Attended good guys Taylor’s lakes had shayan as the salesman. We bought the automatic de longhi coffee machine. Extremely patient and helpful. Great service

Lazy staff … Today I bought a Shark cordless vacuum, the IZ102, Hardly 5 kg in weight and less than a meter in height. And it is stored just behind the payment counter. But instead of handing it over at the counter, I was told to drive my car back to the store at the pickup counter and collect it. I drove my car parked in the pickup zone and pressed the green button for anyone to come and hand over my stuff. I was standing there waiting, and then someone came and asked me what I was looking for, went back, and came back with my stuff after several minutes. My question is, is this your customer service, or did you deliver every small and big thing from the pickup area?

Wife bought a dyson stick vac. It was shipped for free via uber and arrived in under 30 minutes. Excellent service

The worst customer service i have ever experienced. My doctor recommended a dehumidifier for my asthma, so i decided to go shopping at my local good guys' store. I chose a delinghi because it is a dehumidifier and a purifier, but I was told it sold out, so i had to order it in. All good so far, i paid my deposit and went home waiting for the appliance. 3 weeks after I received a text to pay the full amount, i didn't just pay, so i went to the store and paid it there. After i paid, I was sent to the back of the store to pick it up. Surprisingly, there was no appliance waiting for me. So i got back to the store and asked for an explanation, i was told by mistake it was given to someone else. Anyway, not much i can do there so i want to speak to the manager , a middle aged man pretending to be the manager is telling than nothing can be done this things happen etc, then i realised he was just talk and he wasn't the manager just doing his shift. After 20 minutes in the store, i found the manager and explained him what was going on. He offered me a discount for my trouble and reordered the appliance. I was waiting for over 2 months, nothing, not even a phone call. So i went back to the store and found out there was a new manager and he had no idea. He mentioned something about being a shortage of this appliance and was hard to get, but he would look into it and get back to me by Monday. A few days passed, and i decided to go back to the store. Here he is the old manager. Obviously, he had no idea about the situation or anything regarding my appliance. He is still telling me he will order it in, i have been waiting for 3 months, and he is telling me to order it again. I got really frustrated. i asked for my money back and told them on the way out i am going to leave you a very honest feedback. I got home very frustrated, and my asthma condition was getting worse. i decided to look online. I found the appliance on appliance online, i ordered it at 10 pm, and the next day, 11 am was delivered to my door. So there was no shortage of the appliance or problems with the manufacturer, just bad logistics from good guys. Not all good guys' shops are bad, but I believe the Taylor's lake one is the worst.

I bought two vacuum robots during the Black Friday sales, and was told that they were out of stock but would contact me once they became available. A few weeks later, I was contacted by the same staff member, who informed me that the vacuums would no longer be stocked at any Good Guys stores. When I asked for an explanation, I didn’t get one. I then went to the store to speak with the manager, as I had missed out on buying the vacuum elsewhere at a lower price, leaving me very frustrated. When I arrived, I noticed that the same vacuum was still being sold. I pointed this out to the manager, but he dismissed it. He mentioned that three vacuums were on order and would check if any were mine. After additional follow-ups, it took two more weeks for him to confirm that none of the ordered vacuums were mine. In early January, he explained that new versions were coming in soon, which is why the old vacuums were out of stock. I once again pointed out that they were still selling the old vacuums, but my concerns were ignored. I was told they would contact me when the new models arrived. When the new versions came in, I was contacted and told I would need to pay an additional $300 for the new model. When I asked how much the new version was priced at, I was told around $1,295, which was the same price as the old one without the sale. However, they refused to match the price, leaving me with two options: pay the extra $300 or get a refund. They couldn’t provide the product I originally purchased, nor would they honor the original price, even though both versions cost the same. Now, I've paid in full for two products that I still don’t have. They continued to sell a product they couldn't deliver, and my only option is to take them to VCAT. This is incredibly poor service for such a large company.

