Just purchased a dog grooming cordless clipper, to which I found out once I had returned home was actually used and wasn’t cleaned. There was dog/animal hair all over it and spilling out of the box itself. No sticker on the box to display that it was a returned product and was sold at full price. I also found out that it is a discontinued product. Not happy.
Everything you need. They have some products the same as Temu but cheaper here. Not all but alot.
Customer service desk actually need to be retrained on what customer service is. Rude, arrogant and no customer service whatsoever especially the older lady. Seriously her attitude is a disgrace! Everything was a drama, not just with me but others customers. If you don’t like your job, quit! Kmart could take a leaf out of Big W who are always friendly!

The staff here don't even try. Asked them if they could check their system for lorcana rise of the floodborn packs as their website said it had limited stock but the staff just ignored me and said what you see on display is what they have. When I asked if they can just check their system quickly I was quickly dismissed. Very disappointing 😞

Waiting in line for a long period then having the girl behind the counter leave with 9 people in waiting in line, I rang the bell twice; a male worker came in, I showed him my phone for collection, he said he did not have a monitor and went to grab it, an old lady sitting near the bell accidentally bumped the button to then I had the male worker come out from the corner and abuse me! For pressing the bell, once I got angry for doing nothing wrong but waiting, he then walked away and left the service area, then proceeded to have two more workers that couldn’t serve me due to not having a monitor to scan my code. I understand it’s Christmas and you’re busy, but abusing! A customer is completely ridiculous.

Very bad experience . Try to call them several times to check an item. No one answered the phone. Why you give number when to do not bother to answer the call? Melton Kmart is the worst.
I love all the staff at this store. They work well with what they have. It’s not their fault there’s budget cuts on staff funding. They are a great bunch especially Chris from the door. Top kid. I have a lot of time for him.
Kmart here is really good for everything else!!. However one thing I’m dissatisfied with is the Kodak photo printing booth as it never works or prints out my photos properly
I understand your busy, I wonder why Kmart has a number to call as I was calling to see if a product was in store to save me wasting my time coming in ,as it says it's in stock online but when you go in there of course it isn't there so it would be nice if you guys answer ur phone as I was on hold for 5 mins and no answer happy to wait longer but then most times it says your busy and can't answer as this time then I have wasted time waiting for you guys to answer the call

Poor service. Massive line and no human checkouts and would open any registers. Staff failed to help an elderly man who was struggling with the self serve machines

Generally a disorganised & very messy store . Beauty section is horrible & messy with lots of empty shelves. However , staff are nice and helpful.
Melton vic store is useless at answering phones, they ALWAYS have stock trolleys in the art and craft section blocking it off.. Do Better.

15/7/24-11pm Went in tonight to get some things for these cold nights and the kids were in the toy isle. My intellectually disabled daughter found an open toy and ran to me to tell me and I told her to take it to the woman working at the self service since I was close by and could still see and hear her from where I was. As soon as my daughter walked away this absolute disgusting excuse of a human being started bad mouthing my daughter to a customer saying that she would have opened it and didn't want It since it would have been the toy she didn't want. My daughter is extremely honest and prides herself on helping every way she can. This woman was saying such putrid things about my child. I confronted her and told her how dare you talk about my daughter like that and that my daughter is an honest child and would NEVER do such a thing. She immediately tried to defend herself so I left my trolley of items and went to speak to the young male manager on floor and explained everything to which I only get a blank stare and not even a damn apology. Absolutely disgusting. I have sent off my email to head office and I will be contacting them via phone as well in the morning. I have worked in retail for many years and NEVER have I heard such disgusting things being said more so about a child!!!! You should be fired and banned from any retail work. How dare you!!!!! I'll be contacting my lawyer for this
Bring back 24 hour shopping
A few things fell short of my visit earlier this week. There were no trolleys available for use, the changing room was closed for the night when we arrived which meant we couldn't try on the 4/5 items we'd each brought over to the change room and half the lights within the store turned off at 11pm when the store closed at midnight as per the signage.
Depends on what degree of quality and also depends on what You purchase. Basically, the poor man's Myers store. At least it's tidy compared to Harris Scarf.
Shelves are relatively well stocked, generally always pretty friendly staff, no problems here. Accidentally broke something once and they cleaned it up straight away with no hassles.
Went to Kmart Melton today and got the best customer service ever,I needed to print some photos and put in a locket and Kimberley (she was in customer service at 12.30pm) and another girl(didn't get her name unfortunately) helped me print the photo (was having issues connecting my phone ect )I wanted and went above and beyond for me, absolutely amazing customer service.
Terrible service. Would rather lose sales than give access to a trolley. Told me I have to put a dollar in the trolley. I don’t carry cash and wanted to buy a couple large items storage tubs that I couldn’t carry and wouldn’t fit in a bag. I guess I’ll take my business to Bunnings! Who even carries cash on them these days?

