A comfortable 3 star room at a reasonable price, location was handy, with eateris within walking distance. Management and staff were very friendly and rectified any issues we had promptly. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Would stay again.

We were shafted by our AirBnB a day before a public holiday and had to quickly find a place to stay. Rang the Mulgrave and Victor accommodated me and family for two nights. It’s a comfy budget place… our room had comfy beds and a nice bathroom. We appreciated the service and recommended this for a comfy budget friendly place in a convenient location.

Room was clean and generally comfortable the Manager was a nice person and helpful. However be warned the water pressure in the shower was terrible and dangerous. The cold would drop off and you get scolded thus must be fixed. We were in an upstairs room I suggest you find another hotel until they address this issue

Made a last-minute reservation and arrived late. The manager greeted me warmly and offered helpful assistance. The room was spacious, and the recently renovated bathroom was a nice touch. I would definitely choose to stay at this location again.

These are really friendly and helpful people. There are good places to eat a short stroll away. The bathrooms look recently renovated, and the air-conditioning units keep the rooms at your favourite temperature

I stay here on a regular bases due to work commitments. Good Rooms at a Good Price. Staff are always accommodating with any request from wanting a ground room floor to putting the heater on before I arrive (often late at night). There is a Pub just across the road for a good hearty meal or just a short walk around the corner, is a number of takeaway cafes and restaurants to choose from. I notice there is alway plenty of other people staying here due to work (usually tradies) which is always a good sign for a Motel.

Victor is very Friendly. I always enjoy staying at the mulgrave it is my favourite motel in Melbourne. I have stayed there a few times now and the breakfast is delicious and nice. The drinks are cold. Excellent parking outside of the room the beds are comfortable. The tv is good you can bring your own DVD/bluray player and watch movies. The rooms are clean. The shower is nice and hot and relaxing. The mulgrave isn't to far from the sandown Park hotel. Victor is a very kind and friendly person. Victor is very helpful.

We stayed here after a disastrous booking in the city. Staff friendly, welcoming & helpful, we felt very at home. Newly refurbished room & en suite. Great bus & train links into the city, excellent pub 100m away for lunch/dinner & local café 5 mins walk away for breakfast. Would highly recommend as an alternative to city accommodation.

Second time staying at the Mulgrave motel. Victor and Sarah were most friendly and obliging. Amenities here were excellent....large clean room with modern bathroom. Great location...close to Hospital which we had to attend . Adjacent to the Vale Hotel...wonderful food. Would certainly recommend this motel and will stay here again if required. Loved the drinks and Tim Tams !

My husband and I stayed at The Mulgrave Hotel for just over a week. Victor and Sarah were very inviting and anything we needed, they attended to us promptly. Excellent service. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable and new. The sheets and towels were fresh and crisp, which was perfect to come back to after a long day out. The shower was very relaxing and a cleaning crew came by everyday. We highly recommend The Mulgrave Hotel.

Soooo we were looking for a short stay with a cheaper price and we saw the Mulgrave Motel, the place was nice, unfortunately was not so clean (hair in the bathroom and etc) The location is about 30 min away from the attractions we went to, so I wouldn't say the Best location, but again for the price, was ok. My favorite thing was that we had Netflix! Although the internet was NOT the best.. I still managed to enjoy the room and its facilities. Keep in mind the bed was really soft, to those who prefer a harder mattress. Overall I would recommend one or two nights here top and just for sleep - a go in-go out kind of stop. P.s Victor at the desk was very welcoming and was very responsive via booking messagings when I asked about parking and wifi.

I’m still staying here and honestly the hospitality and the way I’m treated here is amazing. Victor has been so easy going and helpful here during my stay I haven’t had to worry about a thing. This Motel was my home away home for a few weeks. Victor and Sarah are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have stayed in ever in a Motel and Netflix available was just awesome! Rooms smelt so clean and fresh! Cleaning team were very nice, always topped me up with tea and coffee and biscuits :) This is my new go to place when I need to go to Melbourne.

This was my second time booking a room here.Both occasions I was greeted kindly by Victor & Sarah and was given a cool drink and chocolate while handing over my keys.From my experience you get more then what you pay for,rooms are clean and spacious which includes a mini fridge and was surprised that TV comes with Netflix which is a bonus.Overall I enjoyed my stay on both occasions and it won't be my last.Thanks Victor,Sarah & Crew..Keep up the great work.

We stayed one night in a family room. The room was clean, freshly painted with an elegant bathroom area. Bedding was crisp and inviting with super, soft pillows, the rainfall shower was just fabulous. As for the service - absolutely lovely. Victor was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Is was a pleasure to stay in this refurbished motel, we will be back!

The host was very warming and kind. Offered us cold bottle water and soft drink when we checked in. My 7yr old daughter was so touched by her kindness she left a note saying thank you when we left. The host was also very accomadating for us to have a late check out. Room was nice and clean, renovated with new bathroom. We only stayed 1 night but definitely will come back again.

Friendly service functional room

Stayed here for two weeks in two different rooms one was really nice, the other was on the ground floor, could not sleep all week, as the person above had guests on the hour every hour all night doing adult activities.

Sarah and Victa are amazing people and friendly. Go to stay if your on the fly looking for accommodation before 11pm is always a possibility for a room and clean really lovely people couldn't fault a single thing. If your on drugs think otherwise. 👍🏽
