Great steak and the Moroccan Maryland chicken was so juicy.

Came here the other night with my partner. There was a barman by the name of Anthony who was such a sleaze. Was trying to come on to a lot of female customers. Won't be going back. I have never felt so uncomfortable.

Excellent spot! Great pub, quiet clean large comfy rooms! Food is great! Superb service all round. Big thanks to Nuri in particular! Coming back next year!

Would definitely stay again.

Good atmosphere and great food.

Terrible customer service

We went to the pub for lunch (in Hobart on the Queen Elizabeth so didn't stay at the hotel). The location and ambience is fantastic and I had been here in the evening on a previous stay in Hobart. Unfortunately the wait for food was unacceptable at close to 1 hour and that was after chasing up our order 3 times. The bar staff are friendly and the fish tacos had a lovely flavour, but because the sauce was a plenty, they were very messy to eat (don't order these on a first date)! I've had better food in Hobart and our party of 6 all agreed. We will eat elsewhere on our next visit....

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location & breakfast was fine. Plenty of space in room

Old style pub with very good counter meals. The crayfish is excellent and good value. Bistro has restaurants style seating. The bar has windows seating and nice views down to the harbour.

Great room, nice room and quiet. Good steak in the restaurant. Nice brekky. Helpful staff.

Great place to stay. Very central, very clean/well maintained, spacious rooms, historic and great views of the harbour. Depending on room might get a little noise from the bar downstairs. We had a fantastic weekend here and really enjoyed the breakfast.

Quirky little old hotel above a pub overlooking the bay with beautiful views, perfect location for quick access to the piers, Salamanca markets and surrounding area all within comfortable walking distance.

Excellent location one of the best in Hobart! Comfortable rooms with

Great location 👌 Meals are tasty and good value .

Obviously a local pub for locals. Not very friendly (the locals) . High expectations after all I've heard. But the bar staff get 4 stars 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟

I did like this place however the drinks and especially wine is very expensive.

Seriously the best chef in Tasmania

Still awesome

We came here last time we were in town and so this time I was very worried that it wouldn't fulfil our expectations... but I'm SOOO glad it did! They have the best Tassie cidar on tap and the atmosphere is fabulous, right in the heart of the constitution dock area! The food was delicious and the service great! Can't wait to be back! Only thing this time was the toilets needed some attention, so I let the staff know and they were right on to it!

Great location for the Hobart waterfront

Just finished staying there for 8 days with my wife celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and all I can say is I highly recommend this place, from the breakfast which is included in the price, the friendly staff, great priced restaurant with delicious meals and the fact it's just across the road from all the tour pick up places you don't even need to hire a car, saving you lots of dollars.Lots to do with walking guided and self guided tours and of course Salamanca markets.Rooms were comfortable and serviced daily. It was so hard heading back to Queensland as you fall in love with the area and having a few afternoon drinks outside enjoying watching the world go by.Thankyou to all that looked after us on our stay and we will be back.

Great hotel in busy CBD bar and restaurant downstairs if you like quieter sots then this is not the hotel for you . |Breakfast was superb and staff were very helpful|Happy hour in the bar was 4pm till 6pm|Room had fridge air con decent shower and room was made up every day

Superbly located hotel with really friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and clean overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was first class and I would thoroughly recommend the place.||The only two negative points I would mention (both of which are as a result of the hotel's central location) are parking, they have just 7 spaces across the street and we were lucky to get the last one and - as the hotel is located right on the working waterfront - noise starts at around 5:30am.||If you can live with these two points then you won't be disappointed.

When we arrived we were told there maybe a little noise tonight but as we were in a quiet room there should be no problem. The music stopped yaround midnight and the Doof Doof stopped around 3:37 am. Never again. We should have been warned when we booked. Unacceptable. Zzzzz

Food is above Pub grade & priced to match. Good experience & would go back.

Great main courses. Good portions and tasty. The pasta was as as linguini but it was rigatoni that came but the sauce was nice and garlicky. Loved it. Good salmon and vegetables. Dessert was a great disappointment. Cheesecake was very jelly like and like a hard mousse. The crumble had too much coconut on it and way too sweet. Great waitress service. Very attentive. They do coffees and hot chocolate if you don’t want alcohol.

Charming hotel on the waterfront in the heart of town. Room was big with modern amenities and had a new bathroom. Everything looked clean and tidy.

Great spot and food...thanks again

Fantastic pub. A must visit when in Hobart.

Rooms were spotless, staff were awesome, breakfast was delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to stay here.

Good food

Great clean rooms good location

Great stay. Little noisy early in evening as rooms are above the main bar... But very well appointed and warm.

