BIG W Sunbury

The staff is always friendly here and I love the range of products at resonable prices. I recently needed to get a replacement product as it stopped working and I can't thank Heather enough for her help! Heather's friendly and genuine communication and prompt customer service is second to none! Such a valuable staff member.

Easy click and collect. Has 2 bays at the front and the collecting was a breeze.

I preordered a special edition of of a book in June of last year excepting it to act like a normal preorder and be shipped out a bit earlier so it can arrive on day for a few days later. But it’s been over two weeks, and I cannot get any information about where it could be, or how long it’s going to take to get here, because the tracking number won’t work

We went to buy our Australia Day items to be told no stock in store have to be ordered on line not enough time this is Pathetic support and service

It looking a bit worse for wear now the stock levels seemed to be very low i get it was after Christmas but no way shelves should be so empty and I dunno what it was it just didn't seem like the place it used to be can I say it looks tired and stuck in the last decade or two.perhaps it needs a remodel or a big freshen up to overcome that feeling

Horrible customer service! Firstly don’t announce your colleague is deaf to customers and secondly don’t roll your eyes when the self service machine fails! This is your job, you chose to work there! So sick and tired of the rude customer service from women in their 50s who work at the Sunbury store.

I can honestly say I go here often to get some items, and by far this shop has the nicest staff. Great all around staff 5 stars

Pretty well organised and stocked and easy to get parking.

Took 20 minutes before anyone arrived at service desk to pick up click and collect and they didn't give me the items I had ordered

I offer here my honest opinion simply because it had occurred to me after countless years of visiting the store and i do not presume that everyone will have the same view but anyway.. My daughter and i visit often, we browse the entire store where possible, from an early age she has grown to understand the simple through to the complex and often delightfully surprising, even inspiring too. The Craft Section, The clothing sections, all so meticulously arranged and everything i saw was remarkably affordable at today's costs.

The manger really needs to do something about some of the workers. The lady at the self checkout on Thursday 19/09/2024 was completely rude and had a dirty look on her face. And she's not the only one that's been like that while shopping here.

Rude as rude as rude can be! Placed online order for pick up before 12pm. Sent husband at 11.45am to collect who was told they hadn’t yet picked the order nor been notified of the order (by the rude lady at the service desk) He went to the shelves to look for item which had a sign saying “Ask one of our friendly staff for this product” !!??? Where are the friendly staff?? Seriously Big W you need to give your staff a talking to!! You know the signs everywhere saying “employees deserve to be treated with respect?” Well customers need to be treated with respect too!!

Good Big W. Has all the things. The staff definitely don't go out of their way to check with someone looking completely lost (me) and they stride very purposely past you without eye contact so you don't really have a chance to say I need help without body slamming them. Otherwise it's clean and good range.

One of my favorite go-to stores when I need some new home appliances, sheets or other things for say a party that I'm planning. They also have good prices on their video games. Generally, I find their prices are more competitive than shopping at EB games. I was sad that they closed down their plant section as it was one of my favorite things to go and browse when I visited Big w.

Has most things I need. Never has enough computer ink.

Made a click and collect order and literally none of it except one bath product was available despite the website saying it was. Sick of having this issue in Sunbury. Don’t list things as available as not I can’t afford to keep paying for things and waiting days for large refunds

Ohhh the staff are so rude, I had a price issue and both of the older ladies at self check out were extremely rude such a turn off Plus side the young girl at check out was lovely.

Made me wait two and a half hours for a click and collect order just to cancel it due to their own incompetence.

A (dark skin)security guard stopped us the exit and asked us that we'd paid for the shopping yet. The alarm was not on, what made he thought I were the thief (in front of my children)? 5pm,,28/12/23

I am actually really disappointed in the customer service Big W provided for faulty items. No one keeps receipts for bras but I will be now. My daughter purchased a sports bra I would say 3 weeks ago and the underwire has already come out. I definitely wasn't after a refund just a swap over. You can tell by the tag it's barely been warn you can tell it comes from BigW. All I got was no receipt no refund or exchange. I'm like your product is faulty I shouldn't have to provide a receipt as it's a Big W branded item. They are telling me you could have brought it on Ebay like omg what the actual!!!!!! Worked retail many years never have I come across such awful return policies. They are lucky this wire didn't come out and do some serious damage and then what would they have done and not done. To all women, do not buy bras at Big W and if you do because lets face it they are cheap. Keep your receipt because they are cheap and nasty and wires will break. I will never buy from Big W again Maybe you all need to think about your faulty item returns policy. Keeping customers happy stops bad reviews.

The staff at the entrance stopped me from returning chocolate by saying food can't be returned, until I pulled up the refund policy to prove them wrong and got my refund back at the service desk.

