Way too noisy. Couldn't hear a thing over the din. Need more clear instructions when ordering cocktails from the end bar, I ended up paying for two instead of one. Food was very good (except the teeny tiny non existent oysters)

We had an 18th Birthday dinner booked earlier tonight. Table 122 I think. All the staff were so helpful from the beginning. One lady in particular, I didn't catch her name but she gave me a blue lighter for our cake. You were awesome 😊 Everybody loved the pizza's also! Thank you

Very noisy big crowd on Saturday early evenjng. Food ok. Prices for drinks and meals didnt represent valye for money though. There were not enough knives and forks for the booking and no pepper grinder. The one on the nearest empty table was also empty. Really good kids play areas.

So great ! We sat in beer garden and was perfect but weather dependant! The pizza we ordered was delicious and drinks arrived super fast - ordering is all done via QR code on each table so easy especially if you are a group removes the challenge of split bills.

Firstly, we were put on a table in the back corner of a room that was only half full. My steak was undercooked, tough and grisly and the chips had a bitter taste of what I think was vinegar, even though it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Extremely disappointing experience. Was the first time I had been there, and definitely the last. From what I have read on here, this place only responds to 4 and 5 star reviews. I’m interested to see if I get one.

My big concern is that with all the new renovations that’s been done, I can’t believe the kids playroom has no air conditioning or fans!! We struggled to sit there as it was very uncomfortably humid. We had a newborn baby and couldn’t stay long in there. Hopefully this will be rectified for the comfort of all the children who come to the Tavern.

We came for NYE and while the location is great the music was awful and really brought the vibe down, the VIP section had almost no seating, and drinks were quite expensive for a tavern.

Jay is the best worker ever, he should get paid the big bucks, he should get a pay rise!!

We returned to the Anglers for the first time since it reopened and it was like the Anglers of old. The Parma was a beautiful juicy freshly crumbed chicken breast and the Calamari was nice and tender. Delicious meal. The staff are great! Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Old Anglers atmosphere too. Love it !! We’ll return!

Been looking forward to coming here. It's a 3.5 star. It's easy very busy. The service was good and the food came out very quick. The food was ok Honestly, it's not cheap for pub quality food. The steak is $60 which was nice but nothing special The kids' area needs a bit of attention as a posed to what's advertised. Both kids rooms need a regular reset and there wasn't much equipment, but the girls had fun.

The food was delicious, we had eggplant parma, watermelon salad (delicious) salt & pepper calamari & fish & chips. The eggplant parma was excellent, well cooked with a delicious sauce. The chips were highly praised. Someone mentioned that it was a birthday celebration so the birthday person was served a complementary dessert. Sticky date pudding was chosen which was served with ice cream and a lit candle. It was a generous serve. The food was delicious, the wait staff very attentive and you can order either by QR code or at the bar. We chose QR and the process was very smooth. A great place to spend a leisurely cool afternoon during a heatwave.

Chris and Ben's assistance on the day were superb. Just had some minor setbacks with the attention to details of another event staff from the Event Information form to translating it to their BEO to on the day setup. Good thing it was rectified before the guests arrived. Food was great. Guests loved the gnocchi and the venue.

Food was delicious and the service was fast. Very much worth the money. Will come back again!

We went 1 month ago and had a 5 star time, we came again with 12 people and had another 5 star time. Food was all well presented and tasty. Kids meal in the box super cool idea. View was lovely and even accommodated with switch a TV off so the babies would watch while we where there. Thank you again and see u soon.

Hong Kong owned pub refuse to recognise or celebrate Australia Day. We wont be back. The food and services not that great either.

They have done a very good job of renovating this hotel. Looks great with different areas.

We went there for my mums birthday. She had booked weeks in advance. When we arrived there for 4 seats short for our group. Our order was wrong, another couple didn't get their order until everyone was finished, we complained twice. We were then told to leave because our time was up. This was never explained on booking. Then a staff member walked off past of my 10 year old and started swearing. It was not a great experience for my mum and our group.

Went to the anglers for their Christmas Day lunch. They had advertised the menu online for months prior and also had the printed menu on the table which stated there was a range of entrees to be shared, options for mains to be chosen and a range of desserts to be shared. However we only received 1 entree to be shared. We waited a while for the other shared entrees to come out before asking our waitress where they were. The reply we got was that there was a printing error and no more entrees would be coming out. This was very odd considering the menu was advertised for months prior to Christmas Day and clearly had stated there would be about 3-4 entrees to be shared and it was also on the table. Not only did the rest of the entrees not come out but we weren’t even offered a choice of which one we wanted. The main ended up being share plates and there was only enough potatoes for 3 each person. Dessert was the same situation as the entrees. It said there was options but we were only served 1 option out of the few on the menu and again was not given a choice. It was very unusual to have a set menu advertised but then take away options and not even advise customers prior to the day or upon arrival. The quality of the food was okay, the quantity was minimal and the service was fine.

Hadn't been in years - used to be my local when I lived in the area. Had dinner last night and the food was 10/10, really nice vegetarian options. Had the roasted pumpkin, mash and veggies were absolutely delicious! Very very busy on a Saturday night, but the food and drinks came out very quickly. Like how you have the QR scanner on the table so you can sit and enjoy without having to line up. Will be back soon. :)
