I had issues installing a 2tb internal SSD drive. After a 5 minute call to the tech crew giving me details on what to do, I had it all up and running within a couple of hours, after I finally got it formatted. Thanks guys, great work.

There was terrible customer service lately, multiple workers there don’t even seem to care about you and your experience at the store. When we asked for help directing to the returns area, the staff we spoke to didn’t even look up to give us some decent eye contact while speaking. I recently purchased something to replace my wifi at home and it turned out to be not suitable/incompatible with our existing wifi system. We were told there’s no change of mind refund or exchange policy. How is this a change of mind? So according to their new policy, this basically means if you make the simple mistake of buying something that is incompatible or you paid for the wrong thing, then you will be met with no sympathy or solution from their end.

Poor customer service. I come from a tech background and did not appreciate being spoken to like an idiot who knows nothing

The returns is horrendous. never buy from them if you might need to return an item. I know I wont be buying again from them after this latest printer nightmare.

When I bought my monitor from here a few months ago, the cashier did not seem professional but the selection of pc parts here are very good. I recently bought parts for a custom pc and one of the sales reps were very helpful on advice as well. For any of my computer needs I will be shopping here

Not sure what happened to this place over the years... but 1 star based on poor customer service recently. Called in multiple times to request for a quote to fix a screen but either got transfered to another department that doesn't answer or take voicemails. Called the main line again only to be hung up as the bloke recognised my voice. I will NEVER deal with this store ever again.

Terrible. I had placed an order for pickup for a chair at Bundoora. They never did anything they forgot about it. Then they had told me they had placed an order for sunshine. I live 50 minutes away and had done the time to go to the store to pick it up. And they hadn’t of had the order up also. Out of stock and the call with whoever i had been in with gave false information. They couldn’t get it straight 2 times.

Waited 15 minutes in line and there were still 5 people in front of me. Returns should be quick and easy. Ridiculous that we had to wait so long for what is meant to be a quick and easy process.

Worst customer service ever. After spending thousands of dollars in this store for our office, you won’t be getting any more from us. It was so hard to even get a proper response regarding the motherboard booking, which was dropped off here. Don't go here if you don't want a headache. They just transfer the call without fully listening, and it was a back-and-forth between the store and the repair center. Go buy from Amazon instead, with excellent customer service, even though it's a bit more expensive for computer parts. I wish if I could give negative star. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Terrible Customer Service!!!! I’ve been a loyal Centre Com customer, but my recent visit was the worst yet. After waiting over two months for my laptop repair, I was met with a rude and unprofessional staff member who repeatedly swore, making me uncomfortable. Worse, his attitude changed completely when Australian customers entered—polite to them, dismissive to me. This biased treatment is unacceptable. I won’t be shopping here again and hope management ensures fair and professional service for all

Never had an issue with the sunshine store… For the first gaming pc that I bought to the first pc that I built to a faulty GPU that was out of warranty CentreCom has always come in clutch I got my first PC built from here in 2015 it was amazing and had zero issues In 2019 I decided build a 3070 with an i7 and the process of getting the parts was super smooth and easy through centrecom After a few years the GPU fried itself I took it back and the tech at the service desk even tho it was out of warranty looked at it and sent it back to the manufacturer to get it repaired free of charge for me Unfortunately I bought a brand new 4090 with a i9 in 2023 from PLE computers I wish I stuck with centrecom as the pc is now having major issues but at the time centrecom had no 4090 PCs in stock if I can’t get a clear response from PLE I’ll be taking the PC to centrecom to get it repaired I wish I waited for there stock to re fill before buying Also shoutout to the staff there there super knowledgeable and super helpful nothing better than going to a pc store and just talking about gaming and people you can relate to

Centre Com is a SCAM ! We Order a brand new computer on 11/11/2024 . We arranged them to deliver it to our own IT support company so they can transfer the data from the old computer. After a month we are still waiting for the computer. We eventually cancelled the order and requested for a refund as we can no longer afford to wait , our staff need a new computer. Centre Com issued us a ticket 495576 on the 26/11/2024 for the refund of the computer we have paid. Today is the 5th Feb 2025, and after several emails... Guess what ?? we are still waiting for our refund. It is totally unethical the way they conducted their business. Very frustrating !!! We want to take further action to ACCC so we can get our money back. We will Never deal with them again. Is Terrible. Something so simple yet they made it so hard.

Not recommended, heard some stories from students for laptops delivered to schools, stopped working or having issues. I ordered one laptop through school but wrong windows was installed. Looks like they dispatching orders blindly.

