Regulars to Mikes because the quality of the food is first rate, the staff and management are friendly, smiley & professional. The time it takes for them to deliver a quality meal is sensational & you are assured of consistent quality each and every meal and each and every visit.

I enjoyed my huge chicken snitzel....ni larger one have I ever seen and they do chips well. I mentioned to the staff that I won't have to eat for three days. On Friday Night this cafe is inside the East on West RSL ! They had a big raffle. Meat trays and someone won some good money. Sunday nights I think they also have a raffle. The meals are large and I often see people leaving with left overs in boxes.

Always excellent food. Problems are lengthy queuing times, separately for both food ordering and drinks, and on our first seating in the front restaurant area, it was too noisy for us to hear each other. Please install some sound deadening in the front restaurant area.

I and my wife had rip eye medium ($55), and scotch fillet medium well-done($50). rip eye steak came out as rare, and scotch fillet came out as over-cooked well-done even being burned. I complained about rip eye medium state, and the chef took it and cooked more. It came out after a while as well-done now. Even rip eye was quite dried, and hard to chew. The scotch fillet was super over cooked, and the steak was like a stone(very dried) after about 5 minutes. Also it tasted like burned charcoal, but nothing else. While I'm writing this, I can still taste the burned taste inside my mouth. I did complained about this, but they didn't do anything other than saying sorry, although I know there is nothing to do to correct it since it is already too overcooked. We barely finished the half of it, then gave up finishing it. Seriously, this restaurant's chef doesn't know how to cook steak at all. I strongly believe even meat was not even pre-processed to tenderise it. It completely ruined our dinner. The place was quite busy when I ordered it, but that's can't be an excuse. How can RIP EYE and SCOTCH FILLET be so so dried as a steak? It is even hard to do so. I am never going to this restaurant to have steaks again.

Always up to a good standard. Not overly fancy, just good Aussie fare.

I ate here for lunch and ordered the bruschetta. It was so salty I could not finish it. The bread was soggy within 4 minutes and the tomatoes were so mushy it felt like eating baby food. I spoke to the chefs and they did ask if I wanted anything else but I just couldn’t be bothered. Nothing wrong with the customer service. Food is average at best.

I used to come twice a week however the food is starting to be more expensive and smaller servings than before. Need to do more quality checks as food is starting to get no love or taste a bit bland. Management needs to check on the food going out .

Nice meals on a busy Sat night in Club East, Sutherland. A few gluten-free options which is good, could do with some more. Nice value cheap club membership option for small discounts. Handy to train station. Worth checking out to dine.

My wife had the poke bowl, it was absolutely fabulous, but then again we are always used to having a fabulous meal here, nothing has changed. The chefs are fantastic. She requested the poke bowl become a permanent feature on the menu. The sauce was unbelievable. We will be back

Club standard meals, plenty of seating; booths with comfy seating and plenty of small and large tables. Lovely menu, making changes is not a problem. Very efficient pickup and ordering system, the food was very fresh and hot when we got it!!

Ordered fish and chips. Was served up 2 small pieces..no thicker than my finger.. wish I could say I will be back.. I WONT BE!!!

Love the steak here. Will always come for more whenever we feel like eating steak. The mushroom sauce is very recommended. Really tasty, goes very well with their tender steak. Chilli prawn linguini deliciously cook and the chilli not very spicy, just give a little kick to your taste bud and the prawn very juicy and tender. Last but not least, Friendly staff and quick service.

Nice and clean. Ordered fish and chips. Two small pieces of fish. Very disappointing. Don't think I will be back.

Always great a Mike's grill. Great food, awesome serving sizes and always tasty. One night I thought I'd ordered 3 x kids meals and had only ordered 2, the chef said he's cook an extra up straight away - he fixed my mistake and made sure the kids all ate at the same time. I've been dining with Mike's Grill since the Sylvania hotel days (over 20 years now)!

