What a breath of fresh air Shay was! He not only knew his computers off by heart - he showed me exactly what I was looking for! He didn't try to sell me what he wanted to sell me and I explained to him how refreshing that was. Since I'm buying tomorrow, I asked how he could still get the sale. He told me they don't work on commission. If that is what makes the difference in their customer service, I hope Officeworks pay their staff a decent wage. Unfortunately I just googled pay for sales assistants at Officeworks - $26.37ph.... gosh! Service as good as that demands a much higher hourly rate. C'mon Officeworks, you're profits are obscene. You should pay your brilliant salespeople a living wage, at least.
Had wonderful service yesterday from Yvonne. Required to print A3 copies of a house and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Yvonne for making my day so much easier, really appreciated you :)
If anyone wants or is looking for the white pens to use for Coco wyo colouring in book office works do sell, uni-ball signor broad white markers. It adds amazing details to my colourings. I definitely recommend

Justin store manager is rude and has zero customer service skills. He should be sacked immediately. He has made his own rules for this store. Also, staff need to brush up on Australian consumer laws and their OWN POLICIES. Staff is not following the refund process, which is clearly displayed on the officeworks website.

I am totally not tech savvy but beautiful Krystal came to the rescue and had the patience of a saint trying to help me with copying certain items from my phone. Officeworks gained a gem when they employed Krystal. Well done 10/10 to you Krystal👏
I printed a photo at the service desk around 9:30 AM, understanding it was a busy day with the back-to-school rush. I was told it would take about half an hour, which I was happy to wait for. I left to run some errands and returned around 2 PM. Throughout the day, I tried calling the store three times but couldn’t get through to try and get an update on my order. Despite waiting all morning and early afternoon, I never received any update message. By the time I arrived back, my print still wasn’t ready, as they needed to change the roll, and I was told it would take another half an hour. It would have been helpful to be informed of this delay with a message or call as they had my number. The lack of communication was very frustrating, especially since the print was meant to be a gift. I ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes in the store, wandering around, without any communication that my order was ready. When I finally checked at the service desk, my print was ready and sitting there. Ironically, as I was leaving the store, I received a text saying my print was ready for pickup. I completely understand that stores can be busy and things like roll changes happen, and it’s not the employees’ fault. However, waiting for hours and hours for two small prints, with no updates or clear communication, is unacceptable. This experience could have been much smoother with just a bit more communication. I’m happy to wait and go about my day, I just need to know what’s happening instead of guessing and trying to call multiple times without anyone picking up or not receiving any messages and if my order is ready and there’s no one in line while it just sits there, I think that would have been a perfect time to message me, not after I pick up my order and had to go up and ask again and again. I personally believe that my order was forgotten about and I would have never received it if I hadn’t gone back to the store and asked in person multiple times (hours later). I also understand that’s life and these things happen too. How hard is it then to apologise and quickly correct it.
Went in there to buy a laptop, asked about price matching. Justin was really rude and was obvious he didn’t want to help or recommend anything so decided to go elsewhere. Far from a good customer experience
My husband tried to return a $12 product. It didn't work properly. He had the original packaging and showed them his bank statement (something their signage clearly states is a legal form of proof of purchase) and was told by staff member and manager that they'd recently updated their policies. He was forced to leave the store, call a number only to be told it was a legal form of receipt to show bank statement but he had found the receipt in the car thankfully and they happily gave him a refund then, but what if he hadn't found it? Staff need to brush up in Australian consumer laws and their OWN POLICIES (which clearly states a bank statement is a legal form of receipt!)
I had an excellent experience with the staff at officeworks Ipswich on Friday, especially with a team member named Casey she went above and beyond to help me with my printing issue. I was trying to print a photo and make it double-sided, and I was having some trouble figuring it out. Casey was incredibly patient, walked me through the steps, and made sure everything was set up correctly. She had extensive knowledge on the products and also gave recommendations on what she thought would be a better fit for the outcome I was after. Thanks to her help, my print turned out perfectly! Great customer service and a very knowledgeable team—highly recommend!