I had been here multiple times but almost all the staff members are pretty rude specially the ones at the counter. The person who is managing this store should take this seriously. It would be nice if customers can be bit polite and they would want to visit the store next time.
Recently bought a mermaid costume for my granddaughter which fell apart and ripped less than an hour after putting it on. Melton Kmart unhelpful all because of no receipt, don't want money back just dress removed from shelves

I had to wait about 10 minutes for a staff member to come to open the fitting rooms. I rang the buzzer 3 times. When I finally got into the fitting rooms there was such a mess in there. Clothing and hangers no one seems to pay any attention to the rooms. I don't know why the fitting rooms get locked. It's obvious that staff members don't pay attention to the amount of clothing going in and coming back out. The tags that tell staff members how many items went in were also hanging behind the door. The staff member that let me into the fitting rooms just stood there doing nothing while I was in trying clothes on. I thought while the door was open, she probably could have been cleaning some of the change rooms.

Everytime i walk into the toy section its a disgrace!! I was shopping yesterday and trying to find a toy for my 15month old and all the toys were just all over the place, it was almost impossible to walk down the aisles. I understand this is going to happen as kids will grab them and not put them back in their correct places etc, but honestly speaking as a customer its very untidy and makes me sad that toys just are treated like this ... I mean we have to buy them, what sort of condition would they be in? This really is something the manager needs to address!
Not very well stocked at the moment. Not sure why there are so many empty shelves. Will assume it's the end of the year and they are short staffed for now.
Excellent customer service from a young lass at the counter, making pleasant conversation under pressure 3 days out from Xmas. Excellent staffing, credit to management, long line snaking out and around, moved really quickly, much quicker than expected, freeing me up to get to Coles on a tight schedule. Bravo.
Why are they hardly any staff around when you need to ask a question? And without a store guide it’s really hard to find things. Great choices of homeward but damn this place is not easy to shop in.
The women at the layby desk was super friendly despite some of the challenges she faced. She made sure I had every item of my layby and when there was one item missing (which wasn't her fault) she apologized, offered a refund and a gift voucher. I hope everyone is being nice to them during this Christmas period.
The phone keeps ringing and they never answer.
Have shopped here for several years and generally not had issues aside from the make-up section consistently being empty/destroyed. However over the past few days have been trying to get a hold of someone on the phone as the stock level on the site is showing two different things for the same item and wanted clarification. Tried ringing through to several different departments in an attempt to get a hold of anybody and waited 10-20 minutes before giving up each time. Eventually got fed up and called centre management today and the lady I spoke to said even THEY have major issues getting through to them. Seriously annoying, they either need to roster on adequate staff to actually man these phone lines, or get staff members to keep a closer eye on it, I'm seriously frustrated now when all I needed was a simple yes or no! :(

Placed a click and collect over 24 hours ago and still haven’t heard anything. Tried to call the store and the phone rang for over 20 minutes with nobody answering. Great customer service Kmart. Pick up your game.

