Lovely bar, even better chicken tenders xo

Live music and great food

Great large-ish Irish bar. Gets noisy in the evenings and it can be hard to get a table. It's not the easiest place to have a chat but the atmosphere is great. Door staff are friendly if you are and bar staff are efficient.

Ordered the spinach and ricotta 'jumbo' tortellini. You only get 2 medium pieces for $29.00, an entree size. I asked the waitress behind the bar if this was right. They asked the chef who said that's how it comes. Nothing else offered as a replacement. The ratatouille tasted like a tin of chopped tomatoes and the coke was flat. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this place for food.

Great pub, always something happen. $8 pints

I’m sorry now $38 for potato, carrot, a burnt Yorkshire pudding and tomato sauce…absolute state of it hahaha. In what world is that a roast dinner. Should’ve expected it as got the vegetarian “smash patty” before and it was a breaded falafel burger? Food is absolutely shocking and not remotely as described

Good Irish pub vibes with live band

The flags are all optics here. Used to come here but they removed the indigenous flag. Not sure why so much of Irish identity is built in opposition to British colonialism when they do the exact same thing in Australia.

We had a 17 person booking and everything was perfect. We got a cozy corner that was a bit more isolated from others, felt really private and lovely for a bigger gathering! Food came simultaneously (despite everyone ordering separately) as we asked prior to ordering if it would be possible.

card 139 guard - is the best dude ever , chelsea shall win!!!!!

Nice pub.

Relaxing venue with gd service

Went there with some mates to have some drinks and food. Thank you, we had a great time.

Great spot to enjoy the perfect happy hour deal!huge outdoor seating and a smoking allowed side. Staff s super friendly here too, would recommend especially for groups

Great Irish pub with very nice live music!

Okay place.

Pints of Guiness dirt cheap 😁 POWER HOURS EVERY FRIDAY FROM 3PM Selected pints & wines: $6 from 3-4pm $7 from 4-5pm $8 from 5-6pm $9 from 6-7pm $10 from 7-8pm

Food was horrible, chips look pike they scraped the bottom off the barrel for, fish was watery and not fresh. Very overpriced for the quality given.

Bad service. Drink tasted terrible and food terrible and over priced.

10 out of 10 on food service atmosphere all of the above. All the best Irish pubs I’ve been to yet. Of course poor great Guinness and what are the beef burger off the main menu and was not disappointed it was beautiful. Great place to come down for some pots as well. Highly recommend.

Great, friendly service. Delicious Guinness on tap and the fit out of the place has been done really well.

We had dinner in the whisky bar, the food and service was outstanding

Irish is all it needs to be. Temple bar,eat your heart out.

10/10

The Christmas Dinner here today was absolutely banging 👌🏼😍 The service was also excellent!

Georgie the Scottish lass and Amy the scourge girl gave unbelievable service and made me feel like I was back in Dublin!

Top 3 steak night. This is our 6th visit and 3rd week in a row (always a steak night, will need to try another night) and the steak is cooked perfectly each time. The chips are delicious and crunchy and the peppercorn sauce is extremely tasty. This would be my death row meal hands down. The wine is really nice, staff are all friendly and attentive and the renovated venue is cosy and inviting. (We’ve sat outside and in the restaurant)

Great venue all round

Really lovely bar with a great interior.. but if you want a decent Spice Bag go to Jimmy O' Neill's. Mash was not good quality at all but the girl who served us was so lovely.

Great Irish bar and restaurant with lots of Irish memorabilia and shows playing on the tvs. The service was quick and friendly. Not much in the way of parking, aside from street parking if you get lucky. Lots to choose from on the menu. The chips were delicious and the steak sandwich was good. Chicken Parma was also received well by other guests. I would definitely book ahead to ensure you have a table reserved.

Food was banging worth every cent

Food is okay. We got the parma and beef stew. Parma was good but the beef stew was cold in some spots and didn't taste fresh. Drinks are slightly overpriced. Atmosphere is great.

Stella steak, shit service & grim gravy!

It’s a great pub the security ruin the vibe

Popped in for a pint of Guinness on a very busy Sunday, been following the socials from a distance. Live music, plenty of ex-pats. Didn’t have time to eat on this trip, maybe next time. The pint was great though!

Shockingly bad service. So bad we’re still actually a bit confused about what happened. Went in at 2:20 on a Friday. Not terribly busy. 2nd in line at the bar. The girls there served the person in front of us, then repeatedly went and took orders from the people on rather side of us who were sitting at the bar. No acknowledgement that we were waiting at all…waited for over 15 minutes and gave up. It was like they were more concerned about flirting with tradies and getting ready for the evening than taking anyone’s order.

