Venue is nice on the inside but most of the food is processed and underwhelming.

Had dinner twice here over the last 2 weeks. The 180g eye fillet was perfect both times. The desserts were only ok. I'd go again for the eye fillet in a heartbeat 😉

Had the Salt & Pepper Calamari - $30, fresh and decent size serving! Lovely place to go for a nice meal!

Great RSL Club, fantastic meals as you'd expect. Membership deal is awesome and then gives you further discounts! RSL's as you remember them!

We have visited this place before. Food is great and reasonably priced. Large dining area and a sports bar to the side. We have utilised all areas over our visits. Bathrooms are conveniently located close to tables. Parking onsite, road and across from RSL. Think ahead as can be hard to find.

What an absolute shocker. Processed chicken. If you want to charge $32 dollars at least get good chicken. Food was sub standard. That is not a chicken Parma and please stop calling it a Parma.

Pleasant experience but don't order salmon patties not freshly made but processed and deep fried was very ordinary.

Went a few times with family and friends over Xmas period. Easy to get a table and food was very good. Never had a bad meal there and staff always nice. Easy parking.

Great experience here, was busy but our order came out in a reasonable time and all together. The scotch fillet steak was exceptional, cooked as ordered with a nice salad and hot crunchy chips. Rye RSL is setting the bar high for bistro/pub food.

Wonderful atmosphere and family-friendly environment. The food was good and came out quickly, considering it was a packed house. Would go again if we were in the area.

Extremely busy the night we went. I would recommend the roast of the day. All other items we ordered had little to no flavor.

One of the best RSLs around. Everyone was so kind. There was a massssive line for food BUT we received our food so fast it was quite surprising!

State gluten free on their menu but aren't actually gluten free friendly. I asked for a burger gluten free and got the fillings of the burger on a board with paper under it so not only was it not a burger, I had to pick through it to avoid the paper. Not worth $27 I paid. Everyone elses food looks good

Massive line to order but the line moved quick and our food came out surprisingly quickly and was very nice. Decent salad with the Parma too which is rare. Would def come back

Just WOW, had the eye fillet with vegetables. Cooked just right medium rare and very little wait time.

Had lunch yesterday with my partner, went for the seniors menu. The beef lasagne and fried snapper both meals were shocking, the lasagne was burnt and the snapper was tasteless. Definately has gone downhill in choice and quality of meals.

Being a Wednesday night , we expected it wouldn’t be busy! Wrong! Had to queue for 20 minutes to place order. At 6:30, we were told that both of our requests were unavailable. These selections were the only healthier food options so unfortunately had to order items that we didn’t really want. Salad accompanying the fried food was nice. We were in a large group so we couldn’t walk out and leave the birthday celebrations. Definitely don’t. come here for atmosphere and ambience. Food was quite expensive for the tasteless options. Servings were huge

Been coming here for a while and it has usually been good. One of the most recent times coming here I ordered the calamari and got sick from it. Thought yesterday I’d come back and give it another chance, oh what a bad decision that was! Ordered the Parma in the sports bar. Had 2 bites and thought the texture was slimy. Took the toppings off to realise it was CRAPPY PROCESSED CHICKEN. And to top it off it was undercooked hence the texture as well. Was really disappointed. Lastly there was two ants on my napkin. Please lift your game for the locals!!

Good fish

Steak night was anything but enjoyable. Only 6 tables of patrons and our steaks were dry and tasteless. Focaccia with steak, 2 slices with chunky raw capsicum was not palatable at all. It's such a shame the restaurant lets this well set out establishment down. Gone backwards with their food quality. Not worthy of photos

Attended here today for a family birthday. The woman, Donna taking orders at the register had abysmal service. Didn’t once crack a smile, very abrupt and almost like it was an inconvenience she had to serve customers, let alone answer my questions about the gluten free options on the menu. My husband said the bar staff service was not much better. My gluten free meal came and it was almost kids meal size compared to the rest on the table. I doubt I would return for simply how bad the service was alone.

As regulars here, we were surprised to find that the menu had changed. Gone were the crumbed prawns as a stand out dish and replaced with a roast and other items. I ordered the scotch fillet, medium well which turned out to be well done, dry and very tough. What remains unchanged is that meals are served with either salad, or veg. When veg is ordered, the serving is enormous with a wide choice. When you order chips and salad however, this tiny accompaniment comes out that contains exactly 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and lettuce. I would prefer they offered a coleslaw or alternative that was a bit more than an accompaniment. Tonight was unimpressive!

