Went here tonight for a friends birthday, and we all had a great time! Jarred was our host and was brilliant, we even had the venue alone and he chose the most appropriate playlist for us which was lovely 😍 Also, make sure to visit the ladies toilets for a fun surprise, it makes for such a fun addition! First time Axe Throwing family of 5 went along on Saturday 4 May 24, with the awesome Jared teaching and running us through the do's and don'ts. Had a most wonderful time, more fun than we expected. And again Jared making our experience even more enjoyable. Certainly be back, love the venue, the atmosphere and staff. Thanks for a great night.

This place was awesome, had an excellent time under Darcy’s tutelage. Gave us great pointers, let us use both the big axes and let us throw the competition ones. Man’s got good chat. Also, great atmosphere super friendly bar staff, kudos to Corey for letting us try every single amazing hot sauce (which they make in house) would recommend swinging by just to purchase the sauces and have a hang. 100% would recommend.

This place was so damn fun. Threw all the axes, didn’t die once. Darcy was an excellent teacher and was even kind enough to bring out some seriously cool big axes. Also, shout out to Corey behind bar for listening to all our dumb jokes and letting us try literally every hot sauce (spoiler: they were all really good)

I booked for my partners 30th birthday party, and we all had a great time. Lexi took care of us and they were such a good vibe. Would definitely recommend the wedges too- the perfect amount of crispy

Went in to give it a go on Sunday afternoon and absolutely exceeded expectations. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable, helping myself and the other first time throwers find our techniques. The hot sauce collection and the quality of the drinks were pleasant surprises as well. Couldn’t recommend more highly

Booked a mates rates session this past Saturday night. Time and money well spent. Not only was it great fun but the staff were attentive, generous with their time and genuinely invested in ensuring you have a good time. Added bonus the food was great too. Highly recommend!

Didn’t know what to expect, thought I’d struggle but it was incredibly easy. Awesome staff who were friendly and ensured we all had a great time. Following the axe throwing we all had drinks, shots and many beverages concluding the awesome experience. The old Scotsman got on the wall of fame fame for his unique wrist action with the shaft. The in house chef delivered great food and his special sauce was amazing.

Came here for a work outing, and had a blast! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and want you to have a great time. I didn't think I'd take to axe throwing at all, so I was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely return for social visits

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had an excellent time at this venue, enjoying both axe throwing and the rage room. The staff was exceptionally friendly, providing thorough explanations to ensure our safety! The food was amazing, and I highly recommend the experience!

If you haven't tried axe throwing get 4-5 people together and give it a go. Good fun night out. Also get training for the zombie apocalypse.

The staff here are amazing. They make you feel like you've been friends forever. It's a very place to feel comfortable and confident.

Venue was Ok, but having tried Maniax previously, would not pick Valhalla in future. Parking was awful.

Visited for a private function, so the experience was different, but the staff were great and the food was fantastic. It's also the home and birthplace of D-Twenty Sauce Co. so that's reason enough.

Another great experience today at this venue. It has an exciting and welcoming vibe and the facilities are well maintained. Safety is important to the team at Valhalla and they made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves for the duration of our booking. Definitely a must visit when in Melbourne!

Valhalla axe throwing is fantastic, and the staff are even more impressive. Despite the challenges hospitality has faced due to Covid, the two gentlemen working last night were incredibly relatable, fun, and hilarious, making the night unforgettable for our group. (I totally missed their names) It's crucial to acknowledge places that truly excel, and you've absolutely hit the bullseye. (Also, kudos to the chef for the epic hot sauces anyone who goes to Valhalla should try the hot sauces and grab some on the way home they have great layers of flavour. )

Some of the most fun I have had doing anything and Darcy (one of the only workers at the time) is an absolute champion made sure we were safe when throwing axes and all-round made the experience much better

Done a few tournaments, multiple birthday celebrations and practice sessions, can’t speak highly enough of the VIBE! For all y’all competitors out there, it’s all IATF sanctioned, really worth giving a season a go.

Rocked up with a small group on a fairly quiet day. Awesome 1 hour session. I highly recommend to anyone with a couple of hours to spare.

I freaking loved this place!! Amazing atmosphere and decorations and so much fun to throw axes. The staff were so friendly that I genuinely just want to chill with them and play I think the hardest thing was just what to watch, the blacksmithing on one TV, medieval fighting on another, or actually my friends throwing axes The food was really yummy and I'd highly suggest going as a group of 4 using their deal, includes drinks and food and a really good time!! Thank you so much to all the staff, you made a really great night for us!! We'll be back

Highlight of our Melbourne trip! We had Corey teaching us axe throwing, Darcy looking after us, and John made the best burger I've ever had! (And I'm picky about my burgers) they were all super friendly and fun. Corey knew exactly how to position us for our throws and had super encouraging feedback for everyone. Seriously got me considering axe throwing as a new hobby! Thanks so much Valhalla!

I absolutely love this venue. From the first time I came here to throw axes all the way through to attending the first marathon league there last. The staff are extremely friendly and always provide the best experience. I highly recommend this place for date night, hanging with mates, corporate activities and more

Good venue with good facilities. If you want to try chucking axes good venue. Great bar and food options

This is lots of fun, they guide you through how to throw an axe so everyone will get the hang of it. (It's basically based on how far away you aware and how you throw) There's different size axes and you'll even progress to throwing two at once. Thwy run a small competition at the end where the winner can challenge the staff - apparently they're unbeaten and although close we were unable to beat them. Once you've thrown, have a drink from the bar. There's also a smash room, but we didn't use that.

Food and drinks were great, really enjoyed the axe throwing and Darcy was awesome!

I went axe throwing here and it was such an amazing experience. We were only a group of 2, usually they have bigger groups and were so accommodating for us! The owner sat with us an scored our competition and it was so much fun. Thank you so much for the great night and experience.

Such an incredible space run by some pretty great people! Huge fan of how much effort they put in to decorate the place on holidays, and how they make a point of playing every possible sporting event on the TV's so that people can come in and enjoy them. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience, instructors were easy going and great with advice. After the session the cold cider was great.

Great place to both play and learn axe throwing games. The team is awesome at instructing and ensuring throwers know how to throw safely and accurately. Trivia on Wednesdays as well as food and drinks are certainly worth it too.

Was an absolutely amazing experience, loved it! The staff,James and Darcy, were fantastic. They were incredible with providing tips on how to throw the axe as well as some cool trick shots🪓! The menu/bar is also filled with many delicious options. Highly recommend for a fun night out.

I cant even tell you how much fun this was. We had so much fun after axe throwing we played pool and had drinks and lunch. A perfect day, will definately be back. Darcy the owner even scored for us in our very competitive 10 games. If you havent done this its definitely a must.

An amazing experience. The instructors are friendly and very helpful. There are trick shots as well as different types of axes. They have lots of doors open so fresh air is everywhere and always press the red button. LGBTQIA + friendly.

A great place for a bit of axe throwing followed by an ale and some very tasty pub style food. With vegetarian options. Very friendly atmosphere and staff who are well versed in teaching novices how to throw an axe. Loved it and will bring the family on our next trip to Melbourne
