Very poor customer service , poor rooms , no wifi provided , TV not working , messy rooms

Cameron the GM was brilliant , especially in these most uncertain times!

Uncomfortable beds, no hot water, rude staff.

Great place. Clean, spacious with nice view. free wifi.

Disgusting. Floors not vacuumed, tile floors not clean, overall not a comfortable room to stay in.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I have booked one bedroom apartment and because I have three people staying so I have added extra money for adding one more bed. I have paid for that bed when I booked the room but the hotel charged me extra AUD50 after I have checked out and without my consensus. I contacted the hotel and the staff just did not response to my emails anymore. I am still unable to get back the refund 4 months after my stay. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Worst hotel ever . Check in took ages as no one was there . You had to keep ringing a number that no one would answer and when they finally did they put you on hold for 20 minutes . You then had to email a picture of your ID and credit card . Wait for that to be confirmed and then your were allowed in to be told to ring them again . Waited another 15min on hold . Then got through and finally a key dropped out of a box . There was this poor girl and her friends who were there before me and still waiting after me . I told the lady on the phone but she said she can’t talk to them because she is to busy ! Went up to the room . It was dirty , stained and glass and cigarette butts on the balcony and to top it off a big poo in the toilet . The heater didn’t work and it was freezing . Very disappointed . I have also been charged for the night twice on my credit so now I have to deal with getting my money back ! Trust me don’t ever book there !

Not a good experience. Stayed in a 1 bed apartment for a week with work as location was good. People came into my apartment at 3/4am on 2 seperate nights despite door being locked. Fire alarm with no battery and hanging from ceiling. No iron despite asking them for one. Stains on carpet/curtains/lounge. Smell of smoke in apartment. Knob missing from oven. Room wasn’t cleaned for 5 days during my stay. Avoid!

Hotel has a good location and rooms are modern. Great size wardrobe. If you’re lucky to get a city view, it’s really pretty. Unfortunately the room left us underwhelmed. Carpets were stained and had large pulls, shower silicone riddled with mould, bathroom tiled floor had dirty grout. Large lounge/dining area had a tiny and really uncomfortable couch and tiny table. Lots of wasted space and could be appointed better. Blinds In bedroom do nothing to stop sunlight. Room is bright daylight as soon as the sun starts to rise and even bright overnight from city lights.

Stayed at the ARIA apartments whilst visiting Melbourne. Great location, easy walk to Southbank and CBD. Touch noisy so be prepared for that. Helpful hotel staff, with cooking and kitchen facilities available in the room.

Dusty rooms and not new. Need more maintenance. They keep saying they will release the bond but still hasn’t been refunded after 2 weeks. Be careful people.

Stayed for 3 nights over long weekend in 1 bed deluxe apt. Level 11||Pros: Kitchen, soft bed. Fully catered apt. Close to Woolworths, Coffee shop and eateries.||Cons: bathroom, small wash basin, shower combined with tub. floor waste backflow of shower soap. no bath matts. Cant watch tv from bedroom. Desk Hours 10 to 7pm Sun-Thu.||**Warning Houskeeping||We were informed upon check in there was no housekeeping service on Sundays. Prior to heading off to the tennis at midday Sunday, we seen houskeepers servicing another room on our level. We requested fresh towels which were personally hand delivered. Upon returning to our room late than evening 11pm, we noticed our apt houskeeping, bed linen had been changed without our request, whereby an article of clothing was taken from the bedroom and we reported it missing via an after hours number. We had an early checkout the following morning and could not report it to reception since it wasn't open before 10am. Its been over 48 hrs with still no answer from management regarding our missing clothing.||Stay was ok except for the housekeeping issue. Will not stay again or recommend

We booked a 2 bedroom exec deluxe room. We got bumped a couple of days before travel to aria platinum. Never seen such a crap room - terrible furniture, stains all over the carpet and nothing like photos in the web.