Yesterday, I went into Good Guys Watergardens to buy the NINJA Nutri Duo Blender, priced at $259. When I went to pay, the salesman used high pressure sales techniques to try and up-sell a 3-year replacement warranty (this is basically an insurance scam). This would add another $65 onto the price. I responded by saying No way and that it should be included in the retail price. Why should I pay extra for an appliance that will be obsolete in 6 months? I couldn't help but feel that the manufacturer and The Good Guys are tricking customers by using planned obsolescence (i.e. the device will likely break after a year), plus taking advantage of the natural anxiety a customer may feel when purchasing a new device - all at the point of sale. No, I don't want to fill out a bunch of forms in a year or two because the device is broken. I want it to keep working properly, like the rest of my gear. After realising I was not budging on my position, the salesman offered to halve the price of the extended warranty. That's when I realised it was probably built into his pay bonus and reinforced by management policies. I still didn't fall for it. Neither should you. There should be a law against this sort of predatory behaviour. Next time I am buying from an online store (not there's).

Absolutely shocked and discusted. Happy to take ur money (of which I've spent many thousands in their store) but when it comes time to returning things bcos they gave u the wrong advise and sold u the wrong cameras which were not compatible with the unit they sold u 3 months earlier , u lose 20% of ur money just 4 opening the boxes ! They were not damaged at all. I only opened the lid. I never even removed the cameras from the boxes themselves. it's only the sticker they put on them and will only end up putting another on it to sell it 2 someone else. It's highway robbery! I couldn't afford to lose so much money 4 so many cameras so it ended up buying another unit from them to go with the cameras i tried to return. I also had issues with a washing machine with which I'm stuck with aswell. Taking 20% on returned items is absolutely disgraceful!

What a disaster this place is! Customer service is giving your attention to the person your serving and be done with them rather than trying to serve 3 people at a time. Spent 30 mins at the counter to sort out a damaged fridge that was delivered. Understaffed and communication is poor. Stay away.

I had an issue with my delivery so came into the store to speak to the manager to resolve. Sam N the manager was called over to speak to me and he was yelling at the staff in front of everyone and ignoring me. After he finally looked at me he basically told me I was lying and too bad. The staff member I was originally dealing with tried to talk to him so he could resolve the issue but he wasn’t happy and raising his voice at myself and the staff. I think Sam needs to be spoken with because that was unacceptable behaviour. After this very negative ordeal I wanted some assistance buying a few items and asked a lovely young man named Liam for assistance, he was so helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend Liam takes over management of this store.

Absolutely terrible, what a joke of a store, i don’t know who the manager is but they are not doing a good job. People struggling to find a job could run this place better than who they have employed right now. Absolute joke. Staff have no idea what day on earth it is, and they’re all just standing around talking on their phones what type of a joke is that. Get a grip, JB-HIFI is now my go too. Especially one guy, couldn’t grab his name but needs to get sacked immediately what a joke of an employee not even that what a joke of a human. Staff need to be educated on customer service and actually know their products. Never again am I coming here.

We initially went in to purchase a specific fridge but were convinced by the salesperson to choose another model, which they claimed was superior. Just a couple of weeks later, the fridge stopped working in the middle of the night. When we contacted the store, they refused to take any responsibility and said they’d escalate the matter to the supplier—a process that could take days or even weeks. They offered no immediate assistance or solution and completely washed their hands of the issue. Extremely disappointed with their service and lack of accountability! I will never shop here again!

We visited on Boxing Day. Whilst they were really busy, everyone was super helpful. We dealt with Shayan who couldn’t do enough to assist us. We were given lots of discount options and walked away with a true bargain. The Bissell CrossWave Omniforce Edge is incredible.

Poor service.

