We went here for Fathers day 2024. The service was poor as was the quality of the food. Fast food at restaurant prices. The service was so poor that they forgot my order altogether and when it arrived there were no apologies. We won't be going back again!

Went out of my way to purchase pizza from this place, expecting to devour an authentic delicious pizza. Instead dinner for the family was underwhelming to say the least. I’ll stick to pizza from the VIC market moving forward.

Recently celebrated mum and dad's 50th wedding anniversary with the family at the Abbruzzo club. Having been here many times, we were again very happy with the food and service. We were accommodated by being allowed upstairs to have photos taken. Thank you to Emilia and the lovely staff for helping make this important occasion a very happy one for mum and dad. Keep up the great work!

SERIOUSLY 😟 pick up your act. I ordered sausage pizza 🍕 do you think you could put at least some sausage on each slice of pizza 🍕 The main serve of spaghetti 🍝 was the size of an entree, a packet of pasta is $2. The size of the salad 🥗 was an absolute joke. We’re Italian 🇮🇹 we don’t mind paying but give us a main serve NOT ENTREE SIZE 😡We had coffee & dessert 🍮 For the money 💰 we paid, we left hungry 😋 & will Never return.

Disappointing! Focaccia was very nice, however main course was cold and the minimal vegetables not very appetizing and salty. Certainly not worth the money we paid. I would be reluctant to return.

I had a really lovely experience on the 29/12/23. My sister has been coming to this place for years and they were so beautiful and respectful. The food and drinks were incredible, the manager really looked after us.

Fabulous pizza! I've been to Abruzzo Club so many times before covid... every time I've been delighted about the food! Btw, last week I've booked for 2 people and when I've arrived we've been told that we could order only pizza and nothing else because of the function... Sadly, I've been very disappointed about that! Nobody told me when I booked. I was willing to celebrate my bday with some arrosticini and other typical dishes from my region (Abruzzo)

OMG had the most wonderful time celebrating my 50th on Sat 23rd September at Il Nido. The food, the staff in particular Louisa, Elisa, & Antonio and others went over and above to make my party the most memorable ever we definitely will be back over and over again Abruzzo Club/Il Nido is a great place to celebrate ❤️🎉🇮🇹

Well here’s proof that these google reviews are not accurate. Very disappointed, very limited menu with very expensive dessert. $14 for a cassata that was half the size of a standard one - just a major rip off! Waiter was constantly pushing extra dishes to make the extra buck so pretty annoyed. Won’t be coming here again! Save your money and don’t even bother.

Great pizza 🍕 I personally 😋 love the Capricciosa... very cool 😎 staff... Luisa in particular... the guys 👦 are awesome as well... for a true Italian night 🌙 out. Shame the kitchen closes 😕 at 9:30 otherwise it would be very similar to an authentic Italian restaurant 😉 😜

Please ask for your receipt and ensure you double check it. As five of us had dinner at 377 lygon, I paid in full and needed the receipt so our group could split it later on. Upon double checking the receipt we had been charged twice for an item or two. After mention this it took the waiter 10 minutes to fumble around and figure out how to remove the double ups and adjust the bill. Upon checking the second receipt a different item was now appearing at a double charge. Again, some time passed and it just didnt seem anyone could work out how to remove the double up or print the correct receipt. I asked for a manager as they had also forgotten 2 of our main dishes but lied and stated it would be out in 2 minutes when we questioned them (15-20 min later it was served). Nobody could provide me with a receipt and they advised it was due them printing it that it was doubling up but i should trust them that it's all rectified. Three incorrect receipts, incorrect wine order, not receiving all our mains and that was enough for us to boycott the Abruzzo Club for any functions or dinner. Servers either come up every few minutes apart and ask the same question or do not appear for long periods. I think the kitchen and waiters were focused on table behind us which had a group of people and one of them being the manager that I spoke to about the bill Upon leaving. I mentioned what about all the other diners that had paid and left before us (as they got their food unlike us) she responded that they're all locals and it was fine! If you asked for a receipt you have been ripped off and double charged. Lastly, manager advised someone will call me on the Monday - I'm still waiting !!!!!

I know It was a busy day on Father's day but the service was very bad. The wine took nearly an hour to come to the table after we had 2 dishes already. The waiter said they forgot and apologised. The portion size of dishes was different to the waiters description and She was rude when we told our feedback.

We had lunch at this establishment on Sunday,27 August! I’ve always enjoyed the food at the Abruzzo Club and I want to thank the young man(from Colombia)and the lovely young lady that looked after us! They were working double shifts but were ever so attentive,happy and kind!

Coould not believe that a drink that cost $6.00 at the pokies bar could cost $14.00 in the function room upstairs. An absolute rip off!!!!

I ordered parmigiana di melanzane and it felt more like an appetizer rather than the main course I had anticipated. Additionally, what added to my disappointment was the fact that there were no side dishes provided, such as a salad, to complement the main dish and add some variety to the meal.

Not worth the hour wait for four pizzas. They had one overworked pizza maker trying to cater to a large crowd. Waiters to busy trying to look good instead of service. And they have the gall to give them a five star review on Google.

Dined here for a quick mid week meal. Pasta was nice but pizza was very soggy and tasteless. Also ordered sparkling water which was cheap & hardly frizzy yet served in a San Pallegrino bottle for $10.

We had my Nonno’s wake at the Abruzzo club and it was perfect. From the initial call ; the staff were lovely, informative, empathetic and provided all options for a great send off. The food was deliciously authentic and in abundance and everyone took some home. The personal touches of flowers and a candle was touching and I couldn’t speak higher of the staff especially the manager. Side note, we did have a guest who needed medical attention and they handled that with so much love and respect while maintaining professional protocol. Thank you Abruzzo club 10/10. You made the day much easier and I appreciate it.

I know it’s a big claim, but I can’t think of better pizza in Melbourne! Also, the linguine marinara in a bisque sauce is unbelievably good.

We visited the pizzeria restaurant at the Abruzzo Club we had a great time the dishes were great the pizza the restaurant serves is the best amongst other dishes,the staff are very friendly but in my opinion the food took long to serve because there wasn't enough staff. Overall it was a great night and the delicious food speaks for itself.