Extremely basic rooms - not sure where Aria found its 4.5 star rating. WHEELCHAIR USERS BEWARE - unlike the description on Aria's website, these apartments are NOT wheelchair accessible at all. There are no specially-designed, wheelchair-friendly rooms - these apartments are congested for mobile guests, let alone those needing mobility aids. Had booked in a room for two weeks but upon arrival found that (unlike deceiving photos on website) rooms were way too small for one of our guests who relies on a wheelchair to move around in an apartment. This meant we had to arrange accommodation 40 minutes from Melbourne CBD rather than in Southbank as we had to make our own alternate arrangements on the day of our arrival (four days before Christmas) simply so our wheelchair-using guests could be comfortable. Extremely disappointing considering we had booked seven months in advance and all because we were given the wrong information by Aria's reservations team. However, staff should be commended for trying their best to make alternative arrangements for us when we found our apartment to be (completely) unsuitable. We will be following up on Aria’s “wheelchair friendly” description as this was not correct. And this does not just apply to the rooms – a ramp in the reception area cannot be handled by wheelchair users on their own. If you need parking, stay away from these apartments as the parking is unbelievably tight for a small car, let alone a large vehicle. Every positive review here is completely incorrect.

This was by far the noisiest hotel we hacmve ever stayed in. We had a family room, with 2 rooms, there was a party or something going on and it was so noisy in my daughters room that she ended up sleeping on the floor of our room. Which wasnt any better. The bathroom walls were filthy, and the bathroom door kept getting stuck and locking us in. The front door was tricky to lock at all. Then there was the $100 deposit that wasnt specified when we booked, but was asked for when we checked in. All in all, definitely not worth the $200 we paid for a sleepless night. Very disappointed!!!!

I needed accommodation in Melbourne for a few nights and wanted to be close to crown casino. I came across this property at a very reasonable price for a 1 bedroom apartment. The location was excellent, check in was very straight forward and quick and the apartment itself was in very good condition. I would have no hesitation staying at this property again and recommending it to others

I booked a 1 bedroom executive premier apartment for 2 nights. I have stayed at Aria alot both work and personal travel and could never fault the rooms. I always booked directly through Aria but on this occasion I booked through Agoda. Unfortunately this time the room was far from the standards I have experienced before. The bed was lucky to pass as a double bed and was a bit old and felt every single spring in the bed. Also the shower was not clean. I addressed this with reception and they could not have been more helpfull. The lady at the desk was happy for me to inspect other rooms and move into another room. I was very impressed with the service when I wasnt happy with the room. The lady went above and beyond to help. I will always continue to stay with Aria

Rates itself at 4.5 star would be lucky to pull a 3 star. Room stinks of cigarette smoke and cupboard shelves and top of fridge you can literally write your name in the dust. Broken light fittings, stains on floor and couch, sliding doors to bedroom and bathroom off the runners. Absolute scam when you pay $533 for 2 nights. Yes it was over New Year but could and should have booked elsewhere. Thought from pics and rate we would be getting a lovely apartment room. Totally DISGUSTED

For a property that claims 4half stars what a load of rubbish, lucky to scrape 3 stars. Room stinks like an ashtray, stains on carpet and lounge along with dust and grime in kitchenette.||Bed was comfortable

Advertising for a double size bed and pushing two singles together is poor form. Service was also average and staff non existent for check in. Should have read the reviews prior to booking

Good location. Room is clean and spacious. But you need to send requests to get house keeping. On my last day of the stay, they didn't come even I 've requested house keeping. Carpark is extremely tight. Hard for those 4WD.

Ariival was good. Reception staffer was great. Apartment 141. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Where do I start with the issues? The bathroom door won't close - it's broken off it's runners. The powder room door is crooked and doesn't close properly. The Gold Class internet doesn't work AT ALL. The kitchen has crockery and glasses and cutlery. There is one small saucepan, one frypan and a large pot. There's a toaster and kettle and nothing else. The carpet is dirty, the lounges are dirty, the kitchen cupboards are dusty, and the stovetop is grotty. One burner of the three doesn't remain lit. The walls are marked, knocked around and the living room has watermarks from the air con. Thankfully the weather has been cool and we haven't needed to turn it on. It probably doesn't work/spews water. Positives - the linen looks clean and the reception person is good. She has offered to try and find a salad bowl and tongs for me. As this is a small family get together for Xmas, the disappointment factor is huge.