Approximately four years ago, I purchased a split system air conditioner from The Good Guys, which has recently stopped working. Hisense sent a different installer to assess the issue, and it was found that several problems, primarily caused by the original installation, were affecting the system. The repair technician noted that many of the issues they encounter are related to installations from The Good Guys. I believe The Good Guys should bear some responsibility, as they do not adequately vet their installers. Additionally, I contacted The Good Guys' repair team, but the person I spoke to was plain rude (I didn't get his name), so I decided to deal directly with Hisense myself.

I bought a printer. Took it home connected it only to find it doesn't work. Took it back within 2 hours of purchase only to be told no refund or exchange. They can only send it for repairs. 6 weeks. Are you kidding me? It's brand new and doesn't work. I'm never shopping here again. I got ripped off. Shop at big w or k mart. They refund or exchange on the spot with your recite.

Lack of service

Great store with lots of variety of different brands for all price ranges. Even though I was giving the wrong product after waiting for it to be delivered the staff were extremely helpful with fixing the issue immediately and without a fuss

Sam's poor customer service has not only tarnished your store's reputation but has also cost you a loyal, high-value customer. His failure to resolve a simple issue has forced me to reconsider my future purchases. I hope you will take steps to rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents from happening again.

We have had a terrible customer service experience from the store manager today. I also come from a customer dealing background and i can tell this person named SAM is horrible .he must be losing a lot of customers to the company but May be going unnoticed because the locality of the store is good and store does good numbers on sales may be. I have been a customer to this particular store for almost 10 years and bought 10’s of thousands dollar worth of goods. But i am telling he has just lost me right before when i needed everything new again as we recently moved in new house. Wouldn’t admit to his staff error and keep on arguing without even offering further help. Arrogant to particular people and zero skillset for handling customer’s issue. I wish i could personally report to his management or HR to have backed off from serving customers. What an embarrassment!!!!

Amazing staff.

Took my phone which I had brought from them, to get fixed after having phone for two years find out dont have warranty then allowed them to fix it they said it would take 3 to 6 weeks was only the speaker and mic. Waiting calling them after 3 weeks to notification checked the invoice found number called the repairer and my phone was all fixed asked if I can come pick it up they needed authorisation from good guys. Picked up my phone if I waited for them would take six weeks my phone was fixed and ready for them , disappointed good guys service.

Purchased a new vacuum cleaner from the G/Guys - Watergardens about 5 months ago. No fault of G/Guys, an accessory broke in the 5th month due to faulty workmanship/manufacturing. Held my breath when going to request either a replacement part or the whole unit replaced as a lot of stores make it very, very hard for customers in such situations. Not in this instance, I'm very pleased to say. The two young ladies, Rubje and Leah(?) were amazing with their display of exceptional customer service. I was extremely happy with the outcome but equally as important, the levels of courtesy and professionalism they both showed. Thank you Ladies. You've increased my Faith in the Good Guys and also help restore my belief that there are stores/companies out there that will do the right thing by their customers (especially with faulty/defective equipment) and also smile whilst they're doing it (i.e. being very pleasant/courteous throughout the process)...

As mentioned by others, the turban guy in store is very cunning and very arrogant. As a customer i have all the right to ask for deal. This guy started the jargon out of nowhere about how staff can take all the goods in deals, nothing is left for customers. He told Indians have bad habbit of asking discounts. Not sure if that is racist, as i am an Indian, he also seems to be same. Either pay this price or go, i cant do a thing. He seems to be aggressive in nature. Not sure how goodguys are ensuring customer safety. I doubt if all of sales staff are good guys.