Such a well organised and signed shop...over head signs make it so easy to go where you need to be....good product range...the staff were very friendly...good parking, under cover...wheelchair parking at front door...good experience...👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve been picking up parcels in Big w Sunbury even when lay-bys were around, since it opened. The woman Mary on the back service pick up desk is very rude, very direct talks to me like I know nothing and I’m stupid. This is the third time !!! The man behind me shook his head. I was trying to talk with her she looks down at her scanner not noticing mumbles as walking away. I have my licence on the counter I always have my LICENCE ready to pick up online orders and I think she hates her job or customers. Just treat people like they are customers not sheep or animals or nobody’s. I am not picking up order’s again unless she is not there. Thanks.

Found what I wanted easily, great price quick in and out with friendly staff at registers

4.00pm Monday 22.04.24. The Lady at the check ot had the worst attitude ever. She requires training or given the sack. Terrible attitude.

It's not to bad they don't have a lot or out door stuff like the used to It's a pretty small Big w unfortunately.

It's a Big W. The last time I was in a Big W was in 2011 in Darwin. Nothing's changed.

Friendly staff very helpful and a clean store

Very tidy store, the staff are very friendly. I love going to Big W there is always a bargìn to be had.

The lady with the short grey hair working at self-serve at 11:30 am on February 23, 2024, Is the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. She did not smile. She did not speak. She rolled her eyes and ignored any type of customer service. She made customers feel horrible for shopping there and left me feeling really shaken. I think this person needs to seriously look at if they are in the right role or some professional development.

Unfortunately very understaffed, half my items had no code , no staff on till had to use self checkout as item’s could not scan had to wait for assistance, only one person was available and she was running back and forth trying to service multiple customers, security guard was so wonderful trying to help me , after the fifth time of machine failure I gave up and left my purchase behind and went to Target, I would definitely recommend that you invest in feet on ground have staff that can assist and help

For a smaller town, it's a pretty good big W. Clean and friendly and the staff are nice. I've seen it pretty chaotic at times but it seems to do pretty well

The lady at the back service desk was absolutely horrendous. What a shocking liability to have at your business. After reading other reviews saying the same about that lady, I am not surprised.

The lady working the service desk has probably never smiled a day in her life! From the moment I approached the desk with my warranty she gave me a filthy look, was rude, abrupt and very passive aggressive! Unfortunately I couldn't obtain my refund as it was purchased as a gift on my mother in law's card. I was a little upset as I'd had a conversation with the online service prior to coming into store where I had explained everything and they had said I could return it no issues. Sunbury is my closest store to which I live a hours drive from. She had zero interest in reading that conversation on my phone and not ONCE not even ONCE did she apologise to me which absolutely infuriated me! She was honestly just in her element power tripping all over the place! I'd love to know who interviewed this lady for her job and thought WOW she'd be great in customer service! Here's a tip if you read this! It's better to be polite compassionate and understanding to diffuse a situation so everyone walks away calm and happy because I'm sure it pissed your day off as much as it did mine. Unless of course you enjoy being miserable which I think you might! From reading the reviews seems like I'm not only person she's upset.

They always have the items I am looking for

I am still shaking from the awful experience I had at this big W, I frequently shop here. Never usually have to make returns. Today I made a return and had the rudest worker serve me. I already witnessed how rude she was to the customer in front of me and then proceeded to be the worst customer service experience I've ever had. There was no greeting then she was demanding and had the worst attitude. Had no patience when I worked out which card to put a refund on and made me feel extremely small. I was being scolded which made me fumble around trying to work out how to receive my money back. I felt like a child with someone barking orders at me. At the end of my awful experience with her I politely and shakily said that she should be more polite being in customer service to which she rudely responded 'i could say the same about some customers'. I was in actual disbelief. I then found the customer that also had a terrible experience and together we shared how horrible it was and that we need to speak to the manager to which we did. I get that it's a busy time of year and some people may be going through personal issues. I'm not sure what happened to this particular worker to make her this way but she does not belong in customer service. Honestly don't think I want to go back here again.

I asked my fiancé “oh why did you do that? We haven’t got a bag”, at the self serve checkout. The attendant then decided to involve herself in our interaction and tell me I was a bully and had bad manners, despite my fiancé telling her “what are you talking about?”. Needless to say we were both appalled that a customer service attendant would so readily involve herself in customers conversations and only to insult one of them despite knowing nothing about either of us. Maybe she’s not playing with a full deck as she then proceeded to tell me that the cameras up there were Santa watching. 🙄

For some reason there is an excessive amount of faecel matter and haemoglobin scattered throughout the bathrooms here. Just a warning, encase you have to go. Go somewhere else more hygienic.
