Best establishment I’ve been to amazing drinks food and service 5/5 would recommend

Customer service in VIP Lounge has dropped with some of the new staff members. 90% of staff are 🤩

Rude management and uneducated staff, this place needs to work on their communication and the short fuse manager needs to really consider her role and position at this venue. Come in with a minor to have a drink and we’re told we can only go into the bistro area to then be told after we purchased a round of drinks to leave if we do not order any food. I work in hospitality myself and I would never treat any customer the way she did. Will never return.

This is probably the most unprofessional and bad serviced pub I have ever been to. The staff need to go this route around behind the counter, talking instead of serving customers

These places simply exist to facilitate gambling. We ducked in for a few drinks to kill some time. Staff are very friendly. The overwhelming deodorants used to cover the smell of smoking gamblers is sickening. I wish there was a nicer place to grab a drink.

Quite boring. The poker machines are a drag. It would be better if they had more pool tables and air hockey. Some music. Maybe a DJ? Other places have a DJ. At least some decent music. All you hear is sports. If you want to gamble your money away. This is the place to come. Boring atmosphere and no greeting on entry. Update: Your poker machines destroy lives. People will take their own life over losing on a machine. One time, the owner or manager there, hated all Assyrian people, and threw us all out. I was personally beat up by the manager there for no reason. No reason whatsoever and when I told the Police, they didn't listen. There is a reason why many Assyrians never came back to your pub. Because we were actually grabbed by the owner or manager with Red hair back then, and he threw us out one by one onto the pavement outside. The police seemed to allow it. It was very violent. And we did nothing wrong. None of us. We were their best customers that never came back. They used to have bands there. No more. I had been coming there for a very long time. I do not drink alcohol and I do not place those machines. Why would I want to come there? What food do you have? I don't like the angry bouncers outside. When I took a photo for Google of your establishment? Your bouncer threatened me with violence. Started screaming at me when I was across the road in my car. He got paranoid. Some young security guard. You scare people from coming there. You even closed your bottle shop. You Pub used to be one the of greatest places we had in Fairfield and your machines destroyed it. I would rather eat at the Cambridge Hotel where they don't have intimidating security guards. They are super-friendly. They open longer hours. Their food is amazing. They have pool tables we can play on and eat at the same time. You are full of excuses saying you have no room. That's is just an excuse sir. And a poor one at that. If you are so sorry, why don't you offer something to get us to come back. How about an apology for that pub treating us like garbage? Your best customers do not forget. I went to take a friend there for a beer and because she was aboriginal. She was asked to leave for no reason. And that was just last year. You are racist people. You are lucky I even reviewed your place and took a photo I will gladly take it away and replace it with a photo of your angry security guard who threatens people. They belong in Kings Cross, not the streets of Fairfield. If it where another place they would offer a free beer or some food. No, you don't allow people to stand and have a cold one without having to play your machines. Fairfield is rapidly changing. And we don't want your machines anymore. They are loud and annoying. I support the good old Cambridge tavern mate. Your staff can be very rude at times. And that will not bring us back. Not when you kick people out for the color of their skin. That is disgusting. That day she cried because of your pub. And for that, I will never support your business ever again. Actions speak louder than words. Saying we are sorry is not good enough. If you message our radio station again with replies that anger us. We will broadcast you to the whole world. We are a huge radio station that broadcasts all over the internet and have millions of followers. You want your customers back with a nice review? Fix your place up. Teach your staff how to behave like adults, not children. And the racism discrimination is abhorrent. Such a shame a place with so much history, was destroyed by the staff behavior and your gambling machines.

I visited the hotel on 26th may 2024, was very impressed with the restaurant service and delicious food served! Went to play poker and machine got jammed! The attended and the Duty manager went far and beyond to help me out! Really appreciate great customer service! 👍

Management is disrespectful

Most abusive and toxic management I’ve ever come across. Patrons are clearly unhappy and let it out on the machines, physically and mentally—punters (addicts) are highly enabled here. Fairfield Hotel is solely for money making/laundering purposes, which couldn’t be more obvious. Infested with rats and roaches, I’m unsure how this business hasn’t been closed down by health inspectors. The bar itself is filthy and outdated. Patrons are banned every week, for questionable reasons driven by managers on power trips. The pub is located in a dangerous, dimly lit corner of Fairfield which fits the dodgy nature of this place. The food is expensive and mediocre, and with how small servings are, you’d wish you dined somewhere else. Fairfield Hotel is nothing more than a quick stop to launder your money, enjoy a drink surrounded by angry gambling addicts, and get ripped off by the kitchen. Do not waste your time here.

What a dismal dining experience. Understaffed, long wait times despite an embarrassingly low number of people in seats, and the staff available were not able to concisely answer when asked about allergy friendly options and cross-contamination for a severe allergy. Drinks were flat and near room temp, as if they had been sitting out for a while or had just been stocked into the fridge. Wanted to enjoy our night as I had previously been to this establishment and had a straightforward experience with friendly and bubbly staff, but it seems they have let their standards drop through the floor. We have let our friends whom frequented Fairfield Hotel know not to return until they bring back what it was.

I feel quite embarrassed for suggesting Fairfield Hotel to my family. I’ve eaten here a few times before, but after the experience we had today, I don’t think we’ll be returning. My family and I came for dinner but left unsatisfied. Pricey menu, mediocre food, poor quality beers and unattractive atmosphere. After paying, I kindly wanted to speak with management about our experience in further detail, but they didn’t care to hear our feedback.

Easiest hospital for access drop off and pick up

It's a good pub to gamble and has good jackpots and good service but the clientele is really low class. I go there for a good laugh and some excitement as there's bound to be something interesting taking place.

Excellent customer service and support to be able to bring the best way into the place and recommend that experience with things as a drink and food generosity for the ongoing success to makes sense why there is no reason to be no happy to be able to pay attention to the team and support the venue to host more than unexpected for improving the quality of our lovely city of Fairfield to get the chance to meet the requirements to Rich the first line of having the opportunity to provide the best way into the historical society of that place and the other side of the area for making the most of the customers happy by the way of getting smile on faces and to be friendly as the team been in contact with others in such way to makes me feel pretty good and I do respect the natural environment and the simplicity of being a great host to be able to not to mention going through hard times with your day out .. everything in Fairfield hotel so good to go with and without any chance to be upset from anything else that makes any chance to be not coming back to the same place and recommend that experience to others who may want to ask about the Fairfield city or not been able to get the chance to meet with people who lives in Fairfield.. Went to the Green Peppercorn Thai restaurant here. Been here a few times. Food is always awesome!

Best and authentic Thai food I can find in Sydney. Enjoyed the food plus service was also great. A large range of draught beer on tap and wonderful cocktails. A great night out any day here. My all time favourite restaurant in town. I keep coming back and I am never dissapointed.

Well, actually we had dinner a few days ago at Green Peppercorn Thai Restaurant. This restaurant part of the Fairfield Hotel. The food were OK but not great. We've got served by young waitress. All she focused only write down our orders' menu without try to ask us whether we'd like the food spicy or not spicy. Because that's what Thai food about..spicy, sweet, sour. Also surprisingly the Soft shell crab menu so salty.

Not bad, but service very slow.