My partner and I had the best experience today at the Taylors Lakes store. We were able to buy an oven as well as organise delivery within 20 minutes. Zani B made it an effortless process, he has amazing product knowledge and is more than happy to help, he went over and above for us today including doing some further research for us which he didn’t have to. Never deal with cunning turban Indian Jaskaet. He is extremely shifty though seems to be helpful. I purchased an LG Fridge Freezer from him when only there to checkout brands to place order by online from good guys as pricing is more competitive and cheaper than in store. When Jaskaet approached me I said only looking but advised if I was in the market to buy, I replied yes, but buying online as I did purchase two fridge freezers for myself a week or so ago and now buying for mum and comparing models as store cannot beat pricing as I was advised by customer service via head office sales. Jaskaet. He asked what I purchased for myself and compared pricing to what I paid to what he could of sold to me. Little I knew he was full of curry. Anyhow comparing models he said the fridge freezers I purchased being top of the tree problem with warranty and all complaints they receive are Samsung. Anyhow he ended up selling me an LG double door fridge freezer at $3500 whoch he said was cheaper than head office phone sales as it did seem like a good deal but waa more convenient to purchase as my mums Samgung double door after four years was nor worth to refill gas at cost of 2K. Being a sangung and the sales person's advise I believed what he said. Anyhow when paying he said that it only came with two year warranty and for another $290 or so plus $81 delivery my total would be $3890 I paid, fridge was delivered. Two weeks later I went to good guys at essendon fields to purchase a house warming present for my brother to see the same model at cost $3400 including 5 years extended warranty. I said to sales person is that price correct and replied yes. I highlighted what I paid with extended warranty and he said you can be refunded for gold shield warranty if you call the store of purchase. I called watergardens a few times left messages but never received a call back. When my patience ran out I called head office who said they could do nothing as 1 month lapsed and that I should call Jaskaet to credit from store. I ended up finding him to receive response only head office can refund as his hands are tied as store has no control over gold shield. Anyhow I call head office and was a tennis match wasting time. I complete joke and a disgrace and unprofessionalism. Good guys should refund the overcharge and provide apology for the waste of my time as that the last time I will di business with dishonest guys!

Worst customer service in reception, sales person was great and receptionist doesn’t have any idea even what she was doing.

Was literally ignored by staff. I was looking to purchase a vacuum and was waiting for someone to help me, and believe me I was visible. One staff member literally stood in front of me and ignored me and then walked away. She saw that I was looking and trying the vaccums and didn't even bother to ask if i needed help. I tried getting her attention but she walked away. Horrible experience. It's like they didn't want me to purchase something from them. Worst experience I've had with the goodguys.

Really good service and competitive pricing.

I wish I could give negative stars. Originally the TV was ordered in Taylor’s lake store. Bobby who served us with Smeegal who is manager. But the TV Sony Bravia we selected was the last one and was not informed to us. Delivery was booked for the next day 23/5 which was never delivered on that day unless we asked by calling store on to whys happening. They said the “they can’t find the original box”. I was thinking but never thought negative at this stage. The TV was delivered next day in a LG BOX upon asking boys did not say anything and left. When we open the box found that the TV was broken. I took some more pictures and rushed to Taylor lake store to see Smeegal but met Olivia as he was busy with another client and won’t talk to us. He still won’t come and talk to us even after serving the customers. We waited nearly 45 minutes for him to serve us. Poor managerial skills and very poor customer service as he does not even know how to perform the return. Thank god Olivia was there who performed the return. She also also knows how to talk to an upset client. As the manager never even bothered to apologies. We had to then select another TV which wasn’t Sony Bravia. Now we have a Samsung as a replacement for Sony because of. Someone else mistake. Anyways we finalised the order by paying another 121 dollars on top. And the delivery was booked for the sunday. I hoped that delivery would come without drama. We had the couple of turn up to our place the Sunday arvo. Couple of greedy delivery drivers who want to make more money so came and said since the broken TV is not packed they can’t take the delivery and we mentioned that it was delivered like that but they left instead of taping and said if we get another call up we will come back and collect it. Apparently they waited in the area for approx 2 hours for us to resolve the matter with Taylor lakes store. Olivia again went out of her way and helped us and 2 other managers won’t come on phone even. This time it was JAS AND JASSI. They finally came back and redelivered the TV in the late afternoon wasting 3 of our precious days without pay. I would never asked anyone to go to good guys or JB HIFI as it’s the same company especially Taylor’s lake store because a company who can’t put money towards training there managers to be able to resolve issues. Poor customer service and shame on to the whole good guys team except Olivia learn from her how to talk to customers who already have an issue with there electronic product. Thanks

I regret to inform you of my severe disappointment after spending over $13,000 in your store. The refrigerator, part of my purchase, is faulty. Despite having a warranty and waiting six weeks, there's been no attempt to resolve the issue. Your lack of response is distressing and undermines customer trust. I expected better service for such a significant investment. I urge you to address this matter promptly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend your services to others until this is rectified.