Lovely place, live music, good beers

Best Irish pub ever! Love Niamh! Stunning at anytime!

Really surprised never been in but unreal how good it is.. staff really go above and beyond for you

I just stopped by to get some drinks after eating. Amazing service and lovely atmosphere. I will be back for sure

First time back since the improvements/extensions done. Warm, friendly Irish hospitality as always. The food was delicious. A good pint.

lots of good beers on tap, comfy seating, and good vibes 🤙

Had an unforgettable Sunday night at this incredible Irish pub! The live music was absolutely amazing and the vibe from the crowd made the night even better. They also had a huge screen showing the F1, which was perfect for watching the race from the main bar. If you’re looking for a great time with live music, sports, and a lively atmosphere, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

We dined at 2:00pm on a Tuesday. There were plenty of tables available inside and outside and we were seated immediately. Inside was a breathtaking recreation of an Irish pub - dark panelling, media from significant moments in Irish history on screens, many places to sit with different feelings and a broad range of Irish food and drink staples. The list of whiskeys was incredible. I had the beef Guinness stew and it was perfect. My beautiful wife had salmon on toast and the bacon and cabbage croquettes. The food arrived very quickly and it was hot, fresh and tasty. We spent a good deal of time stealing each others’ food. 😄 I had a blindingly cold Guinness pint and it was marvellous. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The price was bang on what we expected. We’ll be back for beer and whiskey paddles.

Great steak and price on steak night. Missed sitting at a bar eating and talking to staff. Nice place enjoyed it

Brilliant night, atmosphere was fun and safe

Have been there multiple times. If you are looking for something a bit more quiet, head to the left side (restaurant area) It has table service and the food is nice. Not many options for GF

Food was ok - bit overpriced for the quality of the food. Vibe and service was very good - enjoyed the night overall and would go for drinks and maybe some snacks but probably not dinner.

Nothing quite like an Irish bar to kick off a good weekend. I visited the Fifth Province at around eleven and the atmosphere was at its peak. Live music, Friday night football on the big screen, and a packed dance floor was all it took to lure us in. We got drinks but no food so though I’ve heard good things about the meals I can’t say much. Drinks were great though and the bar staff were having as much fun as their patrons it seemed. There were so many different areas including a seated outdoor eating area, a bistro and bar. We spent most of our time in the bar which was also split into a few rooms including a section dedicated to sports fans streaming live games, and a back area for those who prefer a drink over a boogie. My spot was by the stage and the live music was enough to fill the bar and keep it going even as we headed off for the night. It got quite packed and the atmosphere was buzzing, I lost my friends a few times in the crowd but eventually found them between songs. It’s quite loud in some areas of the venue so pick wisely if you’re there for conversation and a catch up. Parking is available on the streets surrounding but there’s also trams stopping out the front making getting home a breeze after a few drinks. I found it to be the most vibrant place on the street going into the early hours of the morning, so if you’re in for a night out in St Kilda put this Irish bar on the list!

One of my favourite Irish pubs you have everything you need and they just recently did the venue up

Ripper venue. Amazing Guinness and the power hour is simply beyond unbelievable value. Food was exceptional. Plenty of options for places to eat and drink both inside and outside. Highly recommend the chicken curry.

Went on a Thursday and it still felt like a party. Loved the live band and the food was really good

Great food & sevice! Lively atmosphere

매주 목요일에는 치킨 파마 데이라서 25불에 먹을수 있답니다. 치킨과 칩스는 바로 요리하고 샐러드는 신선하고 추천합니다.

A huge venue with outdoor spaces, great food, craft beer and live music

Very loud . Food was delicious

Recently opened after renovations and is now a super mart of a pub. Very improved but the crush of people might be a little overwhelming for some. However, good service and good venue. Has certainly brightened up the area of Fitzroy St it is in and promises to become a precinct in itself. No doubt will be great summer venue.

Let’s first talk about the new whisky bar and its fit-out. The interiors are absolutely gorgeous, making you feel as though you’re in a chic space in New York, Dublin, or London. I wouldn't have come to the old section solo, but I'll happily spend hours in this space , a) because it's sexy and b) because the real highlight here is the food. Sunday roast, Tuesday steak, all the trimmings and huge servings, each dish is exceptional. The chef has transformed this place from a simple pub grub into a high-end gastropub, comparable to those you’d find in London. All the staff are warm and welcoming, know the locals after a few visits as you’d expect for the Irish. This is the best place in St Kilda.

The Fifth Province had a glow up. This place is great and always attracts a joyeous crowd on a sunday.
