Extreme over priced drinks for a club. Lunch special was very ordinary, wobbly tables and poor atmosphere.

Came in on a Thursday night. Very busy, food came out extremely quickly and was delicious. Supervisor Angus was outstanding and friendly. Cannot speak more kindly of him.

We had a great evening on Saturday. Dinner for 23 pax. Everything went off perfectly. The waiters were very efficient, friendly, & polite. And the meals were as usual of a very high standard. So also many thanks to the kitchen staff who are unseen.

Meals were a generous serving size, new menu offered a great range of options. Desserts were particularly yum!

I come here to play at the cricket nets and they are always free and amazing quality. Although I’ve only been inside the centre once to watch a cricket match it was very clean and we got the food very quickly with no issues.

It’s always a pleasure to visit my local sports club. The staff are very friendly and the bistro menu offers a great selection of meals to suit every taste. Reasonably priced as well. The club is always clean and tidy and furniture and decor is in good condition. Plenty of car parking and a courtesy bus if you want to have a drink! Great for Sunday lunch with the family or a drink with friends. Easy to find and get to even if you aren’t local.

Nice place, and great atmosphere. I was recommended the stir fry by Racheal, and it was absoutely splendid. Great for the price, would go again. Peace Toastedtim

So very disappointed with the poor service from the restaurant. Argued with the manager who would not let my 92 year old mother with dementia order a simple kids meal as she had done on previous occasions on principle. The guy was an absolute jerk not prepared to give her what she wanted. The food was rubbish that we received and we will never ever return to this establishment. Date of visit: November 2024

Extremely disappointed with Sawyers. Visited for lunch with my family and elderley Mother, who has advanced dementia. When we take Mum out, she can only manage a childrens meal and all the clubs/pubs we visit, will accomodate this request, no questions asked. Not the case at Sawyers. It was a flat out NO! This character was not budging. Sometimes not everything is black/white. Sometimes there are grey areas and you need to be a little bit flexible. Clearly, this person has no idea what dementia is all about and eating with your fingers is one of them. Anyway, we vote with our feet and we will not be stepping back inside Sawyers EVER again. Shame on you

Worst chicken parmy I’ve ever had, genuinely a struggle to eat. Chips ok but completely unredeemable compared to the rest of the food. Would not recommend eating here.

Terrible food. The burger was soggy and the meat patty taste like slush. Hardly any chips, and the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted.. Wow Not only are they clueless but they think people actually like their burgers. What world are they living in? 2024 Update: The club's response was quite interesting. If they can't consistently prepare a simple burger, it raises concerns about the quality of the rest of their menu. I'm willing to give them another chance, hoping they've learned the importance of fresh, handmade patties and have implemented higher standards. However, I'm not overly optimistic considering my past experiences. I am looking forward to visiting soon to see what has changed. I also encourage you to read my other one-star reviews for renowned burger joints. These places need to live up to their reputation and deliver on quality. It would also be beneficial if the club invested in creating a more inviting social atmosphere and focused on providing a space where people want to spend time. While their reliance on pokies is understandable, other clubs like Wenty's RSL have shown how reinvesting profits can lead to significant upgrades and improved overall experience.

It is a great local club with a variety of menu options. It is an ideal place to share a meal with friends. There is plenty of parking and a large and spacious bistro area. The staff are friendly.

Staff were great, helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Chef made sure we didn’t miss out on steak night - Sirloin steak was one of the best I’ve had, which is saying something considering steak is the only food I ever order! Compliments to the chef!

Nice place with a lot of potential but they are serving poor quality pub food but charging restaurant prices. Our food was over cooked and dry, the chips were again overcooked and not even edible. If you are going to charge restaurant prices start serving restaurant quality and a decent quantity to again reflect your pricing, even our chicken schnitzel was overcooked dry and crunchy maybe from sitting already cooked and it was extremely small. Terrible food, the club should be ashamed to watch these meals being cooked by inexperienced cooks and then charge as if they were proper restaurant meals. Not even a refund would have resolved the problem as it was a waste of our night.

Lovely place for dinner with kids. Kids love the woodfire pizza there and staff are very helpful. Definitely worth a try for a nice casual dinner out.

What a great place to have dinner while the little ones play in the soft play area, Even my 6 year old said how good the play area is! Older than 6 are not aloud in the play area which is great as the little ones can play calmly and not worry. The food is lovely! Big plate of steak with veggies and salad! Beautiful garlic beans, Cauliflower and carrots with a garden salad. The pesto salad was also a decent size and yummy. At $21 for a member, it’s cheaper and yummier than most cafes! Definitely coming back here. If you come at 6pm, it’s really calm and quiet.

Highly recommend Sawyers! Had an excellent meal this evening. Lots of GF options. We all enjoyed our meals. The crab linguine was superb, as was the fish and chips, salt and pepper calamari, lamb shank, pizza and GF burger. Service was excellent too.

Bistro was very slow, and food is overpriced. kids play area has been reduced to a tiny box. Used to love the old play area. We waited 20 minutes to put our food into order as they locked themselves out of their cash register. The only person there that day that had a smile on his face was the man serving the food. Staff serving behind the bar were sick and clearly not meant to be there. No friendly customer service at all. Management need to do better. When I communicated to them through fb, messages were read but not responded too. Terrible experience