WiFi didn't work. Received 2 towels for 3 guests called reception 10 times and was disconnected everytime after being put on hold. Was definitely expecting a better service considering that their a 4 star hotel

This was genuinely very ordinary. I had a 1 bed apartment and it was very poor. The floor was stained in at least 10 major spots and 20+ minor spots. The furniture was broken, the bed was a brick. Just don't.

Rooms were good, Parking is very tight to drive up and down. Good luck getting a large 4WD in there. As I was leaving I opened a door and a young staff member barged her way pass me without an apology, then turned around to go back out so I held the door open for her and she walked straight passed me like I was not even there. No thank you or acknowledgment at all. Very Rude!

Great location, friendly staff

Modern, clean & thanks to the double glazing, quiet. Great location - close to Melbourne Convention Centre. Good price for 1 night.

It's okay. Good value I suppose and okay location. The king bed was two singles shoved together with no zipper or mattress cover connecting them. A pretty good setup though with a small apartment and fully functional kitchen. given though that it's a full kitchen complete with 4 burner stove and an oven, it would be great if there was more than one pot. Staff in reception was friendly. They put a hold on your card though and I think it's pretty unfair that it takes 7 buisness days to come off your card. A hold serves its purpose- I did not damage their hotel room and therefore deserve to have my money back. They come in and make your room up each day, which is nice. However removing the soap bar and removing the little shampoo bottles when they had lots of life left in them is pretty wasteful. As well as the towels which I had hung up. In a two night stay I did not need these things replaced. If there had been a do not disturb sign I'd have used it . Lots of hotels often have a note that if you hang your towels up they will not be replaced. So perhaps they need one of these. Having a washer and dryer was nice. My room faced a busy highway and had lots of traffic noise.

So miserable hotel apartments. There is no locker in toylet. Lift os so slow somtimes it is not working. It takes 45 minutes to goes to down floor from level 14. We need to take the fire exit if you are in hurry.

Basic studio accommodation which was clean and tidy. Good for the price you pay. Receptionist was very friendly and nice to me and the folks in front of me in the check-in queue. My room overlooked ten lanes of traffic so I used earplugs to block out the trucks. It's a background noise though so doesn't impact too much. The king bed" was two singles shoved together with no mattress cover combining them. If you roll over in the night (or wanted to cuddle your other half) that would not be great. Over its not the Taj Mahal but it was perfectly fine for a short stay."

還可以!位置不錯 缺點浴室水量小

Rooms were DIRTY ! Holes in carpet, which we kept tripping on. Walls were marked and feral. Capet had stains EVERYWHERE ! lighting in bathroom horrible. Reception staff RUDE ! $200 bond takes over a week to come back into your account. No parking available for us either and weren’t willing to walk 10+ from crown carpark with multiple bags of luggage so had to park on street which we were fined for.

I would not recommend staying at this place. super rude receptionist Sam who seemed like he was hating life. well done dude :) Ironically while we were staying in the room we found another review about a cracked window, single beds connected together to make double beds and things not working.. I should of copy and pasted the poor review.

worst maintenance and room cleaning I have ever seen. broken window. broken fan. leaking kettle. shower tap fell off daily. dust everywhere. paid extra for cleaning that was half done. worst car park access BEWARE. extremely tiny signage for rear alley 1-way access to car park. phone calls are to a call centre. staff at the call centre have never been to the hotel. room was great and a great location. management is just horrible.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING service!! Told me i would have a park for the night and that there was 24 hr service .. Got there no one there long story short it was transferred to different ppl 2 hours driving around then didnt let us in

As a group, we had booked a 3 bedroom apartment and on arrival had found that the staff had over booked and placed our group into 2 separate apartments. This was fine, they compensated us with breakfast. The apartments themselves were disappointing as the carpets and walls were particularly grotty with questionable stains, dirty marks and smears. The doonas on the beds were very stained (hidden by sheets) and we found hair and something crusted on the blankets in the cupboards. The views were beautiful and the layout of the apartment was fine, the cleanliness however was not worth their 4.5 star rating. The back of the bedroom door also had a hole in it, and the car park was a joke. Reception staff were lovely, this review does not reflect their service. Overall, the standards of the apartment’s housekeeping and maintenance need to be looked at.

