We were going to India for holidays in Dec 24 and during our time we wanted a device for our 11 year old which she could use to practice her NAPLAN.Also so that I can watch Netflix, prime shows. We purchased a tablet, surface pro from Pro tech and the price was reasonable and good working condition. The service is awesome too and accommodating. I highly recommend Protech solutions if ever someone wants to buy a second hand device as it is reasonably priced and works well.

ProTech IT Solutions sold me a dud Apple Watch Ultra that stopped turning on within 3 months for $759. They explicitly stated the item came with a warranty of 6 months however now state water damage has caused the issue. This is despite me not using the Apple Watch Ultra in the water, and regardless it's an Apple Watch Ultra which is supposed to be a 40m capable diving watch. I suspect I was sold a very old watch with worn out seals and my daily exercise caused the failure. Now they are hiding behind their 'supplier' and stating there's nothing they can do, forcing me to contact Consumer Affairs Victoria when I simply wanted a refund within the advertised warranty period.

Great laptop have no issues

Incompetent, overpromised, underdelivered, possibly fraud. Brought my computer in to get my power supply fixed, cos I thought lets support the local business and save my time. Then got a message days later saying that the pc turns on/off with new power supply they got. Then they offered me $295 for a refurbished PC with similar specs i7 16 gig ram. I thought to myself thats a good deal. When the pc came in, its AMD A8 with 8 gig ram, they said its a problem with their supplier, but then they dont check it before delivering to customer?? I picked up my old pc, and spent an hour taking it apart myself, replaced the power supply, and voila works like a dream. You have incompetent technicians, maybe hire me next time. Now I have a $295 paper weight, I'll just donate this to someone.

Very friendly and professional, with good knowledge to back up their recommendations. Due to their large stock, they can always recommend the right computer for the job, because they have it! Pricing is great, and the refurbished machines are immaculately clean inside, and thoroughly prepared to a like new condition. Warranty is great and gives peace of mind too. You would think that there would be more computer dealers like this, but there really doesn't need to be, because we have these guys.

I had a broken screen and dropped by to organise a laptop replacement - this was urgent as I was leaving the country in a few days. I must have been the most difficult customer because I was extremely picky with which laptop I was getting and for what price. Faz was patient (and not pushy) and gave me the time I needed. Well I must have needed even more time, because by the time I got home that evening I realised the laptop I chose wasn't going to be suitable! Luckily, however, ProTech assisted with return of the laptop and provided a refund the following week. Thank you for your patience and excellent customer service, I am sure I will be back again for a repair from one of their expert staff!

I gave my hard drive on 8/6/24, was told they could recover the data. After numerous excuses and delays, nothing was done. I picked up my hard drive on 2/7/24, so waited close to a month for literally nothing. Waste of my time, very unprofessional and poor service.

Inadvertently I came across Pro-Tech IT Solutions on the website and contacted them which was the best decision made. Faisal and Fahad have excellent customer service skills, knowledgeable about their products, great overview of what could be used with specifications and associated costs are so reasonable in comparison to other locations. I bought a laptop at a great discounted price as a gift. When I tried to get it to run the game the recipient wanted it to play, I had a few problems with the videocard. Turns out it was my ignorance but the worker was so patient, helpful and on it, guiding me to the solution over the phone. A simple windows update I hadn't yet done was the culprit. They also delivered after hours and were great with communication, I called and texted a lot. Sorry if I was annoying but you really made our whole month! Well, I ordered a Macbook mid 2011 online and by the time I picked it up he asked me “what will you use it for” so I said for school stuff. Apparently since it’s a very old one it won’t do, he recommended me early 2014 which I can use Microsoft 365 on. Now, oh boy, I’m really liking this. Thing is, they don’t just “sell” gadgets. They look outside the box and identify the needs of their consumers (I got the Macbook for a good price!) Rating it 12 out of 10! Store recommended!

Unprofessional service I took my laptop for restart issue they charge me $95 and keep the laptop for 5 days do nothing, and what they said laptop nothing wrong with it we just repair os files but computer does same restarting issue I take it to the other place they find out in a day which is graphic card You guys only for trade is don’t do these to other people.

Consulted Protech for an iPad 5th Generation around 2 days ago, travelled an hour from Craigieburn and then show up to find that they don’t even have the iPad which I confirmed through text message a few hours ago that they have it. I then had to pick another iPad which had half the storage of the 5th gen and was the same price. Very disappointed that they didn’t even bother to check if they had the iPad in stock and to even properly negotiate and comfort me with better prices, I had to forcefully buy an iPad Air 2 16GB, very unhappy, it literally came without a box and just handed to me with a wire and no adapter, had to argue for an adapter because it’s an old charge ring port, Terrible service, highly unrecommended.

Absolutely disgusting to see these people haggle for money on gumtree. The hp spectre x360 i7 12th gen i7,16gb ram,512gb is on their facebook marketplace and not updated on gumtree or their original website. When asking to pay on gumtree through paypal they ask to pay an additional $30-40 fee. The price for 12th gen is $1970 including shipping to Sydney and when you look at their website the hp spectre 8th-Gen Core i7 processor, and 16GB RAM and 512GB is $1850. Somehow the price is exactly the same for the older generation as it for the new one. As a student, I have been searching to invest in a laptop at least 13th, 12th or 11th generation, with a reasonable price. This way I would not have to replace it, in the coming years. I basically just wasted my time, should just buy from a reputable merchandise store. Take my two cents: AVOID!!

I've been meaning to do a review for my experience dealing with ProTech IT Solutions for quite some time. I purchased an iPad mini for my son from them awhile back (Aug 2022) and stored it away while waiting for a heavy duty hard case to arrive from an online order. (It had to be specific type) Two weeks later, after the case arrives and I install the case onto the iPad Mini, I try using the iPad and notice an intermittent issue with the touch screen. So I bring it back into ProTech and explain to John. He arranges for the iPad to be inspected and repaired while keeping me updated throughout the process. I've recommended ProTech to my relatives, who have since purchased laptops and other goods. I would definitely recommend them to other potential customers, especially those who are in the Burnside area. Worth a visit since some products aren't on their website. Support local and why wouldn't you when they've got great products at great prices?

I'm only leaving this review because I have had a quite stressful experience with them. I initially took my laptop to them and they disgnosed and fixed only part of the issue. Since November I've had to take my laptop - which I rely on for work - back and forth a bajillion times and it hasn't been fixed yet. The guy is manipulative and never provides a clear-cut response to your questions. Happy to be proven wrong eventually and I'll retract the review but my experience so far is quite telling.