Mums grill has turned the club around. Place is now very busy thanks to the good food

Love the food! Salmon and veg is amazing the veg is so fresh love the potato and always get a great piece of fish. The chicken schnitzel’s are huge my boys smash them, for the smaller appetites you can ask for a kids size! Staff are awesome so helpful and friendly, love my local!!

Sticky Date pudding just amazing. Food overall is excellent. Portion Sizes are great. Daily specials true value for money. $16 Chick Snitz with Chips and Salad - Couldn't eat it all.

My Wife & I had Lunch for Australia Day. Our first time Dining at this Venue. Food servings were awesome & the Food delicious. Very friendly Staff. The Head Chef was conscious of an Allergy & ensured we received the best support. He was fantastic. Highly Recommend Mike’s Grill Sutherland.

Nachos weren't great, quite dry and flavourless. Chicken schnitzels were also dry. Lamb cutlets were nice.

We finally found it! For those of you, like us , who were looking for the Mikes Grill from the pub, this is the one. It’s one block over from the pub on the corner of Oxford street. Same great staff, same great service, same awesome snitties … It’s the East’s Club. Get a membership, get 10% off.. what more could you want, Don’t wait , get back in there!

My son loves the Chicken Parma on a Thursday night. Mike himself is very receptive and a down to earth Shire boy who hasn’t lost touch to fine tune the details when required. Congratulations Mike for you continued success, you deserve it 🍽️

We had the absolute pleasure of dining here last night. Everything was exceptional. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the Bruschetta was the best we have ever tasted! Will 1 million% be back again asap!!!

I have eaten at Mike’s grill for a number of years at various locations and have known Mike a while. Mike is a fantastic chef, has been one of the best places for pub/bistro food in south Sydney. However, today at Sutherland RSL wasn’t the best culinary experience. This is the first time at Sutherland RSL. I’ll start with the positives - service was great, lady and man at the reception to the restaurant were exceptional. Negatives - food was very poor overall. I had the pasta seafood linguine. Red sauce -genuinely tasteless, prawns - again tasteless. Pasta slightly over cooked, not al dente. Wouldn’t say this is the biggest problem, most eateries will cook pasta that way but dish was overall poor due to the lack of flavour in the sauce. Beer battered prawns - average. Not sure whether they were but felt like they were straight out of the freezer. Garlic prawns - average/poor. Sauce was tasteless.

A good feed at a very reasonable price. Staff are great. Good for large gatherings or small. This business has changed from inside a hotel to now part of Club on East in Sutherland. You will need ID if not a member.. They have much more room now, and the club has changed it's dining section to three times the size. There Snitzrls are very large, so be prepared for a big meal. Very popular with the local clientele. They also have a seniors menu at a very reasonable price, eg. A 1/2 a Chicken Parnagiana with salad and chips for $15.00. The Club has a multi-storey parking station, so parking is now fantastic

I've been a loyal customer of Mike's Grill since the first one opened in 2000, and whether I'm dining at the Gymea, Rivers, Engadine Bowlo, Ramsgate, or Sutherland location, the experience is consistently outstanding. The food is always delicious, with generous portions that leave me satisfied, and the staff at each of these locations are the friendliest you'll find. Mike's Grill has truly maintained its exceptional quality and service across all these branches. 5 stars all the way!

Incredible food and service steak was the best I have eaten and ribs where amazing and don't have to wait for ever for the food was very quick really was amazing if u guys in Sydney make sure u go and have dinner there specially waiter lance was so nice and friendly I would hire him any time

Hi guys I came in 9 months ago with a friend named Kenneth we came for the 600g Rump Steak and Chips but unfortunately the Steak was really overcooked, dry and chewy the Chips were really under seasoned and Chewy as well the whole place was such a disappointment I asked for Bernaise sauce and they purposely forgot the Bernaise sauce for the steak The staff were also very rude and unhelpful to us My last Complaint is that the chairs were really cheap and nasty as well.
