Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in Melbourne Crown Towers wins hands down ! Location is amazing Rooms are amazing / tv in the bath ❤️ Service very good ! Excellent - valet Pool is magical! Guessing that is the reason the price is higher then most other hotels Looking forward to my return and staying with crown again

the best hotel in Southbank

We stay in Melbourne for combined business and pleasure trip away and it was close for what we needed the accommodation for

Stayed at crown towers melbourne executive suite at $441 rate per night. Found dirty tissue on the floor when we walked in. Got worse from there... two things I most looked forward to: TV in the big bathtub, the TV didn't work at all. and eggs Benedict in the morning after a sleep in, the eggs Benedict was raw, the whites poured out with the yolk which was slimy and yuck, so I requested it replaced because I just couldn't enjoy it, the eggs then came completely cooked, I gave up and just skipped breakfast. The other tvs in the lounge and bedroom only have free to air TV unless you want to pay for $20 per movie but it cuts out after two minutes and goes black so no TV at all... the coffee pod machine didnt work didn't even turn on! There was one English breakfast teabag and one hot chocolate satchel for two people for two days and they were not replenished when the room was serviced so we had to go down all the way to the food court for hot drinks unless we wanted to pay a $7 room service delivery fee for every hot drink ontop of $8 or $9 for a cup of coffee or over $10 for a pot of tea, I think it was $16 but I'm unsure... overall it was overpriced, when paying for a suite you expect everything in the room to work and there to at least be enough complimentary hot drinks for before bed or in the morning. Extremely dissapointing, was not discounted and no issues fixed, we paid $441 per night for a bed essentially, we could have paid for an entire house with likely complimetary guest treats on airbnb (from my experience airbnb hosts spoil their guests)... never ever again staying in luxury" crown anything!!! Definately do not deserve their claims of a 5 star rating!"

The villas are exceptional But the highlight is Cham and Lochi from crystal club, they are beautiful people and will elevate the experience like no other !! Always coming back for them !

Very prestigious

Just perfect

We recently had 3 nights in a suite, admittedly the room was nice. Unfortunately one night being Valentines Day and another Saturday night, the prices were 30-40% higher than normal. We were there for my husbands birthday. First negative comment was directed at the spa appointment, I was left sitting for 40mins, as the customer before me required more time, due to extra attentionto hair, so that caused the hairdresser and make-up artist to clash, as to who got to go first. I must add, I have never spent money for this kind of treatment, when on a weekend away, just a treat. Now rushing back to the room as we had dinner reservations and a show to go to, to find my annoyed husband, as our room had not been serviced and after calling housekeeping, was still waiting 30mins later for clean towels. I had to roam the hallways to find a cleaning trolley. Surprisingly came back to our suite after our night out and Still no room service, this did nothing positive to end our night. We are polite and respect its a big hotel and don't expect any more than the basic service that we are paying for. When I complained the following day, we received one night free parking, this definitely made up for a very disappointing stay, Not! figures like $1400- & $1200 a night is when we expect clean towels, our bins emptied, and even our amenities replaced, yet I think we were a nuisance to them! This was meant to be a special few day's and were left seriously disappointed, we won't be rushing back. In fair, we have stayed at many places for far less and with better service, certainly not with any bad attitude directed at us. It was even stated on our invoice customer complained twice"."

Opulent

Really nice room, plenty of reception staff always willing to help. Breakfast was good but pricey, book it in advance and save

Rooms are lovely, view is amazing as expected, very clean, staff are very helpful

I booked a two-night stay for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The room was decent, but despite having four guests, I had to request a fourth towel. Dental kits were not provided initially, and even after requesting them, only two were delivered. While the hotel has a good atmosphere and an excellent view, the lack of attention to detail was disappointing for a five-star hotel. I’ll likely explore other options next time.

Great rooms and complex, holds plenty of good memories just wish the price was more in my grasp.

Disappointed that I could not be given late check out so I could get ready for my wedding…

Great place

We checked in today . I didn’t appreciate the service upon check in there was a blonde lady . She placed us in a dirty room . As we brought the kids for a little trip thought not to make a big deal . Though very disappointed. The carpet was not vacuumed well . Stains in the carpet . Beds didn’t look pleasantly made . Under the bed there is a kids toy . Dust everywhere . The only clean thing was the bathroom . The receptionist and the cleaners need to do a better job . Nobody wants to pay top dollar for something that is not even considered luxury . The room looks overly miserable. Upgrades need to be set in this hotel . Possibly better cleaners and receptionists. The lobby itself it’s fantastic .the phone only works for room service . I tried calling reception though it’s not connecting .

