The food here is okay, but the service is terrible. Both the waiter and waitress looked like they didn’t want to be there, barely engaging with customers and keeping a cold attitude the whole time. My cocktail and utensils were practically slammed onto the table with no care at all. On top of that, the food took forever to arrive. If there were more options at the airport, I definitely wouldn’t have chosen this place.

Expensive food for bad quality would not dine here again - drink not bad. Apart from the olive and sardine and calamari sandwich everything including service was a letdown as servers didn’t come to you, rather had to come up even with QR code.

Started a long journey with a nice beer at bar pulpo at the airport. Unfortunately the server dropped a pottle of aioli, splashing all over our clothes and backpack. She wiped it but it left fat stains. This is disappointing when you just start a long trip and get mayo’ed. Manager came over but had nothing to offer but a couple of bottles of water. We declined. Shitty response really. Disappointing. Couple of beers on the house would have kept us in good spirits and not publicise bad customer service.

I cannot mention about the food because I never ate there, though it did look delicious, HOWEVER their coffee is fantastic! (lactose free iced latte no ice) Such friendly customer service. I would highly recommend for those travelling or working in the international terminal!

Guy over there was very rude. I don’t know if they don’t feel like working. They should quit the job. But be polite to costumer & food was also below average

This is to Alfred and Rachel! Thank you for the amazing haggle and drinks, but most importantly making two travellers who missed there flight and spend 800 dollars just to make sure they got to leave Melbourne! They were so lovely, so busy but took the time out to be ale sure we were happy customers and cared, they had empathy with a smile and it’s so greatly appreciated when your struggling over flight mistakes. Not to mention the best drinks of all international terminal :) Thank you both for the amazing service the trip would have been so much harder without your smiles :) I was the man with the blonde partner ordering your menu of drinks as they were delicious not just airport quality better thsbc most bars. You turned my frown upside down Thank you so much I normally don’t review but you guys really put the work in to make me happy :) after a tough time and expensive rebooking l.. thank you!

We ordered one beer and one plate of Patata Bravas. The food was good and the gentleman at the bar making cocktails was friendly and those 2 are the reasons for some positive feedback otherwise we found the rest of the staff quite lazy, didn't seem interested in doing their jobs and quite rude. It took them almost 25 minutes to deliver Patata Bravas after a couple of reminders. The lady also said to my husband when he went to remind her for the second time (because she had clearly forgotten about our order even after the first reminder) that we'll need to wait for 5 minutes otherwise they would refund the money we'd paid which is really rude.

Wow.. you would assume that any venue attached to the wonderful MoVida restaurants would be a cut above (anything else in the airport).. but alas, my chicken schnitzel sandwich was very disappointing.. Cheap, frozen chicken where you can't tell what part of the chicken they've ground up and mashed together, twice as much rocket as slaw (although rocket was not one of the listed ingredients), the whole thing luke warm and overall quite bland.. definitely not worth the $19.78 I paid for it.. Have some pride in your brand MoVida.. or don't bother putting your name to this joint..

THE place I will go for a nice before-take-off lunch or snack in the Melbourne airport. The pan Catalan and the Spanish ham were awesome!

Served by the very friendly venue manager, Alfred, I stopped for a couple drinks, naturally, before an 11am flight and thoroughly enjoyed a little corner booth with a couple outlets to charge my thingamajigs. Tunes were alright. Vibes.

This place has a very attentive venue manager who is a delight to deal with. This place has always been my stop prior to boarding any gate. Love the place.

The airport bar pulpo is a hidden gem for anyone waiting for a flight. I enjoyed a delicious drinks and quick sandwich while relaxing in a cozy corner. The vibe is laid-back, and it’s the perfect spot to recharge before your journey. Definitely a must-try for a quick snack!!

There is little customer service. They forget to bring side dishes and meals come out at different times 10mins. Drinks didn’t come out and had to ask for them

My advice: don't buy your pan au Chocolat here. Sadly, mine was stale :( Next time I will try a breakfast pastry somewhere else.

They really need to learn how to make a good espresso martini, the baileys one was disgusting and sooo bitter. Keep walking and enjoy the bar around the corner…..far better drinks served there.

The food is not worth the price paid. 20 dollars per plate for this? It's not that good, either. The sauce in the pork dish was very overpowering. Seats are uncomfortable.

A very nice place when you wait for your flight. The food is good and remind me some restaurants in Barcelona (even though the ham is not as good as the real Spanish one). The ambiance and the service is very good as well.

The food was fresh, i had the pescado y patatas fritas which was basically fish and chips. Deliclous. The servers are lovely and very accommodating. Do recommend

A welcome sit down before an international flight, with very quick service. However, I have to say, the Machego Sheep's milk cheese with quince paste was the smallest thing I have ever been served in a cafe or restaurant. Doll size, and certainly not big enough to share, at some crazy price I can't quite remember and the online menus are out of date. It does say tapa" as opposed to "tapas" though. The patatas bravas wasn't spicy. The mulled wine was tasty and nicely presented in a sugared glass."

I always head straight to Bar Pulpo at the Melbourne International airport for breakfast when I have a morning flight. It is less crowded and has great ambience. The breakfast choices and coffee are the best with a European vibe. The service is fast and good - Mr. Alfred served me with a big smile the last time I was there.

Wonderful service provided by Alfred, he's also got a lovely smile! Food was amazing, had the tomato salad and a chicken skewer. Perfect before a long flight to Europe.

Served to the same standard as in the CBD . Excellent choice of dishes. Be prepared to be absolutely flailed on price though - good old melbourne airport corp tax!
