Supposed to open at 2pm. Arrived 2.15, could hear loud music. Kept knocking. Grumpy woman answered and said we knocked too loud. We explained that we have often encountered the same problem ie place not being open at opening times. She then refused to serve us. Said she was too busy cleaning. I hope the management acts on this.

Would give this place more stars if I could; some random drunk man was harassing my partner and I; management/staff quickly removed the whole group from the venue and provided us with a free drink- clearly the big group staying would of increased their profit margin but they chose to do the right thing by their patrons. Very very appreciated!

Place is rubish, they take you ID which is against the law and everyone knows that, no matter how old is this method, it is wrong

Friendly staff, fair rates and heaps of fun with friends or colleagues! It's my goto place of needing a fun activity in the city. Make sure you bring coins for the darts though!

Ken was an amazing bloke who could strike conversations easily even if you’re alone at Pulo…He makes sure you are comfortable and never fails to strike a conversation. Such an amazing person, and I will come again just for Ken.

Great vibe at Pulo Pool Parlour! The tables were well-maintained, and the drinks were solid. Perfect spot for a laid-back night with friends. Whether you're playing seriously or just having fun, it’s a cool place to chill and enjoy a few rounds.

BB is the BEST bar tender and venue manager. We had a bucks here and she made all the difference!!!

Very illegal practices. This place forces you to pay $5 each plus a drink just to walk in to book a table. Then you pay per $18 per hour to play pool and if you go over they charge you for another hour even though you did not use the full extra minutes that you played. This place has not clocks so you dont know if your are going over your time limit.Plus including a 10% surcharge on seperate transactions!!!!!!!! But what make it really illegal is that they take your ID!!!!!! They don't tell you why they physically take your whole ID!!! Very very illegal. I am very scared they have done something to my identity. Do not go.

I had a fantastic experience at Pulo pool parlour thanks to the exceptional bartender, Bb. From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming and attentive, ensuring my glass was never empty and my questions about the menu were answered with expertise. Her cocktail recommendations were spot-on, and she made each drink with precision and flair.

Best American pool tables in Melbourne. Kept in good condition (inc decent cues for a public place), good temperature, music is usually a vibe, good drinks selection and nice staff. They also have a couple of English pool tables if you prefer this to blue baize. They have dart boards too. Spent many a chill afternoon here. Highly recommend!

I was there last weekend, i had a great time! The staff so nice and friendly, one of bartender her name is Joey, shes awesome!!10/10!!!!

The building was evacuated due to a fire alarm. The workers on cleared our table after we were evacuated and would not less us finish our game and we were not compensated for the drinks we had to leave behind and had to pay in full for the time we spent at the table.

Bought the express pool package which was $69 for 90 minutes of pool and 4 drinks which was pretty good. $34.50 each for 2 drinks and able to squeeze 5 games in. Great service and nice chill vibe. Went on a Tuesday night 6pm so pretty quiet and enjoyable. Always got served immediately at the bar and drinks were fairly priced. Overall had a great time and will be back. Definitely recommend!!!

So disappointed I go there all the time this time I didn't take my wallet which had my I. D in it so I was refused for play a game of pool because I had no id at 2pm in the afternoon. What a joke

Good pool tables some variety..our table run true and if you played a bad shot you knew about it..heaps of TV's on where you play so was watching football and playing pool beers nice and cold service really good .great with a couple off mates.will go back again when I town..if you like pool I recommend this place.

Well kept pool room with very good equipment, great music and reasonable pricing. Table lights were not the best but, were satisfactory. Very nice experience. I really recommend this pool room if you are in Melbourne.

Great place for a few games and drinks

On my first visit to Pulo Pool Parlour, I was immediately struck by the quirky music and fairy-like lights. It felt like stepping into a storybook. The place oddly reminded me of my childhood in the Philippines. A girl nearby even asked if I was Filipino, as if the atmosphere brought out my accent! Despite having no windows, the view was somehow impressive. I saw two impressive “mountains” and even felt like I was breathing fresh air - quite a feat for a windowless room. The staff’s attitude was definitely memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. They were so off-putting that my friend, who usually brags about his pool skills, couldn’t make a single shot all night. He blamed it on a spat with the staff. Despite these quirks, we ended up having a great time. It felt like we’d received a five-star Chinese Massage treatment by the end of the night. Hats off to Pulo Pool Parlour for such a unique experience!

Walked in on a Friday after work to play pool. Being 2023 we don’t generally carry wallets but they wanted a physical ID to book a table for an hour ($18). Showed her photo of Drivers License but wasn’t good enough. Offered to pay up front for the table so there was no risk of us running off but they still couldn't do it because ‘policy’. Antiquated business model.

A little hidden as an underground basement. 3 interactive darts and lots of pool tables. Good selection of alcoholic drinks and very clean. Pay for how long.

I think there was a change in owner, the place is neat and has a chilled atmosphere. $18/h pool. Basic spirits at $11. Decent spot to burn some time.

Pool tables are nice and well maintained and staff is super friendly.

Spent a fantastic 3 hours here in August 2023 playing UK pool. Could have had more options for food (we ate their stock of chips) and a happy hour. Wish I had known about the hourly fee... that was an unpleasant surprise. Otherwise really fun!!!
