Kent St is a great bar to go to for well priced drinks, good service and a chill laid back atmosphere. It has that north side aesthetic with authentically positive feel. Stumbled across this gem when I found out they have free comedy on Monday nights. This is not just an open mic but a beautifully curated selection of both well known and up coming established comedians. If you’re looking for some laughs and a good time this is the place to be on a Monday night.

This is my favourite bar. It’s got it all, Atari, pickle beer, a framed negative customer review, political decor, a projector playing cult movies, and it’s right at the heart of Smith St.

A real find! Spent a couple of enjoyable hours watching the passing parade while I was resting after some intensive record shopping from the many local stores. Nice choice of beers, friendly staff, and friendly other customers. What's not to like? Will be back when I check out those other record stores!

Hired the upstairs function room for my 40th birthday shin-dig! Excellent space, and super friendly and accomodating staff - highly recommend!

Didn't make me feel like a relic because of my limited knowledge about various varieties of caffeine. Really enjoyed my cuppa and the atmosphere reminded me of happier times when coffee shops were the groovy places to be, enjoy live music and share a spliff with a few friends. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone!

Do not believe any ratings that is less than 5. Its a bar spot with the most pleasant staff. What's the last star you're holding off. Is it the drinks were too reasonably priced, the music too vibey, the staff too lovely and welcoming. Stop being jerks.