Just wanted to let you know that your staff member Brandon is awesome. I went in today to do some printing but couldn’t get my laptop to work ( 60 year old technically challenged woman) Brandon patiently helped me with the Internet and organised my printing. Tried calling in to check if they had an item in stock, they picked up the phone and immediately hung up on me.
The service at Ipswich Officeworks is appalling and the primary offender is the manager. He has staff loitering, while customers queue to wait attention. Far better to use the facility at Oxley, where service is friendly and attentive.
Staff are just rude and they are always out for stock with things.
Terrible service, this morning was there, can see staffs were lingering around, but no one can ask for help with straight somehow . No one in the registration area apart from one lady was in printing. I then moved to that area waited to pay. Somehow she moved to another direction to serve others . She said that’s printing area when she found I was unhappy. She even didn’t mention once or lead me to the right section just ignore me, kept me to wait .
Went to office works at Ipswich this week very disappointed with level of service there wasn't any.looks like I was an inconvenience to the people there as they were too busy running around doing nothing.ill try not to shop there next time. what a shame as there products are quite good.lift your game guys
Came to this store on Tuesday morning 7 May 2024, to get my passport size photo taken and print. Young lady at the entrance is nice and helpful. But then I had to go to the printing desk to be served by another lady. Printing desk only have 2 ladies that work that day. But the lady that served me showing me thise rude, disrespect behavior with no care in the world towards me. Throwing constant negative response to my questions instead of replying with knowledge. I will try not to go near this store again giving this negative experience. If I need Office supply better go online so I don't need to face this kind of rude behavior. If I need to get ink or device, I better get it on the yellow-black company. FYI, I went here to get the same service, which is passport photo for visa to Europe, the guy that did it is helpful and have a good customer service. But clearly this lady that serve me have too much going on in her life that intervene with her work.
Visited 3 times in as many days recently, each time it was too busy for the amount of staff at the service area. So you’re waiting in line while there’s only one person service 1-2 on printing and one floating around not doing much. The first time I went I explained what I needed a cable to be able to do, I was given one, it didn’t work so I came back, explained what I had didn’t work and again explained what I needed and was given another one, it didn’t work, came back again, asked again, was given one that works but wasn’t given any options, was spoken to this time like I was inconveniencing him. I won’t be coming back to this store and would discourage others.
Every time I go to Officeworks Ipswich there's a queue waiting for the printers. You need more printers, and the ability to recharge cards at the machines. It's ridiculous needing to wait in the service counter queue for a top up of a printer card. After waiting 15 minutes to access a printer, I wasn't giving up the printer just to recharge my card. There's 5 photo printers, which are rarely used, get rid of a couple and install extra printer/copiers. You'll get far more money & customet satisfaction that way, and far more staff satisfaction also as they won't bear the brunt of customer frustration created by management not progressing with customers needs.

I went to get full travel itinerary book over 80 pages binded at this officeworks the girl binding the book made a mistake and used the wrong bind and began again I asked if I could have the mistaken one aswell anyway and she said no and that id have to pay for it. so I asked where it was going to go and she said into recycling, the booklet had a plastic clear cover and plastic binding from my knowledge plastic and paper cannot be recycled together, we watched them throw it into the recycle bin without taking off the plastic too when they could have just given it to us especially considering our time was wasted due to the workers mistakes. Considering officeworks promises to the environment and efforts to be a 100% environmentally friendly business it seems the workers at this particular franchise don't seem to understand how basic recycling works let alone customer service. Please don't throw out mistakes made by the employees especially if it can still be of use to the customer let's aim for a kinder and more sustainable future. Thoroughly disappointed hope this gets fixed in the near future and officeworks teaches proper recycling and empathy to its workers.

I have visited this location a few times now and each time I have noticed a distinct pattern. The customer service at the front counters is amazing, but every other staff member in the store acts like you're a massive inconvenience to them. One of the staff members today ran into my trolley and then told me very condescendingly to leave my trolley to the side to grab my items. I had my 2 boys sitting in the trolley so it wasn't a reasonable request to ask me to just leave them unattended in a trolley while I grabbed a few items. I won't be back.

Heed the Warning! Don't bother or waste your time telephoning the Ipswich Officeworks Store, or waste your time to visit the store! They didn't bother to answer the telephone, after 10 attempts to telephone the store during their listed opening/trading hours. The irony of their sheer arrogance Shouts! Continuously not answering the telephone, is always a good indicator, a warning sign and a great deterrent as to the lack of, or no service you will receive, if you bother making a concerted effort to actually visit the store. I will now source all of my office supplies and back to school supplies elsewhere. I have informed all of my friends and colleagues to simply just boycott the Ipswich Officeworks Store, and to purchase all of their office supplies and back to school supplies elsewhere, to which I posted on all social media sites. Officeworks loss! Not ours!