Not clean. Reception hours very poor. No house keeping on Sundays. Room not ready when suppose to be had to wait 2 hours. Not enough towels had to ring reception and go down and get them myself. Told to remove rubbish ourselves.

The waste room opposite my room had flooded so had an industrial fan drying the carpet overnight pretty much outside my room door. Also aircon was not working so could not heat up the room in the middle of winter. Needless to say did not have a sound sleep overnight. Also a hint of stale cigarette smoke smell desperately blanketed by cleaning products odour. Shame. I’ve stayed once before and it was solid, good, clean. Luck of the drawer I guess.

Staff were very rude and unhelpful would not let my 18 year old daughter check in even though we changed account to her name and she had ID. I called from my play and tried to sort it out but they were unbelievably rude. Ruined my night out and didn't even bother to reply to my email.

The hotel itself was really nice, pleasant, beautiful view, everything you could have asked for... The staff however... Rude, unwelcoming, unhelpful & demeaning. As we walked in we witnessed some younger students getting treated horribly by one of the staff, she was on her phone, very unpleasant in the way that she spoke to the kids who were just asking an innocent question about when their apartment would be available despite them be on time for the 2pm check in. Towards me and my wife she was very hostile. Our English isn't great but it for sure isn't bad. She spoke to us very aggressively and it didn't make us feel very welcome AT ALL. Overall the hotel was really nice to stay at but we were very upset with the way we were handled. Won't be returning next time we fly to Australia, that's for sure! 1/5

The worst i have ever stayed in Melbourne. The parking was so tight and small barely enough for SUV. On The first night there wasnt any parking spot available at all so i had to Park at The crown and The reception wasnt even willing to refund The parking fee. One of The lift is always out of order. The room cleanliness is 5/10. Room lighting is 3/10. Service & friendliness 3/10. Dont stay at this Apartments. Try The vue Grande Apartments instead its 9/10 and only 5 min walk from crown

**LONG POST WARNING! 😂 My mum who lives overseas booked me a hotel stay for my birthday! Was super excited as I’m an events manager who works a lot and was super keen for a break! Travelled 3hrs down to stay here, I had my wallet stolen before hand so called 2 days in advance to organise a cash bond for the room as I know some places don’t accept cash bonds! They told me over the phone which I have a voicemail saved of the staff member telling me that a cash bond was okay! When I arrived for check in the receptionist was super friendly and then I explained to her my situation and that I had already spoken with someone about the cash bond situation. She then was blunt, unsympathetic and on a power trip. I was in tears at the check in desk, I offered $200 in cash PLUS car keys and a passport!! They wouldn’t take anything from me or even attempt to help me in this situation. Coming from a customer experience background I was devastated by how badly I was treated. I had no one else that could secure a card bond. I had to call everyone I knew in the city who were meeting me for dinner to see if anyone could do it for me, then she said I’m happy to cancel your booking and you can find somewhere else to check into that accepts cash bonds! I was dumbfounded by this response I was due to be at the evening function within the hour! This hotel single handedly ruined my night I was shaking with stress and in tears as I had NO WHERE else to sleep! Eventually someone came through for me and helped me out. The second receptionist I dealt with was lovely but that was because there was no issue now I had a card bond! NO WHERE DOES IT SAY ON THE CONFIRMATION THAT YOU NEED A CARD TO CHECK IN!! Got into the room, stunk of cigar smoke. Bathroom wasn’t clean and by this point I had no time to even address it. As I was already late!! The last and final straw was when I went to use the wifi to Skype back home and work after my evening the wifi isn’t connected! The front desk couldn’t help as they wouldn’t take ANY responsibility for my room issue as I was in the apartment block next door WHICH IS STILL THIER HOTEL!!! I am so disgusted in this trip they have well and truely ruined it for me! This was supposed to be a super happy weekend! I will NEVER recommend this hotel for business, leisure or for anything else!! HORRIBLE!!!

