Such a great space to play games. Played there at a board games and event played some unpublished board games by Melbourne board games designers (Melbourne Incubator)

What a fantastic space! I was here for a work board game night and we had a wonderful time. There are plenty of games to choose from, heaps of space and seating, the staff are lovely, plus there are snacks and drinks (and coffee!) so you have everything you need to settle in and enjoy hours of fun. I am told there are also all sorts of events and smaller weekly gatherings (games, painting, book club etc.) so it’s a great space to bring your friends or meet new ones. I really highly recommend giving this place a visit 🥰

I visited here for the first time here yesterday. Amazing location. Excellent tables and terrain, staff were terrific and everything is well priced. Will definitely be back.

Just an awesome place to have a game and catch up with friends. I go here regularly to play Warhammer 40K with mates. Drinks are good price, helpful and friendly service, and they will bring any orders you make over to your table. Definitely a worth while visit.

Great gaming space, limited hobby supplies. Awesome bar with table service. Event days in summer can be tricky, the air con just simply can't keep up with 100 bodies in the room, but then I wouldn't expect it to either. Definitely what the gaming community needed.

Awesome venue, great staff with genuine care to help you find the right gaming things you need and they are fostering an awesome community with their events. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I honestly cannot recommend Gaming Arena enough, it feels like they have a small warehouse just full of Miniature wargaming tables and what would be an otherwise normal size store for anyone else is just full of tables to play any kind of game you want. Beyond that though, and more important for someone new to TCGs like me - the staff are so friendly and welcoming in a way that fosters a community that reflects just the same. Always worth the trip and more people need to know.

Excellent gaming space and good range of paints and tabletop supplies. Very friendly and helpful, plus there's a great selection of snacks and drinks for a reasonable price. Everything you want from a tabletop gaming venue!

I really love this venue. It's enormous and there's space for everyone and everything, with good facilities. The staff are great. Highly recommended.

I've been nerding for quite some time and last weekend we had ran an RPG for a friends 50th Birthday here. The set-up that The Gaming Arena has is incredible. Loads of permanent gaming tables set up for wargaming. Multiple tables to sit down and paint miniatures at (which had at least half a dozen people using them). They had a decent-sized group playing a CCG tournament in the front area. Handicap accessible facilities. Super clean toilets. Quite good coffee and plenty of snacks are available at a licensed bar. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. And their RPG room fit the 14 of us nicely. My only personal gripe is I live in Geelong and Coburg is a bit of a drive for me, but the drive was worth it.

Massive space with really nice gaming tables. Very generous with supplying mats and terrain, etc. Melbourne's best FLGS now probably.

Coburg Boardgamers hosted an event here. The venue were super accommodating in the lead up and on the day. Pride flags on the wall, which is amazing. Lots of space, a well stocked drinks fridge and bar and the war game tables are cool!

Huge place, tons of stock, more than 50 gaming tables for your miniature games, cards, snacks, coffee...super friendly staff. It has everything.

Nice place to sit around play some boardgames or if you are into warhammer / war gaming then this is the place for that. Friendly staff + bar is also great!

Great setup for wargaming. Not a huge amount of stock but store is still new so I expect this to improve, but from a gaming perspective it's the best location in Melbourne

The staff here are fantastic, the spaces are huge, and the service is wonderful. Full wheelchair access is a massive plus. My group is hosting our Deathwatch RPG campaign here and it's been a joy. I'm really looking forward to seeing this place grow into THE place to be for Warhammer events in the future.
