The entire place is just claw machines (rigged with payout or claws that are too small for the prizes). Don't come here.

My partner and myself love coming here for date night. Since they have upgraded the place they now have dart boards on the bowling side and it’s so good since my partner enjoys a game of darts

I recently hosted my son's 21st birthday at Kingpin Crown Melbourne, booking the Diamond Party package, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and professionally organised. A special shoutout to Mikayla from the marketing team, who ensured everything was perfectly arranged, Sara, our exceptional host who made the night effortless, and Dave, the manager on the night, whose leadership and hospitality truly stood out. Their dedication and attention to detail made all the difference, and I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond to make the evening special. The food, cocktails, private Room 300, and bowling were outstanding, and every aspect of the night exceeded our expectations. It was a truly memorable celebration, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kingpin at Crown Melbourne for anyone looking to host a special event. Highly recommended!

The section with the rhythm games (maimai, DDR, etc) always smells intensely of BO. It’s also badly designed because they’re all right next to each other, so you can never hear the songs in the game you’re playing. Makes quite an unpleasant experience. Maybe add a few more fans/air fresheners and a sign reminding people to shower and use deodorant before playing? And rearrange the machines to be further apart.

Service is always good, staff are always friendly and ready to help, especially Tahj who has helped me with issues on multiple occasions!

In 2018 I went to kingpin for my birthday and as I was checking out with my prizes she was there and was absolutely lovely and made my whole experience 1000x better. Since then I’ve been back to kingpin several times and every time I think about that moment and I am forever thankful for her kindness, and without fail when I see her she always has the biggest smile on her face. The fun my staff had here on Sunday night, Kingpin has gained new visitors monthly. Once again thank you for the outstanding service. Ohhh I must mention our 5 STAR server Paul! You rocked!!

No customers service at all, I was in the middle of my bowling game with my son waiting for my pizza, chips and drinks and They finished my session because I was allowed to stay just 30 minutes there, such a incredible way to make $105 in that period of time.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this venue. We had a bowling session booked for 9:30 pm. The security team was not only rude but also racially discriminatory. They harassed us, chased us down, and caused so much stress that we couldn’t even enjoy our game. If you are a person of color, I would strongly advise against going here, as you are more likely to be treated unfairly, harassed, or even threatened by the security staff. Despite showing them our ID, they insisted that we download the Vic Roads app to verify our IDs, even though there was no service or internet access in the facility and we were in the middle of a game. They claimed that they asked everyone for ID, but when I asked others, it became clear they only targeted us. No one else had to provide their ID or download the app as they told them a photo was enough. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Racism should never be tolerated. It’s deeply concerning and disturbing that security staff behave this way, and it raises serious questions about how this business hires and manages their personnel. I did report the incident to the bar manager, who was genuinely sorry and took some responsibility for the situation. He promised to speak with the security team, but this behavior should not be ignored. People come here to have fun, not to be treated with such disrespect. Security staff should be professional and treat everyone with dignity, regardless of race. This experience was appalling and I will definitely not be returning to such place .

As someone who's gotten into arcade games a lot over the past year, I don't come here as much as I want to, but this place is a total vibe, absolutely love it. Tons of games (+ a lot that are hard to find elsewhere) and this place is massive. A couple of the machines I played there (particularly DANCERUSH STARDOM) had some maintenance issues but wasn't a big deal, and PIXEL was a really unique yet engaging game to play. I'd recommend this place to anyone, will be coming back whenever I get the chance.

Update 13/2/25 Who came up with the genius layout? The maimai background tapping blocks all the sound for other games and the rhythm games all clash with each other, I was told by the KingPin team that this is up to the Arcade Manager, who is this Arcade Manager I could contact? I asked if I could email Dylan and the staff just repeated it's the arcade manager, there was no name. Thanks. Placing the Chunithm machine right next to the DDR cab is also extremely silly Just go to Fortress or BLucky, aka somewhere that actually cares about their gamers and not just the drunk adults and tourist families The single star are for their service staff who do their best and are very friendly and cannot control this Original review DDR pads are terrible but it's a decent venue with top notch staff and good range of rhythm games There's a blonde bartender that's absolutely phenomenal and makes my visit every time when I go for water / coffee, didn't catch their name FYI Taiko drum 2 is great, but drum 1 really needs maintenance, bashed it and still not sensitive. Would be great if updated to 3 songs instead of 2 as well to match the price point of other TZ venues

If I can give them 0 I would. Been to arcades around the world and this was the rudest I've ever been treated. Basically took our credit and made us leave halfway through a game when we were finishing up