Disgusting customer service. I bought two ipads from them, for grandkids for Christmas, to get them ready for them on Christmas day we went straight to a GREAT computer store and got them to put on a shatterproof screen protector. We then put them both on charge, to find one did not work, so we went again all the way to officeworks Ipswich to get another iPad and explained not happy we bought GREAT screen protector and would like reimburse or another one put on the new one. They put a plastic piece of rubbish which was like the ones you peel off when you first buy them, It was peeling all around when the child opened it. I went straight back to my local expert and got them to put a real shatterproof screen protector again. I rung Ipswich Officeworks, I got a not so pleasant Manager, she said we have not seen proof of the two protectors, so can only reimburse the first one. I said so I have to use more fuel and do a third trip to you for something that should have been done in one trip. So off again a few days later I went out there, gave a young lass at front counter the proof and explained what it was for. Over 2 weeks later still nothing. So I rung up again, I asked please explain, The fellow was lovely, he said he would speak to the manager that I spoke to the very next day. Still no contact 4 days later, so I rung again (do they feel ignore us and we will give up, umm, not me). I got the first female manager again (Miss rudeness), she said I did not ask for proof and would refund you for the second time, she said you should have came back again and we would have put another one on. I said why on earth would I have ran the second proof out after discussing it, why on earth would I want your fake peeling screen protector on again, she said oh no we have better ones. Well if I paid $40 for one, why on earth would you replace with like a cling rap film. So now I am told the $40 for the first one is on way but we will not be refunding for the second time as you should have came back to us, Who on earth would go back for clingwrap when you want it shatter proof for little ones. I ended up hanging up, as she did not care about her EX-loyal customers. PS: Office works Oxley are great, Yet Officeworks Ipswich do not care about their customers who have an issue because you sold something broken

Today I went in to buy a laptop for studies next year. I had made up my mind and decided to go stand at the service desk. Two people came over, got onto the computer in front of me and ignored me, didn't even acknowledge me. I soon asked for help at the registers and got told to stand by the laptops to wait for someone to help. Here's the good part about the review. A young man with short, orange hair came over and was so nice. He helped me buy my laptop, reminded me of flybuys and even took $100 off because it's practically the same thing as the one you have on your phone". He deserves a raise."
Bad customer service all round - so unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful . Ended up leaving the few things I had on the counter and walking out . Do better
Our family was served by Jake today who did all of our passport photos. It all happened very seamlessly and Jake was kind, courteous and professional. He is an asset to your business.
Waited on phone for 45 minutes to get a rude attitude. The staff and manager would make their lives happier if the took a Customer Service course. ..but it comes down to whether they value their jobs...ps I spent a good amount of money for a delivery only to get part of the office chair delivered. When I tried to get help the attitude from Officeworks was don't tell me your problem. My problem is there is absolutely no customer care help or service. Congratulations staff you get the wooden spoon as your trophy. Maybe one day you will realise what goes round comes round. Hope you improve but I don't see that happening you don't have the ability.
Very disappointed with customer service. It took 30 mins to get my passport size photograph to be taken on 23/09/23 at 11:00 am.
Went to get some printing done today, the staff member Shay helped me out and he was awesome to deal with, he has helped me with printing a couple times in the past and he knows what he’s doing. Turned my order around in a couple hours even though the store was absolutely packed with print jobs. Thanks Shay! Went in again today for more printing. Was served by Tree, he was also awesome to deal with and very helpful. Thank you

Staff are friendly and helpful. I have been a customer for years and have never had a problem.
Initially unimpressed by the help from the printing desk. My wife had gone in to get things printed at self serve, didnt work then printed at the desk and charged us double. I came back to get one more hand with the printing after explaining my previous frustraition they waved then next small costs. In my view made a mistake then other staff attempted to make up.
Conveniently located next to Coles. They have a wide range of stationary, educational toys, electronic, and electrical items. Photocopy and printing facilities are also provided here. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is ample parking available both on the same level and ground floor.
Went to Officeworks Ipswich today with an issue with my printer that I had bought there in May. I was lucky enough to have Jake looking after me and he was absolutely wonderful with his attention and great customer service. He solved the issue and I left feeling great that he had looked after me so well. I do shop at Officeworks quite consistently and have always been served by great people, however today was the first time that I actually was returning with a problem and he was just great in handling it. Excellent staff but one stuck as an asset to your company her name is Teresa, she went above and beyond to find the specific acetate sheeting I was after and nothing was a problem to her. Also very convenient parking under OW and easy access...overall great place & I will be back & will be telling my friends.
Went to Officeworks today for a new phone, store was incredibly busy, staff were so helpful and then further secured a better deal on phone for me! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks so much guys!

I always have a good experience at the Ipswich branch but would like to say a special thankyou to Corinne today. Corinne was quick, efficient and charming as she did some complex printing and laminating while giving help to another staff member.
Mistreated by the manager Jenny who has no customer service skills is rude and needs to be fired so Officeworks can uphold their reputation as a store who looks after their customers cause while Jenny is there this will not be the case.. Jenny looks down on those who have additional needs as was the case we experienced.. Jenny starts huge issues in store by her terrible attitude & horrible customer service skills..
Very rude.. tried to swap a laptop but apparently it was way too much hassle to search on the computer to see that I actually bought it there.. even though I had a receipt..after a few words from me it took the scruffy young bloke less than 60 seconds to find my info...never again. I will pay double the price elsewhere rather than go back there...
Was told my click and collect order was ready on the phone, drove 20 minutes it wasn’t even ready. Got a text saying it was ready the next day I go and collect one home to find items missing. That’s 2 40 minute round trip and these people just can’t get right the manager was useless and basically told me to get over it.

