Very pleasant lunch - staff were very attentive, food was excellent and served without delay notwithstanding that the Bistro was very busy - staff assisted with special cake as it was a celebratory lunch and assisted with taking photographs. Full marks!

The staff are generally friendly and helpful, with one exception, which is understandable given that perfection is unattainable. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is considerably more relaxing than other pubs.

The bistro we sat near the fireplace. The service was friendly and the food was great. Would go there again and recommend it. Ring up and book if you are going as it is busy.

Lovely Meals as always The waite staff are always happy and so polite especially a little lass called Tamika we have had her serve us a couple of times now and she has a beautiful bubbly personality, I would love to thank all your staff from the front desk to the back of restaurant for wonderful food and service 😋🙂🙂👏

Its been a while since I wrote this review and nothing has changed to alter my/our opinion. The service from all the staff was exemplary, as was the food. Chose one of the Tuesday special deal (Porterhouse) which was cooked to perfection. Enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff.

Attended the Tina turner Tom jones tribute show with dinner n it was a great show n dinner but there was 1 staff member short hair with glasses absolutely nasty person as we ordered da beef instead of pork for dietary reasons but she insisted very rudely we couldn't do that n da lady next to us said not to wory but she so nasty.....people like this bring bad taste to da whole establushment unfortunately......

Great venue for pokies and drinks. The food is pretty good too! Recommend getting a membership as it gives you discounts for drinks and food.

Always a good meal here Has a courtesy driving service to locals. Wise to book ahead of time, as it can be quite busy. 4 of us visit regularly for lunch and coffee, and never a complaint about the meals or drink prices. As opposed to Club Kilsyth where meals are expensive, hit or miss in quality, and drinks very expensive. Wish they would bring back the Sunday Buckets of Prawns. They were great!

Great food, served quickly (being a Monday night would've helped), and great service by staff who suggested taking our birthday cake out of the fridge half an hour before serving AND actually remembered to do it and came to let me know! Thanks so much 🙏

Love going here. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is good and well priced. Drinks are also a good price. Atmosphere is excellent.

Six of us went to lunch and then a live show. The service was very slow. We were seated and ordered before 1pm. We were still waiting for our meal at 2pm, when it finally came, and thats when the doors to the show opened. We missed most of the opening act. I also ordered coffee and cake in the interval. It also took over an hour to arrive. The Seniors rump, 3 serves, all reported toughness, mostly edible but not enjoyable.

Yesterday, we had our probus club Christmas lunch at Knox club. The food was fantastic. I had Pork and the vegetables were soft enough to eat. Some places need to take a leaf out of your book instead of dried out meat and you need a chainsaw to try to cut your vegetables( To Hard).In my opinion your standards are the best and no one can top that.MERRY CHRISTMAS and keep up the good work 😃🎅🎄🧚‍♀️

We have been twice at around 7:30 pm with mixed experiences on both occasions. On the first occasion, the steak on offer was no longer available and the substitute, which was porterhouse, was very tough. The Chicken Parma was beautiful. On the second occasion, our Chicken Parma and Calamari meals were beautiful but the Creme Brulee dessert was no longer available and the bar had run out of fresh lemon for drinks.

This is our go to place for our work reunion lunches, they provide a great meal at a reasonable price and always have staff who are friendly and helpful !!

Had a fantastic evening there on Saturday night. It was busy, but Meals came out in good time and were delicious. The tree people who had steak all found it to be cooked to their liking and tender. The two of us who had the chicken Parma struggled to finish it due to the large portion size - but I managed to as it was just so yummy. It was our first visit - but it certainly won't be the last!

I had for dinner the Chef's special, Duck Pie which came with a gravy pot and asian noodle salad. The taste was exceptional and even my partner who doesn't like duck tasted it and really liked it.

The food is cold and horrible, avoid eating here at all costs

A great place to go to..had a great night..

Lovely setting, and staff were very good but unfortunately the food was average. The chef's lamb backstrap special was so tough, it was not enjoyable to eat. My son was disappointed with his chicken parmigiana too. It's unfortunate because I remember the food being so much better when I used to go there often.

