East Malvern RSL Club & Bistro

Came here for a birthday of a close family member. It is your standard rsl. Food is pretty good for an rsl, and the meat raffle was a lot of joy and fun for all involved! I won a bottle of white wine and cannot wait to get stuck into it! Parking was quite difficult however this could be due to the multiple cricket matches going on. Overall nothing crazy special but nothing too bad either! Would come back for a solid little meal.

My wife and I arranged to have my wife's 70th birthday celebration at the East Malvern RSL. It was a spacious light filled venue. Great view out the large windows onto native parkland and bush. Kerri was very easy to work with prior to the party. She recommended a selection of their very tasty finger foods. On the day, Kerri had tables set up, and helped hand out the food, as well as arrange the feature table flowers, food and glasses.

You folk should so change the pic that pops up when one goes to the venue online . Just sayin' LOL . Having been somewhat familiar with this Club for several years , it has been re-birthed wonderfully . Attending a Regimental function there a couple of weeks ago , my companion and I were delighted by stylishly presented and utterly delicious dishes ( a true sign of the chef's ability when cooking for 80+ pax ) . As I enjoyed a drink on the balcony afterwards , locals and their children arrived in dozens to play soccer , kick-to-kick and run around like mad things on the bowling green whilst mum and dad enjoyed a beer . What a joy to see a Returned & Services Club connecting so superbly with its local community .

Once again a fabulous night out. Delicious meal and 3 prizes in the raffle. What a night

This place was a great venue for my friends memorial get together. He was a great jazz musician, so his friends played great jazz music. The food provided was also excellent.......

I was there this Sunday for lunch with friends. We all enjoyed our time there. Must say the food was wonderful.

Good meals great service family friendly atmosphere

I am disappointed when reading some of the reviews We have attended on a number of occasions with a group of 10 neighborhood friends and always enjoyed the evening This is an RSL club and has far more meaning than the local cafe or restaurant and does give a value for money service. The welcome and staff are always pleasant and we all feel good about supporting the RSL and what it stands for Enjoy Michael and Maggie Glen Iris

Great local spot - super staff. Needs to be supported to survive and thrive. Get on down there people! Especialy the Fridsy night raffles...

Great 'old-school' club atmosphere, good drink prices, good meals, good parking (on a weekday) and a lovely outlook over the parklands. No pokies, nice!!

The function room was the perfect venue for a family gathering. Good bar, food and dance floor and parking Hard to find good places like this so keep it in mind if you need a great venue.

Visited for a club meeting. First impression was this would be a 3-starer, and it was, decor is a bit dated and just overall feels quiet. The evening was enjoyable however with very friendly staff, and the meals were very nice, earning the East Malvern RSL an extra 🌟. Well done guys. People in the area should support this place so that hopefully it can liven up😉

This place has gone downhill lately. No pokies. Poor dining facilities. Looks old and tired

Great music on Sundays

Firstly, there is nowhere to scan your membership cards to accumulate points to your membership, either for your entry or for your meals and drinks. Secondly, I had the chicken parmigiana which was over cooked and the cheese on top was starting to burn. The salad was drowning in dressing(way too much dressing). Thirdly, I was standing at the door waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes.

Jazz night every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 730pm. The band is awesome!

East Malvern RSL a local Returned Sericeman and Womens Leagues Club set near the East Malvern Golf Course and Sports areas has a great aspect looking across the area with friendly service great food and drinks at RSL prices and Luve Music either Saturday or Sundays....

Food was bland and below average. The chef was extremely unfriendly.

Plenty of parking and beautiful reserve at the front. There’s also a nice shaded fenced playground with various relatively new facilities for toddlers and older kids.

Sometimes the entertainment is a little different

Good Reserve for outdoor activities.

Always a good place for a drink, a bet and a meal, also has very good Sunday afternoon entertainment
