to seat us. It was crazy busy and she still managed to cater to everyone’s needs! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK 😍🥰

Great food, the service was great, the ladies did a great job keeping our tables clean. The only let down was this young child that wouldn’t stop crying. Next time I need to request to be far from the play area.

Nice, simple buffet lunch

3 adults (13yo+) & 1 child $137 I havent visited Watergardens hotel buffet for a year and unfortunately it has declined terribly. I dont know if the chef’s were having a bad day but the food was tasteless. Gravy was watery, and seafood wasn’t very fresh. There was a lack of variety in food with near to a third of the buffet warmers empty. The deserts were ok. Sticky date pudding was the best! Of all the dishes available the curries were the better tasting options. This spot is usually a favourite for us which is why we make the 40 minute drive. The parking is good, location is good and the customer service was and always has been good. I will visit again and hopefully be able to write a review that above 4*

This is definitely a perfect place for families. Theres such a wide variety of food like pasta, pizza, noodles, soup, curries, salads, roast vegetables, seafood, heaps of different types of meats. I personally loved the bean salad and the calamari rings. But the best part of the entire thing was 100% the desserts. Omg i have never had anything better in my life. The chocolate mousse was top notch, so was the creme brulee, sticky date pudding, chocolate pudding, ice cream, and literally all the desserts. I would go here again JUST for the desserts. Super friendly staff to!

Just so pleasantly surprised and impressed with this beautiful lunch. A long way from home but would go back in the blink of an eye. Really nice staff and food was perfect.

My wife and wife are so happy with the buffet lunch on 28/6/24. Services are very good warm and friendly. Foods are hot and many choices to choose. We will be back soon. Keep up the good work

I was greeted very politely by the receptionist taking my booking. I told her about the needs of a couple of our family members & was told of the best option we could choose: near toilets especially disabled & a mothers room for changing babies, a playroom for the toddler with us (who had a fantastic time running his uncles into exhaustion 🤣!!) AND … close to the food service area!!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC - THE NIGHT WENT VERY SMOOTHLY & WAS ENJOYED BY ALL!!!

They put an old lady in the section where the gaming machines are. I was going to get a beer, she said she would come but she didn't come for 15 minutes. I bought 3 beers and then I bought something to eat. She spoke very rudely and she was a person who definitely did not deserve to work in such a beautiful place. I can't believe it. How can such a beautiful place work with such people?

The first attendant clearly was not a people person. However the attendant at the bar plus other workers were completely opposite. Nice and friendly. Made the environment welcoming. Food ain’t great anymore for the money we paid

We had a function here and the staff were amazing! From the get go, Olta was so helpful and the bar staff on the night were so friendly and accommodating and made the night easy for us. Highly recommend having a function down in the functions room.