Disappointing Booking Experience at Crown Towers Melbourne- Being a local from Melbourne and wanting to celebrate my son’s 21st in style, I decided to book a night at Crown Towers after planning a special dinner with friends at one of their restaurants. Given the occasion, I thought a stay at their supposedly five-star accommodation would add to the experience. However, the booking process left me incredibly disappointed. When I contacted AB to make a reservation, I was informed that the hotel was almost at full capacity and that a minimum two-night stay was required. I found this difficult to believe, considering that February 21st is typically a quieter period—post-Valentine’s splurge, kids back at school, and most people still recovering from Christmas expenses. There were no major events happening that weekend to justify such high demand. To add to the frustration, I had checked online prior to calling and found significantly cheaper rates available. When I mentioned this, I was told that booking with a human would cost more—essentially penalizing guests for requiring direct assistance. This is hardly what one would expect from a five-star establishment that prides itself on luxury and hospitality. I had high expectations for Crown Towers, but this experience left me questioning their customer service approach. Luxury hospitality should be about service and convenience, not making guests feel like an inconvenience for wanting personal assistance. I would strongly reconsider booking here again in the future.

Stayed overnight for a celebration of my son’s first birthday. Room was very nice and clean with a great view. Unfortunately the experience was somewhat dampened by our check-in experience - despite arriving at 5pm, our room wasn’t ready and we were told it would be a 15 minute wait (20 minutes max). After a few trips back to the counter, we eventually got our room key 60 minutes later - leaving us to rush to get dinner into a 1 year old, a swim at the pool and back up for bed. Would have been easier (although still not ideal) if we knew we had 60 minutes from the start. Other than that, wonderful stay and fantastic facilities.

Here's the revised version with your added detail: We booked this hotel to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and with all the great reviews we’d heard, our expectations were high—and for the most part, it didn’t disappoint. Check-in took a bit longer than expected, about 20 minutes, even though all service counters were open. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an executive suite. The room was spacious, and the view overlooking the harbor was absolutely spectacular. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect spot to sleep in, especially since the kids were being looked after by my mother-in-law. That evening, we had dinner at Koko, where we shared a table with an elderly couple celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. The food was decent, and the service was attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by a 15% discount on our meal, which we hadn’t been aware of beforehand—it turned out to be a perk for staying at the Crown Towers. When we returned to our room after dinner, we found a complimentary bottle of champagne along with a fruit and cheese platter waiting for us. It was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture that made our anniversary even more special. That said, there were a few minor issues. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. We noticed orange-colored residue in the glasses, bathtub, and sink, which made us hesitant to use the tub. There was also noticeable dust on the ceiling. Another unexpected downside was the lack of a Wi-Fi sound system, which is a standard feature in most hotel rooms these days. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and with some improvements in cleanliness, it could have been perfect.

Exceptional Luxury at Crown Towers Melbourne! Had an amazing stay at Crown Towers Melbourne. The service was outstanding, the rooms were spacious and spotless with stunning city views. Loved the world-class amenities, especially the spa and fine dining. Truly a five-star experience—can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect 👌

This is the second time my partner and I have stayed at crown towers. It was even better this time around, all of the staff was so lovely and when checking in we were given an upgrade without knowing! The room service was honestly incredible. We also went to the crown casino for the first time and the staff there were also so helpful as we’d never been before. Will always recommend and have already booked our next stay.