Very bad , I stay @ building B ,bad wifi, have very round in side room.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They are blatantly RACIST and have no respect for people’s belongings whatsoever. I do not recommend going here at all.

The bathroom was incredibly dirty. We had to clean the toilet ourself before we sat on it. There was long female hair stuck onto the wall of the bathroom. The water in the shower wasn’t hot, lukewarm at best. The bed wasn’t made properly. It was our second time staying here, and really really disappointed that it was so dirty. We won’t be going back.

Front desk lady was rude, incompetent, hostile to us. This German lady is the worst customer service provider I have ever encountered. The room was no where close to what they advertised and the wifi did not work for the full duration of our stay. After we left 2 days later, I received a phone call at MIDNIGHT about how we have candy wrapper behind the nightstand and they want to charge us for it. THIS IS A SCAM!! STAY AWAY!!!

Great room size, 2 bedrooms but had 4 single beds. Bathroom shower floor still had hair as was not cleaned properly, extra blankets full of hair, internet was the worse internet service. Could not connect to the 4 different networks so could not work in the apartment. The apartment was serviced after 2 days at our request but they only put new towels on the table and made the bed like a 5 year old, I would not call that servicing the room, no extra tea or coffee or soap given. Very poor experience

Stayed here during our Melbourne trip. Location: 3/5 It is located outside of CBD. The free-tram zone is about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Convenient stores like Metro and IGA are nearby. Macdonalds is just across the road and it's the only eating outlet around within the 20m radius. There are 2 nearby car rentals - Avis/Budget and Europcar. So you don't have to travel far to rent a car. Accommodation: 3/5 The apartment does not operate 24hrs on certain days. Meaning it's only the guests and the apartment itself after they closed down for the night. The room we got was decent. Doesn't really have that 'wow' factor. So I couldn't be bothered taking pictures of the room. Wifi connection was extremely poor. We ended up using mobile data throughout our stay. Customer Service 5/5 Staffs were friendly and helpful. Our interaction with them were smooth and pleasant. Overall 3/5 The factors that are pulling the ratings down are (1) poor wifi connection and (2) decent room.

Need to park at Crown casino for flat rate 17 is OK. Down side is reception is closed by 7 and require guest to go to another location to check in.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Utterly disorganised, reception closes at 7pm (which they don’t tell you in advance) and you have to go to a different hotel to check in and pick up keys. Which, when you finally find your way back to the hotel you’ve booked don’t work. We had to then walk back to the other hotel to get new keys. Abysmal. Also perhaps the rudest staff I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter. Disinterested, incompetent and lazy. If you drive anything larger than a sedan, you’ll lose paint in the car park. They’ve had to put pool noodles on strings to try and ‘fix’ the problem, fortunately our car isn’t massive so we were ok. The chipped concrete & rainbow coloured corners show we were the exception.

Very run down and too far out from the CBD. Balcony looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years.