When you shop at Kmart you are expecting shelves to be fully stocked, tidy and neat. Kmart in Melton has to be one of the most dirtiest, unorganised Kmart I’ve been too. We all love Kmart, but the management and structure needs to change. I having been living in Melton for over 10 years and Kmart Melton has just haven’t met the standards with other Kmarts around Melbourne which are tidy, neat, presentable and also customer service.
Kmart Melton would have to be the worst for NOT answering there phones. I have never gotten through ever

Oh kmart, why on earth would you put your Service registers in the middle of the store!! It absolutely does not serve any purpose. On very busy days it’s a challenge manoeuvring through the isles just to get through because customers are forced to line up coiled around the back of the registers and down through isles etc it’s a mess! Then you pay for your items at the registers and make your way to the exit only to have another person there to check your receipt and items and scan receipts (another unnecessary hold-up)! Oh and not to mention when you have an exchange/refund, you need to go to the Service desk in the far back left corner of the store, if it’s a refund you still need to walk to the front of store when you exit, get stopped for them to check your trolley/bags, no wonder customers get angry and frustrated when leaving the store, just a waist of time and time consuming! For heaven’s sake make life simple for shoppers, put your registers at the front of the store and refunds/exchanges there also, we don’t need to have our bags checked multiple times and receipts scanned again, we want less confusion less stress and a better shopping experience

Worst customer service, worst Kmart. Spent hundreds of dollars on a click.and collect order for my daughters birthday. I was in the store several hours later and there was loads of stock of everything I'd ordered. Got an msg late that afternoon telling me that my money had been refunded and nearly all if it was unavailable. Refund will take days. All the items are definely n stock and no I'm left with no items, no money and her birthday is in 2 days. So disgusted, my daughter doesntbget her gifts because some lazy staff member who couldn't be bothered to pack my order.
This used to be my favorite store but the last few times i have been there, there seems to be stuff everywhere. Blocking shopping areas and looking messy
Store is mostly clean, sparse stock in some places. Good to see more variety on the shelves, especially men's clothing.

Went to buy some Lego tonight get a price match with targets Lego sale they have on the manager on duty tonight was the rudest old lady I've seen in my life tried to lie about how a price match works saying the store needs to be open to do a price match lol I work in retail love that's not how it works and the fact you're a manager is laughable no need to treat a customer rudely because you're doing the graveyard shift that's your choice nothing to do with me especially when I'm being respectful and then you try to bully me further Infront of your colleagues and laugh at me price matching I deal with customers every day price matching I know how it works love never again I'll go to target next time I'll be forwarding this to corporate tonight.
Me and my friend Got told off tonight by a man Named Dylan…. Told me and my friend off for “throwing stuff” around when I explained it was just a Pom Pom and only got thrown ONCE but he claimed we were throwing a BUNCH of items at each other in the art section and kids section which was not true, got told we were throwing stuff at each other and at other people which wasn’t true either. After telling him we were not throwing anything he still threatened to kick us out. His attitude was appalling. Not even a kind “hey have u guys been throwing stuff? If u are could u plz stop” it was just “are you guys throwing stuff? If u don’t stop I will kick u out”

I went to buy the item but could not find in the self, went to ask the customer service lady who was busy chatting with her friend . Once she saw me she quickly said whatever is in self that’s it , Looks like she wanted to show she was doing her job but she was only physically there and her attitude was as like I have to pay to talk to her kind( I could not properly read her name tag).As I was desperate to find the item and does not like her attitude so I went to another girl Alisha,She quickly went to check for me if they had a stock but could not find so suggested me to order online which was very helpful. Other day I went there then lady named Sandra was very helpful too.the store is normally busy but even not busy the store is not very clean. But it a Kmart the ladies favourite place so cannot give negative reviews.
Terrible and shameful interaction with the manager this evening Isobel. We were simply asking if a kids scooter that was already assembled would be discounted as there were no boxed ones in the area that we seen. Her attitude and mannerism was embarrassing and she basically was on the defence and argumentative right from the beginning and even more attitude followed once she found a boxed one for us. Besides her attitude and the speaking down to a family with a young child, the $16 extra charge for something that literally took 2 seconds to set up and for something that is ridden around by bigger kids in store should really be discounted if it’s the last option.
Honestly one of the worst stores. Never has any stock, only 1 person at the service desk so I'm waiting ages. No trolleys to pick up flat packs so they make you walk all the way to Coles to get one. Pick up your game. Putrid. I'll be shopping at Watergardens from now one.