Last year in May went with kids, faced racism. stopped going to crwon. this time planned on kids insistnace specaily for them to enjoy pool, and elderly inlaws from overseas. So booked 2 weeks of hotel stays including in crown on 14/1/25 and then 28/1/25 to 30/1/25. On 14/1/25, Got late finishing shift in clinic , so on way to crown with my family called to know that reservation still exist, but poor experinece. uminagineable worst ever experince during stay. reached crown at after 0500. started from bluffing by changing elderly inlaws room on fith floor with worst views while i paid for higher floor king suit. End up chnaging room for them but on floor 21 again with the bad views and we end up being on floor 23. Wasted 2 hours in changing rooms. was told at check in that pool will close for kids at 0800 PM. Also due to late check in and limited time for kids to enjoy pool , request check out a bit late but was informed that check out should be at 1000 AM. Due to wastage of time in changing rooms end up going to pool at 0700 PM just for an hour. Then The Racist teenagers comments while trying to enter lift with 6 teenagers already in lift. Later made cofee for my inlaws in their room but when came to my room and try to make coffee the similar cofee machine was not working. Called to get it fixed. Took half an hour untill was going out for dinner , wrote email to Allicia the assistant manger and mathhew du (I was in contact with him during My 2024 stay issues) along with other executives. . Later a guy came and told me that reason for delay was he was on break. And informed me as compared to my inlaws room same coffe machine this one had a button. Than went to Ging Thai for dinner and did not finish the dinner completely as there was a mouse in dinning area (disguisting) but as per staff it was not a big issue as rats and mouse can come from river. disappointing rather then entertaining stay. Rather then enjoying the stay I was annoyed so tried to write further emails to Allice and other executives. Wrote leghty emails that i tried to send but later reliase neither they were saved in draft not sent as hotel wifi was the poorest ever quiality in any of my experinece and the voda fone signels issues was also ther in room. Next morning kids woke up at 0930 AM, called reception to inform that check out might get delayed till 1030 AM, and was surprised to be informed that check out is routinely at 1100 AM. As kids did not enjoyed pool night before, insisting on going to pool so went to pool at 1000 AM. wanted to check out shapely at 1100 so kids out of pool at 1030 AM. later to find out my mobile and valet is locked in locker which was having issues. End up waiting half an hour at pool as onsite staff were not able to open it. As kids were hungry for breakfast end up going to room, and from there called 3 times to have some solution to feed the kids. Waited for half an hour with no response. and finally being told that I should have ordered room service to have breakfast in room and could have paid at check out. No regard, no complimentry offer for kids at least but blunt response. after that half an hour , went to Pool to get my stuff. Then went to check out. exlained the whole situation, my wife specsifically showed her concern that kids are hungary and now have to wait for another half an hour to be home and then might need to wait further for breakfast to be prepared. Again no regard to her concern buit a flat response. My wife specailoly complaint that No offer of any complimentary voucher for kids to have something to eat in last one hour. Again flat out response with apology. When asked to meet the manager or assitant manager I was informed that they are not available and I will get an email reponse. Although I applied for membership and panned to have my card before check out but kids were hungry and I was annoyed so leaft without getting membership card, instead prefered to pay for parking. Since than receiced email from mathew but with no further update. Alicia did not reolied to my complained.

Maybe the best hotel in Melbourne 10 or 15 years ago but now I just want to say don’t waste your money here - there are so many other great hotels in Melbourne! 1.The vacuum machine has been left in front of my door since I checked in yesterday. 2. The box in the bathroom is worn, dirty and feels like leftovers form previous guests. 3. An insect in cake cabinet- I informed the restaurant staff and he said yes we already awared of that. They didn’t do anything, not even tried to get the insect out of the cabinet and keep selling the cakes to customers! 4. Other guest’s hotel bill ($10k+)was left on the front desk counter with all the guest’s personal details on it. To me it looks like the hotel doesn’t care about privacy. I stayed at crown towers every time when I visited Melbourne but this will be my last stay here for sure.

Just do it people. Elegant, amazing and welcoming. Everyone is made to feel special. The facilities and food is amazing. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten and it was in room dining

不錯. 地點很好.

Always Love this place. My Daughter and I go there every year for our combined December Birthdays. So convenient Safe and all undercover

One of the best places on earth that you can stay, eat, drink and play.

Loved it, will go back again,

Best hotel in melb!

Rooms are very dated for what you pay and I got a room with bad views. Pool was great but wish it was open later... A la carté breakfast was basic and bacon overcooked.

It's a very nice place to visit. You can also stay in it . They have provided swimming pool also good atmosphere

Wow, something special to see and do in here. Amazing night.

Nice

Great location and excellent customer service! That’s where the positive feedback ends. For a luxury hotel there are issues. Our bed linen had a rip in it, and there is blood splatter on the bed ensemble and carpet. There was also some sort of splatter on the inside of the bathroom glass door. The other concern was the turndown service. My husband and I were having a rest and at about 4pm there was knock on the door and the staff immediately opened the door before we had the opportunity to meet them there. Lucky we were dressed! We also noticed that the area on level 5 near the lifts did not get cleaned the whole time we stayed as this chip and fluff mess remained on the floor. We expect better cleanliness for a luxury hotel that we paid top dollar for. The buffet breakfast is overpriced ($45pp discounted for guests) and awful. Nothing special about it to justify paying that. The pool area is absolute chaos with children. There needs to be an adult only space, it didn’t matter what time of day we tried to use the pool it was littered with children which was disappointing. The staff in the foyer didn’t seemed phased with screaming children running and crawling around, it is very off putting seeing and hearing this behaviour for the money we spent to stay here.

True five-star quality. Family friendly, with some occasional special offers. Rooms are predictably exceptionally kitted out, and the beds are super comfy. The pool is fantastic, though sadly has little natural light and views, unless you move to the upper seating deck. Shame that the spa water simply flows into the pool - the water temperature is just the same. Dining options are outstanding, especially Conservatory.

Sadly Crown Towers is no longer the gem in the hotel industry it used to be. While the service is still wonderful, the facilities and in particular the rooms have aged and are no longer up to the standard that you would expect or as described the highest standard of luxury"."

