Great time celebrating 🍾 Chinese New Year at the racecourse.
Attended for a meeting nice facilities and function centre.
Love the Valley, great horse racing. Sensational venue
Was a free entry day, but would pay for the experience. Always a great day between Xmas and New Year.
Went for New Year’s Eve 2024. Below average at best. The food was all cheap style food. Mostly seafood which if you don’t enjoy seafood is a letdown. No regular chicken or beef dishes. The pasta was absolutely terrible. Drinks not included in the price either - not even soft drinks. The dessert was horrific. Everything was pre bought and tasting terrible. The worst was that they advertised a “pistachio eclair” which was quite literally a store bought biscuit with fake raspberry jam filling and dipped in pistachio rock hard. The live music was slow and boring for the most part. Right at new years when everyone went to the balcony to enjoy the fireworks the venue decided this was an appropriate time to turn on the sprinkler system and get everyone wet. For $120 a head it was a huge waste of money and insanely overpriced.
Lacklustre food, worse service, extremely overpriced
We had our Girls gathering at the Valley on Friday the 13th in the Jockey Club. We all had a wonderful time the food and service was fantastic and a big thankyou to Rhonda who really looked after us. We will definitely be back, thx again from all of us.
As an owner went back after our race to the owners room. Sorry but the food was disgusting. Shepherd pie but forgot the potato and a macaroine that was dog food at best. Time to go back to supporting owners who contribute so much to the industry
Huge function centre.
The hall, which has the Rowville College Graduation, is very warm. There is no air-conditioner and people are feeling sick with the heat. Absolutely ridiculous
Great place for racing, atmosphere electric
Spectacular experience
Great morning lovely breakfast Great staff 😀
Great atmosphere on friday nights!
Nice place , great service. Will be back again
Great atmosphere coming back again x5
Nice to know your racing wemon
man im so hungry
Very bad experience. I do not recommend dealing with this center. They always differ on the appointment and the waiting time is very long. The reception staff are not efficient in their work. I will give them zero out of ten.
Picked up my son from his school prom. However he said the food was ordinary.
Great place to watch the races. Multiple areas for food and drinks. Good parking. Even better if your horse wins!
Atended for function. Facility very nice plent of car park inside.
Here today for a conference and had never been as I'm not into horse-racing! However venue was ok. Easy to get around and yes the course looked beautiful. Lots of racing view rooms and was in Kingston Town room, Phar Lap room and main conference area. However main conference area was full and room was so hot! Very uncomfortable.
I wasn't here for racing, but it was for an indoor market. It's a great space for many different functions
I am not into horse races and can judge only the company event that was held here. All was clean and appeared well organised, plenty of friendly staff ensured we were well served
Very run down.
Great place, so close to the action 😃
Fantastic facility and brilliant hospitality
The place is run down and needs a facelift
what a great car show
Great race club
Imperatriz loves the valley
Great place for day or night races. Plenty of entertainment. Lots of different seating areas to chose from
Best race track in Victoria. Whether you are a Member, Owner or Public. You are so close to the action.
Picked up passengers
Great venue .
C'mon it's the Valley
Beautiful ambience and great service 🙂

Cox Plate 2023
What a cool place! Enjoyed the races and the views of the city from the stands. Kids get in free too.
Excellent night at the races, well run track.
A great day for champions, horses, trainers and jockeys. Good to see everyone went to the trouble of dressing up and making it a classy day. Food choices are a bit limited. Prices are reasonable. Toilets (mens) were crowed and messy, with lots of discarded bottles, cans and other rubbish, as the bin was overflowing.
All good, great racing venue.
Needs more elevators for disabled visitors. In the future, travellators would be a great installation.
Won’t be back. Members Dining room -the bathroom facilities were so basic I actually felt like I was at a local footy club, the seafood and starters were below standard. Prawns were inedible… like someone had forgotten to defrost them so submerged in tap water for an extended period of time… watery and soggy on the cut end - NASTY! Oysters muscles worse than supermarket grade. The olives on offer were tiny and tasted terrible again below supermarket grade. The main chicken was dry and mushy peas felt like I was at a nursing home, thankfully the desert table was wonderful 10/10 for desert. Those with children:- the face painting was disturbing, the lady was quite rude to some children in front of us and I was disgusted when she had finished my four year old who asked for a rainbow unicorn and what she painted was a unicorn and unicorn poo. We didn’t tell my daughter what it was, we just washed it off with a wipe immediately and told her the lady did a could and it was a mistake, my daughter had seen a rainbow across the track earlier so was so looking forward to a rainbow face paint, my daughter was dressed immaculately and the face painters interaction with her was non existent she didn’t smile, didn’t even say hello, …. Seems like she had a bad attitude to children who were well dressed as the ones before us who were well dressed copped attitude too. There was also a man with her in workman style clothing taking photos and video calls to friend and filming the children…it felt a little creepy and I wasn’t impressed when he came up and started taking photos of my four year old! The face painting was so basic two colours - nothing like the rainbow unicorn she had pictured in her cards or what my daughter asked for and expected. There was a pony advertised - that was a joke too it was behind a fence when we were there and then dragged around by a young boy and grumpy looking lady. Children were looking over the fence at were completely ignored by the lady…. so not sure what the point of that was! My daughter was disappointed as she was looking forward to seeing the pony. Thankfully a kind strapper in another stall untied her horse and let some children and my daughter have a pat!! Those with young children or asthma also be aware there is no designated smoking areas, it’s a free for all so everywhere you walk there is SMOKE. Most staff were pleasant to talk to but there were a number older ones that seemed grumpy and unpleasant. 2/10 we travel to interstate city and country meets and this is by far the worst experience. Wouldn’t recommend for families and I won’t be going back there anytime soon.
It is hopeless. As a owner with members tickets you get to track early and have to park up near the 400 metre mark. Once inside the grandstand is pathetic, outdated, old and smells. Only 1beer on tap so if you hate Carlton draught your done. Food is retirement home standard and prices are way to high for lack of quality. If there was one positive at least the track played fair - FOR A CHANGE! This club has gone backwards big time and needs a URGENT change in the PEOPLE running the place. First time I've been to valley in 18 months WONT BE GOING BACK not even when I have a runner!
Great venue that can accommodate a large crowd. Over 450 guests. Staff so kind and friendly. Great food and table service.
Nice place loved the experience