A small group of my friends and I recently stayed at Aria Apartments innate of a friends birthday. We chose Aria Apartments because they have always provided an exceptional service. Aria staff were always friendly and approachable at all hours of the day. To my disappointment, my most recent experience with Aria was underwhelming to say the very least. Upon arrival, the lady at reception was rude and hostile, making my friends and I feel very unwelcome. As instructed on arrival, when we were checking out on the last day we placed both room keys at reception. Given there was no ‘fast check out’ box to place our keys like at most hotels, we left them behind the counter out of reach of any other people. The desk was unattended and given we were in a hurry, we saw no other option. We were not informed that these keys needed to be returned to Aria reception after we had been moved to the Banks Apartments next door. To us, it made sense to leave the keys at the desk of the apartment in which we stayed. Additionally, prior to attending we pre-booked a car spot, this has never been an issue in the past. However, the lady at reception advised us that there were no spaces available which inconvenienced us greatly given we had a lot of luggage. My friend who paid for the apartment was still charged for a car space despite not using one. It is extremely disappointing that after numerous attempts to get our money back in the last almost 4 weeks, we are still $540 out of pocket. I struggle to understand how this price can be justified for ‘losing’ two room keys. We requested that CCTV footage be reviewed multiple times to prove these keys were placed in a safe area. We were told by again, the lady at reception, that she would liaise with Bank Apartments next door to access this footage. The only person available to talk to majority of the time we phoned in was this lady, who always used the excuse that no one higher than her could assist us. At our initial encounter with this lady, she informed us she was a trainee. Why has a trainee been left to deal with situations involving money on so many occasions? It is highly unprofessional. Despite our best efforts to communicate with Aria and achieve a solution, we have had no response from them on the matter. They are not driven to help their customers and it is especially a shame considering I am a returning customer. We won’t be staying at Aria again and they should be utterly humiliated that they are comfortable taking money from people under the age of 20.

big and clean room. walk distance to city center, close to the casino.

Amazing place. Free up grade to 2 rooms. Thanks

I am literally still in pain from the bed AND couch. Both had springs poking into my back and bum on the seat. I asked 3 times for a bed comforter to which they assured me was coming.... it came to 10pm at night and nothing. So another nights sleep on the spring. (You can't call it a bed at all) Small, a little smelly. But hey, it's melbourne and for $100 a night you can't expect much....Besides a comfortable mattress. (They don't cost much to replace management......) The mattress really didn't even belong in a hostel..... more likely a bin. Oh my back...........

Poor customer service. The address we had on our printed receipt was different to the building this apartment was in so I had to call to ask as the key would not open the door. This was at 9pm at night! The shower was filthy with mould all around. We had to be careful not to touch the walls. Not just the grout but the tile surface itself had mould! No exhaust in the bathroom is the cause. No AC in the bedroom just the living room. The lounge in the living was dirty too. The single seater looked broken. Overall poor poor quality for the price charged.

These apartments are in a great location close to the Casino and Southbank.

Totally disappointing. We asked for two separate beds in one of the bedrooms when booking. When we got there we were told they were unavailable. Once in the rooms all that had to happen was to split the double bed. Just too lazy to do it. The rooms were grubby. There were no duvet covers, just sheets covering them. Mine had blood stains and other stains. Totally horrible. The second day one bed was made out of the three. Hair on the shower tiles. No shower cap supplied. Just grubby. Definitely would not recommend.

Friendly staff, good value, great house keeping staff...very close to the Crown and river.

The apartment was neat, clean and comfortable. The location was great, close to central Melbourne. The staff was polite and respectful and also allowed us to check out an hour late upon request at no extra cost. I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had the worst stay here. Our room was not like the one advertised, the wifi is below average, the beds are very uncomfortable - paid for a queen bed and had two singles stuck together. Our room & hotel floor stunk like garbage when we complained to reception they were rude and unhelpful. Initially denying that there was an issue to then saying it was a known issue. After we finally were able to move rooms, we found out they checked other guests into the same smelly room that we had initially been in. Terrible customer service, would recommend avoiding staying here.

Great location very close to the exhibition building

Convenient place to stay

Nicely located near Crown Casino in Southbank this hotel has all the convince you would expect from serviced apartments. It was clean and tidy but yet I've had a below average experience on my recent stay. The bathroom, to put it bluntly, was extremely smelly. I could hear fans working but I suspect my apartment had a problem with the drains. Luckily it was a short stay where I spent minimal time in the actual room. Hopefully an isolated incident. I've notified hotel on check out of the problem.

We had a Premier Apartment in the building next door. Very disappointed. It was grubby throughout. Won't stay again.

The cupboards don't close very well" - my wife."