Kids swim all day, nice food to choose from and gambling 24 hours

Forgot a brand new Samsung charger in the room and someone from housekeeping stole it! Never got it back. Really destroyed the good time that I had during the stay.

We stayed in the amazing 1 bedroom Crystal Villa which was superb. The 360 degree views of Melbourne were breathtaking and a perfect spot to enjoy the New Year’s fireworks display. |The suite is truly large enough to get lost in. Everything is sumptuously comfortable and the detailing spectacular. Being able to access the villa floors by private elevator is great and the butler service is excellent. Access to the crystal club is brilliant - all day (practically) you have the most amazing food, including fantastic Espresso Martinis at cocktail hour. The staff are wonderful, and I couldn’t recommend more highly.

This was a special night shared with my daughter. We stayed in a suite which had beautiful views over the Yarra River. We had the benefit of Crystal Club which provided afternoon tea, cocktails and canapes, then breakfast. We enjoyed the facilities and whilst we felt that the evening canapes were a bit lacking we enjoyed our stay.

Just excellent Thank you

Spend your money elsewhere. There are superior 5 star hotels with far superior service. It took 20 minutes to check in, as the line was ridiculously long, as did check out. Understaffed at the most busiest of times. Not to mention the wait to collect our car from valet, which took over an hour, whilst we had a sick child waiting. Two rooms booked and only one was serviced, which we had to call house keeping to do. Appalling from beginning to end. I will never be staying there again.

I have stayed at the Crown Towers plenty of times and normally I rate it highly but it’s definitely gone down hill over the years. My last stay was over New Years and not the best at all. Room was dirty, aircon had a note saying it didn’t work that seemed to be written by a kid, door did not lock even after they said it was fixed for us, toiletries were missing and rooms were not cleaned till very late in the day. Definitely didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel room this time. I would stay again because of it being in the best location and staff were helpful and apologetic for the issues but they definitely need to lift their hotel game up!!

Very good experience. We upgraded to 2bedroom villa. Super big and luxurious. Love it

I usually go there with my friends and family for games and bowling.

We have stayed at Crown Metropol 10+ times and this was the first time we stayed at Crown Towers. The location is fantastic, the restaurants are amazing and the rooms were really spacious and comfortable. We would probably stay at Metropol for the extra money it costs to stay at the towers but overall an amazing hotel.

Restaurants, bars, casino, location are top class but some negatives are most restaurants on the public holidays over Christmas were charging 15% public holiday surcharges & considering Crown is already high priced I find this excessive.|the pool while good is a little dated & needs to have a better bar area for the pool with table service like Perth Crown The outdoor Sundale area seems wasted it would have been good to have a plunge pool or spa in that area.|We also had confusion at check in with our room changed from the premier twin with a bath changed to a disability twin with no bath having stayed at Crown towers Perth I find the Melbourne one to be a fair bit behind & a 4 star hotel at best.|View was great & right near the Christmas water shows.

Decided this year to go to crown towers for Christmas I booked early got a good price was greeted by a friendly front desk named abbey was more than helpful we got our rooms quickly for a busy time the only negative is the new pool hours very limited time I would think again about staying at crown unless they changed the hours but over all had a pleasant time as normal I would be just careful about the holiday surcharges

I’m giving 5 stars, not because it was absolutely perfect, but because I can’t do a 4.5 star rating. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crown Towers in Melbourne. We had a Premiere room with 2 king beds as it was my husband, myself and our 4 year old son. ||First, I’d like to say the rooms were lovely. Very clean, beautifully presented with additional amenities (eg comfy pillows and a tv to watch in the bath etc). They have an amazing mini bar, pod machine etc. it was extremely comfortable. In addition, the hotel offers everything you need - fantastic food court with a delicious array of food that is well made but reasonably priced. Top restaurants, fashion boutiques and the opportunity for a night out … you really don’t have to leave. Location is great, as you can just pop out for a walk onto the south bank board walk. |The best part was the amazing pool! Our son loved it. It felt like you were entering a bath house in Ancient Rome |We found the room service to be very attentive and predominantly used the room ipad to organise extra pillows, food etc. ||I think the only criticism I would have is that check in is at 3 and the line up was huge. It felt a bit cattle class. However, if you arrive earlier you can store your baggage and the porters will bring them up to your room later. ||Reception staff were relatively friendly, but I think they could be a bit more attentive in their approach.||Overall, a wonderful stay for under $400 a night and we are returning for my birthday in Jan

The hotel is good location but pretty old, facilities need to upgraded now, the buffet breakfast is not many varieties and only 1 hour sitting. If you want to have a romantic or relaxing stay, it's not a good choice. Won't stay here again.

I'm been here few times. Love it