I was going to buy a keyboard but they didnt let me open up any of the products. Very disappointing experience 😒

All I needed was a battery for my laptop was not able to even get a price. They asked me for $79 quote. I told them that I live very far. I’m happy to send you the device ID product ID in the processor and any other code that they need if they can just give me a price and how much will cost to install a new battery, they said that they needed $79 for the quote I thought now it is digital age you be able to do it all through email or through over the phone butts and I can come and drop it off but unfortunately not like that

Shame really, the staff working there are great, but the return policy has ruined it for me. Brought monitor arm set for my computer monitors and I opened up the monitor arm set and had a look at the instructions, there was no way it was going to fit my desk, so I didn't open anything and put the instructions back, emailed asking for a refund and I can't refund due to policy even tho I haven't done anything to it? What can I do with it? Nothing. Last time I'll be shopping there sadly due to that reason alone.

Was told the product I was looking for was not compatible with my device. Went elsewhere, same product and it fit perfectly. Train your staff better.

Worst customer service

Horrible customer service. Bought upwards of $2000 worth of pc parts for my custom build and turns out the motherboard pins were bent out of the box. Didn’t realise till I was screwing the final parts in that I had to triple check new products from this store! Tried contacting however I could, messaged their Instagram, called from 3 different numbers and they just put me on hold till they hung up, my last option is reporting them to ACCC in hopes of getting accountability from these people and my problem fixed. Never buying from here again.

Bad returns policy and poor business practices. Unable to return products on Boxing Day, unable to return sealed items with receipts due to change of mind within a 14-day return period. Do not recommend buying gifts from Centrecom

Worst customer service ever. It’s been more than ten days since I first contacted them about a faulty monitor After multiples emails and phone calls nothing has been done, spent around 2.500 with them and received a faulty monitor, never again

Went in a few month ago and had the best costumer service- now living in sunshine I’ll be going back weekly because of 1. How nice they are 2. The amazing gaming deals and 3. There’s always a sick skyline out the front that would obviously draw any cool person in ☺️ 10/10

Did a click and collect order. Zander sorted me out quite quick and was also helpful in recommending me a budget case after I enquired about my needs. Excellent service. Will come back.

The best customer experience I’ve had buying PC parts and monitors. Far better than the likes of JB HiFi. The gentleman who served me was very friendly and knew what he was talking about - which I value a lot.

Extremely disappointed with centre com sunshine I spent nearly $2000 in one visit to only return home with a faulty motherboard which I returned the very next day and was told I would have to pay to repair there faulty motherboard so I purchased a second motherboard and left the original faulty one with them to see what can be done about it and haven’t heard back from them and I have tried calling 6 times to only get disconnected from. They still have my nearly $400 motherboard with no idea what’s going on.

Xander gave me excellent customer service & I couldn't be more thankful, i acquired all the pc parts i wanted with no problems and he even above & beyond and got me a box to transport it all safely and wheeled it out to my car, very happy customer and the PC works amazingly

Great staff.

Had to do a warranty replacement after 13 months for a Steelseries mouse that had a couple of issues. Was handled painlessly. Props to Sean/Shaun C and the warranty team for handling things politely and smoothly.

I ordered a Razer DeathAdder V3 mouse from Centercom on July 22, 2024, but still haven’t received it months later. When I called to ask about it, they claimed it was delivered to an address I didn’t recognize. I told them the address they delivered to was incorrect and that the address I entered doesn’t even exist. Despite this, they offered no solution other than waiting for the mouse to be returned, and they informed me that no refund or replacement would be provided if it wasn’t returned. Additionally, I never received any follow-up contact from them. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and resolution—would give zero stars if possible.

Very bad experience. I paid for them to inspect my computer since it very slow ($110). After waiting for almost 1 month (they told me 5 days). There technical team are not working on weekend. Then they call back asking me to pay more ($199) for service fee and ($120) if i want to install Window. After i got my pc back problem still not fix. Then i test and figure it by myself. Waste money and time

I got quoted $229 to fix a pc over the phone When I got there they wanted $369 I told the manager to listen to the recorded phone call the guy says $229 I played it to 7 people they all said $229 I told the manager I’ll play it to 3 random people in the store (customers) If 2 out of 3 say $229 I should pay $229 If 2 of them say $369 I’ll pay $500 They clearly refused They are scum absolutely scum,

Went to store today 19th October. Got greeted well and I asked for assistance to buy a light lap top. The person showed me the what I had searched then I asked for options. No hope of getting any advice. Waited over 30 minutes and asked other staff. No one bothered. Disappointing to say the least since advice was non existent

I bought a computer once a year and because it started to shut down I went to warranty last month. They told me that they changed the root and ssd and the problem was solved but it did not work. When I sent it back they said that there might be a fault in the usb port and other than that there was no problem. My problem still continues and since the warranty period has expired I guess I will always reset the computer before anything happens. It is really bad service. If you are thinking of buying something think twice.