Avoid like the plague. After putting a deposit down for a washing machine being told it was in stock and to expect a call before delivery next week to finalise payment and take delivery next day. I go in store to discover after no call that all stock had been allocated elsewhere because I had not paid the remainder. It left my family high and dry. Store manager wouldn't budge on finding a solution of a comparable machine for same price point he withdrew the gold service option I had ordered in stead. IWhich I've been told in the industry is referred to as junk warranty. I walked out and next day got amazing customer service and a solution next day delivery at Harvey Norman across the road. The only good thing at good guys taylors lakes was dealing with Liam who was fantastic and easy to deal with. Liam get a job elsewhere the joints a train wreck.

Horrible customer service! I was left standing unattended after seeking help and being told someone would be with me shortly.. 25 mins later and still no assistance. So disappointing. Walked out and will be spending my money elsewhere.

Gold service I have just renew my gold service due to a TV that was faulty..lucky it was covered by gold warranty which was offered..the process of sorting this out and follow up was abit haphazard staff in watergardens was a hit and miss my new TV was delay due to staff not being attentive to the details and my new TV was delay...if it wasn't for 1 dedicated woman named Nidhi who sorted all this mess out and provided follow up and made sure it was fixed I would have given a 1 star...your products are great and prices good but your staff needs to be better trained..to handle customers needs...when approached...currently im waiting for the TV to be drop off and installed so be interesting to see this this goes smoothly.. Nidhi needs a promotion and pay rise for her work in sorting my mess....I hope management reads this... happy to give details on my experience D.M....

If I could give a zero star I would! I was in the store Thursday evening, it was pretty quiet. I was acknowledged by someone who was walking out on their break and told me they would get someone to come over and help…. I wondered around for 15 minutes, I wasn’t there to waste time I was there to spend $$$ I already knew what appliances I wanted just needed someone to help… In the end I walked out and spent my $$ across the road…

Taylor’s lakes customer service is excellent as compare to Melton store. Staff on floor in computer section negotiated the best price and it’s always good to see the same old staffs. Nidhi at the counter is very empathetic, she genuinely put herself in customer’s shoes 5 stars to Nidhi✨🌟🤩

Customer service is very poor!!! Will not go back. Store manager had no interest in resolving my issue and was happy just to stand behind the counter on her laptop and totally ignore the situation. Very poor management and leadership by the Store Manager.

I purchased a washing machine from GOOD GUYS @ Watergardens. The whole process was so smooth coz I didn’t know which washer to go with but NIDHI GUPTA @ this good guys was great help. After dreading every time I have had to enter the Taylor’s Lakes store due to the lack of customer service and never having any help even though there are team members watching you look confused… My faith has been restored by a woman named Dawn! For the first time I was actually approached and didn’t have to approach someone, Dawn was not only warming and very funny she catered to our every need going above and beyond to help us. If I could give Dawn the 5 stars personally, I would!

Ethan was a pleasure to deal with in swapping my TV I purchased a couple weeks ago with a change of mind. Super easy to deal with and top service considering I hadn't purchased the original TV from this store.