New “Menu” was a great change except for the sweets poor choices!!! Very Disappointing!!

You enter the premises, and the first thing you notice is the wall of poppy's. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Meals are well priced and very tasty. I had the calamari, and you could cut it with a spoon. It was so tasty. Partner had the fish, and they liked it. Definitely would go back again.

Food is Good value for money in a pleasant environment.

Ordered at 745pm and waited patiently for our food. 4 out of 6 dishes came in, but not the grilled lamb salad and Asian calamari salad. Waited for 50mins, as we saw the kitchen was busy. Finally flagged a staff member, and was told that they were cooking it now with no apologies and a disdain look. Received food at 850pm. While the lamb salad was good, the Asian salad was watery and fried calamari had no taste. 2 stars mainly for service.

Coffees at this rsl are $10 each absolutely a rip off!

Always a great place to attend Beers cold and food is fresh

Went on a Saturday night which was pretty busy but we had a booking so it was all good. The service was great, really friendly staff. Food was overall ok - I had the parma which was a pretty decent size but a bit bland. Steaks looked pretty good as well as the calamari. Unfortunately one of our tables meals was wrong and by the time it was fixed the rest of us had all but finished. For a pub/RSL meal it was nice, good variety of meals and priced well. Would go back again.

Steak was terrible

I've not been to Rye R.S.L. before, would I go back? In a heartbeat, the meals equal any top 5 star restaurant and very reasonably priced. The staff are efficient, cheerful, and only to happy to help. I'm disappointed that I forgot to post photos of our meals, but hey, go there and experience it yourself.

Great place for a family dinner. Clean and service was wonderful. Food was amazing and recommended for the local area. Our Porterhouse stake was cooked medium exactly to our liking. Marinara Linguini was full of fresh seafood.

Great, our “favourite” RSL. Lovely friendly staff, food always good. Decent prices and very clean dining area. Lovely big airy lounge/bistro. Parking is a breeze. Highly recommended.

The Rye RSL is a really enjoyable dining experience whilst on the Peninsula. With a modern decor and a well selected menu, including some excellent seafood dishes, you will certainly find value for money. If oysters are your thing then I suggest starting with a dozen Oysters Kirkpatrick. Whilst not the hugest oysters, they are certainly fresh and prepared perfectly. Just the correct amount of everything to make them sensational. The grilled Barra was cooked to perfection and the scallops were large and plump and perfectly cooked to bring out their best. The dessert offerings were a little disappointing so we opted not to indulge. Great cold beer and stunning food in a classy RSL atmosphere. Will revisit there for sure!

We had a lovely weekend lunch experience at this venue. The food impressed with its consistent quality across various dishes. The recently refurbished interior boasts a comfortable and modern style, featuring diverse seating areas. The service was commendable, and the overall atmosphere was neat and tidy. It's a kid-friendly spot, too.

I was a member years ago. The only thing that annoyed me was the WRANS plaque that I donated couldn't be seen properly. They don't make them anymore. Also my membership card from Caloundra rsl in Queensland number 484 wouldn't work! It should work in every state!

Considering, there are many elderly people that eat and gamble, these people that work behind the counter are not the least happy to serve.and the coffee should be for free to customers that spend their money gambling. Just like other venue's that I've visited. Not happy 😒

Here Often - always an enjoyable experience. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Food is always good quality.

Very busy had to wait 45 minutes to get our meal but that could have been because it was the night before public holiday great food except for one dish that had a hair in it, told the staff got a free dessert.

drinks were awful pinot noir was terrible biut a bacardi and diet coke and that was awful.as well

Unbelievable RSL. best I've been to in Australia, Excellent establishment great Memorabilia display Clean and tidey and well organised stuff where fantastic and very professional in there trade, Not to mention the FOOD IS AMAZING!! So yummy great place to take the whole family

We only attend this RSL now. It is second only to the big Club in Albury. Rye RSL meets all our needs and more. From Noble Park we come for the bistro food , pricing, Seniors meals which are the equal of the main course, the spaced comfortable seating throughout the complex incl TAB and no coarse language as was prevalent at Rosebud.