I have never had such a bad experience in my many years of travel. The bedrooms have NO air conditioning and it’s advertised as airconditioined When we called about this all that was said is there is one in the living room just keep your doors open and after a few hours it will cool down, in my 3 kids room it was 30 degrees and we literally booked another hotel and moved at 2am as the hotel was not helpful and very rude. Oh sorry they did offer to bring up a fan. The manager came up to the room and agreed it was very hot essoecilly in the kids room, the next day we called to organise a refund at least for the next 4 nights that we paid for and they wouldn’t despite them failing to advise there is not aircon. Having to move with no help 3 baby’s was not easy and they where not appalgetic at all. And yeah no compensation at all. Regardless of us loosing $1200 it was a great choice to move. The sebel in Docklands is amazing and great service they helped our situation and where very accommodating

My experiences with this place is not a pleasant one and after reading other reviews of this place I find that it is more common rather than the exception. It started off when we were in the room and found that the air conditioning unit had as much impact as an elderly man laying on his death bed and that it only made one small area reasonably bare able. The next one was when I called main reception to inform them that my phone was connecting to the WiFi but it informed there was no internet, my frustration was amplified when the person on the other line informed me that I had to go downstairs to the reception area next door as I was staying in the Bank apartments which also has private residents and informed them off the issue. I was informed that I should find the modem and have it reset and try again which I was happy to do and then she informed that instead of coming down to reception again that I can call if there is any further problems. I head back upstairs and try the suggested solution to which it did nothing so once again I call both numbers for the reception to which they sounded surprised and advise that I had to once again make my way downstairs to reception rather than have the person on the other end of the phone who I thought was reception to assist me, on a side note the people I was talking to over the phone wasn’t the person at reception but an employee elsewhere. When I head back down a second time to tell them the issue her response was “Are you sure because I’m sure it’s working” to which I informed her that it wasn’t by showing her photos I took after resetting the modem in the room which made me think that if I hadn’t taken the photos she wouldn’t have believed me but after that she stated she would let the maintenance team aware and they would come to fix the matter ohhh full disclosure they never showed up. Later that day me and my wife decided to check out a day early as we had issues with place regarding the air conditioning, the WiFi and the service that Aria hotels didn’t provide and are currently at the Crown Metropolitan hotel. When it came time to check out and my wife dropping the keys off to reception and why we were leaving early the staff member claimed that the internet in our room was fixed to which I had inform her that it wasn’t as maintenance never showed up and for some unknown reason she stated that we couldn’t get a refund for the room to which I never suggested we wanted one we simply wanted to check out. Let me clarify one thing the building we were staying in was Banks Apartment which is completely separate from the Aria Hotel apartments and the staff there are only to assist the residences who live in the building so this negative review for them. Attached are photos of the modem and screenshots of the issue on my phone.

Very happy with the room and view.

Great city views and cosy apartment rooms

Great place.

Great groom with a gorgeous view and very modern. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is due to the wifi being out during my stay. I had to go the the lobby to access the internet.

Less average than what I've expected

Great location. The apartment was roomy. However, house keeping was almost non existent.

Air conditioning was useless, we left it on all night and still wasn't cold, (the temp was 23deg over night) Bed; two singles pushed together does not make it a king size bed. It makes it two single beds pushed together with a sheet on top. TV didnt work. Hallway and common areas had a bad smell, similar to that of rottting cheese. Certainly not a 4.5 star hotel like advertised. You have the capability to become nice, just more effort and maintenance is needed.

Great location. Room was ok.

Spacious and well designed apartment made for a comfortable stay while visiting for work. Location was perfect with only a short walk to the Convention Centre or Crown hotels and Casino. Easy access to nice waterfront walks along the Yarra River. There's a Woolworths Metro only 100m up the street for getting the day to day supplies and again, easy walk to all the waterfront restaurants and cafes. There is paid parking available at the hotel and provide WIFI although at the time I stayed there were issues with the provider so it wasn't available for me. The bed was comfy and the lounges were also good to relax on at the end of the day. Kitchen facilities were adequate though I didn't really test it all as I usually ate out with work events.