It would be nice if you served your customers in order of them arriving to be served! I stood there waiting and I have a walking stick, and had people push in front and were served before me, but if course it doesn't matter about someone with a walking stick having to stand when I couldn't really stand... so good work!!! I will think twice about coming to office works again!
Worst Officeworks I’ve ever been to. You will ALWAYS be waiting in line for ages, even when you pick up a click and collect they’ll be running around headless chooks. Most of the staff are really lacking with people skills.
Can't even use the toilets here in this shopping centre was about to pee myself and the toilets are for emergency use only apparently what an absolute joke definitely won't be coming back here again!!

I bought HP laptop a year ago.laptop started playing up before warranty run out.I have returned to office works Ipswich Qld to get it repaired.after 1 month almost no reply or response from office works. Irang OW to find out what’s happening response was oh sorry my LapT stills sitting in store and hasn’t been sent yet to HP to repair.I am struggling with out LTop.out of job due to slackness of Office W. Absolutely disappointed and angry 0/5
2 people serving the same customer whilst you have 6 people waiting in line, not to mention the amount of staff on the floor! Be a pity if you are in a hurry and couldn’t wait
Stubborn guy scruffy looking at the counter with glasses, not friendly, no people skills, not approachable at all… just seems like everything is to hard for him to do, went there a few times to get binding done, turned away all the time, when asked why he couldn’t do it, he stated that I’d have to leave it there and pick it up the next day.. I mean for 30 pages you need 24hrs to do it,??? And than he said binding service is done from 10am..3 pm, I was there at 4:30pm..they close at 9pm !! i feel sorry for all the other young kids that do a great service there, he shouldn’t be at the front counter, I mean I go in there if his there, I would rather drive to Oxley or garden city office works, because I know the answer would be no. my experience with him at Ipswich office works, terrible service doesn’t deserve a star at all

Why do Officeworks advertise they do passport photos when they don’t? Not for children anyways who cannot stand on their own! That’s False advertisement and then the rep at Ipswich OW go on to say “not even Australia post will take their photos” pfffffft if you’re going to advertise a service on your website you best be prepared to cater for ALL ages AND if you’re going to talk down another business take a good damn look at your company services first I Do not recommend Ipswich Office works for baby passport photos definitely recommend Australia Post!
Huge array of stock, quick service.
My partner went in to buy a phone. He was in there for 40 mins. Not 1 person asked if he needed help. He went to service desk noone looked up from the computer screens. No service at all. Will never return there
Don't buy anything from this place the laptop I got there is the biggest piece of junk. I went and saw them about it and the manager gave me attitude. On Tuesday I'll be taking legal action against Officeworks Ipswich in the small claims court. If you are thinking of shopping here run as far and as fast as you can.

Officeworks Ipswich is a great place to shop I buy all my products there have been shopping there for four years I would recommend them very helpful staff
Very poor care when packing customer orders. Absolutely no respect for the customer or what they have paid for. No protection inside the box and the items are just thrown in with one piece of tape on the box. Poor choice in using Toll to deliver as well. They're just as bad when it comes to respecting a customers property. The staff need to be taught how to cut down a box to the size needed for an order. Or at least add something to protect the contents so it's not just loose and falling around inside the box. I hope my orders never come from this store again IF I ever want to waste money again.
Disgusted in the way I got help, when I went to the register, which was right at the end, just before her register I threw them on the bench, the lady ‘Jo’ watched me struggle and then said I should have got a helper, I said I did but my mum went to look at something, even the lady at the entrance didn’t move, she struggled to know were things where when I asked when we got there, we do a lot of business with Officeworks and am really re-considering that.🤔🤔🤔
If you want any kind of customer service I would advise against going to Officeworks. Staff aren't helpful ever and always seem more interested in talking to eachother than the customers they are paid to help. I value good customer service, so I would rather shop elsewhere for the laptop, cell and smart watch I was intending on buying at officeworks (mainly so I could earn a few flybuys points, but it's just not worth it to put up with the poor service)

I called to ask a question that could of been answered really easily too my call NOT been answered even after 3 minutes of it ringing. That to me is very poor customer service 😢.
In my opinion, there are systematic issues with customer service in this store. Constructive feedback appears to be disregarded, with staff members who are providing excellent customer service stunted by management that are more concerned with the bottom-line rather than meeting customer expectations. Recent experiences in store have demonstrated a complete lack of respect, empathy and basic listening skills, when resolving customer queries.
Bad service, no professionalism, treated like I wasn't a customer and didn't deserve their attention.