New Experience: (Oct 2024) Sandeep and Michelle were an outstanding. Thank you for helping me through out a process of purchasing a new gaming handheld. What stood out was your patience and keeping up with my changing decisions down to the last minute. Sandeep you put yourself in the customer’s shoes to truly understand what I wanted to go for weighing out pros and cons. Michelle you were really nice in helping me look at the hardware unit and was so kind to me. Previous Experience: I've been a long time customer since when the store was just a reception. I recently bought a keyboard where I had issue with the trackpad, I dealt with Ian over the phone who understood my problem and kindly organised a replacement I just visited their Sunshine store. I was really pleased with their service today thank you Ian and the crew

I had been ummming and ahhing about getting a new monitor (I'm also looking at getting a new desktop computer soon too) I placed an order for a new LG UltraGear monitor online and click and collect was quick and easy. The price was good and overall, I'm really happy with my experience. Update: 2 weeks ago, I purchased a desktop PC from Centre Com. I was really happy with the service and I'll be back to purchase all my PC needs from Centre Com in the future.

Bought a pc online from the sunshine store. Two days after buying it they offered a $100 discount. So I messaged them and asked them for the discount. The lady I talked to was really nice and ended up refunding me the discount. Great customer service from the online team. The PC I bought is also fantastic and got it at a much better price than I would have at any other PC store. Highly recommend shopping here.

They do not honour their free shipping... Since I lived in Queensland (not rural), they said that they don't offer free shipping.

This is the worst service I have ever used. I paid extra 30 bucks for the 1 day delivery but it took about a week to deliver my package. It is so stupid that they don’t give any announcement that my package is got delayed or something. And they’re taking so much time to reply email. I asked for my shipping fee back since it was much much much longer than I expected but they didn’t do the right work. If you wanna buy some thing on this store, you definitely should use Amazon.

Bought the Glorious Lube Bundle because I was ashamed of how loud and dry my keys were, but now I can be proud of how well lubed and sleek they've become after one session. Have had bad experiences instore and online.. last time had a salesperson put the wrong ssd in with my items. I've emailed them and complaints and had no response. The time before that I was looking to buy a whole pc setup and the sale campaign they ran said come in and ask for a better deal. Then go in thinking I might be able to save a bit more than online only to be told by rude staff that they will not discount anything further.. you have a better experience buying online with these guys because you don't have rude sales people but there not even the cheapest there. Dont shop here!

great place to buy things in pieces from. However the lack of care towards full custom builds has left me with a completely unusable PC and very slack warranty claim response. I have had one staff memeber completely lie to me, the warranty team lost" my email with my evidence and claim in it. The box of boxes I received was more thoughtfully packaged then my now damaged and unused PC tower was."

Been coming to this place since early 2000s. Your gonna have good experiences and bad experiences over the course. Staff are only human, they can make mistakes and/or have bad days, probably safe to say your not 100% perfect in your profession at all times. However overall this is one of the best places to get tech equipment from and knowledgeable staff with genuine interest in the industry. I have bought 3 full pc systems and only one issue which Centrecom happily fixed as was under warranty.

went into store knew what I wanted was ready to buy, walked around store for nearly half an hour couldn't get any assistance walked out with nothing and very disappointed, wasted my time, they have heaps of great products but no help.

Bad warranty service. Poorly handled item send back for warranty. Misplaced original box and all the content inside the box and blamed the manufacturer for not sending back to them even thought they only send the product to the manufacturer without the original box. After few days they located my original box and it was damaged under their care.

Went to buy a new laptop. First-time customer. This place runs rings around other I.T. retailers. The knowledgeable staff and good service were a welcome relief. They didn't mess me about, and I was able to get the product I wanted in the budget I had set. I won't be going anywhere in future. Highly recommend Centre Com in Sunshine.

I had issues with my USB WI FI. I went to CentreCom looking for a plugin to my desktop. Not knowing much about computers, I was approach by Sandeep and recommended a product and explained how simple it was to fit. He also looked at my computer specs which was old and even provided his recommendations on what to upgrade next in a few years. He gave me his undivided attention! Great service. Anyone who is clueless, I recommend Sandeep.

Please buy your products from elsewhere because these guys (CentreCom) they do not value customers. Horrible customer service and support. I gave my speakers for repair which were under warranty and it has been a month now that these guys are still working on them and there warranty assessment team is really stupid and inexperienced. Just stay away from these guys because you never know when your product stops working and if it's under warranty from centrecom they will not help you and keep delaying the repair process. I am so frustrated with these guys that's why I am writing this review to alert all of you and potential buyers. They may have some good deals on products but please dont buy it from them to save yourself going through some hard time. Zero stars, zero customer service and support and when you write them emails they never respond and you literally have to call them to get a reply and then they will say we will communicate over email but these guys never reply.