Just love this bright, open, modern place! Service is fantastic and wide variety of food on the menu. Good value for money. Make sure you order the garlic bread to start!

The Knox Club was established before poker machines were legalised in Victoria and has undergone some changes in the 30 plus years since they began turning them. It's on a great location and is easy to navigate to. Has plenty of off-street parking that is well lit at night. Has a sports bar and hosts many pay per view events. Also has a well run bistro as well as a well populated poker machine venue.

My husband and I really enjoy our time at the Knox Club. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu in the bistro is vast and delicious.

The place is busy & everything is clean, prompt & pleasant. Unfortunately the Open Souvlaki tonight was lacking much substance for the price. It cost $24 & half the size of a $14 Souvlaki at the local takeaway. Stick with the yummy cheesy garlic bread though.

Two weeks in a row, dried out dinners,staff are always nice but the food is another story. Well a year later and you have failed again. Strike 1 signing in we where greeted by a sour grumpy person obviously having a bad day not a good start,later we where at the front desk when our friends arrived they where greeted by two lovely smiling girls. Strike 2 whilst waiting at the bar for service we waited and waited while we watched at least 5 staff walking around doing something as l was the only person standing at the bar for quite a while until this other person walked up to the other end of the bar and was served strait away. Strike 3 as per normal the chips cold as. We had the Lamb Shanks the meat was lovely tender and hot the same cannot be said about the vegetables must have got them out of the same fridge as the chips. Then there's the sauce poured over the shanks BLAND tasteless as. Strike 4 the noise coming from the kitchen obviously the cutlery was being thrown from a great distance into something this went on for some time we have experienced similar rudeness and disrespectful behaviour before in your premises at a funeral wake the bar staff where throwing bottles and glasses around whilst the eulogy was happening. Unfortunately people keep going back but this is one place l wouldn't even consider.

Friendly and modern good prices.

Our local club since moving to Victoria in April and we're never disappointed with the great service and food. Prices are very competitive and membership offers discounts that make a visit worth it.

Service was terrible

Great food great service and great people

I joined as a member last week and had lunch here last week and today. I will be a regular on most Wednesdays. Last week I ordered the Vindaloo and it was amazing and my friend ordered the Roast of the Day which was pork and it was a generous serve and he loved it. We both left the club feeling very full and satisfied. However today was a little disappointing. I ordered the Roast of the Day which was beef and the portion was small with only a small amount of gravy. I’m not a big eater and I wasn’t full at all. My friend had the fish and chips and his portion was small too. We will be coming back though as even though the food was very different each week so far the service and friendliness of the staff is top notch.

Went today it was an hour well 55mins for food asked twice what's going on there catching the food funny joke when food turns up but nothing did been going for 10 years not anymore no staff care anymore

Food has become so bad guys! And not just once off bad - like every single week that I visit bad.

We have been in for lunch two days in a row with family and friends. Both days have been great with the menu and quality of the food good. Particular mention to the staff who have been friendly and helpful. Congratulations.

Had a Monday family lunch came from the northern suburbs and it was worth it. Lovely place, ample parking, pleasant service and the food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Had a very enjoyable meal at the club on a Monday night, from being picked up by the courtesy bus through to the meals and service everything ticked all the boxes

Just to make my review clear this is not about the whole club or the place but an employee of them that is carrying their name. Sorry if this might affect the Club’s name but i will put a 1 star because of their BUS DRIVER. He is a reckless driver who will cause an accident. Especially if your professionalism is carrying lives of people too and also bringing shame to your workplace. He drive so close to cars when driving, failing to indicate where he is going and seems to have no idea about the rules of driving, in the exam of driving licensure you should see the back wheel of the car in front of you for safety and if you need to brake you will have enough time this applies when you’re driving on a 60km/hr zone and under if faster even further. But he drive so close that some people are panicking and the car in front is having a hard time braking not knowing if the bus will have time to brake. Again nothing against the Club probably a good place just on your driver.
