Great little local pub ! Good prices ; Eaten there a few times, good every time but today… tried the Sunday roast.. and come on ! Very very poor!! Don’t understand how you can even sell that tbh. Like I said never been disappointed before with all other choices & Will be back no problem, but not for the roast 🫣

Had been fine. Then they ignore people to serve whoever they want first. Extremely disappointing considering the amount of time spent there. Won't bother again.

We went to checkout it their steak night. Beautifully cooked steak yet the chips were so salty they you could barely eat them. Left disappointed.

Solid pub, decent beer garden and nice staff

The food is consistently good, well priced, and the staff are lovely. Not much of a vibe inside, but clean and spacious.

All in all, there are much better venues in the area to visit for food and drink. Bar prices with surcharges are pretty crazy. Wings being on the menu as a share plate listed as a pound of wings, no where near a pound of wings. Lucky to get 7 chicken wings. Other meals seemed decent sizes. Wait times for food exceeding 1.5 hrs for food. Staff overworked, constantly ran off their feet and flustered.

The place is nice and there is outdoor seating (with a pool table). The staffs are also friendly. Visiting on Thursday for a steak and it’s really good! Paid for $25 and you got Porterhouse steak, chips, salad, and pot of beer/ glass of wine. Will definitely be back.

Beers a bit pricey, doesn't cater to smokers much, outside seating with no ashtrays. Inside is nice though.

Came out all the way to Carlton for Harry Potter trivia and have been looking forward to it for quite some time. The host knew nothing about Harry Potter, said alot of words and names wrong, read out parts of answers as questions before correcting himself, asked questions with lengthy answers without providing adequate time to discuss answers with teammates before moving on, had his beard and lips pushed up on the microphone so his voice was muffled, read out our team name wrong during the night, read out scores during breaks not in order, and during the final reading of where everyone placed, our team was not even mentioned at all, so we never got to know our score. Alot of questions were way too simple and we spent days cramming information and revising. It was a fun night out with the family because we always have fun, but if you're going to host an event with such a big fan-base, it needs to be conducted in such a better manner than it was. Alot of the female bar staff also looked miserable and a hug from the host was offered as a prize which is just weird..

Spent a couple of hours at the pub with Catelin as our main pourer and server. Excellent service, friendly and great to have a chat with. Food was spot on too!

During our week in Melbourne, we stopped in here a few times for either food or a couple of beers. Staff are friendly, food was good.

a simple pub on the corner of Queensberry Street and Swanston Street, Carlton, Melbourne. lively and good vibe and atmosphere inside the restaurant. we came here on a Thursday night for the steak special. $25 steak with chips and gravy, and including a drink. Taste was great. Some parking around on the side streets, the side servings were generous and would recommend to come back. There's an outdoor section.

The weekday specials are incredibly Queens-verry good value for money. Thursdays specials are 300g porterhouse with salad, chips and wine for $25! Steaks are actually cooked to your request with a generous servicing of sides. Parking available on their block from 6.30pm onwards.

We had a family celebration and had it catered with food platters. The choice of foods was fantastic and the quantity was plentiful. I would definatley have a function at the Queensbury Hotel again.

Although I reviewed this place a while back, it's time for a reduction in score. The food over the last few weeks has gotten worse and the prices don't correlate to the quality at all. The staff and atmosphere are nice but to eroded away by the food. The gravy that was received on a schnitzel was like jelly, the parmas where bland and they removed the Aussie. Best to head to another pub that is just within walking distance.

On a walk back to our apartment while on holiday we found this place we tried few burgers and liked it enough to come back the following night. The food that came to our table ,porterhouse steak, BBQ wings, steak sandwich and chicken burger, was the best food we have ever experienced the time and effort in making the food really looked like something you would see posted on a menu and the taste was actually too good to be true. When ever we are in Melbourne from Perth again we will definetly be coming back here they almost don’t charge enough for the quality of food they provide $120 for family of 5 to eat out is very good value. Thankyou so much to that staff for making our experience so great and to the chef’s for cooking the perfect food.

We had a very pleasant lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the serving size was generous. The setting was ideal for a group lunch.

I came here for a trivia night hosted by my university. The bar and hotel atmosphere was very nice. Their hot chips were delicious.

It's a clean place, mostly surrounded by large TVs showing sports. Quite popular.

Amazing, came in for the Wednesday parma special incredibly good value for a massive serving, Kardy was incredible, looked after our group so well and was a delight to deal with.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, great food. Visiting from interstate, stumbled across this place, we enjoyed a tender steak and a delicious schnitty, with a couple drinks. After the meals in the beer garden, we finished the night with a couple games of pool, the outdoor garden was well warm and cosy enough.

Nice staff. Nice beer garden. Nicely priced beers for a inner city pub. Tuesday deal was $15 burger and chips too. Super nice.

Fantastic pub. Very tasty and affordable meals with friendly staff to boot. I recommend it to anybody looking for that real 'pub' experience.

I just had my 21st here and the venue was great! There was lots of a place, it had a really nice vibe and all the staff were so lovely. I would definitely recommend.

The drinks are reasonably priced, and it's usually pretty quiet when I go. There's a pool table and fairy lights in the beer garden which make for a nice enough atmosphere. Waiter was lovely! It's a good place to go for a chat and a drink.

Was there yesterday. Lovely old style pub,VB on tap,and run by friendly,smiling staff and Tony the publican was a nice guy. Wednesday nights have $20 parmis, and they are great value. Only bad point was my trip wasn't long enough to spend more time there. Next time I go to Melbourne the queensberry will be my first stop.

Netter kleiner Biergarten mit guter Getränkeauswahl. Porterhouse Steak ist kein wirkliches Porterhouse Steak (kein Knochen, kein Filetanteil). Außerdem war das Steak kalt und trocken. Service war gut. Nice little beer garden with a good selection of drinks. Porterhouse steak is not really a porterhouse steak (no bone, no fillet). Additionally, the steak was cold and dry. Service was good. A Porterhouse steaks should be cut from the rear end of the short loin and thus include more tenderloin steak, along with (on the other side of the bone) a large strip steak.

Excellent quality food and great atmosphere

Went for a family Sunday carvery lunch. $25.00. Wasnt disappointed. Roast beef, veg and Yorkshire pudding. Beer garden was a nice place to sit and eat. Establishment was clean and tidy. No shabby, dirty or grunge environment here. Daily specials. Fun nights and entertainment. Will definitely be back & I will take pics!
