The Timezone itself is great, huge range of games and the biggest in Australia which is really cool. However, the staff ruin the experience, the staff we dealt with were rude and dismissive and didn’t seem like they cared about helping (eg re-crediting games that had taken our money and did not give us any plays - defective games,) or making the experience any better in general (eg customer service, they seemed like they didn’t want to be there.) My partner and I enjoy Timezone and playing here, and we have been to many in Australia. Surfers Paradise is definitely great in terms of the games they offer; however their staff severely let it down, which is unfortunate.

Came here with family, great buzz and a variety of awesome games to play individually against someone or in teams. The aircon helps too with the surfers paradise heat. Staff are really nice and helpful when choosing the right package to purchase

Visited the other day and Sara was so lovely to us, her customer service was stellar and she made us amazing cocktails!! 😀

It was okay. Too many kids and it was overcrowded. Some were just sitting on the games and not playing. Others were running around and bumping into you. Some of the machines worked, and some didn't.

Loved it- very big and great for kids. It was huge!

Some of the machines take a while to register your scanned card but overall pretty good. The claw machines are a bit of hit or miss with what's in them at the time. Have also noticed some of the games being sped up and/or points rewarded lessened which is a bit of a disappointment.

Timezone never disappoints. This arcade is huge. There's so much variety and games for every age. There's a huge area dedicated to prize selection also where you are able to walk through and select things at your own leisure. Both kids and adults will have a blast here!

Great Place for a few hours out with the kids. The food there is great and far better then what we were expecting, the OG burger is the best burger on the Gold Coast. be back again soon.

2nd time trying the food at Time Zone in Surfers. Both times the food were awful. We normally go to Robina time zone and I can say their food are amazing so thought it’d be the same here. We first ate here a month ago. I ordered a hot dog. It was obviously straight out of the microwave and still managed to be over done that the bread went hard and chewy. Today I thought I’d try their cheese nachos and this time (still straight from the microwave) the chips were cold and not much there in terms of toppings. The worst hot dog and nachos I’ve had anywhere and not cheap either. To add to this, I asked for a fork and the girl (who did seemed lovely but obviously not trained in food safety) went to get one for me and as she’s walking towards me, I can see her trying to wipe something off the fork that’s obviously not quite clean with her hands then she handed it to me. How can this store be so bad with their food department. Am never doing a bday party for my little one here. We’ve had food at the Garden city in Brisbane and that was 5 stars and we couldn’t stop raving about how good their food was and Robina time zone, the food there is also constantly really good. I’m guessing they’re owned by different people.

Went in on Saturday and went to the cafe for coffee. Bess was brilliant and made me an amazing cappuccino and was all round fun and enthusiastic with the kids. We came down to Gold Coast for the holidays and this was a big step up from our local time zone.

Somie at the counter was so kind and patient and went to the stock room just to get fairy floss for the cards points and my son was so so happy!!! She has a wonderful customer service skill! Thank you

I won a $100 headset and it didn’t slide down, on lookers saw me win this prize I really wanted and they still didn’t give me the headset, I tried everything but refused and only gave me 3 games, I couldn’t see footage and have proof I didn’t win, such unhonest staff and company

Best Timezone around

TimeZone at Surfers was a great experience! The wide range of games kept us entertained, though we spent some time walking around to choose what to play. Surprisingly, $60 gave us 1.5 hours of fun, which felt like good value. A couple of games had calibration issues or were under repair, but overall, it didn’t impact the experience too much. Definitely worth a visit!

Timezone is a great place with a fun atmosphere. They regularly update their arcade machines, keeping things fresh and exciting. It’s perfect for hanging out with friends or family and enjoying the latest games. Definitely worth visiting for a fun experience.

Good place to take the kids, they will love it but very expensive. They have a deal ( January 2025) if you get $60 worth they give you an extra $30 or for $90 you get an extra $50. I had three kids and it goes very fast as very tap ( you get a card) is $2.50 plus . Kat😁

Loved this place heaps of machines and plenty to do!! Make sure you play the monopoly game. We won heaps of tickets on it! Enjoy

Took my 2 granddaughters here with their ma, played some games, but found some just didn't want to work and had to get refunds back. Will come back again, clean, tidy and would definitely recommend this place for a fun day for families.

Definitely the biggest timezone around Brisbane and Gold Coast area! Kids had a blast while the adults had to take a break after 30 mins. 😆 I recommend that you sign up on the app to get deals. We always wait for double credit deal to charge up.

Huge Timezone with a large variety of games etc. My iced caramel coffee was delicious, however staff let this place down with their lackluster attitude.

This timezone is huge! Can spend hours here with the kids, if the wallet permits 🤣

Lots of games. Food was freah and yum. Bowling alley for kids using tinezone card. Dodgem cars, 12 hole glow putt putt golf. Nice and clean.

Kids Young and old love this place

While it's still a modern arcade, focusing more on tickets then anything else, the amount of actual arcades, especially rhythm games like Taiko no Tatsujin or Dance Dance Revolution, is much bigger than the other Timezones. Probably your best bet for modern arcades!

My 10 year old son loved it. Prices were fair and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

I never knew there was a Timezone so huge. No games out of service for down for maintenance. Bar area was great and the atmosphere was memorable. Will definitely be going back when we next visit. The kids had the best time. Great value for money with their deals.

Amazing place

Half the games took money off my card and didn’t work lost about $20, they gave me a refund onto the card of $5 and than that than didn’t work either so I just gave up lol

Lively market and evening walks

We recently hosted our son’s birthday party at Timezone Surfers Paradise and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were given a private room for the entire duration, which was perfect for gathering at the start and storing gifts. The room was decorated with giant game controller balloons, along with green and red balloons, adding a subtle Xmas theme. Our host, Julia, was amazing—friendly, helpful, and in control. She managed all the children, clearly explaining the schedule and telling them to let her know if they needed anything. We added Laser Tag as part of the celebrations, and Julia made sure everything ran smoothly, guiding the kids through the rules and ensuring they had a blast. Overall, the party was perfect - 5 stars!

Best arcade I have ever been to in my life, great prizes, I love gaming out with my mates there it’s so fun and the games just amazing and perfect. I especially love the things line mini golf, laser tag and bumper carts it’s just so fun!!!!

Great arcade! Lots of fun! Highly recommended. Played the coin tower game, made a pretty big tower and toppled it. Good fun!