Loved our stay here. Very clean. Some lovely staff. Ideally located on waterfront. Tasty food in restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Great service, clean rooms and good food

Great place to stay.Great food and service

Parking was about 500m away . And have had better room for less price

Nice friendly staff and had my first scooner

A nice place for lunch

Great location and experience in this heritage hotel. Rooms are small and quaint but clean neat and well maintained. The building and adjoining restaurant are just wonderful; the dining room in particular was terrific and meals first class.|Loved it.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Comfortable rooms and great service- staff were exceptional . Food was fantastic, both for the provided breakfasts and dinners. Parking across the road was convenient for day trips, though did a lot of walking as the hotel was central to everything.

Nice food , friendly staff, great old building

The food was delicious, the staff I so friendly.

Enjoyed two fantastic meals of peppered squid and Market Fish Snapper. Great Prosecco, too, and the waiter & manager helped us pick a glass of something else when it ran out! extremely happy we stopped into Customs House tonight in a whim, will definitely return when we next visit Hobart from the mainland!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the CBD. Runners will love the nearby tracks starting right outside the hotel.||The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The beds were comfortable and cozy. Parking is convenient for those with a car.||The highlight was the breakfast, offering a variety of great options.

Lovely stay at Customs Hiuse Hotel for 2 nights. The front of staff where excellent and the room was stunning.

Room very clean and quiet. Slight bar noise Friday and Saturday nights, but not disruptive. Location excellent for a number of activities and eateries. Would recommend and would stay there again without hesitation.

Every single staff member was fantastic. Thank you to them going out of their way to look after us. ||The breakfasts are yum and a wonderful inclusion. ||The location is amazing, and having your own pub on site is great fun. ||Only wish the rooms had more pictures/hangings on the walls (they are a bit bare) and that there were more gluten free options in the restaurant. ||Will definitely go back.

Good range of beers and food.

Great location, big room. The complementary breakfast was a la carte. Yum! Highly recommend

Great location, also great restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff

Great place for a relaxing meal or special event.

Great staff, welcoming environment, and awesome food.

A wonderful, small, boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms, a very comfortable bed; friendly and helpful staff. A very welcoming and local feel throughout. Location is great. The ferry to MONA, other ferries, the Salamanca Markets, restaurants and bars are all across the street. Terrific views across the harbour front from many of the rooms and always from the delightful bar. The restaurant is good, and the breakfasts are just great. Highly recommend; will definitely stay here when in Hobart.

The location was perfect! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. The beds need an upgrade. They were lumpy and not terribly comfortable.

Not a pub for me. Gets too crowed in a small place. When having an artist on it is impossible to have a conversation with someone standing next to you. Noisy crammed pub

Fantastic spot close to a number of excellent experiences (Salamanca Market, boat ride to Mona) and great restaurants. Morning breakfast was included with our stay and was delicious every time. Staff is very friendly and helpful This was our second time staying here and we would come again

Definitely recommend staying here. We were late to check in but they rang us to let us know that the bar man would wait for us to check us in. Service was great, everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were included in our price and were fantastic. Yummy eggs Benedict and good coffee. Very good value for money and excellent location. Walking distance to dock and Salamanca markets. We had a few stairs to room 23 but there is a lift so no problem for us. Only negative was the low tap over hand basin in our bathroom. Bad design choice but only very minor complaint.

Bloody Amazing... We went looking for a nice dinner and popped in to ask to look at the menu. A lovely young lady was very helpful. We saw the menu and decided to have dinner here. Helen decided to have pork belly, and me being a seafood lover, decided on the full crayfish. AMAZING!!! And serving size was unbelievable. 100% Recommended. The food was spectacular, the service fast and friendly, and value for money was unmatched. This place feels like an undiscovered gem. Check it out at your first opportunity.

I am only dining there for dinner. The seafood paella is too much on the salty side. Fish of the day is good and delicious.

Great pub. Great atmosphere overlooking the harbour. Lovely dining room, service, and food.

Good atmosphere

Great place to stay within walking distance to everything

Great location within walking distance of Salamanca and the CBD and beyond Full cooked breakfast is included with the rooms and a wonderful start for a day of exploring Hobart Waterfront rooms have views across to Franklin and Brooke St Piers Competitive pricing too Front of house staff - so helpful and friendly

We stayed here our last two nights in Hobart in a family room. This was very close to Salamanca markets and waterfront area. Breakfast was included in price and good value. The room was clean and spacious and we had a great view of the water. We did have to pay for parking across the road which we already knew before booking but it was worth paying to park there in a secure area.
