This place was great. Lots of parking, great atmosphere and was very clean. The service was excellent. You walk in and it's great and when it's busy you think you won't get any service, but they accommodate and were very friendly.

Nice place to eat with the timeless sound of Bingo in the background and hamburgers the monday night $20 special. Did i mention Brookvale ginger beer on tap and beautiful sorbets for dessert - strawberry, mandarin, and cherry? Cricket and Premier league football above the bingo - a nice too-hot-to-cook evening.

Arrived at 9.05 and was told they shut the kitchen early even though advertised to 9.30. I wouldn’t recommend

$30 for the worst parma I've ever had

We came ti thw hotel for lunch yesterday 15/01/25. Ive order the special of the day chicken parma, my mate ordered salt and pepper calamari. Food was very average, parma was bland, calamari was chewy and poorly presented on the plate. The hotel is looking a little tired. Qr codes don't work, atmosphere was very dull. Food was very average. The person at the bar was nice.

Charging the same price for “wood fired pizzas” when the wood fire oven isnt turned on and instead serving partly frozen pizzas that were inedible (no one on our table was able to stomach them). The bases were frozen supermarket bases, covered in a sickly level of cheese. Not the same pizzas as pictured in other reviews. Understand it’s new years and your chef is probablt away, but you can’t charge pub prices for that crap. Disgraceful

Came here to do the CRS but the bins were full thanks to a certain local demographic who overloads their bins frequently because they're stingy and scrape every cent. The staff were helpful and explanative as to why they couldn't accept my returns.

In for an early $25 steak night. Had received positive reviews to “must try” from some locals over last few months. Sat in the back restaurant they opened the doors and a pleasant cool breeze flowed through A combination of young families,, elderly couples, mixed friends demographics throughout the hotel making for nice local atmosphere I ordered the steak special medium rare with chimmi churri chilli butter (and an extra mushroom sauce $2) We also had a chicken parmigiana And another steak special ordered. LLB’s and water tonight A lovely waitress. Good fun & cheerful Steaks were a tad disappointing. Looked great. Smelt fabulous but tasted a tad old or like had been frozen and thawed as when cut inside a darkish pink but not bloody My extra mushroom sauce never came out The Parma looked great on the plate and was “satisfactory” nothing stand out Glad gave it a try. We still had a nice catch up. Even my local friend said it’s not normally like this.

Just had lunch today at this great hotel with beautiful staff , Tara being very obliging, and fabulous food. Highly recommended . Especially enjoyed the gamberi pizza and amaretto sour.

Steak night Tuesday. Seriously To be fair not many places ever get this right but there would not be many worse steaks served up than here. We fell in and ordered one Porterhouse each Straight out of the fridge cooked the day before and put on a plate and served to me. Never again

Me and my housemate had a great time, we had excellent service, some guy served us I think his name was Harry, very handsome bloke, absolute legend, we had a great time and will recommend to friends. Chips are genuine perfect combo of crunch and softness.

Look beyond the exterior of this suburban hotel. It’s modern, clean (even the bathrooms) and the food is excellent. Kids meals are amazing value - cheeseburger (full size) drink and ice cream! Chicken burger was out of this world. Perfect mixture of flavour and spice. Do not pass go. Check this place out.

Good pub/hotel type food near Ripponlea. I ordered the nduja pizza, great hot and spicy taste. There are specials every day,$18 pizza deal on Thursday was fantastic. Staff are very friendly. The setting is also good for watching sport and catching up with mates, lots of space available. Thank you very much.

@The Grosvenor the food is just OK at the moment, the great chef has left and the genuine craft beers and daily meal specials are all gone! Fake craft taps everywhere:( Since the new corporate takeover it’s all CUB and subsidiaries like 4 Pines. Pretending to be St Kilda local but fooling no one, despite being owned by a conglomerate including a well known Saints ex player. What a shame and a sham. And the music is rubbish. Gee I envy Fitzroy…… and I miss Frank!

Came to watch the Saints play, order a garlic/herb and mozzarella pizza with some beers. The pizza was amazing, the crust is on point😀👍, the perfect snack for watching the game.

Geosvner hotel has the best pizzas in Melbourne. We went there on last Thursday pizza special night. And pizzas were excellent. The cheese was melting in mouth and wood fire smokie effect was brilliant. Totally recommend.

Very disappointed, firstly after we had placed the order& paid for it. Waiter informs us then that there was no gluten free pizza base which we came for initially!After my friend had ordered the garlic prawns which also were heated up & were inedible! Completely overcooked & rubbery! No gluten free bread for a steak sandwich! Steer clear for gluten free condition!

Had a great Saturday night here. The food was super tasty, completed by a nice pub atmosphere and efficient service. I had the Rump steak that was absolutely perfect, cooked exactly as ordered and topped with a delicious mushroom sauce, exceeding my expectation for pub foods. The Chicken parma was also very flavourful. Finished the night with a sweet tasty sticky date pudding with rum flavoured ice cream. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area and I will surely revisit again.

Parma night, good deal for these days. That was great. Also ordered some calamari also, but it came out soggy in oil and undercooked, a few more minutes and they would have been great. But it was a busy night. Will definitely head back.

The steaks are good, but my son had a pizza that tasted off, we asked them to make another one & they made it into such a big deal, then he was up sick all night from it (there was no other illness, or symptoms). I left 2 VM's to let them know so others would not get food poisoning too & got absolutely ZERO reply.. Terrible customer experience

We waited over an hour for our food, which was small and disappointing. So small we ordered a pizza after we finished our mains. The pizza was faster and more delicious. The bar staff seemed to serve people at random instead of the people waiting the longest. Overall, it was not as pleasant as our previous visit.

Fast Efficient and good sized meals

I had a pizza and a couple of pints if beer. Pizza was so yummy. Thanks to the guy making them. He keep up with all the orders coming in. All this on his own. Thank you.

Our food took over an hour to arrive. Schnitzel overcooked and had to cut through with a steak knife.

Attended a birthday here at the weekend and it was great! The rooftop was awesome and all our needs were catered to. Have to say erin was standout - never stopped checking in with everyone and constantly working. The sliders were delish. Will be back on Sundays for the live music

class boozer! Got great happy hour deals every day of the week, plenty of screens showing live sport, good seating inside and out, friendly staff and great prices. Only tried the fries which were good

Called in for a pub meal and had a a really good experience. The food was good, hot, came in a timely manner. I had the pasture fed Scotch fillet and it was cooked as ordered and the chips were great. My dining companion had the prawn curry which was very nice as well. Not a cheap pub meal with a bottle of wine as well but quality and a very pleasant experience.

We visited the Grovesnor last night for steak night which was quite different to my previous experience in the dining room area which is currently being renovated. The section we were seated in was more sports bar and has a lot more of a casual feel to it. Standard, goto pub. Reliable quality food, drinks and service.

Really, really, really wanted to like this place as it’s our local. But we just can’t, mainly because of the bad service. We have given it 10-15 goes before writing this review and every experience has been the same. I don’t know what it is, but the bar staff just seem so unhappy. So not friendly, and it seems like a hassle when you have to “bother” them by asking if you could please have a beer. The place is pretty cool with great screens to watch sport, the food is reasonable- but the staff need some customer service training.

Ordered take away - estimated collection time was 6:48, waited an extra 32 minutes in the bottle shop car park. No apologies from staff or update. Will not order take away again from this place.

Just got an amazing amount of attitude from the bottleshop attendant for pointing out that he double charged me.