Bought a stem leaner before and was not working properly so went back for replacement or repair the lady at reception was very rude and don’t have any experience. Anyhow she said we gonna repair it but you will get it after 4 weeks because they will send to NSW for repair but the next day I got message from them that it’s repaired how come. This place used to be very good but now Owned by Indians. Very bad experience

My elderly mother bought an oven from this store. The service was great but once she paid for the oven things turned bad. They told us two weeks later to pick the oven up after she paid for delivery and installation. We got into an argument with a rude woman on the phone and we went to the store to show proof we paid.. That shut them up! When the guy eventually installed it, he couldnt even be bothered cutting the timber work by 5mm to make it fit and left the oven sticking by two inches. We called Good Guys and they have washed their hands of it.. Disgusting and rank amateur work.. AND IM BEING GENEROUS!

Was just served by Dominic. The man was a fantastic salesman and all round nice guy. Gave us a great deal and was extremely understanding in what we needed. Highly recommend.

We bought a dishwasher and included installation cost but the installer guy keep delaying the installation day after paying the full cost online.

We had a good experience purchasing our fridge from here. Jaz was very friendly. We had a few hiccups getting the fridge delivered that was outside of everyone's control. The staff were very switched on and rectified the issues quickly and professionally so I am very grateful to all the staff. Thank you

Recently I bought Bosch glass cooktop and It was short of supply everywhere in vic and preorder based. Wait time was more than 4 months . Nidhi has done exceptionally great job with following up every week with the suppliers prioritising the customer need and has been updating . Thanks a lot Nidhi for your great customer service.

Bad customer service. Keep delaying delivery for more than 1 week. I have to book for work leave to stay home and wait for nothing

Olivia is a wonderful employee. She helped direct me to the right person(tech) who was a friendly man but more interested in porting me to telstra than helping me with what I actually needed. Olivia then served me and followed up how I went with my querie. I told her I didn't really get much help and she apologised and told me that she could assist me and she did. The best thing she did for me was to ask, and be genuinely interested in helping me. Even though I couldnt find what I was looking for, I made other purchases because of her great customer service and warming smile. She is an asset.

Making fun of customers and laughing at them is so unprofessional. Also when the price drops by close to 40% within days of purchase, and your own sales people say it should be possible to get paid back the difference, then the store manager rejects this, then it is obvious to me that there is a discrimantory approach to whom you provide the decent service. So disgusting that you get told this is the policy, when everyone knows it has always been practiced in all respectful decent businesses to be nice to customers rather than be opportunistic, and make use of the fact that we were fooled into trusting a big name like The Good Guys. Shame on you! Unfortunately we had bought most of our home appliances from this store along the years - Never ever again.

Waited 45 minutes for some help after asking a couple of workers. No one came. One worker just stood at the computer , I told him I needed a couple of things and he still didn’t come so left after another 20 minutes. Going to another good guys to spend my money there. This has happened a few times so we won’t be going back. Very very poor service. Would give zero stars if I could.

Floor staff were disinterested and the registers were clogged with customers asking a thousand questions. On the plus side, at least they had the product the website said they had in stock...which is not a given these days.

Big nice store. The staffs were very friendly and approachable and helpful. Plenty of car park.

Ordered cooktop 2 months ago and I rang today to check. They said I could get it in 4 to 6 weeks and it’s been more than 2 months.They said still didn’t arrive and rude customer service. I wouldn’t recommend watergardens store at all. Worst customer service ever.

This one time I went to the good guys and I purchased a HP ENVY Inspire 7920e AIO Printer and it changed my life. I was previously going through severe depression and substance abuse issues, but upon stumbling upon this immaculately lavish and laviscious institution, it changed my life. I guess you could say that they really are the Good Guys.

Last week I came in with my mum & when we went to the front desk, we came across this very lovely, kind & patient girl Gunchan, who was very understanding of our situation & helped us out. Thank you!

I paid extra for their Concierge Service, but never received any vouchers as promised. When I followed up I was told to go onto the online chat for assistance. The online customer service was pretty much non existent with an agent that didn't want to try and resolve the issue, and didn't seem interested to help with this problem. This concierge program is not worth the money you spend, nor the time wasted when you have to contact their customer service team.
